Don’t hate me, but I thought Cameron Diaz looked pretty good… for her. Like, I have a long memory of how many times I feel like Cameron has looked like ten kinds of busted hell on some major red carpets, and I don’t think this was one of them. For the Oscars, Camy wore this neutral Gucci with some sparkles and feathers on the skirt. On TV, it looked beigey-tan, but in these photos, it seems more “cream.” I don’t know. Was this the best choice? No. But it didn’t suck either. Her face moved, her hair was simple and California-girl, her tan looked good, her makeup was understated, and the dress was flattering. All in all, it was one of her best public outings in a while, I thought. I wasn’t crazy about her presenting thing with Jennifer Lopez for Best Costume, but it didn’t offend me either.
Sidenote: did you notice how Camy and P. Diddy were seated very close to each other? He was one row back, a few seats over. Close enough to whisper to each other. I’m worried that Camy is going to take her “breezy hookup” guy and try to make him her “official boyfriend.” Camy could do better. Ugh.
And here’s Camy’s post-Oscar look – this is what she wore to the Vanity Fair party. As soon as I saw that exposed zipper detail on the back, I knew it was a Victoria Beckham gown. I don’t hate the zipper, I don’t hate the dress, I don’t hate the fit. I do hate the bright orange though. She looks like a traffic cone. Ugh.

No, the saline implants shoved in there make her breasts look horrible. The dress just didn’t help. That being said, I loved the dress, just wasn’t flattering up top.
The white dress reminded me of the dress Pippa Middleton wore to the royal wedding. Beautiful drape on the fabric, perfectly molded to her body.

@qq – Re: CAmi’s younger face….i think she’s aging very badly. Same as SJP. She was also cute as a youngun but at some point they both have suddenly agged, and not very well at all.
Also, i think the fillers she had around couture week back in January have finally settled so her face doesn’t look too bad here.
I didn’t mind the dresses (liked the orange one – very bold). But I can’t get over what the hell is happening to her face. It ruined the dresses for me. That and the terrible hair. When did she morph into my mom? And why does she look 50 now? Is that what too much sun does? I dunno.
I know I know I know. Her hair looks SO much better when it is medium long and her natural honey blonde, not this ‘sun-in’ bleached short moppy mess. Her arms look fierce, in a good way, very lean and nice color and skin tone. She definitely got a boob boost too. I am a proud member (sometimes, lol) of the ‘size A brigade’ and I notice these things on my fellow A- listers. ;O) I have a strange liking for orange right now, so I like the dress color.

WOW!! Cameron looks great!! She is in top physical condition. I like the cream dress she really pulls it off.
From the neck down – gorgeous. She has a fantastic figure. Both dresses seem to give her a waist, which is something that I don’t think she really has. She must have a new stylist because her outfits have been getting better lately. All that said, I prefer the Victoria Beckham dress on her. She looks so tall (I realize she is) in it! And her ass looks great.
I know tangerine is supposed to be THE colour this spring/summer but i think it’s hideous. I think I would have liked, not loved but definitely liked it, in another colour. Maybe a sorbet colour?
I like the cream dress just the way it is. The orange dress would of looked better if it was red or blue.
Diaz looked far better last night than she has in ages.
Maybe hanging out with GOOP has helped her get back on the path to not looking completly busted. Paltrow even shared that she and Diaz got ready together for the ceremony. Ahhh, besties!

She’s still gorgeous for her age it’s just weird, it’s like time sped up for her.

I thought the cream Gucci was possibly the best dress of the evening and the fit was absolute perfection. Her face isn’t looking too good these days but the makeup and hair style worked. I’m not a fan, but Cam gets my nod for best dressed.
I think she looks good in both outfits, but my fave on her is still the gold De La Renta gown from the past Oscar

Banging bod, pretty dress, cute haircut. The rest, blech. Someone should tell her that wearing black eyeliner on your bottom lashes ages you. No one over 30 should be doing that. It draws attention to every line around your eyes. Also, the white-blonde hair with dark roots doesn’t work either. The golden-blonde color with no dark roots looks much better on her.

I prefer the orange, she does look better than usual. When i saw her in the Orange dress i was like THAT’S DIAZ?! she looks great. I hate when people are snobby about Victoria Beckham dresses i really like them and i love the bright orange too.

Once in a while I see a Beckham piece that I like. Most of the time, though I really hate them. One of the things I dislike about them is all the hardware showing. To me, zippers, snaps, metal loops and whatnot should only be visible in casual wear.

From the side the Gucci is smushing her in weird ways, from the front it’s very pretty if a tad draining. I think the Beckham colour and cut is stunning on her, hate the zip though. Camy is not a pretty girl. i am surprised at how “middle aged” she looks all of a sudden. make that middle aged and TRYING to look like a hot young thing.
I don’t know what she has done to her face, but it’s very odd looking at this point. She used to have a very strong resemblance to my older sister, but at this point, I can’t see it. Seeing her body makes me happy though, we are all broad-shouldered, slim-hipped, long and tall athletic girls in my family, and hopefully I can hold myself up as well as her. Of course I weigh 155 not 130, but whatevs, maybe it will keep my face looking better =)
I’m not completely in love with her hair but I will say that she looks SO much better since she cut that stringy mess off. The long hair aged her.

The Gucci beige dress is the best I have ever seen Cameron look. She is freshly botoxed & filled but she has terrible skin in real life so she needed it – she was looking haggard & now she looks refreshed.

That Gucci dress was awful – hair,skin and dress all in one colour (well almost). I thought she looked awful at the Oscars. The orange VB dress is a completely different story: Cam looked great. There you have it Cam, get away from cream, white and beige and put on something with colour!

I like the beige dress. The bottom was really pretty. I think her face looks better than I’ve seen in a long time. Not as sun damaged, but she doesn’t look like she’s had plastic surgery done (except her boobs).
