Talk about major life changes — Jack Osbourne has endured a great number of them in just the past year. He and his fiancée, Lisa Stelley, became new parents to daughter Pearl Clementine in late April, and then Jack was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in May after he lost partial vision in one eye. Throughout the past few months, Jack has demonstrated a great attitude towards his diagnosis and has also declared that his disease is “not a death sentence.” Late last week, rumors started to buzz that Jack and Lisa were preparing to marry in Hawaii over the weekend, and Jack was quick to laugh off the talk on his Twitter page.
Of course (as celebrities often are), Jack was just full of crap! He and Lisa really got married on Sunday in a lovely oceanfront ceremony on The Big Island. Here are the details:
It’s been quite the year for Jack Osbourne.
The son of Ozzy and Sharon got engaged to love Lisa Stelly last September, welcomed daughter Pearl in April, and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in June. And now? Osbourne is officially a married man.
The former reality star, 26, tied the knot with aspiring actress Stelly in an intimate Hawaiian ceremony Sunday, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (A rep for Osbourne confirmed to Us that he and Stelly made it official).
The couple first began dating in April 2011. After Osbourne’s shocking MS diagnosis earlier this summer, a source close to the pair told Us Stelly was committed to standing by her man, and helping him cope with the disease.
“Lisa makes sure he’s healthy — eating right and exercising,” says a friend of the duo. “They love staying active as a family.”
Jack is also “a great influence on [Lisa],” another source shares. And their “stable” bond is “no drama,” the source adds.
Jack and Lisa’s nuptials won’t be the only milestone the Osbourne family celebrates while they’re in Hawaii: they’ll most likely fete Jack’s mom Sharon, too, as The Talk host turns the big 6-0 on Tuesday.
