At the beginning of the new year, I asked all of you if you were interested in seeing more coverage of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan now that they were expecting their first child together. Most of you seemed to be interested in it, so here you go. Channing took his pregnant wife out to lunch a few days ago in Beverly Hills, and while they don’t seem thrilled to be pap’d, they don’t look angry either. Channing even half-cocked his cap so we could see that he’s recently shaved his head. Remember – he had hair during his holiday vacation in St. Barts. I don’t know why he shaved his head… like, is it for a movie? Unknown. He has a bunch of movies in pre-production, so it could be any one of them.
Daddy-to-be Channing Tatum is trying out a new look. The Magic Mike actor stepped out for a quick bite with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Beverly Hills Wednesday, Jan. 16, and offered a glimpse of his totally bald, shaved head.
The couple kept things casual in a sweater and beanie for Tatum and a denim shirt and long skirt for Dewan, who showed off a growing baby bump.
Tatum and Dewan, both 32, have been ecstatically awaiting their bundle of joy since first confirming the pregnancy to Us Weekly in December.
“Channing is so excited for the baby,” a pal of the couple told Us at the time. “He’s been wanting this a long time. They are over the moon about becoming parents.”
The couple married in Malibu on July 11, 2009, after meeting on the set of Step Up three years earlier.
Shortly after their pregnancy announcement, Tatum told Entertainment Weekly that he was planning to step back from acting a bit to focus on more behind-the-scenes projects with his partner Reid Carolin, who wrote the screenplay for Magic Mike.
The pair has also been getting ready for their first-time parenthood with a little help from their pet dogs, Lulu and Meeka.
“They are kids without being kids,” Dewan told Us. “It’s good prep.”
Well… I’m still really happy for them. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually invested in them, I’m invested in them staying together. I’m invested in believing that Channing really is an incredibly nice guy who works hard and loves his wife and can’t wait to be a father. Do you think he’s really like that?

Yep, I’m invested too. I love me some Charming Potato. I am a sucker for a dance movie, so I’ve been a fan of his/theirs since Step Up.
Every interview I’ve ever read shows a decent, down to earth guy with a good heart. He could have easily traded up for a more famous starlet by this point and he’s never given the vibe that that’s even on his radar.
I wish only good things for them and their impending tater tot.

Gross? I don’t like or hate. I feel nothing. He’s had many opportunities to show he can act and has fallen flat every time. His looks don’t appeal. I’m sure he’s nice, hard working yadda yadda, but so are a lot of people. I don’t care about his wife, but I wish them luck and a healthy baby.
I have seen is indie work? A guide to recognizing your saint and Stop Loss. Good performance even the critics agree. He was hilarious in 21 jump street, The dilemma and Magic Mike. He should do more comedies because its more of his strong suit.I have seen worse actors than him.
Either way I’m invested in him. All I hear is good things about him and apparently everyone his loves him. He’s harmless. Congrats on the baby!
I have seen A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. Forgot about that one (saw it for RDjr). That’s the best I’ve seen from him. I’ll check out Stop-Loss, though Ryan Phillippe is another one that doesn’t do it for me. I thought Magic Mike was very overrated, Rachel McAdams deserved better in The Vow, and 21 Jump wasn’t that funny. I just don’t get the hype.
Yeah I’m not a fan of Ryan. I’m not even talking about acting. I’m talking about the person. lol

I’m invested in them too! Regardless of whether you think he is hot or not, you can’t deny his obvious adoration of his wife. It’s so nice. You can tell he’s been brought up well. He’s great…. and they are great together. *sigh*
