Kristen Stewart stepped out with a female friend in Los Feliz on Friday

Yay! I’m actually really happy we have some new Kristen Stewart photos. She’s been photographed a few times since Robert Pattinson dumped her, but those pics were always exclusives. Kristen was photographed (exhaustively) on Friday, hanging out with a girlfriend in Los Feliz. There seems to be a zippered sweatshirt that comes and goes, and I guess the paps were trailing Kristen for the better part of the day. I have no idea who the blonde chick is – just a friend, I’m assuming.

In case you couldn’t tell, I’m also assuming that we’re seeing these photos of Kristen because she wants us to see them. Kristen plays the game just like everyone else in Hollywood. And this photo op seems right on schedule – a few weeks after Us Weekly published the Mini Coopering photos, Kristen also made a point of stepping out for a photo op in workout-type clothes. I’m assuming that this part of her image maintenance – she wants us to know she’s not curled up in bed, sobbing. She’s out and about, signing on for movies (about Gitmo, ugh) and getting coffee, getting haircuts and hanging out with her girlfriends. She’s not drowning her sorrows in sparkle-booze and drunk-texting Sparkles.

A source recently told Hollywood Life, “Kristen has been just laying low, hanging out with her closest friends and trying to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible. She misses her best friend. It’s like a part of her has died and she is still going through the grieving process.” Hm. Is that on or off-message? Like, are we supposed to feel sorry for her if we think that she’s just a sad girl, grieving the end of her relationship?

she really knows how to rock that borderline homeless look

  2. Annie says:

See fans? No ring. And stop saying the paparazzi photoshopped it out of the pictures.

OH I read the craziest tweet the other day, some fan saying things like “Paparazzi – you’ve done what you wanted. You have the fans worried just to play games and do what the tabloids tell you. You have pictures of them together, walking their dogs, going to dinner. Now is the time to post them. We know you have them.”

It was INSANE. They just refuse to accept they are over. And for what?

    • Rhea says:

      Yikes! That’s kinda…creepy….

    • Jan says:

You want to hear creepy. Go over to Rob Pattinson Intoxication and read the comments of those women who are in absolute denial of any breakup. Unbelievable.

      • Annie says:

Wow. Intoxicated indeed. It’s like their religion. They NEED to believe. And they are more upset and worried than Rob and Kristen are.

    • Janet says:

KStew is Bella and Pattinson is Edward. Bella and Edward are in love and married forever. So their real-life counterparts have to do the same or the story turns out to be fiction after all and the world stops spinning on its axis. NOW do you get it? Like you said, it’s the Twihards’ religion, and nobody wants to have their religion exposed as a fake and find out they have been worshiping false gods all along. They need to believe or their lives have no meaning any more.
      🙄

      • pippa says:

That’s the reason they are trashing Rob all over gossipcop cuz he dared to move on with his life. Idiots. And the sad thing is most of them are older women.

      • Ag says:

Who the hell are these people who get so emotionally involved and preoccupied with celebrities? Scary and sad.

      • Janet says:

@Ag: Overidentification. They’re so emotionally invested in the whole Twilight story, they’ve confused the characters with the actors playing them.

      • aquarius64 says:

And the Twi-hards are upset because this didn’t play out like in Eclipse: Bella cheated on Edward with Jacob and Edward took her back. Bella still maintained a friendship with Jacob after the reel-life (i.e. movie) “momentary indiscretion”. They can’t separate the two.

      • ctkat1 says:

@Ag: I posted on another story on this site that in my opinion, it was wrong for her to cheat and it was wrong for him to take her back if he wasn’t willing to forgive her. I also said that they were so very young, and it was crazy for anyone to think that they were going to be together for the next 60 years. This is based not so much on them, just on general knowledge of healthy relationships.
And I got a response that I was wrong, that Kristen was 19 when they got together, not 17 or 18 like I thought (um…?), and that Rob was a saint to take her back.

So yeah…people are overly invested in this relationship.

      • paranormalgirl says:

I’m not even that invested in my OWN life!!!

    • aquarius64 says:

SERIOUSLY?! That franchise has messed up so many teenage girls (and adult women) by selling an unrealistic image of love and relationships. If Rob and Kristen are smart they would stay FAR away from the Teen Choice Awards. If one or both show up, or even win in their category, the Twi-hards will see this as a sign from above that they are destined to be together.

      • Janet says:

LOL seriously. You know what some of those 30+ year old Twihards wore at the premiere of Breaking Dawn 1? Wedding dresses, specially purchased for the occasion. No, I am not making that up.

      • Nan says:

That franchise sold a variation of a Disney princess story. If you don’t want little girls to be unrealistic go bark some bigger trees.

    • Camille (TheOriginal) says:

      Bizarre!

Those people sound like they seriously need to get a life (more than the extreme fans/haters of other certain celebs that I won’t mention).

      • Janet says:

Now they are saying on Gossip Cop that Pattinson and Katy Perry have been knocking boots since 2011 and KStew was so hurt by his betrayal that she screwed Sanders out of desperation. Where do they get this bullshit?

Gossip Cop used to be a fairly reliable source of information (at least debunking groundless rumors) until it was invaded and overrun by Twihards after Ted Casablanca shut down his web site. Now all they care about is how many hits they get.

  3. dcrover says:

That friend fits right in with her rat pack! What the hell is she wearing?

    • I.want.shoes says:

Long sleeve denim shirt buttoned all the way up with a sweatershirt, and yet short shorts… it’s not only fug but bizarre.

    • Launicaangelina says:

Yes, I had to comment on the horrendous outfit her friend is wearing. It’s like she trying as hard as possible to look as unattractive as she can. Horrible.

    • lisa says:

i think she was carefully selected so that kstew would look better by comparison w/o having to actually bathe or select an outfit

    • HappyMom says:

      And her hair-yikes!

    • Gretchen says:

      That hat should be incinerated

  4. Eleonor says:

    Jesus gurl WASH YOUR HAIR.

    • Lemony says:

No kidding! And didn’t she have kind of blondish hair a few years back, her natural shade? So why is she still wearing the Twilight haircolor when those movies are all done? (they are, right? please tell me they are done!) You can see the regrowth & how long it’s been since she touched up her haircolor. If I remember correctly she had ashy roots & reddish length at the Oscars.
If I was her, when I finished those movies I would’ve chopped off my hair & dyed it a different color, to fully shed that character.

    • Tulip Garden says:

Yes, yes, and yes. I don’t care if she wants to dress like…that, it’s her thing but there is no excuse for the hair! I could understand if it were an occasional thing but this girl always looks like her hair is just dirty, leaving the impression that she is just dirty!

      • Evelyn says:

You’re right, her roots are horrendous. Someone should tell her if she touched up her roots, she could at least LOOK like he bathed

  5. FreeSpiritedGirl says:

Aww… missing her best friend… whom she cheated on. aww… :-PPPP

Ooooh, I’d like to share this latest pic of Rob from last night. Doesn’t he look good with a nice bathed hygienic girl? http://mrpattinson.tumblr.com/post/52530542826/sarark-new-fan-pictures-from-tonight

    • Annie says:

Kristen can smile all she wants and go out everyday with her worthless douchebag posse but Rob can pretty much shut her up by simply showing up handsome at any club and posing with cute girls as a newly single man. I’m sure that whipes off her shit eating grin in a nano second. It just doesn’t compare. So she should really just try to stop showing the world that she doesn’t care and is fine. We all know that is not the case, and if Rob shows a guy’s version of I’m fine she will not enjoy it.

    • Starbuck says:

He looks incredible. Looks like he got a tan. I’m very curious to see how this Katy Perry thing shakes out.

      • Annie says:

I really don’t think he’s hooking up with her though. She and Mayer still have their on an off thing. But I can’t wait ’til she introduces him to someone hot.

Also, it’s worth pointing out how HOT he looks when he’s not with Kristen. It’s like he cares about life enough to shower and shave. With her he’s so miserable it’s not even worth it to take a shower and wear clean clothes. It’s like she rubs off on him, badly. I want him to be with someone who makes him look better. Not just appearance wise but HAPPY. Haven’t seen him genuinly happy in ages.

      • Starbuck says:

Annie – cant reply to your post directly for some reason but wanted to say I agree. I don’t necessarily think they are dating either but I’ve learned not to be surprised by anything. He hotness factor seemed to go down signifantly this year. I didn’t even think he looked that great at the Golden Globes and he always looks great at those events. KS seems to be working extra hard to put it out there that she is doing just fine and perhaps she is. But she will learn that her real life persona has just invaded her celebrity to the point that I don’t know if people will ever be able to separate how terrible she seems to be as a person from her roles and I don’t think she has enought depth as an actress for people to buy her in roles that require more than her limited range.. For someone like her, who claimed to hate all the Hollywodd BS to be an active player in it to sink to calling the “cockroaches” as she calls them to record her daily exploits just demonstrates again how much of a fraud she is. People can say what they want about KP and her talent, ect,, but you can’t argue that is is a very smart business woman given what she has achieved. I respect that. KS on the other hand, whatever smarts she has (and at this point I’m beginning to think she is just not bright) can’t overcome how immature she is. She needs to grow up and get over herself. Maybe then she will make headway to getting the career she obviously thinks she deserves.

      • Starbuck says:

Oops, looks like I was able to reply directly. Lol

      • Janet says:

I don’t think there is a “thing”. I think they’re just friends. Friends with benefits? I hope not. I’d hope he has too much class than to want John Mayer’s sloppy seconds.

  6. bns says:

    LOL hipsters.

  7. Luisa says:

I read that he was at the Bjork concert with Katy Perry.

    • another nina says:

I’m not sure about Bjork. The girl that tweeted his pic was from Iceland though.

      • pippa says:

I read somewhere that they are backup singers (?) to Bjork.

Good to note that Rob was enjoying a concert with Katy. They were also at Chateau Marmont on Friday with John Mayer and other friends.

I don’t know if Katy/Rob are just friends or something is going on. If there is, where does JMayer fit into it?

  8. serena says:

And she hangs around with her mouth almost always open, so annoying.
Other than that, good for her if she’s not drunk-texing Sparkles and all.

  9. poppy says:

wasn’t their relationship fake to begin with?
why would it continue past the end of the series when they are contractually no longer obligated?

    • Barb says:

@poppy…According to several gossip blinds, their relationship was fake and they were bearding for each other.

  10. TOPgirl says:

I hope they get back together. They make such a cute couple. I don’t care that she cheated on him because she apologized and tried her best to redeem herself in his eyes but he’s way too much a coward to accept it and step up.

    • pippa says:

      facepalm

    • Tulip Garden says:

ha!ha!ha! Really? He’s a coward? I think that it was/is rather lovely of him to forgive her in the first place. He certainly didn’t have to and it may have damaged his rep b/c he did. Good on him for doing what he felt compelled to do. Obviously, with time he decided to pull the plug on the whole thing. That doesn’t make him cowardly. I believe that he has behaved astonishing well after such a public humiliation…and, I’m not even a fan.
BTW, apologies may garner forgiveness but they don’t generate free passes for bad behavior. The most a person can hope for is to be forgiven. It’s narcisstic (sp?) to believe that once you apologize that the recipient will put you right back in their good graces.

      • gorda says:

Ladies, Rob is not a coward nor a hero, he is a doormat who doesn’t have any dignity or self respect who took back his cheating girfriend. Noone force him to do anything. He has no spine.

As far as her, she is whiny little bitch who only cares about herself and didn’t think how her actions would destroy others.

Two years ago I found out my husband cheated on me. Two years later, we are divorced. I have too much self respect to stay with a man that doesn’t honor his bows.

So stop defending these two idiots, they deserve each other. I hope he goes back to her just to hear the many excuses that his fans are gonna make to justify his doormat behavior. I can already read it ‘they made him do this, he was forced to do that’ LOL.

      • Tulip Garden says:

        Hey Gordo,

I am not defending either one of them. I believe their behavior speaks for itself. KS is obviously that type of person that lies and cheats on the person she is with and with a married man to boot. I don’t find that behavior defensible. As far as Sparkles, my point was that I believe that he wasn’t ready to call it quits on their relationship despite the cheating which you may call “doormat” behavior. To an extent, I agree with you. The important thing, to me, is that he took his time making a decision about his relationship and now he can put it all behind him and be at peace with it…no “what ifs”.
In comparison, I think Sparkles just comes out better than KS. Then again, that isn’t difficult to do, is it?
So, yeah, I get the “doormat” thing and admit that that was how I thought of him too but it is never too late to redeem yourself and regain your self-respect.
BTW, good on you for leaving the cheater, I guess immediately? Hope that you have found happiness either with someone or by your glorious self!:)

      • gorda says:

        @Tulip Garden:
Thanks for the kind words. I wish I could say iam happy but iam not there yet because when someone cheats on you, it takes all your self steem away and it leaves you feeling worthless. I don’t wish this on anyone. Is gonna take some counselling and time for me to trust again and be able to move forward.

I do wish Rob the best, I just wish he would have done things different. He deserves better.

    • Annie says:

A coward?? HIM?! Are you serious?! He’s the one who had to face the press and answer questions about the scandal when he should’ve been promoting his own movie. She has never answered questions about it. Her promo was perfect and annoyance free. And he had to take her back asap so Twilight promo was not been ruined. He took her back despite his own feelings so her career wouldn’t suffer (more). That is loyalty and generosity, which she does not deserve.

And step up for who? A person who mocked him? Someone like her is not worth the effort. Not only is she selfish and disloyal, she clearly can’t focus on a single man at a time.

He did everything he could. He owes her nothing if she can’t even give him the truth.

      • pippa says:

On Gossipcop all her crazy fans and Robsten fans are trashing him for daring to go out and have fun with his friend Katy. They are convinced that Rob is the cheater while KS is the victim. Parallel universe. I mean who thinks like that?

      • Mi says:

They are reading L Gossip, she claims that rob drove Kristen to cheating, because he’s a manwh@re bangins randoms, according to sources while filming Cosmopolis 2 YEARS ago.:D

    • Janet says:

Good lord, sweetie, how old are you? Thirteen and a half?

      • HappyMom says:

I was thinking the same thing. She should be off doing her homework instead of reading celeb gossip.

      • insomniac says:

Judging from some of the userpics I’ve seen on various Robsten sites, it’s just as likely she’s in her 40s.

    • Lady D says:

      What pippa said. Total facepalm.

    • Pastyousayyouneverknew says:

@TOPgirl embarrassed that you even made this comment. I really hope you’re like twelve, that’s the only way your comment will really make sense.

      • Janet says:

Awww, lets leave the poor child alone. The bottom fell out of her world the day KStew and Pattinson broke up.

      • DEB says:

Twelve? or “like twelve”? Which is it? You’re the airhead here.

      • Pastyousayyouneverknew says:

@DEB Nope, not an airhead. Like twelve, around twelve, presumably twelve – take your pick. You come across as immature with your name-calling 🙂

    • Emily C. says:

I think Kristen was way too young to have a relationship as serious as the relationship with Rob was when they started, especially with a man 4 years older than her. 4 years is a big gap at that age. It was always doomed. She should have found a better way of hopping off Rob than hopping onto someone else, especially a married someone else, but meh.

Kristen and Rob are not Bella and Edward. Thank god, because Bella and Edward are vile. I don’t think Rob’s mean for not taking her back — actually, this breakup looks mutual to me, for all the spin people are trying to put on it. But all the people thinking Rob is this poor widdle boy who never did anything wrong ever and had his heart broken: please. He’s a Hollywood actor, a man in his late 20s who can have sex with very nearly any woman he wants, and I don’t believe he was 100% faithful to Kristen either. He’d better be able to get over the pathetic woobie image that’s sticking to him, and fast, or he’ll tank his career.

      • Anname says:

You know there actually are faithful men out there! This belief that he must have cheated on her, despite any credible evidence, is an attempt to exonerate Kristen’s behaviour. He was stalked and hunted for years, but never found to be unfaithful.

      • Mi says:

For hollywood’s standards and fame and money (of course) he got,his behaviour was almost saint. He never demolished hotel rooms like some other ”stars”,never hit/beaten up paparazzi,or his girlfriend, never was unprofessional towards his co-workers on set, never was spotted partying with hookers/models or something like that.Media people/movie bloggers/critics were throwing sh@t on him every possible time, because of his fame and female interest;they were not able to write a fair review of his movies without mentioning about his hearthrob status and being a vampire. After the scandal broke he was called cuckold, when he took Kristen back he was a spinless doormat and now he’s a coward that drove Kristen to cheating. It’s enought for one twenty-something guy.

  11. Deb says:

All those millions from the twi-tards piggy banks (or Social Security checks whichever age group they’re in) and yet she can’t afford shampoo or clean clothes.

    • Annie says:

All of those millions pay for her mother’s various vanity projects, like her recent dabbling in film making. If she’s not careful with that either, she’s not going to have much of a fortune in the next 10 years.

  12. Shelly says:

The nerdy eyeglasses trend needs to die now.

  13. onegirlup says:

She always looks greasy, dirty. As far as I’m concerned she’s really just a “teenager” so I guess that’s normal. Teenagers are rebels so perhaps she’s rebelling against showering or looking fresh. Either way I bet she stinks up close too. Meh…

    • Pastyousayyouneverknew says:

Girl is 23 lol. She definitely comes off as a teenager in more than how she dressed, the way she carries herself, unprofessional, vulgar, I hope she one day starts to see herself as more than a rebellious teen. She’s a young woman.

  14. Jennifer12 says:

She’s not a teenager; she’s 23 or 24 years old. She is Avril Lavigne, constantly convinced that she’s this edgy, hip person. She wanted to cheat on Rob, she did, and she ruined a close, loving relationship with a good guy. She needs to accept it and stop playing the victim. Rob was just over her childish drama, IMO.

    • Annie says:

Rob outgrew her. Rob matured, evolved, became a man. She’s still a teenager deep inside. She’s an ungrateful brat and I bet she’s that abusive girlfriend who plays games and loves to manipulate.

I hope he dates an older woman next. Someone hot and accomplished. If Jessica Chastain was single, I’d pick her. Or Anna Kendrick, even, who is a year older. They always got along and he always seemed smitten with her.

      • Janet says:

I don’t like Anna Kendrick at all. I’d really like to see him hook up with Emma Watson. I think they’d make a lovely couple. She’s classy and intelligent and doesn’t have a ton of emotional baggage and she looks like she showers every day.

      • pippa says:

I hope this Katy Perry thing happens. I want to see the twihards’ world blown apart.

    • Jennifer12 says:

I think so, too. At one point, when they were younger- Rob was a little younger than she is now- they had terrific chemistry and were fascinated by each other. People, they’re not really Bella&Edward. Move on with your life. They have; Rob is just more successful at it. I’m not much for Kristin and never was- she really does remind me of the snotty, bratty, immature, entitled Avril Lavigne. She’s an okay actress, but she’s no Lea Seydoux or Jennifer Lawrence. Both those women would be great with Rob, and I like the idea of Emma Watson for him as well.

  15. bettyrose says:

How is this girl one of the highest paid people on earth? I know the glory days of Hollywood glamor are long gone, but even dressed up she’s less glamorous than your average 20something walking down the street.

  16. Katie says:

Yikes, why is there so much Kristen hostility here? Am I the only one who likes that she dresses however she wants without worrying about being “girly” or “pretty”? I don’t think she’s trying to be edgy or hardcore, I think she’s just being who she is. It would be far more suspect if she became polished and preened overnight, surely that would be her being fake? Lots of young people dress like this (including the denim shirt/sweater combo) and I’m sure her style will evolve as she gets older.

I just don’t get why there’s this knee-jerk hate reaction to her. What’s her crime? Not being girly enough? Not dressing how you want her to dress? Being a hipster? Hold the mini-coopering against her, but a lot of people have done a lot worse. I don’t mind Katy Perry (I’m a sucker for tweeny pop music) but she seems way more annoying than Kristen.

    • bettyrose says:

Katie – I can’t speak for everyone, but for myself I have no issue with her style. If she were a talented musician or an artsy indie film actress (yes, I know she has some indie film cred but nothing overly impressive), I would even love her look. But she’s a Megan Fox level actress with an Angelina Jolie level of paycheck. It’s hard to imagine what the universe was thinking with this one. She’s just so bland.

      • Emily C. says:

She’s “bland” for wearing jeans and a hoodie and sneakers when going out for coffee?

It’s like when people got all over Mila Kunis for wearing jeans and a sweatshirt and no makeup when walking her dogs in the early morning. I don’t understand what’s going on here, when women expect other women to always be dressed up and made up every second of every day, but it’s seriously disturbing to me. Trust me, those glamorous women of earlier eras weren’t “on” all the time either.

      • L says:

eh Mila doesn’t look greasy nor dirty.

      • Emily C. says:

Neither does Kristen, to me. Not any longer. I think she’s gotten over that stage.

    • Emily C. says:

      I don’t get it either.

Stewart’s hair does not look dirty whatsoever. It’s dark. Are people here so used to dyed blonde hair that actual brown hair always looks dirty to them? She’s wearing jeans and a hoodie. That’s not even a “hipster” outfit, it’s just a normal outfit that normal people wear all the time. And her friend is wearing something perfectly normal as well.

Does everyone here spend two hours getting ready, primping, doing their hair, making sure it’s properly bleached, before putting on designer clothing and $500 high heels to go for coffee? I just don’t understand anything they’re saying at all. I and every single person I have ever known, anywhere, would seriously offend their ludicrous fashion sensibilities, so I have to wonder where the heck they live.

      • Tig says:

OK out on a limb here- if you are trying to pull off the same look at 16 that you are at 23- that’s just off. You don’t have to be Chanel from head to toe to get coffee, but your style needs to reflect your maturity level. There are multiple ways to address casual that aren’t this-totally agree with the Avril comment. And dark hair looks dirty faster- another reason to tend to it.

      • Emily C. says:

I’m 36. I’m no longer allowed to wear jeans and a t-shirt and sweatshirt or hoodie because I wore them when I was a teenager? Heck, I wore them when I was 6.

I see women and girls of all ages wearing t-shirts and jeans *all the time*, thankfully, so I know I’m not nuts.

And I completely disagree about the dark hair comment.

      • Lemony says:

@Emily C: my original comment was about her hair, so I’m just gonna reiterate that: I have no problem with her clothes, I think jeans are hoodies are perfectly fine casual wear. I do not like her hair at all. Yes it looks dirty. If it looks dirty, it IS dirty. Most people can go for a few days walking around with “dirty” hair & no one would notice (depending on your hair texture, of course, i.e. I have thick natural curls & could prob only shampoo 2x/wk if I wanted to).
But we ALL know what it’s like when our hair gets to the point where it LOOKS dirty that is indeed visible to others, well then, yes IT IS dirty.
Also, the color is the other thing I don’t get. She had like 4 inches of roots at the Oscars, which was months ago, and now she’s got miles of roots because I guess she’s just growing out old Twilight color, rather than re-coloring it? It doesn’t look intentional either, like ombre color.
IDK, I’m just picky about hair. It’s a big part of your appearance, and, as women it’s one of our most noticed features.

      • oivey says:

You think that her hair looks like that because “it’s brown”. Do you know anyone who has brown hair? Seriously, google any brunette celebrity and you’ll see that’s not the case. Hell you can just google brown hair and still it’s the same. That’s not brown hair, that’s dirty hair.

    • L says:

she’s a terrible actress with airs of grandeur and a sh!t attitude. she has being in people’s face for 5+ years all the while saying she hates fame, attention oh and Papz that she absolutely does not call~
She had an affair with a married man all the while befriending his wife and children; then went into hiding as result, and then came out looking and acting unapologetic to some, even after using people mag to publicly apologize to the parties hurt on a private affair “I LOVE HIM, I LOVE HIM, I’M SO SORRY”.
Shit talks on other actresses calling them crazy and diminished that they put their designer used dresses up for charity auctions.
Makes tees and jeans look dirty and greasy. Wears glasses without needing them, but all the while stating that she’s the relz of them all up there in hollywoodz.

    • Cece says:

It’s her snarky attitude. She’s unprofessional on the red carpet and in interviews, and is one of the biggest hypocrites in Hollywood (and man, that’s saying something). She bad mouths other actors for failing to be genuine, and to me, she’s the biggest poser out there.

She’s just plain immature and unpleasant, and I think the clothing just feels like the outward expression of that.

    • pippa says:

Kristen is a Hypocrite of the highest order. That’s why people don’t care for her. I find the fact that she is a dimwit more offensive than anything else.

      • Emily C. says:

Okay, but what does that have to do with her clothes here?

This is one of the problems when people snark on other peoples’ looks. I call it splash damage, as I am a geek. You end up hitting people you didn’t intend to hit. There’s nothing wrong with Kristen’s outfit, or her friend’s, or their hair, etc., and by criticizing that, people criticize everyone who wears stuff like they wear. Kristen doesn’t see it and goes on her merry way, while I sit here going, “jeans and a t-shirt and hoodie are verboten?”

      • Anname says:

You sort of miss the point here I think. Everyone wears jeans and t-shirts, we all dress sloppy at times of course. Who cares if she is wearing that on a random coffee run. But with Kristen, she passes comfy casual and goes into disheveled, and does it at inappropriate times. When you reach a certain age, t-shirts with holes and ratty converse are probably not the best choice for having dinner out with friends, or at after-parties. It comes across as immature and I would say disrespectful. As someone said above, there are plenty of ways to dress comfortably, with your own style, and still be appropriate. It goes back to my other point too, people are willing to forgive stuff like this if it’s the one off thing. But with Kristen, it’s one of many.

      • gorda says:

        @Emily C
It has a lot to do with her clothes. She is a public figure. There is an expectation that she should look decent and portray a better image. People including myself find what she wears offensive because we expect more from someone in the public eye. Besides, she should really grow up. I used to dress like that when I was 14. At 18 my style is sophisticated. Her fans have grown up and so should she or they are going to leave her behind.

    • Anname says:

There are always the comments complaining that Kristen gets worse criticism than others who have cheated before, which is true in some ways. But I think this happens because she hits every unlikeable quality there is, for average movie goers. The bird flipping, the slovenly appearance (all the time!), the immature answers (“keep em guessing”), the difficult interviews, and then when you add the cheating on to that. She actively cultivates this difficult persona, but it doesn’t come off as edgy, just unpleasant. If that’s who she wants to be, fine, but she shouldn’t be surprised that she wins worst-celebrity polls. From the bits we see, she is really stuck in an immature place.

Rob on the other hand, I find to be all charm. He can get away with a lot because most people find him either likeable or harmless. The worst thing he seems to have done is make fun of Twilight (which actually probably made people like him more). He really did outgrow her.

      • Pastyousayyouneverknew says:

+1 Anname – you always come out with the best comments girl!

      • Anname says:

Well great minds think alike, right?

      • *unf* Joan Jett says:

I learned that in USA there are basically no laws to protect celebrities from paparazzis, but the famous folks can protect themselves by flipping the bird because those kind of photographs can not be sold to news papers and magazines.

    • jojo says:

I don’t like her because of her attitude. she always comes off as being ungrateful. not to mention she always puts her foot in her mouth. calling fans retards, saying getting papped is like being raped, not to mention she blamed her teachers in school for not making the effort to help her while she was out making movies. her ego has also grown in the past year or two.

    • Jennifer12 says:

I don’t care about how she dresses or looks, but her attitude sucks: spoiled, entitled, bratty, rude. She’s getting paid to do a dream job and she whines and complains and acts like a victim. She is ALWAYS the victim in her mind. Mean paps, catching her in an affair with a married man (with whose wife and kids she cultivated a relationship- nice). Rotten paps, taking her photograph all the time, which she called being raped. Raped! Crap teachers, who didn’t help her enough when she was making movies. Passive aggressive digs at other actresses. If you just watch film with Rob, even when they were together, you shake your head, going, “That’s how you act toward someone you LOVE?” I think Rob saw her as this intense, cool rebel at first, and then it just got old, especially after she was caught with a married director. She is not intense or cool or particularly talented, but she’s won this amazing lotto and she spits on it as though she’s suffering when half the world is struggling to make ends meet.

  17. DEB says:

    This is news?? o.O

    • Source says:

When the story is that she’s sitting at home curled in a little ball weeping over the remnants of her sparkly relationship, then we get pics of her smiling and laughing with her friends in the bright sunshine, it’s news.

  18. Source says:

Nobody finds Kristen distasteful JUST for the clothes or JUST for the flipping off or JUST for the dirtiness or JUST for the cheating.

As is pointed out by Kristen fans ad-nauseum, other actors/actresses do all of the above. It’s nothing new.

And that’s what her fans love to do. Take one aspect of her personality/look that is talked about and ask why we find it all so distasteful when others do it as well. What? JLaw flips the bird on occasion. What? Kristen’s just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. She’s so REAL.

But the thing is, it’s the whole package. It’s the whole ungrateful, bitchy, hypocritical package.

She’s either the girl who eschews all the trappings of being a star, or she’s not. But she talks out of both sides of her mouth.

People say, “Oh, poor Kristen. Why is everyone so mean to her? She’s just so real and honest!”

    No, she’s not.

And if you’re looking for “vitriol” take a look at what her fans say not only to the “nonnies” but to any shipper who dares to say they might not be together. They are cursed at and called names and blocked. Others have been threatened physically.

At this point most people dislike the fans more than they do her, because they’re just as hypocritical.

    • Janet says:

I must be hopelessly out of the loop. What is a nonnie and what is a shipper?

      • Source says:

        Sorry.

A “nonnie” is what they call anyone who doesn’t “ship” Robsten.

A “shipper” is a general term for someone who “ships” two people, as in wanting them to be in a relationship, whether in real life or in a TV show.

      • Tig says:

From what I have been able to figure out- a “nonnie” doesn’t believe they have had a relationship, or at best a PR one, while a “shipper” thought a wedding would happen any minute. Will defer to others who know more/better.

      • Janet says:

@Tig: I’m hopeless at Twi-speak. Thanks for clearing that up.

      • pippa says:

To add more to your education –

“Nonnie” is derived from “Nonsten” – that are those that don’t (didn’t) believe Robsten was real.

        😆

  19. Tig says:

@ Annanme- you are spot on. Still stand by dark hair comment-BTW. If you are blessed with dark hair that is on the dry side- good for you!!

  20. AustinMJ says:

Honestly, I dont know anyone who dresses that poorly. Kstewie’s friend is wearing a chambray button down with a stupid sweatshirt, running shorts and a trucker hat? Do they expect us to believe they get dressed in the dark? Or that they are so hardcore that they just grab “whatever” and put it on? Is this “hipster apathy”?
    WTH? someone please explain.

  21. Isa says:

Say something nice- she looks like she has showered recently.

  22. TG says:

So I guess she guess she called these paps since she didn’t feel the need to flip them off. She is so transparent.

Oh and I finally got around to watching the last episode of Twilight and couldn’t get thru even 15 minutes of it. It was so horrible. The acting by everyone, especially Kristen, was awful and the script as well. I loved the first movie, cheese and all. The others I only saw once no need to ever see again.

  23. Claire says:

I know its not a popular opinion, but when she pulls herself together she can look awesome. She can be so super pretty! I can stomach Kristen a million times over Miranda Kerr

  24. Original A says:

I don’t get it. Why is there a story about her walking around with a friend? Her PR obviously isn’t leaking shit to Hollywoodlife, because they had her painted as a hot mess who isn’t working. In reality, she has two films with financing lined up and is smiling and out and about with friends. I can buy that she set those pap photos up, but they directly contradict Hollywoodlife so we know they are saying bullshit and aren’t working with her PR team.

I guess I don’t get the drama. They’ve been broken up a month. Both seem fine. People, US Weekly, and E! Online (the more reputable tabs) had nothing super dramatic or scandalous to say about their break-up. She’s been papped a couple of times, but not that much. It just seems like this whole thing is getting really old, considering it’s been a month. People need to let this one go.

    • Original A says:

To clarify, it just seems like beating a dead horse to keep talking about the ended relationship. I read People, US, and E! fairly regularly and they aren’t really mentioning it. She may be calling the paps on occasion (I doubt every time she goes out she calls the paps, but on this occasion it does look set up), but her PR is obviously not talking to Hollywood Life or any tabloid that says she is depressed…because the planned photo-ops directly contradict that. Just seems very white bread.

      • pippa says:

I am thinking Katy is involved in a round about way. She has the same publicist as KS. IF there is something going on with Rob then Ruth (Katy/KS’ publicist) has to protect both. Hence no drama. Otherwise KS would have thrown Rob under the bus. And we are seeing a lot of John Mayer suddenly.
        Coincidence? I don’t know.

      • Original A says:

@Pippa…You are probably right. The timing and the pulling off that article on People, plus that photo of John that was supposedly at Katy’s house…where he was in a parking lot with two other non luxury cars…seemed off. John goes on tour next month, so he probably sees it as free PR.

I’m more puzzled at the posters on here who are acting like KStew and RPattz must be one-upping each other or that KStew is one step from rehab, etc or believing Hollywood Life when the photos contradict that and the more reputable tabloids are leaving them alone. Granted, I know some of the posters on here get very stan like…but it’s way easier to buy that they were either PR, or two people who tried to work past a cheating incident last year and it failed due to work commitments, age, maybe another woman trying to get in there, etc…which is what People/US Weekly/E!/TMZ basically said.

  25. Lana says:

What a hypocrite. Calling others out for not being genuine and fake but calls paps to portray how over she is about her break up so that people can see how ~strong she is. Ugh, she’s like a hipster reese Witherspoon. Always prepped for a photo op and playing victim or spewing out excuses.

  26. Hmm says:

OH TO BE a twentysomething with no job, no worries, no responsibilities, and a credit card with virtually no limit! Walk around, go out to lunch, buy sh!t, go to dinner, walk around, buy more sh!t, go for coffee, go to sleep in your mansion, wakeup, REPEAT!
    What a life…

    • Source says:

You’d think someone with that kind of life would look…happier.

      • Original A says:

I think the point is that both seem fine. She finally landed two jobs and one has distribution already, and he has like 3 films and already wrapped one. The tabloids really don’t care that much about them anymore, People, US, etc. don’t even mention the break up for the most part. It’s just Hollywood Life milking the last bit of hits out of the crazed Twi-Hards, RPattz stans, and KStew stans…it’s obviously not her publicist, because there wouldn’t be the occasional stage happy photo if her publicist was leaking “she’s so sad” stories. It’s just kind of super old at this point.

  27. Redd says:

She looks like wasted Teen Mom 2 Jenelle Evans.

  28. Bread and Circuses says:

I love how expressive and engaging her friend’s face is. That, Kristen, is how you emote.

  29. xxx says:

You know, I always get distracted by the greasy hair, but her skin is amazing…
