Late last week we heard that a man had filed a paternity suit claiming to have slept with Kourtney Kardashian around the time her oldest child Mason was conceived. Male model Michael Girgenti, stage name “Premo Stallone,” claimed to have had unprotected sex with Kourtney after they did a modeling shoot together, about nine months before Mason was born. Michael made these claims to multiple press outlets, starting when Mason was a newborn. Apparently he’s been trying to get Kourtney’s attention for years and only resorted to a paternity suit when Kourtney refused to respond to him. Kourtney has always maintained that her partner, Scott Disick, is Mason’s father.
Star Magazine (via Radar) has obtained a letter that Michael sent Kourtney in April. It was an ultimatum begging her to submit Mason for a DNA test so he could determine if he was Mason’s father. He said that he didn’t want to break up her family, but that “Mason deserves to know the truth.” He also said he would take the issue to court if she didn’t respond, which is exactly what he did:
Before he slapped her with a paternity lawsuit, the male model claiming to be the father of Kourtney Kardashian‘s son Mason wrote an impassioned letter in which he begged the reality star to submit the three-year-old to a DNA test, RadarOnline.com has learned.
In the missive — dated April 23 — Michael Girgenti threatened Kourtney, 34, that if she failed to meet his demand, he would be forced to ask the courts to intervene.
“My attentions [sic] are not to hurt the family you’ve created with Scott [Disick],” wrote Girgenti, who last week filed paperwork in a Los Angeles court asking for joint custody of Mason Dash Disick. “But at the same time, Mason deserves to know the truth.”
The 26-year-old handsome model — who has claimed that he had unprotected sex with Kourtney nine months before Mason was born — went on to profess his love of family and announce his plans to take care of his would-be child.
“I assure you I don’t take being a father lightly,” he noted in the letter, obtained by Radar. “I will be a great father to Mason.”
“Please take this final request for a DNA test seriously,” he concluded, adding: “Because if you don’t, I will be forced to take legal action and sue.”
In an exclusive interview with Star magazine, Michael explained his intentions behind the letter.
“This is Kourtney’s last chance,” he said, earlier this year. “My next step will be to take her to court and sue her for a paternity test. I’m tired of not knowing if Mason is my child and I want the constant wondering to end.”
Indeed, it will: A hearing for the case was set by a judge for later in August.
In response to Michael’s claims, Kourtney’s lawyer said that he’s out for money, basically. “This individual has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years about Kourtney Kardashian and her son, Mason. Scott Disick is Mason’s father. We have not seen the reported court filing, but we are informed that this individual has been seeking to get paid to publish his ridiculous pleading. His claims are absurd and this is simply another shameful attempt to gain publicity and profit from fictional stories about my client.”
So Michael sent Kourtney this letter on April 23. He already had gone to the tabloids several times, most recently in March when he scored the cover of In Touch demanding a DNA test and pleading “I just want to meet my son.”
Kourtney basically had two options: ignore the guy and try to discredit him, or submit Mason to a DNA test, thereby admitting she slept with Michael and that he could be the father. Whether he’s the father or not, giving in to him would bring her a lot of bad publicity. I mean it would have been the right thing to do if she thought it was a possibility, but she also would have had to deal with a media sh*tstorm. That’s not to say that Michael doesn’t deserve to spend time with his son, if Mason is his son, just that I understand why Kourtney waited. It’s not like Michael contacted her privately and tried to keep it under wraps. He was talking to the tabloids from the moment Mason was born.

I question his motives since he involved the tabloids. There was no need to involve them if he truly believes he is the father. Why would he send a handwritten letter in April of this year to Kourtney about Mason? Mason is 3 years old.

He could’ve contacted them, and when that failed, gone straight to the courts. No need to wait three years and go to the tabloids multiple times.
Court is expensive, and the Kardashians have a lot of money at their disposal to drag proceedings out, thereby making court not a viable option for someone of lesser means. I’m not saying this model guy’s done the right thing here, but I understand why he’s gone this route.
I work with someone whose husband is friends with this guy. When they asked him about this situation, he laughed and said he doesn’t really believe he’s the father, and this is just for publicity. I found it pretty disgusting, and asked why they’d even be friends with someone who would do that. They all think it’s a big joke. Ugh.
If there’s any celebrity who can’t complain about someone going to the tabloids, it’s the Kardashians. They wouldn’t exist without tabloids (and porn).

Would it really cause a media shitstorm? Are people actually shocked by this story? It seems like only TMZ, Radaronline and US Weekly would care enough, because they survive on Kardashian stories, and they often collaborate with the family.

The model doesn’t look good here by going to the tabloids, but Kourtney isn’t clean either. She chose to drag this mess out by not responding, and by stalling it’s practically admitting there’s some truth to this. She should have shut this down at the first accusation. Kourtney won’t look good if she’s ordered to submit Mason to a DNA test. The storm will come if the test proves Disick is NOT the father. The Kardashian brand will take a nasty hit; for no one will forgive harm of any kind to a child.
Why should she have to submit her kid to a paternity test to placate this guy? All that is going to do is inspire a generation of Premo Stallones to come out of the woodwork and claim they are the father of her kids.

I think it’s entirely possble that the new guy is the child’s father- look at those eyes and eyebrows. We’ll know the truth if the guy suddenly does away quietly- he got paid off. It is NOT a big deal to do a DNA test- if you had unprotected sex with someone and 9 monthes later, there’s a baby born? Well it is possible for the baby and Mason to look alike since they have the same mother.
His claims are not that far fetched since Kourtney is not denying that she slept with him. If he is the father I think it’s best he finds out now. We don’t want that little boy to go through what Khloe had to go through years later after finding out Robert K. was not her biological father.

But also take a look at Scott’s eyes and eyebrows – they’re really not much different from Mason’s either. I agree it’s possible, but I think the kid looks like Scott. Mason has a slight cleft in his chin like Scott as well.
I think in these days, knowing all that goes into genetics, the fact that there are still people comparing eyebrows and earlobes to say that one party has a paternity claim is a hoot! Kourtney just needs to have Scott submit to a paternity test (if he hasn’t already), and when/if the results are that he is Mason’s dad, send them to this guy post haste.
I really hope Scott is the father rather than this model flake. But there’s a photo on Radar Online today comparing this Michael as a child side by side with Mason. Their ears are identical. The only hope is the resemblance between Mason and Penelope but that could be from Kourtney’s side.

Why on earth would he pay child support? She denies he’s even the father. Plus he’s asking for joint child custody. Generally speaking, if there is a sole custodial guardian the other parent pays support.

Texas- the Birkhead situation was completely different. The mother was dead and the daughter’s custody was in dispute. In this case, mom is very much alive and Scott has very publically accepted Mason as his offspring and mom agrees. There is no way to prove the model here ever actually made a sperm donation in a one night stand except by a forced DNA test (over the objections of both mom and the man the child has called dad for three years), and calling the model her “ex” is quite a stretch. They didn’t have an established long term relationship. If she weren’t rich, I suspect this guy’s paternal urges would vanish. In any case, it’s a nasty thing to do to a child.
These are not nice people and I just don’t understand what it will take for the public who keeps them going to wake up to this point? So just do it, give the guy his DNA test so he either goes away not a father or everyone knows the truth. But I think that is the scary part to Kourtney…the truth.

Meh, gotta disagree – they use those kids plenty for publicity and don’t strike me as people who do anything to protect their kids. They’re happy to put all of their personal business on display for future humiliation of those kids. And there is an easy solution that doesn’t involve the model – get the paternity test done with Scott, it’s his, end of story. Letting it drag out and letting stories accumulate seems to me much more harmful for the kid than a simple test.
Yep, if they’d done the DNA test when he first requested it — even before Mason’s birth — this would all be over and done with.
So, Kourtney either had the test done years ago (and is now using this sh*t storm to promote the show as well as all the other krap the family sells) or she’s afraid to do the test (because she knows there’s a good chance that he’s the father).
In either case, she’s been stringing this guy along (I think he genuinely wants to know and she’s been stonewalling him) and completely ignoring Mason’s best interests (the kid is going to get hurt one way or another — either by having been kept from his biological father or by needlessly having his paternity questioned, which he is going to find out when he’s older).
And don’t forget school…you don’t think someone in his class is not going to taunt him about this? Cyber-bullying is a possibility too.

If Scott does turn out to be Mason’s father, many will continue to question his paternity the rest of his life.
If the test shows that Michael is the father, he’s lost out on Mason’s first three years of life, time that he fought to spend with him.
I’ve lost a lot of respect for Kourtney for putting her child — as well as past and present lovers — through the wringer like this.

My guess is that it was Scott that demanded a paternity test when Mason was born to ensure this rumor wasn’t true. Scott doesn’t need to be with her for money– his family is loaded in their own right. I’d bet that Mason’s paternity was established when he was born, his dad is Scott, and that’s why they have ignored this guy from the beginning.
Which then begs the question as to why they allowed this to continue for three years? And the answer to that is that they’re ignorant publicity seekers. Anyone else with that kind of money would have squashed this from the beginning.

I admit to watching snippets of their show up to the time of her pregnancy with Mason. I just got tired of the shallowness and general stupidity of the whole lot of them. She was on the outs with Scott and partying at the time, if I recall correctly.
I do think it’s possible the model is the father and hope she has DNA confirmation simply for the child’s health (to be aware of any generic / hereditary factors). Think of the child’s best interest, not the ‘brand’.
Could have saved herself the drama & had a paternity test done with Scott. No one would have to know & she could privately shut this guy down. Instead, it’s out & this guy will probably get his day in court.

Why let this guy call the shots? Mason has a father and his name is Scott Disick. Just because Model Boy had a one night fling doesn’t entitle him to take over a kid’s life. The law lets a woman take a man to court for child support only because the government 1) wants to discourage throwing sperm around without intending to have children and 2) doesn’t want to support the family financially if the woman can’t. Mom puts in 9 months, sperm donor puts in one second. The math is pretty clear. Really, if a man wants to be a dad he had better do more than just donate some sperm. And get a contract, boys. If a child already is acknowledged as the son of a man who has had a long-term relationship with his mom before and after conception and that man is already on the birth certificate and is not questioning his paternity – why would any judge force a DNA test on the child for another guy?!? Really. Is that even possible legally? Kourtney and Scott have been together so long they might be considered common-law spouses. Usually DNA tests are ordered under very different circumstances – when a guy is disputing being identified by the mother as the father (or possible father). I would assume Scott would be the only one who could get a legally mandated DNA test on Mason. Can anybody come along and claim sperm donorship of any kid like this?!? It seems rather unsettling, to say the least.
