Kris Jenner & Bruce will divide $60-$70 million in assets, keep their own jewelry

Yesterday we talked about Kris and Bruce Jenner filing for divorce after 23 years without using lawyers. It seems like their split is amicable, that they agreed on terms ahead of time and that they’re not wasting time or money fighting over the details. At least that’s the version that TMZ is reporting, and it seems to be the official one. TMZ reports that the couple has agreed to a 50% split of approximately $60 million in joint assets, that Kris will get to keep the mansion and that Bruce gets the country club membership. Radar claims that Kris will get $50 million in cash and Bruce will get $20 million, which sounds more likely to me. I read through the divorce documents on Radar and the exact amounts of cash in the various accounts aren’t specified.

Radar has more details of exactly what they’re splitting. Kris gets to keep certain cars, Bruce gets to keep his cars and motorcycle, and Kris gets all the furniture and decor in their home. They each hold on to their credit card points and airline miles, and they each get to keep their respective clothing, jewelry and watches. There’s also an “equalization payment” in which Kris will pay Bruce $2.5 million over the next year. She’ll pay him $1.5 million immediately, half a million in December and another half million in June. This is described as part of a “tax free division of community property.” Neither is seeking spousal or child support and they’ll share custody and expenses for their only minor child, Kylie, 17.

The documents note that the divorce is uncontested by either party. But that doesn’t mean it’s uncomplicated.

According to the court documents obtained by Radar, Kris wants “all monies in checking, savings, money market and investment accounts” that are under her name. As Radar has reported, she and Bruce had separate accounts for years.

She also wants her 2012 Rolls Royce Ghost, 2014 Bentley CV, 2014 Land Rover Range Rover, and the couple’s Hidden Hills home, as Radar exclusively reported earlier today. According to the documents, Bruce will “promptly” transfer his claim on the house to her.

Kris also wants claim to “all partnerships and business interests” in her name, and “any and all intellectual property created by” her, including “movies, television series, stories, scripts,” and more. Kris is the creator and Executive Producer, along with Ryan Seacrest, of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spin-offs.

She’s also going after “any and all” credit card points, airline rewards miles under her name, as well as “furniture, furnishings, artwork, appliances, and wedding gifts,” plus all of her “clothing, cash, personal effects,” jewelry, watches, and all income that she earned after their separation date, June 1, 2013.

Bruce isn’t walking away empty handed, however. Kris has offered him 50% of their joint checking, savings, and money market and investment accounts. He also will get the 2011 Porsche 997 coupe, 2013 Cadillac Escalade, 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Like Kris, he wants rights to all his credit card points and miles, as well as rights to any business interests and intellectual property he created.

Also, the divorce is uncontested and the documents state that they both agree on the division in assets. So that’s it, once a judge signs off Kris and Bruce will be divorced and will split up their stuff. (I’m sure Kris planned for it and squirreled away money, but if Bruce is ok with it I guess that’s all that matters.) Only their youngest daughters, Kylie, 17, and Kendall, 18, may be taking it somewhat hard. Kendall Instagrammed a retro pic of her parents and Kylie posted a poem about finding oneself before entering into a relationship or something. It’s got to be hard to see your parents divorce, even if you’re at the tail end of your teens.

Radar has a follow-up story that Keeping Up With The Kardashians may be in jeopardy following Kris and Bruce’s divorce. Their current contract with E! ends after the tenth season, to air next year. (KUWTK has been on the air since 2007.) It reads like a speculative piece to me, there are so many Kardashians and Jenners that I doubt Bruce’s departure (if he decides to leave the show, he may stay on) will affect much. Plus Kris may just renegotiate the contract, as she’s done to date. There are so many spin off shows that I doubt KUWTK is coming to an end anytime soon.

When it comes to to this family, TMZ is the least reliable. Harvey and #2 loooooove them.

  2. Nicolette says:

So will she be keeping her cauldron, broom and spell book then?

  3. decorative item says:

I just can’t believe I live in a world where these people have that much money.

  4. Cherry says:

I love the detail that they both get to keep their own credit card points and airline miles. Ah, rich people. they’re just like us.

  5. Charlotte says:

I quite like Kris’s old (yet still unoriginal) face.

Hope Bruce is happy and can live his life with some peace after this.

    • Penelope says:

She really was a naturally pretty woman but yeah, even then it’s obvious she’d already had work done.

    • Jen34 says:

I have always thought that none of Kris’s children are as beautiful as she. Of course , I am talking about external beauty.

  6. Hazel says:

If I knew I could earn this much pimping my daughters, I would have breed ages ago.

  7. Candy Love says:

I think someone hit the nail on the head yeasterday when they said that this divorce will be a peaceful one because they both have too much dirt on each other.

  8. kri says:

Bruce Jenner-Born To Run. Congrats on your freedom!

  9. Jaderu says:

I wonder who has to take Kanye at Thanksgiving?

  10. Fernanda says:

He was a very handsome man IMO.

  11. lisa2 says:

Good that they can be adult about the split.

E is not going to let the show go anywhere. They support it in every way possible. I haven’t watched ENews in couple of weeks because of their daily Kardashian reports. They debunk any tabloid rumor. Every story is OVER THE TOP positive. They give a Kardashain report on every member every day. It has become so obvious and sad, I don’t care if they support their shows, but they spend too much of the show talking about the family. It is sickening.

  12. swack says:

What a difference in Bruce’s looks between the picture on Kendall’s Instagram and the last picture. He really did ruin what was a very handsome face.

  13. Feebee says:

I don’t know why the keeping their own jewelry makes me laugh, like how much does he have? But credit card points and airline miles? I don’t know that sounds so…. Can’t find the word. Redundant? I guess you can tell I haven’t been through a divorce, maybe it all has to be written down.

    • PrincessMe says:

Don’t forget that they get to keep their own clothes as well. *scratches head*

As opposed to what? They share all the clothes down the middle?

      • Mixtape says:

Their respective wardrobes could include furs and designer pieces that are quite valuable. If the divorce were contested, the judge would have them sell the clothing and split the proceeds down the middle.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

The airline miles made me laugh, too. 50 million, but don’t you dare take away my frequent flyer miles. Ok.

      • Lex says:

Hmmmmm no depending on the airline, having more points can get you into lounges and such. These people fly a lot so they could be very valuable

  14. TheOneandOnlyOnly says:

Some may not remember but the late John Belushi on old SNL did an hilarious spoof of Bruce Jenner’s Olympic days sitting at a table and explaining his training methods as smoking cigs – which he was doing – and eating chocolate donuts- while footage was played of a paunchy Belushi in a track outfit attempting to high jump and throw a javelin. It was an hilarious spoof, and how I prefer to remember Bruce Jenner – not as this caricature of a human being.

    • Jaderu says:

I remember it. It was one of my favorite Belushi skits. Little chocolate donuts…the donuts of champions. LOL

    • Jen34 says:

I do remember that. I also remember watching Bruce in the Olympics. He was such a stand out athlete.

      • TheOneandOnlyOnly says:

Thanks for the reply posters, Ah, back in the day – shows you what an impression those old Snl skits made – we still remember them – wonder if the same will happen with a lot of today’s pop culture products?

  15. TheCountess says:

Whatever hastens the downfall of the Kardashian name in popular culture, I’m down with. Hopefully Bruce is free to write a tell-all and sink this miserable ship.

  16. SFRowGuy says:

That’s all fine and good, but we all want to know what’s really important … who gets the Stylist?

  17. I can’t believe im actually going to side with Kris Jenner on this BUT I can see why Bruce wouldn’t protest, for one he doesn’t seem like he’s all into the money anymore. Maybe in his glory days when he was an Olympian but then he lost it and maybe he realized some things are more important than 50 cars. And two he really can’t deny that Kris took him from bankruptcy to a $60m.

I CANNOT stand this women but I will say her business sense is on point. She made her family rich, a family of people that posses no other skills than plastic surgery addicts and clothes horses. They contribute nothing to society. They can’t act, they can’t sing, they’re famous for being famous and yet just one of them is worth $60m. Who knows how much they’re worth combined.

  18. Brionne says:

They were socialites because the original dad Robert Kardashian was a very successful LA lawyer. They were already rich. Just like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie and all the. Housewives variations….They show America the lifestyle of socialites and jet setters. Kim’s sex tape took off and made them even more famous. So they aren’t famous for absolutely nothing…It’s just that the Vanderbilt, Rockefellers, Ford’s, Waltons don’t care to offer a peek into their world via reality tv.

    • Bridget says:

Robert Kardashian was successful, but he and Kris had been divorced for many years at that point and Bruce Jenner was terrible at managing his money. The family was comfortable, but their claim to fame wasn’t money so much as tabloid notoriety. Kardashian was a well known name after the Simpson trial, and Kim was well known around the nightlife.

Also, the Rick Hilton family was nowhere near as wealthy as people assume with the Hilton name. There were so many descendants of Conrad Hilton, and then of course most of the money that would have been inherited was eventually donated to charity. Rick Hilton made a nice living selling high end real estate, but again we’re not talking abo just t the spectacular wealth that people assume. Paris however used her famous last name and hit the NY social scene HARD and at a very young age. She was very well known as a party girl and hung around with any famous person she could find, with the wholehearted support of her mother who very, very much wanted the fame. Even now, Paris’ s fortune is what she amassed herself.

Lionel Richie on the other hand is loaded.

  19. MediaMaven says:

who gets to keep the plastic surgeon?

  20. derpshooter says:

So, if the other person in the divorce gets the county club membership, does that mean that I’m allowed to just go purchase my own (after bribing my way off the waiting list, obviously)? Or does it work like a temporary restraining order and I’m NOT allowed to be in the country club for a certain amount of time? (I’m not trying to make light of TROs given the Sarah Hyland news, by the way, it’s the best analogy I could think of.)

  21. Amazon says:

I hate the kardashians !!! I’m so happy for Bruce , he honestly doesn’t know the grace he has been given !
