Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart out and about with Alicia Cargile and some friends on Sunday in LA. Kristen was in New York all last week, promoting Camp X-Ray and Clouds of Sils Maria. Kristen also partied – undercover but not-so-secretly – with Nicholas Hoult. Hoult seems to have come out specifically for his friend and Equals costar Kristen, which led some people to wonder if they were in fact “secretly dating.” My question was more like “are they bros with benefits?” I think Kristen and Nicholas probably have a very bro-y relationship which could totally include some hooking up. Hoult would be the first solid “boy rumor” that Kristen has gotten since her split with Sparkles.
But the rumors about Kristen and Alicia Cargile persist. I have to give Kristen a lot of credit here, and you know how she’s not even my favorite person. But I like that she doesn’t give a crap about the incessant and long-standing rumors that she’s gay. Those rumors have been around for so many years, back when the Twihards were mad that Robert Pattinson got together with a girl wearing sneakers and jeans instead of heels and miniskirts. Kristen knows that there are lots of stories about her relationship with Alicia in particular, but K-Stew doesn’t care. She’s still going to publicly hang out with her girlfriends, and she doesn’t give a crap if she’s photographed with Alicia in particular.
Now, are they dating? I have no idea. If they are, God bless and I wish them well. I think Kristen’s aim at this point in her life, post-Twilight and post-Mini Coopering, is to play her personal life closer to the vest. No more public declarations of love, no more chatting about her boyfriend/girlfriend in interviews. At least that seems to be her current phase.

Um… aren’t skinny jeans supposed to look like that? Skin-tight? At least, mine all do. Which is no indicator of anything more than I’m a fashion-marketer’s wet dream and struggling to let go of my Top Shop obsession despite approaching middle age. Can’t say I’ve been experiencing any nasty itching, however. So that’s something.
I wear skinny jeans too because they are way more comfortible than regular jeans because of the spandex. It’s like wearing leggings. I’ve been wearing them for years and knock wood, I’ve never had a yeast infection. I find it’s always the ones who don’t actually wear them that seem to think skinny jeans automatically = chronic yeast infection. Whatever.

I wear skinny jeans and they shouldn’t pull around the zipper area like the jeans that KS wears. I have to agree with Abbott and PunkyMomma; KS needs to just go ahead and get a larger size in her omni-present jeans.

She doesn’t ping my anything to be honest. She’s young and whatever her sexual orientation is, it can still fluctuate heavily. Her having sexual relationships with men doesn’t mean she’s not lesbian/bi and her having close friends who are lesbian (amongst many other remarks) doesn’t make her lesbian – this is the logic of some people, not aimed at you 🙂

I doubt it – Hoult hasn’t been the type to get overly precious about his relationship status. When he and Lawrence got back together it was pretty easily confirmed, they never hid it. And why would the guy who struggled with the scrutiny that came with dating Jennifer Lawrence turn around and date someone who has such a tabloid presence that it would necessitate keeping the relationship a secret?

It always feels weird when someone makes a statement just to deny gay rumors. Like it’s something that you need to shoot down.

I thought the daily mail reported that in Vanity Fair she denied she and Alicia were dating. I’m not sure if that’s accurate, but that’s what they said.
Don’t think Kristen and Alicia are dating. I just never got that vibe. They’ve been friends for years, long before she and Rob broke up.
As for Hoult, I am not sure what to think. He’s another one who has known Kristen for a while — he was pictured at her birthday party last year. They had a press conference in Japan to promote Equals as it kicked off filming, and I swear they looked like they were straight-up eye f***ing. Super flirty, and they were the same in their joint ice bucket challenge video. Either they’ve got a really good natural chemistry or they’re reaaaalllly selling it. Or, of course, there’s actually something between them. They just wrapped their movie and then both were in NYC promoting their respective movies. Hoult didn’t only go to her premiere of Sils Maria — he was also at the Camp X-Ray premiere a couple of nights before that. They were certainly spending a lot of time together when they were off-set during their shoot, but they seem to have carried that over. They could just be good friends. Not sure what to think…
