Did Taylor Swift get Jessica Hart kicked off the Victoria’s Secret show?

wenn21978176

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift at last night’s Victoria’s Secret runway show in London. I think this is the first time the show is in London? I’m sorry, English people. I mean, good for you guys, you’ve got a lot of hot, lingerie-clad supermodels in your city, but I’m sorry that the annual Christmas lingerie show somehow got exported to your shores. It’s all so crass and gauche.

Anyway, for the second year in a row, Taylor Swift was invited to perform during the show. And just like last year, VS got Swifty all dolled up in some fancy britches. I’ll admit it, it’s really weird to see Swifty in lingerie, even old-fashioned lingerie, singing her breakup songs. Interestingly enough, Victoria’s Secret was really pleased with Swifty’s performance last year, and they would do anything to get her to perform at this year’s show. “Anything” includes letting Swifty dictate some terms. After last year’s show, model Jessica Hart threw some major shade at Swifty, telling reporters: “God bless her heart. I think she’s great. But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.” So, guess who wasn’t invited to this year’s show?

Taylor Swift couldn’t shake this one off. The singer returned to perform at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show this year under one condition — that top VS model Jessica Hart stay far from the sparkling runway at Earl’s Court in London.

“It’s not been announced that Jessica is not walking, but it was a direct request from Taylor that this be the case if she were to go,” one well-placed Victoria’s Secret insider tells Confidenti@l. “No one can know that Taylor requested Ms. Hart not be in the show. They want to keep that under wraps, but that’s the facts.”

Our source says that behind closed doors the singer gave Hart a Swift kick in her perfectly sculpted butt. Taylor had her team remove the Australian stunner from the spectacular show during talks that again landed Swift the coveted gig at the massive show.

After last year’s production in New York, Hart took what was perceived as a dig at the “Blank Slate” singer, saying: “God bless her (Taylor Swift) heart. I think she’s great. But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.”

[From The NYDN]

Ha, I totally believe this. And let’s face it – Swifty could easily get Jessica Hart pushed off the show because Jessica Hart isn’t a major VS model, like Doutzen Kroes or Adriana Lima or Candice Swanepoel. No one really cared if Hart got the gig. So it was probably an easy request for the organizers to accommodate for Swifty. However… it does show that despite her “transition” to a more mature life outlook, Swifty can still hold a major grudge. I wonder if she wrote a song about Jessica Hart?

  1. Talie says:

I’d feel bad for Jessica, but Google her and then you won’t. Too much drama, plus I don’t like that she tried to start trouble with one of my fav models Natasha Poly.

    • Senaber says:

Yeah more likely VS considered Hart a liability because of all the gum-flapping over Taylor. I wish I did believe that Taylor got her kicked off! A little bitchiness makes everyone more interesting.

    • Juliette says:

Jessica Hart said something really dumb and she said it publicly. Swift is harmless, but I’m sure her handlers and PR people wouldn’t let an insult like that go unchecked. I think this all happened behind the scenes, by the “powers that be” – but it was inevitable. Once the gauntlet was thrown down by Hart, there had to be some blow back from Swift.

    • Booklion says:

I’m not a fan of Jessica either, but she has a foot injury right now. She has a large burn or something on her foot and isn’t able to model right now – according to an article on her that I read a few weeks ago. I quite like the idea of diva Taylor but I wouldn’t say it is entirely true, based on the pictures of Jessica with her injury.

      • Tiffany :) says:

I saw a picture of the burns…and they look really painful and awful! Her whole ankle was raw, exposed, like giant popped blisters.

    • Pumpkin Pie says:

      What happened exactly?

    • Priya says:

I think Taylor tends to win everybody over, and I’m not sure she would do stuff like that unless Hart was being a major jerk or distraction.

Also dissing your employer’s decisions? Talking badly about a show/suggesting it wasn’t great or that the main entertainer was a poor fit? Not a good idea, Jess.

  2. Jessica says:

That second outfit…is she trying to get people talking about her weird Posh Spice circa 2002 boob job? Because otherwise I feel like you’d put that bra on, realize it makes your boobs look faker than fake, and find something that doesn’t make you want to sue your plastic surgeon.

    • L says:

Well swifty got bolt ons a few years back-so it’s no surprise to me that they look fake in all these outfits. Mostly because they are fake.

    • Ellen says:

I’m surprised by this, too. These photos are the first I’ve seen where the hard line of the bolt-ons is SO obvious, and I thought Swift was going to pretty great lengths (in terms of her clothing choices) to avoid confirming that she had the work done.

      • moomoo says:

I don’t know. I wear a 32B and if you push up my real boobs enough they seem to get a hard line.

      • Veronica says:

moomoo – Are you wearing a strapless bra, though, when you get that effect? That’s more what made me raise my eyebrow here with the minidress. I was a 36B for awhile, and I could only get that effect with an intense push up from a full bra. A strapless just can’t get that amount of hoist to me.

Granted, there’s nothing wrong if she did have breast augmentation. It’s her body, her choice. But it is off-putting if she’s BSing about the fact that she didn’t have one because that’s just deceptive, particularly given the age and gender of her biggest fanbase demographic.

    • M.A.F. says:

At least I’m not the only one noticed. You couldn’t really tell before those pictures came out, now you for sure can. She also has no butt.

      • We Are All Made of Stars says:

Yeah, she’s really working not only the VS bolt-on look here, but also the Sedan tan. Does anyone remember back in the day when Swift staged a series of pictures of her shopping for mega foam padded push-up bras at VS so her stans would then believe that her boob job never happened? Vintage gossip! 🙂

      • Sugar says:

Wow! Terrible comment. Swift looks pretty good. Let’s not tear another woman down.

      • Priya says:

Um, a lot of it is shading with bronzer and luminizer.

    • sally says:

Yeah all I can see is the bolt ons

    • Tiffany :) says:

I don’t know…I can’t really fault her for that. She had a very small chest, and I know that can really affect a woman’s self esteem. She didn’t get massive bolt ons, she got a fairly small set. She is just quite thin, so they pop like Posh’s.

I get concerned when people have so many procedures they don’t look like themselves, but I can’t shade a person changing one feature on themselves.

    • TwoBirds says:

Jessica this was my first thought! I knew she had a boob job but not a really bad one. It looks awful, I guess she usually dresses to hide this fact. I would be going back to my plastic surgeon asap!

    • Veronica says:

I felt terrible that it was the first thing that caught my eye, but if you were so keen on denying the rumors*, why would you let your stylist send you out on the red carpet looking like that? I know push up bras can give them a very sharp, spherical appearance if the cut is tight enough, but they generally still have some softness to the edges of them. It gives it more of a “squish” effect instead of a “blob” effect, which is what I’m seeing here.

If it is a boob job, it just feeds into my lifelong sentiment that ultra-slim girls should have not breast jobs. I have yet to meet a woman of that body type on whom the procedure looks at all natural. You have to have some heft to your build to camouflage the hardness of the implants.

*I can’t tell you how much it drives me up a wall that celebrity women – particularly women who sell themselves as role models to young girls – won’t admit to this. If you want to augment your body, that’s fine. It’s YOUR body, but don’t produce this illusion that it’s normal to be that slim and have a decent sized rack. It’s very rare, particularly if you’re on the taller side, and it just contributes to the grinding down of female self esteem.

  3. Kiddo says:

    I believe it too.

  4. Sarah says:

I think it’s worse that Anne V wasn’t invited back, and they boosted Behati’s profile now that’s shes Mrs. Levine.
Anne was much higher profile than Behati every year…..until she started dating Adam.

    • Juliette says:

I miss Anne V too. Behati is just meh to me, and also she’s awfully thin. Anne has exquisite bone structure – such a face! Plus she’s far more curvy and more “VS model” than Behati.

Its the rotten side of the industry that well-connected women do better than those who are more deserving. Adam Levine is no prince, so hopefully Anne finds a nicer guy.

      • Aye says:

You have a bloke to agree with you here. Anne V isn’t so much my type (I’m getting kind of bored of VS models in general… just visually of course, not that they wouldn’t knock me out in person or something), but that Behati girl is bland in ways that no fad-diet geek protestant housewife could ever conceive. If it weren’t for Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima or Lais Ribeiro, the show would be an unspeakable bore, for guys in particular.

  5. Jaderu says:

Poor Jessica Hart is stuffed in a locker somewhere.

  6. perplexed says:

What’s she wearing in terms of the black outfit? I’m not offended by it or anything, but that looks like something Ariana Grande might wear and everybody (including Blossom) would be all up in arms about. By contrast, Taylor is perceived as classy and elegant, and not someone who stoops to really showing off any kind of sexy vibe to sell records. Yet the outfits that Ariana Grande wears don’t look any different to me than what Taylor wears from time to time (she also wore some strange kind of one-sie where her backside cleavage was showing, which I realize is what women are wearing nowadays, but Taylor never seems to catch flack for it the way everybody else does).

    • jinni says:

I think that’s because even though both act juvenile, Ariana looks underage even though she an adult whereas Taylor’s height makes it easier to realize she is an adult. Suck for Ariana since she can’t help that she’s tiny.

    • Kiddo says:

I think it’s also because Taylor lacks ‘it’. She’s very pretty, but not especially sexy, at least in my opinion.

    • snowflake says:

this is a lingerie show, it’s different. taylor in regular clothes dresses way more conservatively than grande. plus grande looks like a young girl, so it’s more disturbing to see her in sexy clothes. and she exagggerates that effect by wearing her hair in a young girl way. so it’s creepy, grande looks like a little girl playing dressup who’s ready for some action.

      • perplexed says:

I saw her wearing a one-sie that looked provocative for some kind of event, but since she doesn’t come across as sexy despite the long legs, I guess no one noticed she was showing a bit of backside. It looked like a Miley Cyrus outfit in a way, but I do have to concede that Taylor managed to make it look somewhat classy. Still the bit of backside cleavage peeking through surprised me.

I think her shorts are sometimes the same short-shorts everyone else is wearing, but again maybe she manages to add a certain elegance that makes it seem as she’s not commodifying her body. To be fair, she’s probably simply dressing for herself, but sometimes the range of her outfits doesn’t strike me as radically different from everybody else’s (okay, maybe she’ s not showing her belly button, but I can still see her belly). Nonetheless, she does have that patrician old-money look that Gwyneth Paltrow strives for (minus the red lipstick) that probably makes her seem a bit more on the conservative side. She could probably play Daisy Buchanan in a silent movie version of The Great Gatsby.

      • Bridget says:

@perplexed, you’re talking about the MTV VMAs, which isn’t exactly an event where people are going to show up in their regular old clothes, and Taylor wore a little jumper type deal. And to clarify, people talk about Ariana Grande not because the onesies are too sexy, but rather the opposite: they’re a poor choice for someone who wants to be seen as sexy and counterbalance her baby face.

      • perplexed says:

Yes, I realize the MTV VMAs are a different kind of event, but a lot of the times I don’t think her outfits are way more conservative than everybody else’s.

I can understand the criticism of Ariana Grande because of the Lolita thing, but other pop stars catch flack too, but at times Taylor dresses somewhat similar to them, but possibly with more of an old-money vibe to her that neutralizes how the outfits come across. Not that it really matters much to me what any of these people wear, but her outfits, on paper anyway, look like they’re meant to give off a sexy vibe (i.e the pic above where her chest seems pushed upward). Whether she herself succeeds at giving off a sexy vibe is different though.

I guess the fact that she’s playing a lingerie show too is a little weird to me, given her image for younger girls, so in a strange way, I can understand Hart’s comments about her (though why she was stupid enough to say them publicly, I’m not sure. I wouldn’t have said them out loud. That’s just PR common sense).

      • Bridget says:

Hart’s comments at the time were in the context of being asked whether or not Swift could be one of the VS girls. It was supposed to be a silly “oh yeah, she totally belongs up here with us” throwaway question, but Hart biffed it.

And as far as pop stars and sexy outfits go, Taylor’s outifts are extremely tame and have always been. And again, people aren’t criticizing Grande for being sexy, so much as her complete misfire on trying to look sexy and change her image. That, and she tends to encourage a lot of the criticism with her behavior. It’s like sharks smelling blood – as soon as there are rumors about attitude problems, people are going to hate everything about you.

      • otaku fairy says:

Yeah, I think it’s because Taylor Swift has an older looking face than Ariana Grande, even though these girls show the exact same amount of skin. Plus, even though both of them are skinny, Taylor is a tall pale 5’10” girl, and Ariana is only 5’0″. So both the height and the older look may be an advantage for her- it does seem like tall, willowy Taylor Sift-type girls get away with showing more skin than everyone else. (oooh, I sound a little bitter!) Plus, Taylor Swift is 25 and Ariana is 21. You know people always freak out and paint it as tragic exploitation and oppression when 18-22 year old women veer toward the sexier stuff. They freak out with all of them- let Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, or Lorde ever do something like that and you’ll see the same thing.

I still say that different hair, bolt-ons, and an ass of lies are what it would take for Ariana to be allowed to wear sexy clothes without being accused of pedophile-pandering. Put Kim or Khloe Kardashian in the same exact things Ariana wears and nobody would say either of those women were ‘trying to be a lolita.’

      • perplexed says:

If Hart’s comments were about Taylor Swift not fitting in as a VS girl, then I actually find Swift’s reaction a bit weird than if Hart was commenting on Swift’s singing not fitting into the show. I think I’d probably take it as a compliment that I wouldn’t fit in as a VS girl, maybe because I’d be perceived as someone of actual substance?

I think Swift dresses tame in her everyday life, but her Blank Space performance at the AMAs didn’t strike me as that conservative. She’s so boring though that I didn’t perceive it as overly wild…or even wild… either, but performance-wise I think she dresses the same as everyone else, excluding Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus who are a whole other brand of weird from the Selena Gomez’s or Demi Lovato’s. I get the point about Ariana Grande, but the others face criticism and yet they all seem interchangeable to me fashion-wise. I don’t see much of a difference in terms of how the rest of the pop singers in Swift’s age range dress. I’m just basing this on what my eyes see (I have no idea what Demi Lovato actually sings about). I guess my more general point is that I don’t think Taylor Swift is THAT conservative in relation to someone like Selena Gomez, but definitely more normal if you compare her to Lady Gaga. But then most people, including everyday young women, don’t dress like Lady Gaga.

    • Bridget says:

People give Ariana Grande a hard time about her outfit choices because she’s a baby-faced performer wearing a onesie. In her attempt to wear something ‘sexy’ she’s somehow chosen something that instead people directly associate with a baby/toddler. Bad choice.

    • Moore says:

I agree. She wears low cut dresses at events. She wears short skirts and shorts in her private life but no one ever seems to notice and she is still put forth as very modest.

  7. Froggy says:

I’m sure Katy Perry believes it (I do too).

  8. minime says:

Oh well, if she did it, I don’t really find it that strange. The way that girl spoke was totally out of line. That “God bless her” part was full of shade and she was definitely looking for some minutes of fame at Swift’s cost. Bad plan and very unprofessional. Why would Victoria Secret have any interest in keeping her there anyway? Swift might have asked for it or they might have simply decided that they need no extra drama and cattiness, specially when she’s not that much of a special asset.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I thought the shade from Jessica was kind of odd, too. When she said Taylor didn’t fit, it almost seemed like she was saying Taylor wasn’t a VS model…which, no sh*t. She’s a singer. They had Justin Bieber perform at one of these, so it isn’t like the artist always ties in to the brand that well. Analytically, I think Taylor is a great fit for this show because she not only appeals to the target demo, she IS the target demo for VS products.

  9. Brittney B says:

Wow, NYDN didn’t even get the name of her song right. Something tells me this is fabricated.

  10. DavidBowie says:

“Perceived” dig? It was a straight up dig. LOL Swifty’s hair is so bad.

  11. Mia V. says:

She’s blonde, cute and so not an angel.

  12. jinni says:

The fact that she can get a model booted from the line up is just another sign of how lame this brand has gotten. Once Lima leaves this brand is going to go straight to crap, model wise. I wish they would choose a more diverse roster of Angels because it’s getting hard to differentiate between the 5 almost identical in features blondes they have. And what does this company have against models with some legit curves? No, I’m not trying to skinny shame anyone, just that they were one of the few brands that had models with breast, hips, and butts. Now they have to scrap every little bit of available skin on most of these new models just to create the illusion of cleavage. What happened?

    • We Are All Made of Stars says:

      Truth.
If they want to keep on pretending that they’re a legit and kinda classy designer brand, they need to make a choice: either go the route of hiring women with traditional lingerie model proportions (like Sophia Loren), or go the runway route of ultra-skinny but natural women. I don’t understand this split-down-the-middle where it’s like, either get fake boobs if you’re thin or diet yourself down to unhealthy levels if your’re curvaceous so everybody looks the same. Didn’t used to be that way.

      • Bridget says:

I read something several years back that VS was having a lot of financial problems because the brand wasn’t appealing to many women any more – it was either perceived as too juvenile (with all the Love Pink crap) or the ads were all too male-centric. For goodness sake, remember the Michael Bay VS commercial?

      • Lila says:

I don’t know if Taylor had anything to do with this but I don’t think it would matter. I think Hart would be out regardless. Taylor has a huge fan base right in VS’s target customer age range. Worse, Hart was a Pink model which is designed for teens and college age women. As far as I’m concerned, that’s the kind of stupid that is just asking to be slapped back.

Plus Taylor just had a huge album, she’s close friends with several of the Angels and models, she’s a guarantee of extra press, etc. Hart should have sent her shade in a different direction.

As far as the pics, someone put way too much bronzer on her boobs. Those things look like mannequin boobs. And please lose the hairspray and gel! Otherwise, the outfits are gorgeous. I kind of love that VS always decks her out to match the models. It’s like she gets to be supermodel for a day. Which is also why I don’t think the outfits look trashy on her. There isn’t any writhing or grabbing her parts. Just skimpy clothes, hot shoes, and great posture.

  13. Willa says:

Taylor has all the right equipment to look sexy, yet she never does to me. Not even in lingerie.

    • Tiffany says:

      I agree, Willa.

Taylor has always struck me as asexual. With all the pap walks with the ex’s and John Mayer rumors, I still was just not buying that she was physical with any of them. I often wonder is she is a robot, just comes out to perform for the masses and is shut down with it is all over.

The only person I see her having any genuine emotion with lately is Karlie Kloss.

      • Willa says:

Hahaaaa! I can picture it Tiffany. After her performances she powers down and they put her in her crate, ( like the one in A Christmas Story that held the leg lamp.) and store her away till next scheduled gig! Lol! Come to think of it, the Leg Lamp is sexier than Swifty!

    • Kitten says:

This. She’s cute and I like her but I get terrible second-hand embarrassment when she tries to do sexy. And she REALLY needs to do something different with her hair–it’s just not flattering at all.

    • Kiddo says:

      Yep.

    • We Are All Made of Stars says:

I will start out with my usual disclaimer that I don’t understand people who think a squinty praying mantis is pretty, or unusually movie star pretty,…..but I just don’t think she is. Her face is weird and her posture and body language is gawky and geeky. She doesn’t project any body awareness or ability to sensually connect with herself, let alone with a man. Her music tells everyone nine and older that she doesn’t understand sensuality and sexual/psychological connection at all.
I think she benefits from checking society’s attractiveness boxes on paper at least: blond, blue, white, thin….somehow it just doesn’t add up with her.

      • snowflake says:

i think she’s gorgeous. she doesn’t know how to carry off sexy. i think she’s not used to being thought of as sexy and she’s not comfortable with it. I was a nerd when i was young. when I started developing and getting attention, i was still shy so it made me uncomfortable. i think swift is same way.

      • Moore says:

I think she is impressively beautiful. But I just can’t see her in sexual light either.

    • Peppa says:

She is very asexual. I never get a sexy vibe from Taylor.

    • INeedANap says:

I completely agree. She sounds sexy on paper, but the reason she still has a good girl image after all the lingerie is because she has zero sex appeal. Just goes to show it really is about personality and carriage.

    • Adrien says:

She has nice legs. But, she looks like Jon Heder in Blades of Glory each time she attempts to look sexy with the open mouth. Also, she reminds me of Mandy Moore’s character in Saved for some reasons.

    • Veronica says:

I think she’s beautiful, and her fashion is getting better, but her appearances are always too laden with intent for me to read anything natural into them, which is part of why she never looks stylish or sexy to me. And really, that’s fine – women have no requirement to be sexy – but it does stand out against a backdrop of models who portray sexy as a living.

    • Veruca Salt says:

      Same here

  14. Sally J. Freedman says:

Good for her, if it’s true. That was a really catty thing for Jessica to say in the first place. Did she really think that she could say that about their big act with no repercussions? It was beyond tacky.

  15. geekychick says:

I don’t get what is so awful about it. Hart was unprofessional and honestly, her comments were out of line; she said Swift doesn’t belong there and doesn’t fit in-I don’t really know much about them, but Swift is a singer and songwriter and pretty smart businesswoman-who is Jessica Hart again? I haven’t heard about her until she made those comments. Swift is a bigger star, why wouldn’t she set a condition that she doesn’t want a person who is unprofessional in her working environment? I mean, what is so outrageous about it? That she stood up for herself? If a guy did the same, would we even discuss it?

    • Kitten says:

Precisely. At best it was a b*tchy thing to say, at worst it was completely unprofessional and incredibly stupid.

So much of the VS model image is based on being fun, sexy and most of all, completely unthreatening. She really f*cked that up with the cattiness.

      • Sunny says:

        She did- it was unprofessional.

However, Taylor’s response was also unprofessional and worse- it was petty. No one in this situation acted like an adult.

      • Kitten says:

If it’s even true–maybe, but Taylor Swift as a mega-star has the upper-hand in this situation.
It would be like if I made a rude remark to my manager and ended up getting fired for it. The owner of the company will stand by whoever brings in the most money and in this scenario, Taylor Swift’s popularity will draw in viewers for VS whereas Hart is just a small casualty in the grand scheme of things.

      • Sunny says:

@Kitten I see that from a brand point of view but in real life people are forced to work with people they dislike all the time. If you made a catty remark at work, you probably wouldn’t be fired- you would receive punishment (unless it was racist or sexist). This case is extreme.

If she did have someone removed over a petty comment that reflects badly on Taylor as well as Jessica. The comment wasn’t derogatory nor was it defamatory so having her removed(if she did act that way) shows Taylor as overly sensitive to any criticism and petty.

Much like Jessica, if this is true, she comes off as childish.

  16. M says:

I would also by if VS made the call not to have Jessica walk. What an awkward moment if she sashayed next to Taylor & they side eyed each other.

  17. Franny Days says:

I’m pretty positive it would have been VS who didn’t hire her back, as it was super unprofessional of her to say that.

    • Nk868 says:

+1. They saw Taylor as a great “get” and wanted to bring in younger viewers (not underage- I mean having Seal on when he was married to Heidi wasn’t exactly a draw for those under 30) and they seemed super pissed when she spoke out of turn last year, issuing a statement and making her apologize.

      • Thaisajs says:

I totally agree. I doubt Taylor said anything. They just didn’t want to deal with the drama, as it’s not good for their brand.

  18. Amanda_M87 says:

Hart probably would have been fired by VS anyway, even if it weren’t for Taylor Swift. Taylor is tall and skinny like all the models so she fits in well.

  19. Josefa says:

I can believe it, but perhaps VS simply didn’t want to cast Jessica Hart again. She’s not the model I’m most familiar with, but I know she’s caused trouble backstage plenty of times and is not particularly professional. And non-angels in the VS lineup are incredibly disposable. It’s not like anyone would notice she didn’t walk.

  20. Mzizkrizten says:

I don’t believe this story. I seriously doubt Taylor would mean-girl like that. I think this model got dropped for other reasons and she is bitter and maybe she thinks it’s because of Taylor because she doesn’t want to face whatever fault of hers got her ousted.

    • Veruca Salt says:

You seriously don’t think a revengous, slut shaming, passive aggressive, girl who goes by the name of TAYLOR SWIFT, could mean girl someone?

i hate victoria secret stuff. $50 for a bra made overseas for $10. and they don’t hold up. and it’s hard to find a 36d, let alone a DD. imo, only people that buy that shit are young college girls built like the models. who wear the stupid sweatpants with PINK written on the bottom. overrated, overpriced. I found maidenform bras at kohls for $23 which are just as good.

    • mzizkrizten says:

RIGHT! My 19 year old daughter spent $50 on a pair of flippin yoga pants there. I told her she’s crazy.

    • Irishae says:

Yep, I always go to Kohls for bras. Vanity Fair is also a great brand for those of us with D’s or more, FYI.

    • SE says:

They used to hold up quite well…back in the early 90s. At the time I was in the Navy and stationed onboard a ship. I had VS undies and you could put them through the ship’s laundry and they’d come out fine. Now they’re just cheap stuff that you can get for a better price at Wal-Mart.

  23. JenniferJustice says:

For the love of God girl, close your freakin’ lips. The almost “O” mouth is so played and predictable by this one. It’s stupid.

  24. Estella says:

I could swear I saw Hart in pink feathered/furred wings. If it wasn’t here than VS really did drop her and then sent her doppelganger down the runway in this year’s show.

  25. Gemma13 says:

Just dropped by to say I would love to own that robe and nightgown. Love love love it.

  26. Cainterviewer says:

Well, what good is power if you never use it? Like Taylor or not, she is succesfull and influential (and she did it without the over the top sexpot routine). Jessica should have known better than to dog a major star that she will never come close to matching success wise – she certainly does now.

  27. bonsai mountain says:

So THIS woman is supposed to be elegant and classy and wholesome for 12 year old girls? Eek.

  28. kri says:

HA! I have been banging on about this for a year. I said that public diss set Amazing Amy off onto her NYC journey, her BFF-ing of Kloss and all those fashion/pap documentaries on the way to the gym. Someone told Cray Tay she wasn’t the most perfect princess, and she did not likey. At all. Wonder who “spilled” the coffee on that chick’s leg? No, but really. We need Olivia Benson to get to the truth. Taylor is smart at marketing herself. Girl has game. hope you didn’t love modelling, Victoria’s Secret model chick.

    • Mean Hannah says:

You know, it’s terrible, but I thought the same thing: who spilled coffee on her foot? It’s a pretty extensive damage, but lucky for her, it’s just on her foot/ankle which is easily airbrushed. It wasn’t on her face or stomach or boobs, her moneymakers, but it still hurts her and it seems a bit more sinister than an accident. That must have been one hell of boiling hot coffee and I thought we don’t serve them like that any more due to liability.

    • Veruca Salt says:

Haha! A+ for this comment!! And I’m so glad that im not the only one who has envisioned Taylor Swift as a secret, plotting psychotic lady. Girl has the scariest eyes I’ve seen look at a camera *shivers*

  29. Samm says:

Taylor rocked the hell out of all four of the outfits she wore last night. With her body she could easily pass for a supermodel. And I think several posters here need to check their libido, because Swift was easily every bit as sexy as the VS supermodels she shared the stage with. Girl has grown up and turned into a VERY sexy woman.

  30. A. Key says:

They picked tayor swift over jessica hart?!?!!? wtF

  31. Moore says:

The VS secret people would do that even without her asking. They remember the incident too i’m sure. This story doesn’t hold up to me because the evidence of Hart not showing up would be true if she asked for Hart not to show up or if she didn’t. And this VS guy says they are all supposed to keep it quiet but he is talking. Risking his job for what? For giving the tabloids a story that they would likely make up anyway. So I am saying fake story.

  32. Veronica says:

I could see it, but given the injuries Hart’s been walking around with, I could also seeing it being a tabloid story that just happens to have a good enough backstory to be believable. I actually agreed with Hart’s sentiment – 2013 Taylor was not 2014 Taylor, so she didn’t work with the VS image for me…and I thought it was vaguely gross to use a performer whose primary base was young girls for a lingerie show. The new, “mature” Taylor works a lot better. This being said, it was a pretty foolish and catty comment to make publicly, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it played into her absence when they asked Taylor to come back.

  33. Dash says:

I feel like VS came out swinging against Jess Hart and forced her to apologise a year ago when all this happened? Maybe we heard more about it in Australia, but I basically thought she was dumped back then.

  34. Charlie says:

I get Ariana and Taylor, but Hozier seemed so out of place on the show.

    • Veronica says:

Hozier was there??? Yeah, that’s…I love the guy, but that’s not the soundtrack I set to my sexy times. I guess “Take Me to Church” is about an intense, obsessive love, but still.

      • Paul Ó Duḃṫaiġ says:

As the show was in London they obviously thought they needed some “local flavour” to go with Ed Sheeran of course the fact that Hozier is from Ireland and not Britain might have gone over their head. (Though Sheeran does have two Irish grandparents to go with his Irish surname)

    • jammypants says:

I thought that was weird as well

  35. TotallyBiased says:

Huh. I don’t usually drop in on TS threads, but I just have to say those pictures look pretty great to me. The champagne peach out fit makes me want to run out and by it–not my usual reaction to VS fashion shows!

  36. Adrien says:

Eh, I would do the same thing. “Bless her heart”? That’s like saying F U to Tay.

  37. Cowgirl27 says:

Hart was out of line last year plain and simple. She took a jab at the non-model entertainment and now had to pay the price. Hart obviously forgot models are only to be seen and not heard. I don’t feel sorry for her at all – she really took a pot shot at Taylor last year and tried to tear another woman down and it backfired.

  38. DrMrsTheMonarch says:

    “God bless her heart”

My people are from the South. Those are fighting words.

  39. Abby says:

I think having Taylor sing again shows who this show is really marketed toward: TS fans. Nothing wrong with that IMO. I don’t know if this rumor is true but it’s funny if it is. And I wouldn’t be surprised. I love Taylor, but if I was in her position I would do the same thing!

And i think she looks great. Dunno why that model said that… it’s not like Taylor is a model. Katy Perry “didn’t fit” way more than Taylor. She’s at least tall!

  40. Veruca Salt says:

Ha! I wouldn’t be surprised if Taylor Swift herself was behind the burning of Hart’s foot. Nyahhahaha she is the person who wrote that horrid song titled, “Better than Revenge”. 😀

All jokes aside, I cringe everytime I see a picture of her in a VS show, she looks like she’s trying SO HARD to be one of the models, but alas, she doesn’t have “IT”. Sure she may look pretty and thin and blonde but girlfriend lacks the pizzaz and sex appeal and looks like she’s doing a Blue Steel spoof when she would walk down the runway. Sorry Taylor!
