As we saw earlier this week, Caitlyn Jenner is in NY filming her reality show following Pride Week, where she made a (presumably paid) appearance. Over the weekend and on Monday, Caitlyn donned a black Herve Leger bandage dress, an LBD and a navy wrap dress. Yesterday she made no less than three outfit changes, two of them wrap dresses and one a rainbow sequin miniskirt presumably picked for her by designer Patricia Field.
First here’s Caitlyn in a leopard print Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress, which is very similar to a leopard print wrap dress that Kim Kardashian has worn. (It’s not the same dress though.) So Kaiser’s comment yesterday about how Caitlyn needed more styling tips from Kim seems to have come to fruition.
Caitlyn then went to the Patricia Field store, and we know the designer was there because she posed for the paps afterwards. Caitlyn spent two hours inside, where it’s assumed she was styled by Field, and then came out in the outfit above. I think she looks hot but this is more of a club or evening outfit, especially with the black sequin top. It would look more suited for a snazzy day out with just a plain black top. The double sequins look like overkill.

For her night out with friend Candis Cayne, at Broadway show “An American in Paris,” Caitlyn wore a navy lace wrap dress with the same black slingback shoes she’s worn in NY to date. Many of you mentioned in our last post on Caitlyn’s fashion that Caitlyn’s style is age-appropriate. She doesn’t dress like a Kardashian. She sure works the paps like a Kardashian that’s for sure. I’m picturing Kris Jenner making out with her boyfriend in Paris, seething at the lack of attention she gets compared to her ex.
I love a good wrap dress and I wear a lot of blue so yes, I would wear this dress. My boobs wouldn’t look as good in it though.

She’s tall so maybe her feet are large and its hard for her to find pumps at her size.
I have heard Paris Hilton has sasquash feet, maybe they could share?? lol
She’s so rich and yes her feet are big and it’s time she got some lucky cobbler to handcraft her a suitable wardrobe of shoes.

Maybe she is genuinely worried though? You never know where an angry and vocal bigot might lurk, especially when you’re such a public figure.
Choices are limited in big sizes, so she really may not have a lot of shoes just yet. I wear an 11 and I’m screwed so I’m sure she is too.
My 12 year old daughter is a size 11. It is a job finding her shoes.
I know people hate Payless but they do have big and wide width shoes.
Or perhaps she can get Kim to call her old friend Paris Hilton and find out where she gets her shoes.
Many years ago, I knew a guy who wore a size 13.5 and when he found a store with shoes in his size — ANY shoes at all — he would buy out their entire stock.
It was that hard for him to find shoes. He would take anything they had as long as he could fit it around his massive ankle-canoes.
I wear size 12 shoes, I feel your pain. I go to great lengths to get cute and comfortable shoes in my size. I wish I had smaller feet so I had more options to wear. The struggle is real.
I am inclined to believe the same shoes… it is a comfort issue.
It is hard on your knee’s and feet to wear heels daily. Even if you have been doing it for years. This is a new thing for her. So these shoes may feel solid to wear and not trip in, for her. And it is best to wear heels, that you feel confident that you are not going to end up on face. Because you tripped and fell off your heels.
The one thing that is really noticeable. She has really gotten thin. Her legs are really lean.
Elegant shoes / high heels in big sizes DO exist. She should just buy where drag queens and cross-dressers buy their shoes. Problem solved.
(Jeffree Star for example is often seen / photographed with high heels, and he seems to have big man-feet also. *shrugs* )
But maybe it is in fact a comfort thing or she simply likes these shoes very much.
I know everyone is sick of Jenner but I am not lol and I cannot wait to see more of her outfits for real like I am very very much in awe in how quickly she has blossomed like I hear ya no time like the present!
I got tired of hearing about it, but now that we’re seeing the metamorphosis it’s like, WoW!!! I’m rather enjoying it all!
I wish she would break out that gold medal. Maybe bedazzle it a little first, turn it into a brooch or something.

Except that the wrap part does not go all the way around her–if you look closely at the pic as she is getting out of the car, you can see just a single layer and see her thong under it. But then maybe that was the plan—you never know with the K and now J family.

Okay, I can’t hold it in anymore…all that plastic surgery is making Caitlyn look like she’s wearing someone else’s face. Like a horror movie villain skinned someone alive and made a skin mask for her. She’s pretty but creepy looking at the same time. The face and neck just don’t match.
I will say somrthing nice, tho. I LOVE the navy lace wrap dress. I would wear that dress over and over again.

What I think is so funny about this whole thing is how society has just picked this up and run with it in a relatively smooth transition and now Caitlynn is a walking example of how the world views women vs men. From the moment he became she there is no discussion of merit but only what she wears, how her hair is done, what her skin looks like… it’s bizarre and intriguing. I wonder if the long-lived psyche of male Bruce is surprised about the world’s treatment of Caitlynn.
I always thought Bruce Jenner looked so strange and alien-like. The plastic surgery, the long stringy hair – I remember him being embarrassed by the botched nose job. But now…Caitlyn, she looks just so… right. I wondered if the Vanity Fair cover was just heavily photoshopped but clearly, Caitlyn was meant to be Caitlyn! Get it!

She certainly learned well from the Krazy K family on how to become a papwhore. I would have a lot more respect for her if she were doing her transition privately. However the whole reality show thing makes me think the money/fame is more important to her. Sorry but the whole K family and now C Jenner–they are all crazy, fame-hungry people.

I see Kim Z in a few of Caitlyn’s photos. They have the same facial features, but Caitlyn also looks like Jessica Lange and Courtney Cox in other photos. Must be the lighting angles and makeup

I think it is hard for her to find shoes, but also she’s not used to wearing heels all the time. And she’s probably found these to be very comfortable compared to some others she has, and especially with being on her feet out and about so much in New York this week. I love watching Cait find her way stylewise and out and about loud and proud. She’s more fun to watch than Amal. LOL
Maybe someone should remind her that there are flat shoes which are indeed trĂ©s chic…… I don’t want to be mean to anyone. but I am sick and tired of women thinking they HAVE to wear heels. Who says that? Where is that written? If you feel uncomfortable with heels – then don’t wear them. Better to look sexy and good in flats than to look funny in high heels. Ui, there are even women (some celebrities as well, I think) who wear DocMartens with a mini-skirt…. Who cares?!

She looks exceptionally beautiful. Bruce was also an extremely pretty boy, and I always thought he’d make an extremely pretty girl too (no surgery or makeup needed). Which makes me wonder (even though I probably already KNOW the answer) – do many transgender people – that are male born in female bodies – ever transition to female in a more simple way. For example – without altering their face surgically or using lots and lots of makeup to alter their face so much. I’m just wondering because when I see pics of Bruce circa his Olympic Gold days, I think he’d make a gorgeous girl without changing a thing other than maybe removing the extra facial hair/sideburns/a LITTLE eyebrow plucking and that’s all. Thoughts?
I know two transgendered women, and they for sure didn’t alter their face nor their bodys. They have boobs, of course, but only the very small ones taking hormones gave them.
Over here in Germany, health care pays for the required surgery, the hormones and for psychological assistance. But they, of course, do not pay for face alterations or fake boobs (what is okay imo). So it is mainly a question of money how “far” a transgendered person can transform himself/herself.
I must say, I appreciate how Andreja Petic looks after her transition. She didn’t exaggerate, she just looks like a pretty girl with a fitting body (at least that is what I remember from seeing phots some time back).
Bruce already had fine features. I despise the nose job, though, and the over botoxed expression.
Besides that, like her style better than any KArdashian, but I judge him/her on parenting skills

I do not understand the struggle of trans people. In fact, I cannot imagine the struggle that they must go through. However, I have a tremendous amount of respect and compassion for them. I wish Caitlyn the best. I have a lot of respect that she is 65 and is going through this transition. I can’t say anything about who she is as a person, I don’t judge any aspect of her personality or the way she lives her life. I do respect her for making this huge transition.

I am very pro-gender-choice, however I do not understand the need for altering bodies to the point of looking artificial, dressing so uncomfortably, and having appearance be the end-all of who you are. Most of us wear yoga leggings and flip flops, hair pulled back, while we are picking up toilet paper and milk after work. I can’t seem to look away from the spectacle of the Cs and Ks of the day, as their lives are so tremendously different from mine.
I think the reason she keeps wearing the same heels is probably because she is not used to wearing them on a daily basis and found a pair that was comfortable to wear all day. As a woman, I have yet to find a pair of comfortable heels to wear that don’t fall off my flat narrow feet! I don’t understand women who live in heels.
