I’m basically just writing about these Jennifer Lawrence photos because I love her dog Pippi. I’m usually not a fan of small dogs, nor am I a fan of starlets wandering down the street holding their toy dogs, but I do like this. Pippi was J-Law’s mom’s dog, but Jennifer stole Pippi for herself, and now Pippi is her constant companion/best friend. Pippi rolls wherever J-Law needs her too.

J-Law has been in NYC, off and on, for several months now. I think she’s even calling New York her homebase now? Although I know she owns a home in California too. She’s preparing to promote X-Men: Apocalypse, plus her new film is in pre-production. That new film is still untitled, but she’ll be directed by Darren Aronofsky (and maybe they’re about to be romantically linked too). There’s some casting news as well… J-Law will likely star in this film with the ubiquitous Domhnall Gleeson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris and Javier Bardem. It’s about two sets of couples, and I don’t know if J-Law’s character’s other half is Domhnall or Javier?

Which brings me to a thought… J-Law and Domhnall? I would be into that. Even though Domhnall has worked with a steady stream of attractive costars, so far he hasn’t been “attached” to anyone high-profile. I think Domhnall would be Jennifer’s type – tall, pale, accented. Plus, he seems like a kind, lovely dude. But would he be into her? And what does Pippi think about all of this? Pippi’s probably happy to have her mom to herself without any icky boys to contend with.
