The 4th of July is a celebration of American independence. It’s also a day to eat too much, blow up stuff and drink to excess. (Or, if you’re a crazy person like me, you get up at 4 am and run 6.2 miles through a sweltering Atlanta morning in a Wonder Woman costume, but I digress.) I’m sure most of us are guilty of posting blurry videos of fireworks and pics of the kiddos with sparklers on Instagram or Facebook, but Brandi Glanville took things to the extreme – setting off some fireworks of her own on social media.
The 43-year-old Real Housewife of Beverly Hills alum, who has already rubbed most of the cast members of her latest reality show, Famously Single, the wrong way, is no stranger to boozing it up and having notoriously iffy taste in men. Apparently, Brandi wanted the world to know that she is still “famously single,” so why not take advantage of the long holiday weekend to post drunken ramblings and butt selfies?
Brandi kicked off her festivities on Saturday, tweeting, “I’ve tricked a VERY hot man into coming over to help me turn on my BBQ – little does he know he will be grilling & may never be allowed to leave.” We never learn who this mystery man is, but later in the evening, she tweeted a rear view photo of herself, clad only in barely there panties and a tank top cooking up something in the kitchen (not a euphemism). She also shared the shot on Instagram with the caption, “It’s 1230 and I’m still in PJ’s cooking for people that are constantly hungry & sneaking cheeky pics of me over the stove 💋” (The link is NSFW.) The photographer isn’t the only one who’s hungry, right?
And the fun continues! Back on Twitter, we learn that Brandi is having a pool party and later tweets, “This a semi drunken decision but I’ve decided no more group dates, late night calls or pretending I’m not ur girl…because I’m not anymore [kissy face emoji].” She also posts a photo in a blue bra and thong with the caption, “Dear a**hole this is no longer yours [broken heart emoji] bye.” (Again, link is NSFW.) And, just in case you may have missed it, she posted the same image to Instagram with the caption, “Drunken post! French cut is back! #ibizasuit ready to re-start my life! happy 4th.” Drunken post? You don’t say! She really wants to let you all know that she’s an independent lady, doesn’t she? The only thing I can embed here from Brandi’s liquor-induced shenanigans is a quick lip synch to a cover of “You Don’t Own Me.” And trust me, she’s got nothing on Bette, Goldie and Diane here. As RuPaul would say, “Sashay away.”
Wow. Just wow. I wonder who the “a-hole” is? It’s probably comedian Theo Von, as he kind of exudes that douchey quality that I sense when I see Dane Cook. But really, Brandi, posting all of this stuff on social media smacks of desperation. I’m sure part of this is to promote Famously Single, but it’s all just a little too much. I shudder to think what is coming to Brandi’s social media accounts on Labor Day weekend.

I wasn’t a fan of hers until I started watching famously single. She seems pretty nice and Aubrey keeps attacking for some reason I haven’t figured out.
Agree, Brandi seems like the only normal one is isn’t obsessed with being famous. Poor Aubrey is so delusional about herself it’s really kinda sad.

@flowerchild, I think Brandi does these shows for money. She sure as heck is not getting a ton of child support from Eddie. While there is a lot about Brandi that I find unlikeable or problematic, she is at least hustling and stretching out her 15 minutes rather than relying on a washed up country singer for everything.
Those are Brandi’s only options? “Hustling” or relying on the Ex’s new wife? How about getting a real job like a responsible parent? Or better yet, years ago, take some of that Real Housewives money and get an education. I don’t admire any woman who basically acts like a trashy fool for money with sheninigan after shenanigan that her kids will see later. She took the easy way out – the fame ho way out.

Sure I think Brandi Wants to be famous, but the others seem more delusional about how famous they really are. One or two of them I’ve never even heard of, these are all d-list celebrities acting like a-listers and I think it’s funny. Brandi seems the most down to earth, maybe Pauly D too, but Audrey is crazy, lol.
I don’t think she has a lot of options. Seriously, she has a high school diploma, hasn’t been in school in years, and she’s not exactly a brain surgeon. She leveled the playing field a bit when she achieved some fame/notoriety. I think she will do these shows as long as she can. Not sure how much she can make off her wine, which has a good reputation. That said, while I’ve always liked her and felt for her with what her ex and his mistress put her through, she needs to mature a little. Silly posts about “this isn’t yours” or whatever are just dumb; she needs to identify troublesome patterns and change them.
She seemed really nice the first couple seasons of RHoBH, too. Then she turned into a giant mess.
I think she was ‘encouraged’ by the producers to liven things up with the other women otherwise, low ratings.
But as we all know by now, those shows are scripted. I’m not saying that Brandi isn’t nice, I’m just saying that the reality show format probably isn’t the most accurate way to judge a person’s character.
These are all reality show vets, and they know that drama=screen time. Brandi knows that she needs to clean up her image. Aubrey knows that the more obnoxious she is, the more she’ll be featured, no matter how embarrassing it may ultimately be.
It amazes me how much some individual value being famous and being on TV over any sort of dignity.
Does Brandi even think how posting things like this online must affect her children? She is a grown woman and has the right to live her life, but come on. Tone it down a bit
That’s all I can think of when I see her. I know the “think about the children!” crap is often overplayed but it definitely applies here. Jesus. If I act like that at age 43, I want an intervention. Therapy, electroshock treatment, medication, SOMETHING to stop me from making an ass out of myself.

Thank you! I feel like I’ve entered the twilight zone where everyone has forgotten that this is the mother of young children. Drinking, promiscuity, sexy pics can all be part of a healthy lifestyle, but when you post this on social media, I question your mental health.
Brandi is great with scripted reality, until she gets drink, and the real her comes out.

Oh yay! I’ve been hanging out for a Glanville/Rimes post and here it is. I’m still not entirely sure why a story about these weirdos makes my day, but there you have it. They are my secret guilty pleasure. No one IRL knows how much I love these creeps ha ha
But seriously, I love Brandi. Always have, always will. Maybe it’s because I feel for her so much, having to deal with that maniac Rimes day in, day out, even now five years down the track after her life was torn apart.
Or maybe it’s because she’s refused to kowtow to Rimes who comes across as a total freaking nutjob on any day ending in Y. Who knows? But I have a real soft spot for her.
This is pretty standard for Brandi. She’s a little wild and can be really silly. Does she take it overboard sometimes.. Of course, but who really cares. Let her be who she is. What LeAnn does on social media is far worse. If the boys end up damaged, it will be cause if their stepmom’s actions, not their mom’s.
Nah, the boys are (or will be) screwed-up because of their parents, first and foremost. Their step-mother isn’t helping, but those boys are ultimately the responsibility of their parents. Those kids did not win the parent lottery.

This persona (or maybe it’s really her, who knows) may be getting her a gig here and there, but I would be concerned about longer-term prospects. Unless she’s planning to be the female H. Stern, I don’t see where this goes in five to ten years.

I thought she was most recently dating Calum Best (sp) from the show and famous for dating the lohan.
I listen to her podcast, because she us actually very good in that format. Recently she had on one of her cast mates from the show somaya (sp) I think?!?!? Whoever she got in a fight with on the first episode and they laughed about how they didn’t get along at first but now are friends. She also talk quite frequently about how her kids know she has a crazy public persona but as they have discussed that’s how she pays the bills so anytime she does stuff like this I just assume it’s to garner stories and social media numbers.
I’m pretty sure Theo Von was at Venice Beach this wknd based off his snapchats. I dont know if that’s close to Brandi or not… I also don’t think she would hide his identity. He’s not famous enough for it to matter or not
Just reading about how “boozy” both she and Leanne can get gives me an upset stomach.
