I loved Kerry Washington’s hair & styling, but I didn’t care for the Brandon Maxwell maternity dress. Those cut-outs! Nope. [Go Fug Yourself]

Oh wow I really disagree. I LOVE her dress and I think she looked like a goddess.

  2. Jess says:

I think Kerry is beautiful (and I’m not just saying that because she went to my university!) but I often don’t like her hair or makeup on the red carpet. Last night she looked stunning! The dress is fine (I don’t love or hate it) but she looks incredible. And I love her hair that way so, so much!

  3. QQ says:

She Looks AMAZING! Super sexy and chill, from the front Not even pregnant looking… Fab!

Jill Soloway and Jerry Tambor not getting their Own Post??!!!? I LOVED what she wore and her Battle cry #ToppleThePatriarchy… Also Jeffrey was super gracious and Kind of amazing asking for inclusivity!

    • detritus says:

      1. Her hair is what jealousy is made of
      2. look at her nails! Understated and I love the gold cuticle half moons.
      3. Tambor is what an ally playing a transgendered person should sound like.
      4. I think #ToppleThePatriarchy is on point, but a hard sell considering half the women out there think feminism is a bad word. Side eye to Meryl and the other humanists.

  4. Ginger Gal says:

    love her!

    Anyone read the Radar report?
Talking about how an A-list family man, someone no one would expect with adoring fans, was responsible for hurting Corey Haim.

According to the other Corey, Haim was molested on the set of Lucas when he was 11.

I’ve seen it mentioned that Charlie Sheen, Martin Sheen and Robery Downey Jr were all in Lucas, but I checked and Charlie Sheen was the only one I could find.

This is bringing me back to Enty and Hmmmmm and I have no clue what is giant lies and what has a kernel of truth.

I don’t want to lose RDJ if it is him (it’s not him, please not him), but whoever is responsible should be punished. I don’t think there should be a statue of limitations when it comes to assault.

    • Tara says:

I don’t think Martin Sheen is A or even A-list, ( would think B?, who knows) Charlie Sheen is nobody’s idea of a family man, so that leaves one possibility out of those three. But who knows if it’s true or not. If Haim said it himself that would be one thing, but if it’s just gossip, then…

I guess I would be in the minority here. Not an RDJ fan. I would be more upset if it was President Bartlett. But yes, whoever it is should be punished.

      • detritus says:

I get confused by what ‘everyone’ thinks vs what celebrity gossips think.
It is actually very different, so I wonder if Sheen is because of his 2 and a half men show?

Both Corey’s have stated it happened, but that the statute of limitations had run out by the time the cops did anything? That was reported back in 2013 I think around when Haim died.

    • lisa says:

i always thought it was charlie sheen

although he doesnt come close to being an A list family man no one would expect

I’m glad someone brought it up. This is no secret in Hollywood, kids were and are abused. Corey Haim took his own life from all the pain, Corey Feldman has been saying for years what is going on,what happened…. will never name names in fear of his life and loved ones. Many kids have come out but seldom get published, money rules that rooster. Why would they, they Roman POLANSKI win an Oscar n Woody Allen gets movies done with dumb starlets praising him while ignoring the Miss kids who actually have spoken up. Its easy for you and I to say justice but that is a different world.

and from the divorce documents Richards presented, she was concerned about the p*rn Charlie was watching. The boys apparently looked underage.

      http://www.thesmokinggun.com/file/charlie-sheen-divorce-bombshell?page=8

He worked with RDJ in a later movie, when RDJ was 19. Lived with him afterwards because Haim’s parents were abusive.

    • Neelyo says:

I was an extra in LUCAS. I got picked to be a ‘featured’ extra so I was situated close to the stars. I saw a lot of Charlie Sheen and Jeremy Piven, the female lead (Kerri ?) but not much Haim. His stand-in was around and was very nice but anxious. She was an adult who just happened to be the same size as Haim. I overheard her talking about how she didn’t know why he was so angry and why he was always so mean to her. I didn’t know who she meant until Haim actually showed up. And he was angry and mean to her.

At the time I just thought he was a Hollywood brat. Now I wonder what else was going on.

      • detritus says:

How was Piven? I want him to be a redeemable person, but it seems like he is not 🙁

And I very much enjoyed that anecdote. Thank you

    • JenniferJustice says:

The Radar article says the abuser is an A-list family man. I hate Sheen, but he is not know as a family man and he was not A-list back then. In fact, I dare say, the Corey’s were bigger stars than he was at the time. I looked at the entire cast and crew and came up with the following possibilities (A list, powerful at the time, family man):

Jeremy Piven (but he doesn’t have children does he, so not a ‘family man’?)
      Joel Schumaker (Producer, Director)
      Martin Weiss (Child Actor Manager)
      Dominick Brascia (actor, director)

Corey Feldman wrote that book about his and Corey’s molestation and he named a guilty party “Tony”. Many think it sounds like Dominick Brascia. I’m leaning toward him b/c he has vehemently denied being “Tony” in Feldman’s book. He claims to have never been formally accused, charged or prosecuted for such a crime, but he doesn’t say he would never do something like that which is what IMO an innocent person would say. He never expresses any compassion toward either of the Coreys. He simply acts angry. He first met Corey Haim when Corey was 14. Brascia was a director on the set of Lucas. He was already successful and powerful in Hollywood. He is married and has a family – always has.

        @JJ
I am thinking it might be a producer as well. A-List producer may not have the same name recognition outside of people working in Hollywood.
I’m thinking of Ailes and others, where they are very powerful, but they aren’t the face of anything. It actually makes their professional shelf-life longer.

There are five movies around the appropriate timeline
        1986 Lucas
        1985 Murphy’s Romance
1985 A Time to Live (TV Movie)
        1985 Silver Bullet
        1985 Secret Admirer

And I just noticed that Gary Busey is named Uncle Red in Silver Bullet. When Haim named his abusers, he named four – Ron (his ‘assistant’), Tony, Burnham and Crimson.

I am also side eyeing Spielberg like hell for introducing Haim to Michael Jackson.

spielberg is the only famous beloved family man he knew at that time that i can think of

This is SO creepy to me. I watched that documentary about it that came out on YouTube. Awful. When will the facts of these allegations come out? They can’t stay a secret forever. It’s sad how money can bury this stuff. I feel like it’s the right of all the victims to be vindicated and the right of movie audiences to know what and who they’re really supporting. I wish some solid investigating and research would be done on this. Talented, determined, vigilante journalists of LA… Get to work. Probably no paper trail exists but more investigation is needed for the victims and their families.

I loved Kerry’s look – on TV the dress looked better than in the still photos, but I really loved her hair like that. I forgot she was pregnant again. She really has her personal life on lock down, good for her.

  7. Tiffany27 says:

Really??? I think Kerry looks AMAZING and absolutely stunning in this dress!

  8. Nancy says:

She looks like vintage Diana Ross and that’s a compliment.

  9. beena says:

    GODDESS.

    EDIT: PERFECT GODDESS.

  10. Michelle says:

In the first pic, she’s giving me shades of Lisa Bonet. This looks suits her very well. She looks lovely. (Gosh, I feel like I’m 90 having used “lovely”). Lol

  11. Naddie says:

    Stunning from head to toe.

  12. SusanneToo says:

The Emmys were fun, but I hope I some point we get a post about the latest disgusting Trump insanity……

Donald Trump said that Hillary Clinton’s “bodyguards” should disarm themselves because Clinton supports gun control during a rally in Miami on Friday. He has made similar remarks in the past, but this time took it a little further.

“Take their guns away,” Trump said. “She doesn’t want guns. Let’s see what happens to her. Take their guns away. It would be very dangerous.”

  13. I Choose Me says:

I’m ambivalent on the dress, I think I would have liked it more without those flaps on the bodice but her hair and styling was so so fab. She’s glowing and beautiful.

  14. Kitten says:

So so pretty. I would kill for her skin–it is FLAWLESS. Le Sigh.

  15. NeoCleo says:

It’s not the worst I’ve seen and her head is fantastic.

  16. Justjj says:

Nicki, shut up your homophobic man. You’re too awesome to put up with bigotry.

  17. Pmnichols says:

She looked stunning!! Loved loved loved.

  18. Ames says:

I don’t like the cut outs. At first glance it looks like she’s shrugging or like her neck is really short. It’s a weird optical illusion for me. However, her hair and makeup are flawless. She’s very beautiful.

  19. Carmen says:

Not a fan of the dress, I don’t like the flaps or the cut-outs, but it’s an improvement over the horrible outfits she usually wears on the red carpet.

I’ve always said whoever dresses Olivia Pope should dress Kerry Washington in real life.

    • lisa2 says:

I don’t like the look at all. I guess I’m in the minority.. but I don’t like it and just couldn’t see what others are seeing.

  20. Anthi says:

Don’t like the dress but her hair and face are flawless. Someone said in the comments she looks like a Greek goddess, as a Greek I approve of this post ;D she does!

  21. source says:

You should tell your grandfather’s story 1) if you want to; and 2)if your family feels right about it. I like the idea of a wrongly accused cop rather a wrongly accused civilian.
