Do you know that it’s been less than five months since the finale of Game of Thrones’ Season 6? The finale was the end of June, and HBO has already said that Season 7 – which will be split into two parts – will likely begin later than usual next year. Meaning that we’ve probably got a solid six or seven month wait before we see new episodes. But all is not lost, because for weeks now, we’ve been getting paparazzi photos from the GoT shoot in Spain. And now someone on Reddit is pulling all of the threads together, plus adding some healthy doses of speculation and possible script leaks, to spoil everything for everyone. So, do you want to know what might happen? Or do you want to be surprised? If you want to be surprised, just stop reading here. MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW.
First of all, you can read all of the theories/spoilers/leaks here on Reddit. Some assorted highlights include: Dany & Jon Snow meeting up in the first three episodes of Season 7; Dany and Jon getting together romantically/sexually by episode 7; Littlefinger is still plotting, but Arya kills him at some point; Bran reunites with Jon and Sansa in the first few episodes; Arya reunites with everyone at some point; GENDRY IS COMING BACK; the Night’s King might kill and then resurrect a dragon; the Wall falls. There’s also speculation that Cersei joins up with Jon and Dany to fight the White Walkers but… I’m not sure if I believe that. There’s also a rumor that Cersei will get pregnant again, possibly by Jaime. Many think that Jaime is overdue for truly understanding that Cersei is batsh-t, balls-out crazy.
What I know for sure is that in Spain, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage were all filming scenes together. I do think that Jon Snow and Dany will meet pretty quickly in the next season, and every storyline is being significantly compressed so that producers can finally be done with it in 13 episodes or so.

OH MY GOD
I know that Jon and Dany hooking up makes sense from a book perspective (Targaryens married siblings a lot, the whole Song of Ice and Fire thing) but my reaction is still the same: eeeeew. She’s his aunt! Eeeeew.
That said, I would be over the moon to finally have a Stark reunion. I also really hope that Sansa keeps progressing and becomes the badass that we’ve seen hints of in S6.
She is his younger Aunt. Age appropriate.
Since I can’t even deal with this, I’ll just stick to talking about the pictures Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) instagrammed the other day of her and some Spanish fans. Apparently they (the fans) were treated with pizza! How nice.
ICE DRAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even tell you how excited I am for this. I knew we would see an ice dragon.
I will say that some of this reads…really bad to me. The wight hunts seem ridiculous. They got their butts handed to them in Hardhome, but they go north of the wall were they know the white walkers are lurking? I mean, if you find a wight, a white walker ain’t far behind.
Cersi does join with Dany and Jon, but it’s trap. She doesn’t send her troop north in hopes that the white walkers will murder and thin out their armies. Again, why anyone would trust Cersi is beyond me. This causes Jamie to abandon her and head north.
Jon and Dany getting together isn’t a surprise. I still think they will marry, but Jon will end up plunging a sword in her chest to forge Lightbringer and destroy the white walkers.
Some of these plot points are a bit out there but some make sense and have been hinted at. Apparently its confirmed that Jon’s name is Aegon and R+L were actually married (R allegedly had his marriage to Elia annulled) at the time of his birth which means he is the rightful heir of the Iron Throne.
The one i want to see happen is Dany letting the dragons loose on Cersi’s army and Arya killing the Fey’s and Littlefinger.
Why would Rheagar name his son with Lyanna Aegon when he’d already had a son with Elia who he personally named Aegon? Targs repeat names, but they’ve never repeated a name in the same generation from the same parent. I guess if I had to choose I’d go with Jaehaerys since it could conceivably fit in with Ned re-naming him Jon.
I’m not convinced he’ll even have a Targaryen name in the books, and Jon might be as simple as Ned naming him for Jon Arryn.
I am so excited for next season!!! I am honestly only interested in Arya meeting up with Sansa. Sansa dealing with Littlefinger Finding out what happens with Yara and Theon. Brienne and Podrick And of course, whether Queen Dany and her team (this includes that charming traitor Jorah) get inside KL. Everything else is either boring or really boring. That WW hunt and working with Cersei is just plain dumb.
I don’t want Jon and Dany together. I would prefer her and Yara and Gendry or replace on with Missandei (if the dragon needs three heads). I think Dany is technically related to Gendry, but it would not be as bad as her and Jon. Also, not every Targ had an incestuous relationship, so there is a precedent for them to not get together.
I thought Jaime was already on to Cersei by the end of season 6. That look on his handsome face certainly said that dawn was showing him Cersei’s real face. As much as I like Cersei, she has outlived her usefulness and so has Jaime.
I wonder if they are going to cut out the end of Dany’s last chapter from book 5 and give it to Cersei on the show instead. I hope neither one end up with that plot point.

I’ve never seen this show and yet I read this whole post. I am that desperate for an escape from national news.
Eh, I told my twin about these spoilers from the “leaked” script, and he said that he read the “leaked” script for season 6 before it came out and none of it was true for the actual show.
I wish Vikings got as much coverage as this show! I’ve been waiting for the return of Ragnar for what feels like infinity!
Ragnar wasn’t looking too good last season…I’m a little worried.

The so-called script leaks are obvious BS, and rest is just speculation based on things we know, like Gendry’s actor coming back and Jon and Dany being together in the Dragon Pit.
