Last week, Steve Harvey did two things which made me sick. One, he met with Emperor Baby Fists at El Tower de Bigly, allegedly to discuss “inner cities” (which is literally Trump-speak for “the blacks”). Harvey got a lot of well-deserved backlash for meeting Baby Fists, although that’s bewildering to me because the meeting seems completely on-brand for Steve Harvey’s misogynistic empire.
The second sickening, Harvey-related thing to happen last week was that Steve Harvey mocked the very idea that women would find Asian men attractive. Harvey did that on his show, and the audience laughed as he did a few minutes full of the worst and most racist Asian-men tropes. Well, Steve Harvey is now apologizing.

“The humor was not meant with any malice or disrespect whatsoever”?? Who is Steve Harvey kidding? Can we cancel dudes like Steve Harvey in 2017? I know there are people who see him as harmless, or a man of God, or a provider of family-friendly entertainment. But he’s not. He needs to go away.

I used to LOVE HIM, just LOVE HIM, and then I read more and listened to what he’s saying and how he’s saying it and now I view him as rather vile. We don’t record his show anymore and I’m not excited to see him hosting a TV show now. 🙁

The creator of Fresh Off the Boat did an interview about what a dink Steve Harvey is, but Huang isn’t the most uncontroversial person, and stuck his foot in his mouth a couple times.
Harvey doesn’t understand what he did was wrong, because he literally sees the world this way. eHarmony style facts don’t say to him ‘wow people are racists a lot’, they just point out biological truths. I think its because all his smarts were in his original teeth.

Miss Universe 2016 is held in the Philippines this year (Jan 29 in the US, Jan 30 in the Philippines) and he is again the presenter. He made the biggest mistake in 2015 by announcing the wrong winner, so this time there is no room for mistakes. No room at all. And he already insulted the whole male population of the host country, to say the least. His comments are pathetic.
By the way, I am rooting for Miss USA to win the crown. I watched all candidates and Deshauna stands out in every single way. (Miss Universe is my guilty pleasure)
