Jesse James thinks celebrities criticize Trump for ‘a bump in fame’

Did you remember that Sandra Bullock’s ex, Jesse James, was on Celebrity Apprentice in 2009? I did not. You probably remember that he’s an unrepentant serial cheater and a Nazi though, which also totally explains his love of Donald Trump. James, no surprise, is a Trump supporter. He gave a new interview to The Daily Mail in which he praised what a great job Trump was doing, citing the fact that Baby Firsts takes world leaders to dinner at his resorts (?), and said that he’s made a special gun for Trump he wants to deliver to him but doesn’t know how to reach him. I’m sure Trump will read about this and be flattered, since he eats up “celebrity” praise like dried up steaks. James remarried in 2013, to a drag racer driver and fellow gun and tattoo enthusiast named Alexis DeJoria, who just happens to be the daughter of John Paul DeJoria, the co-founder of Paul Mitchell haircare and Patron spirits. So her family is really rich. James is making custom guns now instead of tricking out motorcycles and it’s clear from this interview that he hasn’t changed at all. I’m just going to excerpt some of this because it’s predictable and I’m hearing it in my head in James’ pissy baby voice:

On his relationship with DeJoria vs. his earlier marriages
“It’s just a different deal this time and it just happened. I was like, I’m just going to be that old dude who’s single now and never find anybody else, and then it’s like – there she is. We like the same stuff, the same music, the same everything. We like all these things. It makes me look back at other relationships and be like, I was an idiot! What was I thinking? That was never going to work. But I guess that’s how you learn, you know.”

On being caught for cheating
“Yeah, I did cheat on my wife, yeah, I stood up and took accountability for it and apologized. In general, both women and men cheat. It’s part of life. It’s like people love to see you fall. And the farther you get, the higher you get, the more they love it.

“I look at myself now and I look at how I was feeling then, and I think I was completely overreacting as far as letting it really get to me.”

Why he loves Trump
“I know he’s working hard and he’s doing a lot of stuff – like the thing he signed for equality for women. We don’t even know about it and you know why? Because no one does any press on it. They’re all like, oh he hates women. I think he’s doing good.

“I thought, even if he’s not my friend or nothing, it’s kind of bad a** we have a president who can take someone and entertain and probably get that guy to pay more for us to defend them – that’s how it’s done.

“That’s how they do sales meetings – they say let’s go out for dinner and they’ll get the buyer to pay more and that’s how it’s done. I don’t know if Obama was cut out for that.’

People who dislike Trump are out for fame
“It’s all, even the anti-Trump stuff, it’s a little bit a grab at fame. If I tell everybody what an asshole Trump is and how I hate him, then I’ll be on CNN or CNBC. They’re all getting a bump in fame by slamming him.”

[From The Daily Mail]

Did you hear how he talked about Sandra? He was an idiot because he married her and it was never going to work and nothing was his fault because everyone cheats. He’s even upset that he cared that he got called out for it! Nevermind that he regularly picked out tattooed models on MySpace to bang on the coffin couch in his office. I’m not going to get into his deep thoughts on Trump except to say that it’s bullsh-t that Trump signed anything promoting equality. I tried to figure out what James was referring to and it might be the fact that Trump signed laws recently promoting women in STEM fields, which is not the same thing, and declaring March “Women’s History Month.” Nevermind all the other ways that Trump has personally demeaned, harassed and litigated against women. James just seems like such a typical Trump supporter.

Oh and James is also making NRA branded stuff because of course he is.

AND he’s buddies with Kid Rock.

Home is where your other half is… I 💜him

Yes, well-known idiot, please tell me more about your thoughts on this presidency. Shut up, Jesse James.

Also, the NRA logo annoys me (above just being the logo for the NRA) because it looks similar to the Marines logo. When I see the sticker on someone’s car I think, “Oh, someone who sacrificed for their country, how nice.” Then you get closer and see it’s an NRA sticker and think “UGH. NEVERMIND.”

  2. SusanneToo says:

    Buzz off, D-bag.

  3. Squiggisbig says:

He is a pretty accomplished gold digger. I can’t believe he found another wealthy woman to marry him!

    • holly hobby says:

Well I hope John Paul has an iron clad will and he doesn’t leave anything to him.

  4. Harryg says:

This guy is such an idiot.

  5. robyn says:

I guess he’s giving it a shot (talking about Trump to get his own bump, I mean) and hoping it will give HIM a boost. What a horrid horrid horrid jerk. I’ve no doubt Sandra cringes at her own misjudging of him whenever he appears in “celebrity” news.

    • holly hobby says:

I actually saw that season where he was on it. He was fired over the inability to control his anger. He didn’t hit anybody but Orangino pointed out he had anger issues. Plus he was blamed for not calling in favors from Sandy and friends

  6. blatie says:

What an absolute garbage can of a person. Can we agree never to print his picture or publish his words again? He doesn’t deserve the attention.

  7. perplexed says:

What did Sandra Bullock see in him? Did they never see each other?

    • HappyMom says:

      That’s what I wonder too. He’s such a creep. I really wonder about her . . .

    • QueenB says:

I have always side eyed her hard for it. It wasnt like he always presented himself as the sweetest guy and everyone was shocked how he turned out, you know.

    • Don't kill me I'm French says:

She is probably very different of her public image

    • Jessica says:

She’s controlling and he’s dumb. But what controlling people don’t realize is that you cannot control stupidity. She would have been better off marrying a Harvard doctor.

    • Tate says:

I will never understand. He is not good looking and clearly not very intelligent. Why Sandra, why?

    • Nn says:

Ok so here’s a few things I’ve gathered about her throughout the years and for some reason these things have stuck with me. I am not a fan or a hater, I am neutral about her, the same way I am about 99% of these celebs.
She just happened to work with some people i either found attractive or whose work I enjoyed when I was younger.

I remember michael pitt saying in an interview she was like a “mean bitchy cheerleader” when he worked with her on a movie with him and Ryan gosling. Can’t remember the name of the movie, too lazy to Google. Basically he did not like her and said she is fake and not at all what she presents herself to be.
I remember keanu reeves interview with Howard stern when he was with his band dogstar and Howard said she sucks and isn’t a good actress and all her movies are the same and speed 2 sucked and she had a nose job blah blah…keanus band mate then said all her movies are like one big movie and said some other rude stuff about her and keanu did not defend her, in fact he agreed with the guy and said speed 2 sucked and nodded when they were talking smack about Sandra. He did not seem to like her at all.
Even when they did that lakehouse movie, there was an interview where he seemed really annoyed with her and rolled his eyes at her.

Other stuff: I heard she is a germanophile and very into German history and made comments about Jesse’s kids light hair and eyes, like she was bragging about it? Really odd but it stuck with me because I found it so strange, this was before the nazi memoribilia came out.
Also there was some incident at her house and when the police came her kids (the ones she adopted) were not with her in the home? Like it was late at night and it was a weekday which maybe doesn’t sound strange but combine that with her kids only living with her part time and her father and other relatives basically raise the kids it all seems strange.
Again, I don’t know how I remember this or why but it just stuck me as weird when I heard it.
I don t know much about sandra, haven’t seen many of her movies but she seems charismatic from what I have seen but also a bit put on, but then again what famous a lister isn’t? There’s other stuff but can’t remember at the moment.

      • Cherise says:

Wait, I got none of that from the Keanu interview. He was on a Stern interview and he just seemed to be trying to survive the freight train. He speaks very warmly of her everywhere else I have seen him. I dont just mean a casual “yeah, shes fine”, he is very effusive about her. As for Michael Pitt who would put any stock in anything he says? He is unemployable now because of all the drama he brings on sets. I mean even Steve Buschemi couldn’t stand him and the Boardwalk Empire producers had to fire him. He and Gosling reportedly didnt get along either. So if he said that, she probably just put her foot down on his behavior on set and he got pissed. I also wouldnt be surprised that he got a case of the jealousies when Ryan Gosling started dating Sandra too. She was afterall the boss and he may have worried that Ryan would get an edge in editing or whatever. Either way , Michael Pitt is the worst. Second worst after Jesse anyway.

      • Don't kill me I'm French says:

Pitt is not a reference about decency.
He sexually harassed and morally harassed Eva Green during their filming.According to her former French agent, she was ready to go to the police if Pitt ‘s agent was not intervened

Sandra Bullock is germanophile because her mother was German and Sandra was raised at Nuremberg ( Germany) during her teen years.

Keanu Reeve always praised Bullock ( even recently during John Wick 2 promotion)

      • Sketches says:

Germanophile because she speaks German and her mother was German? it’s actually okay to like Germany. German is not a synonym for Nazi.

      • SusanneToo says:

During the JW2 promo interviews Keanu said they were looking for a project to do together. They’re friends. And IIRC, at the time of the breakin Sandra had attended a late running event and the kids stayed at the nanny’s house.

      • smcollins says:

Wow @NN for someone who is “neutral” about SB you certainly provided quite the write-up. You’re real (non-neutral) feelings seem pretty clear, but okay…

      • elimaeby says:

I agree with Sketches here. I love German history and speak fluent German. I lived in Eisenach (just near Weimar) for two summers. I’m also a queer woman with black family members. I’m the antithesis of a Nazi. Loving Germany (which is a lovely place these days) and being interested in your roots does not a Nazi make.

      • holly hobby says:

All the press I read about Sandra and Keanu were always positive. They got along like brother and sister. Matthew MacConahey thinks highly of her too.

I’m sure that jerk knew how to sweet talk women when it suited him. I mean he got another heiress!

      • Bridget says:

What planet are you on? Keanu and Sandra are TIGHT. He even came out with Hugh Grant and McConoughey to present her a ridiculous award not that long ago. And way after the Dogstar days ended Keanu and Sandra did another movie together.

People make the weirdest inferences here. “He can’t possibly have presented himself well, so she must therefore be a closet Nazi”

This woman is RENOWNED for being one of the nicest, kindest people in Hollywood. That literally everyone likes.

    • Nicole says:

I’m thinking she’s not as wholesome as people think.

    • Bridget says:

What is wrong with people here? It’s easier to figure that someone is a closet Nazi rather than just has bad taste in men and thought her husband was more “rough around the edges” than “cheating bastard”?

    • Jay says:

Is it possible that Sandra Bullock is human and capable of making wrong judgments on people? I’ve dated dirtbag guys and had crazy feelings for them. I never married them, thank god, but I totally believe that some people suck you in and charm you into not seeing their worse sides. You end up believing you can make them better. And then, once it’s over and the truth is blatant, you wonder what on earth you ever saw in them. Then you move on with your life and hopefully learn to spot their behavior. Like constantly wearing hats all the way down to their eyebrows. Seriously, why do these bald-headed assholes think that is the look?

  8. Carol Hill says:

Just what we need to hear, another mansplaining bro. Lucky us.

  9. D says:

Kid Rock needs to learn trigger discipline.

  10. Lucy2 says:

Says the guy still talking about his ex-wife for attention.
He is disgusting on every level.

  11. minx says:

What “thing he (Trump) signed for equality for women?” What a tool. Typical dumb Trump supporter.

    • Radley says:

Golly, we’re all equal now and didn’t even know it! Trump, the p*ssy inspector, selflessly fixed that for us. Didn’t even expect a thank you. What a guy. Thanks for enlightening us about the “thing”, Jesse.

  12. mrspanda says:

He seems to have the maturity of a 12 year old (no offence to 12 year olds). What was Sandra thinking!? (I do remember him on the Apprentice also, he was incredibly boring). Let’s hope he gets the bump in fame he’s hoping for after supporting Trump… that would take him up to the E list I guess!

    • Cherise says:

I remember that too. He didnt call on his connections with her and Trump fired him for it. And he was very quiet and didnt have any beef with other contestants which is unusual on that show. So yeah, I remember thinking that perhaps thats why Sandra liked him. That maybe he was interested in her and not her celebrity, and was trying to build his business without leaning on her. Turns out he is the one who actually deserved the Oscar.

  13. adastraperaspera says:

Says the man who married a celebrity for “a bump in fame.”

  14. Zuzus Girl says:

The more you talk, the uglier you look.

“I’m just going to be that old dude who’s single now and never find anybody else, and then it’s like – there she is. We like all these things.” Like her Millions. God he is dumb as a sock but apparently she is even dumber.

  15. AnnaKist says:

This wanker needs to take a large dose of STFU.

  16. Lucy says:

Those pictures of him with Sandra the night she won the Oscar are infuriating. Remember how everything fell apart just a few days later? And why do people even care what he thinks nowadays? He’s nothing.

    • Nancy says:

Nobody cares what he says. The Daily Mail loves to piss people off with asshats like he and those with similar agendas: any Gosselin, Betheny Frankel, any reality person thinks they’re relevant for their two seconds in the headlines or as he says: “it’s a little bit a grab at fame.” I can’t bad mouth Sandra Bullock but I certainly question her taste in men. At least she’s rid of him now, but he will NEVER stop talking about her.

  17. Radley says:

Sandra…girl. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??? 110% douchebag. And not the sharpest knife in the drawer either.

  18. Patricia says:

Well thanks for the insight, Nazi!

  19. Kitten says:

Trash. We all know he’s a racist so not surprising he’d be all over Trump’s nuts.

    • Shambles says:

Not at all. And in reading this, and other “thoughts” from people who support Trump, a pattern is becoming so clear.

My god, they’re all the f*cking same, aren’t they? No wonder this group voted for him. He is the king of crassness, baseness, and depravtity, traits which existed long before he came onto the political scene. These trashy ass people have been around forever, they were just waiting for their dear orange leader to come along and validate their feelings.

  20. Jessica says:

To be honest I thought some of the comments people made about President Obama were for attention. For instance Byron Allen called PBO a ‘house negro’ and I genuinely believe it was for attention because his company was going through a dispute with the FCC I believe. ‘

I hate JJ but he’s not completely wrong in that some people will use speaking out against Trump to bring attention to themselves.

    • Zuzus Girl says:

You are probably right. Their are always people who will use politicians (one side or the other) to boost their own profiles. He’s still a dick.

  21. Heat says:

…says the guy who is desperately seeking a bump in fame.

  22. Pandy says:

Or, you know, the bump in fame for supporting Trump ….

  23. The Other Katherine says:

Ironic that he’s talking about people commenting on Trump to get a fame bump, seeing as I had entirely forgotten his existence until reading this article.

Go back to spending your wife’s money, fame’ho — stick with what you excel at.

  24. Dee says:

I agree with him but the fact is any time a celebrity is speaking into a microphone it’s for a bump in fame. And so is his comment,

The only thing I want from celebrities is for them to sing, dance, act, paint, artistically perform or play ball. That’s what my entertainment dollar goes for. Otherwise their opinions are like derrières– every one has one but few people are actually interested in yours. And I couldn’t care any more or less about theirs than I do about that of my postal carrier.

    • Otaku fairy says:

Well, that’s nice that you and others may want celebrities to just keep quiet and sing, act, etc. But, like, I’m pretty sure that it’s not ALL about you, and that’s not how things work. As citizens they’re just as entitled to voice criticism of a politician as anyone else, and if criticism of Trump, Gannon, Pence, their complicit supporters, etc. gets to be too triggering for some conservatives or libertarians they can always limit their exposure to it.

    • SusanneToo says:

BS! We now have a D-list, reality show garbage dump as Commander in Chief. I’m all for A-list celebs bashing him as he’s always lusted to be one of them.

      • Dee says:

I agree, We do, But he was elected to be president, Not by me, not by you, but nonetheless it is a fact. So now he’s POTUS.

If any of these opinionated celebs want to be president, they too should run and then I’ll be interested in their opinions so I can decide to vote for them or not. (I listened to TRump and then I didn’t vote for him.)

But Until they declare their candidacy, sure they are free to voice their opinion — and I’m free to not give a shit.

Hollywood was clearly pro HRC, but it didn’t help her Get elected. At the end of the day, 52% of voting Americans cast a vote for someone else. I suspect that many “spite” votes (e.g., never HRC) were cast on the basis of slanted media support and celebrity endorsements. No adult really wants to be lectured to about who they “should” vote for. Not by Meryl, not by Clint, or Susan S, or Jon Voight, or this cheating bozo either.

      • SusanneToo says:

Most of the celebs who speak out have the intelligence to know they’re not presidential material, unlike the Dumpster Fire in Chief. I’ll continue to appreciate their comments as much as I do those of civilians, professional politicians, and journalists.

    • Stacey says:

      What a stupid, condescending post.

Anyone who pays taxes in this country has the right to speak out about who is President. Celebrities, athletes, etc, have every right to speak out as anyone else. Everyone has the right to speak out sweetie. Even you.

  25. Beth says:

Yeah Jesse. It’s so “bad @ss” to have a president like Trump. Barf. Another Trump supporter who doesn’t have a clue

  26. QQ says:

We really don’t need to give this Nazi Thirsty has been “ex husband of” F*ck any more country or coverage tbh think of him like a Shittier Elisabetha Cannalis Type, we need to wash our hands from these people after “celeb of note” is done with them, particularly walking garbage types like this, lets all sit together and face it, the Only redeemable thing to come out of this guy is possibly the seed that took to make his children which hopefully are in any way changeable from the trash ass thoughts/behavior/ideas they are growing up around ( To Be Clear in Case this needs to be said cause I KNOW YA’LL This isn’t about him being covered in tatts Is about every awful sh*t Sandwich that comes out of his mouth, his not so covert white nationalism dog whistle ass life and the fact he is unrepentant about any of it)

  27. Don't kill me I'm French says:

All NRA supporter is just a Big NO for me.Why do they look white trash?

  28. Anastasia says:

I hope everyone who supports the NRA starts wearing shirts all the time with a GIANT NRA logo on it, so I can know who they are.

  29. Cee says:

    Gold digger supreme, this one.

  30. zappy says:

civilians cant really buy those big guns in USA, right? those are killer machine..
ugh.. and posing with guns like that, disgusting !!!

    • The Other Katherine says:

Oh, yes, Zappy, civilians in the U.S. can absolutely buy extended-magazine semi-automatic rifles. I believe pretty much any 18-year-old without a felony conviction or a restraining order can buy one in most states. Horrifying, I know. (And I say this as an American who grew up in a rural area where everyone owned rifles and shotguns for hunting.)

  31. Olenna says:

Look who’s talking. Pot. Kettle. He’s need to crawl back into whatever WS-NN bunker he slithered out of.

  32. hogtowngooner says:

I thought Trump fans thought celebrities were supposed to keep their traps shut about politics?

  33. Whyme says:

Yeah like that nobody Meryl Streep. Who would even know who she is if she didn’t talk about Trump.

And Kristen Stewart? Yeah, I know, go google her name because nobody knows who she is.

JK Rowling. Another nobody just trying to make a buck off of Trump.

But Jesse James (did he rename himself so people would remember his name?) isn’t talk about Trump to get his name out there. Don’t be silly!!

  34. Stella in NH says:

I don’t see how this POS is relevant in the gossip column. Isn’t he like a Q list person?

  35. Littlestar says:

Aww another racist white American male loves Trump, shocker.

  36. Disco Dancer says:

Someone is still interviewing the guy who banged a woman by the name of Michelle “Bombshell” McGee?

  37. Jay says:

I would like to point out the ridiculousness of that NRA ad with the man and the woman. It’s like someone at the meeting said “we are trying to sell our stuff, but we need the focus to be on men gazing at breasts for it to work”
