Now there’s a secondhand account that Mel, Stephen and Victoria had a drunken threesome about ten years ago and that they had an open marriage before their split. This news appears in UK outlet The Sun and it’s told from someone who heard it from Victoria, allegedly. Mel has had relationships with women in the past and there’s speculation after this story that her open relationship with Stephen led to the demise of her marriage.
A friend of the 40-year-old former ‘It girl’ alleges that she enjoyed a steamy threesome with the couple, both 41, who are currently in the midst of a divorce.
The claims date back to 2007, but the revelation was made amid accusations that the ‘open’ nature of Mel and Stephen’s relationship led to the demise of their 10-year marriage.
It also follows an Instagram picture that resurfaced this week, purporting to show Stephen in a clinch with two women, one – he joked – being his wife.
The friend of Lady Victoria told The Sun: ‘It was all a blur and everyone was very drunk, especially Lady Victoria.
‘She told me one minute they were laying in bed watching a movie together, then they got carried away and Stephen was on top of her and Mel was kissing her.
‘Next thing she can remember they all woke up naked in bed in the morning.’
Mel, who previously enjoyed a four-year romance with girlfriend Christa Parker, lived in LA around the same time Lady Victoria resided there, 10 years ago.
Lady Victoria reportedly watched her appearances on Dancing With The Stars, and they were said to enjoy frequent nights out following the show.
The source added that the ‘night of passion’ happened in November 2007.

Speaking to the Guardian in 2014, Mel denied having an open relationship with Stephen, adding: ‘No, me and my husband are very tight and solid.’
A lot of people have open marriages and while it’s not my thing, but I guess it can work for some couples if they establish boundaries. I think Mel and Stephen split because he was abusive. He has a history of domestic assault on his former girlfriend and an arrest record. Plus Mel showed up to work at X Factor with bruises on her face. This makes me wonder who is leaking this news about them. Is it Victoria, is it Stephen in an attempt to smear Mel for divorcing him, or did The Sun get a tip and/or write some creative fiction? I’m thinking it’s Stephen but I don’t have any insider information on that. His house was just raided for guns (cops didn’t find anything) so he probably wants to deflect from that story. It’s not shocking or demeaning to Mel at all, if they had an agreement what goes on behind closed doors is their own business. It does seem like this story is meant to deflect from something else that went wrong, especially because it’s just so long ago. They had a threesome ten years ago and it wasn’t cheating.
