Over the weekend, The Sun reported that Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt are happening. The Sun’s witness claimed they were having drinks (well, Brad was apparently not drinking alcohol) and canoodling and what have you. The claim was that Sean Penn set them up or introduced them, which was enough for me to call shenanigans – Charlize still won’t talk about whatever went down with Penn, and I really don’t think they even speak anymore. Thankfully, People Magazine has a much better explanation for all of this: Charlize and Brad met last year doing these ads for Breitling watches. And now I think Breitling is sponsoring their love:
Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron met last year on a commercial shoot, a sources tells PEOPLE after rumors surfaced of a relationship between the two.
“About six months ago, they did a shoot together. So they have spent time together,” the source says. “But anything that may have happened beyond that remains to be seen.”
Pitt, 55, and Theron, 43, shot an ad for watch brand Breitling last year with Adam Driver. The company released a sneak peek at the campaign back in September on their Facebook page.
Yeah, so now we have proof (!!) that they’ve met and breathed in the same space for advertising purposes. But does it follow that now they’re secretly dating? I have no idea. I think they make a lot of sense on paper, and lord knows I don’t think much of Charlize’s picker, so maybe they are happening.
Here’s a little clip of the Breitling shoot or something. While I find Adam Driver to be mega-sexy in an offbeat way, he really doesn’t “fit” in these ads with Charlize and Brad. It looks like the Day After The World’s Most Awkward Threesome.

I genuinely would quite like them as a couple, and this certainly makes more sense than the idea that Sean Penn set them up (which, lol). I kinda doubt it though, I don’t think Charlize would be all that interested in him.

I think Breitling is likely involved in the mix somehow, but not in the way we think.
There’s a blind on blind gossip that intimates that Charlize is looking up with someone from the Breitling ads, but not necessarily Brad. I think Brad is rolling with the story because it looks good for him.
Adam would be the much better choice.
Adam Driver makes a lot more sense, and jibes with the Charlize that spent years with Stuart Townsend. But he’s married, so I doubt it.
There have been a fair few blinds alluding to the breakdown of his marriage for a while now. I believe they even split for six months or so during 2017, so I wouldn’t count him out.
I was one of the videos for this campaign and Adam looked exquisitely uncomfortable. Guess Brad and Charlize have more experience at selling overpriced stuff.

If the media is looking for similarities between the two women, here there are. Although they’d probably disqualify Charlize from ever wanting anything to do with Brad if what reportedly went down on the plane is true.

I completely agree. I have a theory that Angelina is totally either in a very quiet relationship or has some casual “friends” she spends time with on the DL. Brad definitely knows this, hence the constant “Brad’s TOTALLLLLY moved on, guys. Sources say he’s dating (insert most recent beautiful woman he’s worked with here) and they are SO IN LOVE! Angie who?!” I’d feel bad for him if I didn’t know what a pathetic, abusive ass he is.

The ET source is clearly Pitt’s PR trying to stroke his ego. The wording is eerily similar to his Neri Oxman dating PR. You missed out the part “They would make a great new power couple.” Charlize PR shut it all down.

Just saw the denial. Its definitely from Theron’s team, she’s not playing this game with him and yes it was swift and matter of fact. Pitt is just so full of drama and has showed who he really is, I doubt any established actress would want be bothered with him.

This nonsense started with a ludicrous story in THE SUN of Pitt/Theron making out at Chateau Marmont. The only think dumber than believing it, is blaming Pitt for “planting” it.
I’m not arguing what you say, LadyT, but I am curious about your opinion; that story mentioned 3 times that Brad wasn’t drinking or was drinking soda water. Can’t an argument can be made that it sounds like something his PR would say?
The Sun (super low-tier tabloid) placed Pitt in a bar, remarking on whether or not he was drinking is just more filler people might find of interest and click on. I personally think there is zero truth to this story or any chance Pitt’s team is behind it.

it’s worth repeating that this is typical of any PR manipulations to generate news for their clients. Just leak certain tidbit to some low-tier trashy tabloids and then send out the denials to multiple outlets. Win-win situation for their clients. Who’s to say which is the truth. They all say ‘sources’ but at the end of the day, certain clients get some good gossip news to reflect some of the negative news or to keep so and so relevant in the spotlight. MORE IMPORTANTLY: Adam Driver can GET IT. I’ve always liked men who are handsome in unconventional ways, but it’s more than that with him. It’s kind of in how he moves and how damn big he is. Guh. I want to climb him like a tree. Plus, I’ve watched him in a lot of interviews and he’s SO SHY AND WONDERFUL. Shy guy? EXTRA attractive. And the work he does for the arts in the military is amazing.
Have you seen his TED talk? That sealed the deal for me! He has a marvelous combination of strength, vulnerability , humor and self awareness.
Here for Daniel Wu, really. He’s the hottest of the three guys. In Asia, the Breitling billboard shows Brad, Charlize and Daniel. Wish it could’ve been Adam instead, as I would have kicked out Brad.
