Zac Efron, 31, is dating a 23-year-old Olympic swimmer named Sarah Bro. The first reported sighting of the new couple was in January, when they were spotted together at a fitness class. Last Friday, both Sarah and Zac attended the LA Kings hockey game, which the Kings lost and I’m totally blaming it on these two. No one has come out to say they were together, but we do know that this was Sarah’s very first hockey game and the team just happened to have a custom jersey waiting for her. The very next night, the two were seated right next to each at the UFC 235 fight in Las Vegas.
Could this be the start of something new? Zac Efron and Olympian Sarah Bro sparked dating rumors after being spotted together multiple times in recent months.
The Greatest Showman star, 31, and the swimmer, 23, sat next to each other during the UFC 235 fight at T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas area on Saturday, March 2. An eyewitness told E! News that the pair “looked like they were having a great time” while sitting ringside, though they were “not overly publicly affectionate.” They reportedly arrived at and left the MMA event together.
The outing came two days after Efron and Bro attended the Los Angeles Kings vs. Dallas Stars game at Staples Center in L.A. While it is unclear whether they went together or separately, they both shared photos from the night out on their respective Instagram accounts. The actor snapped a selfie in the stands with a black Kings cap pulled down over his eyes, and the Copenhagen, Denmark, native posed in the team’s locker room while wearing a custom jersey with her name and the number 19 on the back. (Bro follows Efron on the social media app, but he does not follow her.)
Zac got his new platinum ‘do right around the first time he was seen with Sarah. I wonder if the two are related? Like, ‘hey look, we match!’ Sarah dropped social media hints about their status, like this photo to her Instagram Stories of a bouquet of flowers she’d received but coyly omitted who’d sent them. But as the rules of coupledom go, until he at least follows her, they aren’t social media official. Two months of being spotted in the same locations with mild contact does not convince me we should be making up a portmanteau for these two (too late I’ve already done it – DoucheBro). They’re definitely a hot couple, let’s see how long it lasts. But don’t tell Simone Biles or the next Olympics committee will wonder why the pool keeps getting drained overnight.

Zac actually comes off as kind of self-aware and funny? Just based on the roles he’s taken in Neighbors and Baywatch, specifically, as those are the only two movies of his I’ve seen. So, I don’t hate him. I kinda don’t think he’s a douche, either.
Same here! I actually find him very likable. “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” is another silly one but he was very funny in it.

By all accounts he’s a nice guy who has leaned heavily into his love of all things athletic and
spends his time working out and being healthy
So whatever wagon he had fallen off, he was able to see he had a problem and get serious about his career and health and I admire that.
You can see for yourself on instagram that he recently had knee surgery after an injury (iirc it was while skiing) and is working really hard every day to recover. And he has humility and gratitude for it every day.

But it is not crazy to think someone can lose their way and go astray and then when they are caught and humiliated and forced to look in the mirror- for them to choose to get their shit together. We often assume they have to have dramatic falls that go on for years ala Lohan, but I think he is just not that ind of person.

I think he has a good team and when he’s around the right people, he’s not a douche, however when he was hanging with James Franco et al, he came off very douche-y. He seems to follow whatever crowd he’s in which worries me when it comes to him and relationships…they probably met through friends.
