Is Brad Pitt wearing a toupee or some kind of hairpiece? An investigation.

There have been a few times in the past, say, seven years where I thought Brad Pitt looked a bit “fresh,” meaning he had a little something done to his face. Nothing major, and nothing that ever made him look like an entirely new person. Just some subtle, expensive adjustments here and there. Perhaps a smidge of Botox, perhaps some very good eye work, maybe something for the ageing jowls. I seriously don’t know if he actually got work, that’s how good the work was. Anyway, even though I was somewhat convinced that he was getting some cosmetic work on his face, I always sort of believed that his head of hair was natural. I believed he was blessed with a good head of hair and he received no help from wigs, toupees, extensions, what have you. But I’m starting to wonder.

These are photos of Brad, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie and Quentin Tarantino at the photocall for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Brad obviously wants us to think that he’s grown out his hair to shaggy ‘90s perfection. But is it really his hair? In some of the photos, it really does look like a hairpiece, or at the very least, like he’s got some kind of weave or something. His face looks good though – as I said, he knows when to say “when” for that sh-t. If anything, I suspect maybe just a sprinkling of Botox. He doesn’t want to look 29 again, he just wants to look “really good for 55.”

In addition to all of that, Brad decided to “photobomb” Margot a few times. How hip!

    I appreciated this investigation.

Nah. As someone who wear wigs quite often and am pretty good at spotting weaves, toupees and wigs his hair looks natural to me. Outside of the color of course which he has had expertly – and expensively – done. Great lowlights and highlights

  3. minx says:

I don’t know what to make of his hair. It looks real, I guess?….just unkempt. His face looks better now, he looks like a 55 year old man and not a smooth waxy mannequin.

    • LadyT says:

The pictures of him around Allied were not good. Oddly puffed and buffed, smooth and waxy. It looked terrible.

      • Kebbie says:

Allied was definitely his low point, or when he kept wearing those blue glasses. That was around when The Big Short came out and he started filming Allied shortly after.

      • LadyT says:

Ha- forgot about those ugly blue glasses.

    • Millenial says:

His face looks better than it did, but it’s weirdly asymmetrical. More asymmetrical than I remember. Nostrils are oddly different shaped. His goatee is lopsided. It’s bugging me.

He looked really good a couple years ago at the Okja premiere. Hair was shorter and spikier. No try hard blonde highlights. He should stick with that styling.

      • ChillyWilly says:

Yeah those highlights and the flat ironed shag is dangerously approaching Keith Urban territory. No Bueno. I don’t think it’s a wig though.

  4. Chaine says:

He looks like Colin Farrell in disguise.

  5. Becks1 says:

I think its his real hair, but I agree that he has had some work done, but its good work. He’s not trying to look young, just trying to “look good for 55” like Kaiser said.

  6. lucy2 says:

The whole look is very try hard casual.
I remember a while back, one of the last red carpets he and Angelina did together, his face definitely looked tweaked. Whatever he’s had done does look much more natural now though.

  7. SM says:

If it’s real, did he go to his hairdresser and asked for A Rachel haircut?

  8. Div says:

No, it looks like his real hair. It’s just oddly styled to look “naturally unkempt.” He’s always had a lot of thick, natural hair.

  9. Lila says:

He’s worn wigs in the past. Good wigs, but wigs nonetheless. Hairline changing shape is one of the telltale signs. My money would be on this being a good wig.

  10. Ally says:

I loathe every a-hole associated with this miserable project.

The good news is that Uma’s attempted murderer hasn’t been able to secure funding for his dumbass Star-Trek-with-swears movie.

  11. amadabasura says:

He has worn weaves for years.

  12. Jegede says:

Not a surprise he has his crown.

Brad’s dad and brothers all heave full heads of hair. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

A la the famous Kennedyesue hair, Reagans, Brolins et al – our hair is genetic.

  13. Lilian says:

Come on now, I like this site even with all the bias towards some celebrities, but how freaking blind someone has to be to try to pass his hair as a wig?

  14. Peter says:

    Umas attempted murderer!

    GOOD POINT.

    • LadyT says:

While directing he had Uma do a driving stunt that was too much and dangerous, which he regrets and apologized for. She got out of the car shaken but smiling. Not what I call attempted murder.

      • lucy2 says:

Definitely not attempted murder. But definitely reckless with her safety, and actually a pretty severe accident.

According to Uma, she didn’t want to do it, and then he yelled at her until she agreed to do the stunt. After the crash, you can see she’s injured her head and neck, and had to go to the hospital. She’s then said they had a big fight about it after and their relationship was strained for a long time. It was a pretty serious thing.

      • LadyT says:

        Thanks for the accurate description.

  15. Lala11_7 says:

    It’s his hair…..

  16. Mona says:

    He looks great

  17. sommolierlady says:

Just looks like a bad haircut.

  18. Ana Maria says:

I think it’s his real hair, but looks like he hasn’t washed it in a week

  19. Kebbie says:

I don’t think his hair looks fake

    • Lady D says:

I don’t think it’s fake hair either, but I’ve recently learned that I can’t tell when someone is wearing a wig or hair pieces.

  20. DahliaDee says:

    Who cares?

  21. Katebush says:

He looks great way better than the last few years with Angie tbh

  22. Rockclimbing says:

I instinctively took a second closer look at the pics as well because the hairstyle is so different from his usual scruffy short-crop. So is the consensus that he probably had a professional wash, deep conditioning, expert blow-dry and styling, and all that stuff, which made it look so Keith-Urban-ish (thanks to poster up-thread for that), but no plugs or weaves?

Came across a random post on another forum about how he was obviously (to that poster’s eyes anyway) happiest when he was with Goop. That poster put up a whole bunch of GP-and-BP pics. OMG, never saw it back then and have never been a crushing-on-Pitt fan but he was *absolutely beautiful* in Seven. Ageing must be seriously hard for him.
