As a card carrying 80s Youth, I always believed there was some unspoken rule that I was supposed to hold some form of reverence for musician Phil Collins because he was such a huge part of the soundtrack of my adolescence. And for decades I upheld that rule, always giving Phil props when his name was spoken. I did feel sorry for him when he started suffering from all his physical issues, which were severe but became urban legend in the gossip threads. But at some point it became abundantly clear that Phil’s personal life was, in fact, very messy.

In 2006 Phil divorced his third wife, Orianne Cevey, after six years of marriage. The couple have two sons. The relationship was notable for a few reasons: 1) it started prior to (and was the reason for) Phil leaving wife number two. Wife two, Jill Tavelman, is Lily Collins’ mom. Phil dumped her via fax. 2) Phil and Orianne’s was the largest divorce settlement in British history and 3) in 2016, before Orianne was divorced from her second husband, Charles Mejjati, Phil and Orianne moved back in together, but never officially remarried. 4) Orianne reportedly did not return any of the settlement to Phil, even after they reconciled. That alone would be enough for Days of Our Lives to request the rights but no, the Phil/Orianne Affair wasn’t done. Phil is currently in the process of trying to evict Orianne from their Florida home that she is refusing to vacate. Why is Phil being such a hard ass to his ex-wife/on-again girlfriend? Because Orianne took a business trip to Las Vegas last August and secretly married yet another guy while she was there!

Phil Collins is reportedly taking steps to evict ex-wife Orianne from his Florida mansion.

The “In the Air Tonight” singer, 69, originally split from Orianne, 46, in 2006 after six years of marriage, and the two reconciled 10 years later, entering a relationship again after she divorced investment banker Charles Mejjati. Collins reportedly paid Orianne, a jewelry designer, $46.68 million in their 2008 divorce.

Now, TMZ reports, Collins and Orianne — who share sons Nicholas, 19, and Matthew, 15 — have called it quits again, and she allegedly refuses to vacate their home.

The outlet claims Orianne married another man in August after telling Collins she was taking a business trip to Las Vegas. Citing sources close to the musician, TMZ said Collins gave Orianne until Friday afternoon to pack her bags and leave, but she refused and allegedly threatened him to renegotiate their divorce settlement. The outlet also reported that Collins intends to file an eviction lawsuit this week.

A rep for Collins had no comment. Orianne’s attorney, Frank Maister, did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Maister said in a statement to The Sun: “We will deal with Mr. Collins in the courthouse, not the gossip column.”

I mean, I don’t know Floridian family law but surely Orianne has no case, even for palimony. I can’t imagine she has any renegotiation power for her massive 2006 divorce settlement, with the possible exception of child support for the minor son (adjusted for inflation). Even then – get out of the poor man’s house! Like, maybe he left the toilet seat up again, but you married somebody else on the sly.

Phil may be messy but it’s hard to believe he deserves this kind of Dynasty-level drama. Who knows though? Right now, a good old-fashioned celebrity divorce scandal could be just what the doctor ordered for our pandemic blues. I know I should take the high road and hope for a speedy resolve. But who are we kidding, I want rich-people dirty laundry spread up and down the Florida coast.
