Dan Wootton: Prince William will never ‘forgive’ Meghan for saying words about Kate

Britain's Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, foreground centre, sits with Prince Willia

Several weeks ago, Dan Wootton wrote a truly unhinged and deeply unsettling “open letter” to Prince William. Wootton has moved from the Sun to the Daily Mail, and it seems like Wootton has been given free rein to be as creepy as he wants to be, especially re: Baldingham. I hoped that some DM editor would have realized that Wootton’s open letter made *everybody* look bad, but no. That part of it wasn’t even a story, the “why are royal commentators writing f–ked up fan-fiction love letters to the Future Future King?” part. Instead, Wootton has been given the space to basically speak for Team Baldemort, and this week’s column is a doozy. Did you know that Kensington Palace still wants to endlessly litigate and relitigate Meghan and Kate’s bridesmaid beef before the Sussexes’ wedding? Did you know that Prince William is engorged with rage at the mere mention of Meghan? Some highlights from Wootton’s Stalker Journal:

Prince William is full of rage towards Meghan: “The level of bitterness and rancour between the Duke of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex has, if anything, been underplayed, I understand. Wills was angry about the behaviour of his sister-in-law for well over a year. And that was before she sat down with Oprah Winfrey to attack his beloved wife and then accuse his flesh and blood of racism and uncaring behaviour towards someone with mental health issues.

William struggles with any emotion besides anger: “While William is acutely conscious of his responsibilities as a future king to try and keep the family together, those close to him believe he will struggle to ever forgive Meghan for the damage she has unleashed.

A senior royal insider Wootton: “Much has been made of the troubles between Kate and Meghan, and William and Harry – but perhaps the biggest strains now exist between William and Meghan. First and foremost, William cannot countenance the way Meghan has treated his wife. He feels Kate tried at the beginning, but it was never enough. Kate attempted to try and help Meghan understand the responsibilities of royal life, but her efforts were constantly misinterpreted. But to name Kate so publicly during the Oprah interview as the person who made her cry was beyond the pale. Meghan would have been acutely aware that Kate is powerless to fight back. Despite her growing confidence in public, Kate is a deeply sensitive woman who likes to stay behind-the-scenes as much as possible to support her family and the country. William thinks the way she has been treated is unfair.”

William questioned Meghan’s motives: After Meghan entered the family officially, William began to question some of her motives. Another senior royal source explains: ‘William soon began to wonder about some of Meghan’s traits and motivations. He was worried that at times she seemed to be more concerned about her personal progression or profile over the wider goals and aims of the Royal Family. But he largely kept any reservations to himself as he desperately wanted her to be happy and appreciated the huge adjustment of entering the Royal Family. Following Megxit though, everything changed. He could no longer hide his true feelings because he felt like she had publicly attempted to disrespect his family and the Queen.’

[From The Daily Mail]

Whew, this is a lot of BS. “But to name Kate so publicly during the Oprah interview as the person who made her cry was beyond the pale. Meghan would have been acutely aware that Kate is powerless to fight back.” The entire reason we heard about “Meghan made Kate cry” was because Kate and the Middleton machinery pushed that fakakta story for YEARS. In fact, they’re STILL trying to push that story. As for this: “He was worried that at times she seemed to be more concerned about her personal progression or profile over the wider goals and aims of the Royal Family.” Bill Middleton wondering about a married-in duchess’s motives… well, that’s pretty rich, considering the Middletons have him coming and going.

This is super-curious too: “…before she sat down with Oprah Winfrey to attack his beloved wife and then accuse his flesh and blood of racism and uncaring behaviour towards someone with mental health issues.” Baldemort is publicly screaming “NOT IT!” when it comes to the story about which royal asked about the baby’s skin color. Which just underlines the fact that it was him all along.

So he thought Meghan was just a social climber?
    FFS he married one.

    • Andrew’s Nemesis says:

Right? He married a lower middle. They’re the ‘I’ve pulled myself out of the working classes and can’t hear you from my lofty perch’ of social climbers.

    • Robin says:

Yes. Kate’s family is and was social climbing gone rampant. The tabloid consensus on the Middletons now, however, is “what strong, morally secure” parents they are, wanting “only the best they could provide for”. The implication being that Meghan, being of a single parent family, has an explicit brand of social climbing that is inferior! It is clear that Meghan educated and worked and explored world views not to ‘climb’ up the class system but to prepare herself for the betterment of others and to remain financially independent and successful. It is something to aspire to. She had no eye on a royal prize. The comparison of a lazy young woman, who sat around at a clothing company doing nothing but wait for her royal boyfriend’s phonecalls, is beyond dreadful. I’d be far from delighted if my daughter set her sights on Kate’s path to success.

    • Jules says:

I swear, so many Brits think they are living in the early 1900s. It’s not the turn of the 20th century and American robber barons aren’t eager to marry their daughters off to penniless dukes in England. For the most part, Americans see the British royal family as minor celebrities and not a social class they aspire to belong to.

      • bettyrose says:

“Americans see the British royal family as minor celebrities and not a social class they aspire to belong to.”

THIS!! Just from what we know about Meghan, I doubt she was ever even the type of little girl who aspired to be a pampered princess. She was a budding feminist pretty young. And by the time she’d met Harry, she was wealthy enough to retire from acting and pursue her personal interests. I can see, though, how her ambitions may have seemed “self-serving” to Wills who doesn’t know from ambition.

    • khaveman says:

Didn’t W drraaaaaag things on for 9 years before proposing to Kate? Give me a break. And that Rose Hanbury goss…..hmmmm

    • khaveman says:

Didn’t W drraaaaaag things on for 9 years before proposing to Kate? Give me a break. And that Rose Hanbury goss…..hmmmm

    • Shelly says:

Do we have to be sexist about this and call women “social climbers”? this isn’t the 50s.
Oh yeah, the British royal family is probably still in the 50s but to the rest of the world I think this all looks severely and offensively antique in attitudes and nastiness about the two younger women in the family. At least Harry is turning out well, and yeah William is “trapped” like Harry said. He’s stuck with his fate. So is Kate, in that sense. That probably makes them both bitter. Who would want a life like that. It’s horrible.

      • notasugarhere says:

Kate and her family chose it. They chose to spend years trailing after aristocrats, desperate to become friends with them. Carole wrote letters to the parents of arito girls asking them to force their daughters to be friends with Kate. They are the ones who have a problem with who they are, where they come from, and have spent decades trying to be something else. Kate and the Middletons are called social climbers because that is what they are.

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

Workshy Wanderdick’s friends literally called Kate, the eldest daughter of money launderers for her one man crime wave of an uncle, a “Wisteria sister” and a “limpet”, but *Meghan*, hardworking, independently wealthy, is the “social climbing parvenu”?

Oh, plz. Pull the other one, Kensington.

  2. UnionSnack says:

I feel kinda confused. Dan Wootton tries to convience that William is.. how was it with other articles…. “overprotective” towards his “beloved wife”? Does Dan play the kate’s side, or was it william’s sanction to tell the world that he loves kate so much, or was it anger towards Meg?

    • Riley says:

William doesn’t give a flying fart about Kate. The only reason he’s so angry is it reflects badly on him.

      • Couch potato says:

Willnot is angry because he was exposed as a racist, but he can’t admit it was him, so he goes for the “protect Kate” angle to justify his rage towards Meghan.

      • Capepopsie says:

@Riley exactly! The hypocrisy leaves me lost for words.

      • marehare says:

Did ugly Bald Billy boy every appoligize for cheating on his wife with Rose? How many woman has he boinked while claiming to be a dedicated married man?
Billy the bald bores me and his very skinny vomitus wife is looking very old while Meghan looks great and has a very loving husband. I smell jealousy comming from Bald Billy et al.

    • EliseM says:

She is so “beloved” that he is willing to cheat on her. Over and over and over……………….

    • eMBEE says:

Abusive men are often overly protective of their wives. The mindset is that she’s HIS to do with as he pleases but by dint of being his possession no one else may say a bad thing/harm her.

      He showed his hand.

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

Eleanor, this is more of the same of turning the Oprah interview into H&M being the perpetrators and the brf being the victims. We’ve all said that if Kate and brf had kept their mouths shut, this crying business would have disappear. Meghan was very magnanimous and left me with the impression that she was conveying that Kate was also silenced by the Firm. Also, she said Kate was a good person.

What is Wont so mad about? As far as the racism and mental health, there’s just a throw away sentence? Good try getting that swept under the rug. Just more of the BM inflaming the haters.

      • Lorelei says:

@Saucy that pissed me off so much, too. They keep ignoring the fact that in addition to calling Kate a good person (lol), Meghan did say that Kate was probably prevented from responding by the palace. Meghan gracefully gave her a very easy out.
Whenever these little bitches whine about the Oprah interview they always leave out all of the positive things Meghan said.

  3. Brit says:

Ever since the announcement of this concert, the British media have been acting like plum fools because they have no access. The sooner they realize that no one outside of Britain really gives a hoot about that family and Williams feelings the better. Meghan didn’t even say anything bad about Kate or it seems that tabloids are trying to bait a response from the Sussexes because Meghan and Harry have proof. Piers Morgan interview and the CNN Max Foster segment went nowhere and this is what happens when you let tabloids in, they control any and everything. At this point, no one cares anymore about this “feud”. You can tell the money is literally drying up for these newspapers and that they’re getting angry at the palaces.

    • Lauren says:

The SussexSquad had that Max Foster segment shut down FAST! I was really impressed that it was gone from even CNN’s website in little more than 24 hours. The RR couldn’t even get in on it because it was gone that fast.

      • AuntRara says:

What happened with Max Foster? I follow him on TikTok and didn’t see anything…

      • Alexandria says:

@Auntrara I unfollowed him when he revealed himself to be another unhinged rat with zero journalistic integrity. I think the UK has some virus attacking it’s “reporters”.

  4. Harper says:

Kate is one of the most famous women in the world. So stop with the “she is just a sad little introvert, working behind the scenes” nonsense. And note to Baldimort: You are going to be head of the Church of England someday (unless you happen to Willexit, which would be ideal). Running a campaign of non-forgiveness toward Meghan is juvenile and off-brand for the future leader of a church that worships Jesus Christ, whose selfless example of forgiveness you are supposed to be following.

    • Seraphina says:

Thank you Harper. That idea has gone lost on him as head of CoE…….Future future that is. But he father will one day hold that role too and look at what he does and did.

    • Cessily says:

Exactly, it certainly is not setting a good example to the world, and now they are actually watching and paying attention. I think before long you are going to see more high profile friends colleagues to the Sussex’s make statements against the constant tabloid harassment. How can you be pro mental health, against bullying, and against racism and yet still remain silent as this continues? Those are the questions that HRH Prince William and Kate the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge feel are beneath them to respond to because they are the victims.

    • Over it says:

Of course he can’t forgive Meghan, her correcting the lie and saying Kate was upset about something, leaves doors open for people to ask and dig among the rose bushes to unearth exactly what upset Katie, and wandering Willy doesn’t want that.

      • swirlmamad says:

Yup. I’m sure he’s mostly mad at her alluding to Kate “going through something” that was at the root of her bad behavior. And I think we can all rest assured that the cause of that “something” lies with William.

      • Lorelei says:

@OverIt: if that’s why Bill is so worked up — because he’s afraid people will now ask what *really* upset Kate — he’s out of his mind. Kate was very newly postpartum, she could have been in pain, dealing with hormonal issues, breaking down out of sleep deprivation if she was trying to breastfeed, crying at how cute (or grown up or whatever) Charlotte looked — it could have been a million different things, none of them having to do with William. Any woman watching that would have instinctively known this; it’s not unusual at all to cry during times like that.
However the more he KEEPS TALKING ABOUT IT, the more people will start to wonder what’s up. He is such an idiot.

    • Amy Bee says:

@Harper: This is why the Monarch should not be the Head of the Anglican Church.

      • Seraphina says:

The only reason the monarch is the head of the Anglican church is because Henry VIII wanted to do as he pleased, saw the power the Roman Catholic church had and wanted to break that hold and wanted the fat coffers of the Vatican. Basically a spoiled child that no one could say no to. A despot basically. And that is why the monarchy should be abolished. There is no need for them AT ALL in 2021, especially when they release chocolate egg smashing videos for Easter.
And I completely agree with you!

      • Harper says:

I imagine Will’s ideal slimming down of the monarchy to include giving up his role as the head of the church. The Queen, for all her faults, keeps the church as a central part of her life as she seems to attend every week. William, on the other hand, seems to see the church as a backdrop for photo ops, and Kate sees the walk there as a runway.

    • 809Matriarch says:

True, but this is the petulant man baby that REFUSED to even walk next to Harry in Philips funeral procession – and gave the green light to BOAST ABOUT IT!

    • Nina says:

Like Meghan gives any thought to his crap. Harry and Meghan out here living their best life and him with his nose pressed against the window screaming like a toddler.
He’s like a toddler throwing a temper tantrum and all the grown-ups are letting him have his crying fit waiting for him to tire himself out and fall asleep so he can be put to bed.

    • bettyrose says:

Aiyaah. I hadn’t thought of it that way. Some of the Brit commenters on here have made strong arguments for how the RF maintains a consistency in social programs that are not subject to partisan rule. From an American standpoint, that is appealing. But then most living Brits have never seen a turnover in the monarchy, so it feels very consistent. Wills as the head of the CoE seems almost laughable.

    • Fawsia says:

He is such a small man and has no moral compass. His adulterous father will be the head of the church of England as well! None of the Windsors should head a chicken coop let alone a church.

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

Harper, you make a good point, but I’m pretty sure the man who helped drive her to suicidal ideation isn’t going to give a rats about how Christlike he’s behaving.

  5. Atorontogal says:

I cannot understand how dw and his ilk are able to print such hostile vulgar garbage and get away with it.

    • Andrew’s Nemesis says:

Because Levenson was never properly implemented. The tabs would rather print and be damned. In the 80s gay musicians were constantly rung up by tabloids who threatened to out them if they didn’t provide a negative HIV test.
The British media are, with few exceptions, absolutely vile.

      • Lorelei says:

@AndrewsNemesis: a negative AIDS test…are you fcking kidding me? That is a new low (at least to me; I didn’t know about that). The list of abhorrent things that they’ve done to people and they’re still at it, churning out this BS all day. I don’t understand how any of them involved with the phone hacking even have careers after that, after what it did to the poor Dowler family (and everyone else who was affected as well, of course, but that’s the one that always stays in my mind because of the heartbreaking consequences it had). The cruelty of these people is just…I don’t even know

    • Heat says:

It’s all about deflection with this crew. I, for one, feel somewhat sorry for Kate right now. She’s the pawn in the latest game of slight-of-hand with the Royal Family. Like, are we supposed to believe that the real issues are about who made who cry? Really? Meghan already said that they made amends. So it’s a really weak story.
The real stories that they are deflecting from? How about William’s rosebush trimming (possibly even others)? Or Pedo-Andy? Or the resurgence of how Charles & Camilla treated Diana (thanks to The Crown)? Or the fact that they’re a bunch of racists who can’t handle the fact that they now have one (almost two) young royals who are bi-racial?

But, sure Jan, let’s believe that poor, dear, William is full of rage because someone hurt his wife’s feelings.

    • Persephone says:

Because the BRF are in agreement with it.

  6. BayTampaBay says:

“before she sat down with Oprah Winfrey to attack his beloved wife and then accuse his flesh and blood of racism and uncaring behaviour towards someone with mental health issues.”

I still do not get this story line? How did Meghan attack Keen? IMPO, Kate actually came out of the interview better as Meghan stated, “she is a good woman”.

    • Cecilia says:

Kate came away better out of that interview than charles and william. They just want to focus on this bit so that people won’t wuestion why the firm refused to help someone with mental health issues or who made the comments about archies skintone.

    • Becks1 says:

So I think two things are going on:

      1) they want to push that Meghan “attacked” Kate because they want the focus off of what she specifically said – namely that there was a false story about there about Meghan that was never corrected (and Meghan knew that someone at KP gave that story to Camilla Tominey) . So it seems better from a KP perspective to have Meghan “attack” Kate rather than admit that it pushed a false story for the purpose of embiggening Kate and making Meghan the angry black woman.

      2) they want the focus off the rest of the interview IN GENERAL. They don’t want people focused on who had “concerns” about Archie’s skin color, or who was saying Archie wouldn’t be a prince, or who thought Meghan should keep working, etc.

      • swirlmamad says:

AND, as I said above, I think he’s really pissed at Meghan insinuating that Kate was “going through something” that caused her bad behavior. He does NOT want anyone questioning what that “something” was/is.

      • Nina says:

The only people who still care about the interview and talking about it are the BM and the PWT. Everyone else has moved on and waiting for the upcoming Vax fundraiser hosted by the Sussex’s. Chucking the Sussex’s out has been the biggest own goal by the BRF

      • lanne says:

The UK has been something of a circular firing squad of late, with Brexit and the RF floudering. Any opposing team playing the Brits these days can just sit back and relax because the Brit team can’t stop scoring on itself. Furthermore, they keep demanding the right to score on themselves like it’s some kind of winning strategy.

    • Brit says:

She didn’t say anything bad at all. The more these tabloids and palaces talk, the more they’re letting people know that what Meghan and Harry said we’re true. All they had to do was let everything blow over but they had to leak against her before the interview, which tipped people off and get morons like Piers and Dan to speak for them. Piers basically blackmailed and implicated the family in public.

    • MF1 says:

I know. The interview and William’s response has gone something like this:

Meghan: Kate made me cry but she apologized. She’s a good person.
Will: HOW DARE YOU ATTACK MY BELOVED TOP CEO WIFE?!?!

I don’t think his response is going to fly with anyone who actually *watched* the interview.

  7. Sim Kin says:

Watching yesterday play out was fascinating. Seeing this article and then the news of H&M doing the Vac Live thing and it’s so clear they’ve moved beyond this while salty island is still bitter. If being named hurts Kate so badly they should imagine how M felt all these years.

Anyway, all these articles from Dan makes Will seem like he’s stuck in some 18th century understanding of the monarchy and the world. It doesn’t matter if he doesn’t forgive someone or stops being friends with them (Bradby). The world will continue to move forward and those people will continue to thrive because no one’s life is centered around the will of the monarchy. Crazies.

H&M coordinating with world leaders and presidents and Will has Wooten. Pathetic.

    • Brit says:

Exactly. The only ones still harping on this interview is the BM. It’s done and over. They’re losing money, the Sussexes cut them off, there are no leaks anymore and Royal coverage is back to what it was pre Meghan. When you have reporters starting to complain and saying William should go Hollywood, you know it’s bad.

    • Izzy says:

That really is part of the problem. They still behave as though instant news and social media don’t exist.

      • Brit says:

The mirror posted a tweet about the story and not one person In the comments was sympathetic and called about both William and Kate. These are different times and people aren’t stupid.

    • Lorelei says:

After watching the Oprah interview, and hearing about Meghan’s pain directly from her, I wonder if Kate has — even once — imagined what it must have been like for Meghan to go through what she did, and if she will ever be ashamed that she participated in it. (Probably not. I think she genuinely believes that being called “Waity Kaity” is as bad as anything Meghan endured.)

  8. Cecilia says:

Go Dan! Way to make william sound not racist. “He had his reservations about her from the beginning” so he didn’t even give her a chance?

And the whole kate slander could have been avoided had Billy & Cathy comma team corrected it at the beginning.

Im so happy william got dragged for this story.

    • Cessily says:

I find it hilarious that “uncle Gary” is shooting off his mouth all over the tabloids but PW had reservations about Meghan? I hope this man never becomes King.. Maybe a King
George (whatever number) should be lobbied for.

      • Cecilia says:

I seriously wonder what william will do once his kids become more popular than him, because that will happen.

      • Cessily says:

He is doing it to his father, so his he is setting the example.

  9. Sofia says:

“Kate is powerless to fight back”

Huh. Where was this “powerlessness” of Kate when she let an incorrect story continue on and on and 2.5 years (think it appeared around Nov 2018) and counting?

She’s not powerless. She can fight back (if not directly then through her mother). She just doesn’t unless it directly affects her negatively.

    • Dee says:

He’s forgotten we got a press release about hair extensions defending Kate, isn’t he?

    • Kentuckygirl says:

I picked up on this too. If she is powerless to fight back, is it because she is silent or silenced? Meaning Meghan was right? It’s just a constant circle of nonsense.

    • Sue says:

Right? How is a “top CEO” powerless?

    • Couch potato says:

To be fair, Meghan said the same. Kate wasn’t in a position to stop the story (I think she could through her mum, but that’s not going to sit right with the reporter they leaked to in the first place). Now it’s coming from two corners; Kate is powerless. That’s the kind of statements a good reporter would run with. Who is calling the shots at KP? Who is leaking and distorting private stories to the RR? Why can’t Keen/KP make statements to clear out a negative story about two family members? They did for the botox and wiglet stories. The real story from the interview is how enmeshed the RF and the RR are. How the RR has a grip on the RF.

      • Sofia says:

An explanation is not an excuse for her behaviour. Yes Kate may not have been able to say anything herself but what was stopping her from telling her mother and sister to go to the press and say that Meghan didn’t make Kate cry? Are they trapped by the royals too? Certainly not by the amount of “the middletons are so amazing” stories that have come out with little to no pushback from the palace.

I’m going to need people to realise that Kate 10000% benefited from the negative press that Meghan received and continues to receive even if she never did anything. Hence why she never strongly pushed back when there were ways too (through her mother).

      • Couch potato says:

I’m not saying this to excuse her behaviour, as both of us mentioned, she could’ve had her mother put a stop to it. “Nothing to see, Meghan didn’t make Kate cry”, which we all know it’s true, it was the other way around. Yes, she benefitted from the negative press against Meghan, and she’ll continue to benefit from it until the courtiers, Willnot and the RR teams up to take her down. What I tried to say; something is rotten in the state of England, and a real reporter would want to expose that. There’s clearly a LOT going on behind the scene, and the RR knows it. They’re hinting about it with “incandescent with rage” etc, but they don’t report on it. I think Meghan witnessed how horrible Willnot treats Keen (not just the cheating, but also mental abuse) and was cutting Keen some slack in the interview.

      • Becks1 says:

I think the problem with the crying story is that Kate could not correct it because she leaked it – either through someone like Jason Knauf or her mother. So as a threshold matter, why would she correct something she put out there? She WANTED it out there that Meghan made her cry.

I do think that Meghan was cutting Kate a lot of slack because of how William treats her.

      • ShazBot says:

I’m sure it just thrills Kate to bits that she has Meghan’s pity lol

      • BlueToile says:

No way do I buy that Kate is powerless. If that is true why are we seeing 12 stories per day about how she is the awesomest, most peacemakingest member to ever hold the Royal Family together. Let’s be honest here, she could have demanded a statement at any time saying the story was “incorrect.” Barring that she could have stepped up to the plate at one of her press-covered appearances and personally killed the story right there in front of both God and the RR. However, that would require courage and integrity, so clearly it was never an option.

    • Laura says:

I will just go out on a limb here and say that I doubt Meghan is holding her breath for ‘forgivness’ from her incandescent in-laws.

  10. CC2 says:

In other words, “I’m so so angry for Meghan telling everyone that I called Archie a brownie but I can’t say that so I’ll just act like I’m angry about what she said about Kate although Meghan publicly praised her character and told her fans to not hate on muh wife….btw isn’t it crazy how they accused me-my family of racism? Hmmph”

  11. Becks1 says:

He was worried about Meghan’s “traits and motivations?” Just say it William. You didnt like that your brother married a black woman. That was the trait you were worried about – especially when it came to their children.

Anyway this is a messy and desperate article, it tells me that William realizes on some level that Meghan is quietly winning the PR game and William needs to remind the world how awful she is. Except that the reaction on twitter was not quite what William and Wootton expected, I’m sure.

    • Cecilia says:

Im an awful person because i rejoiced when i saw that people dragged him for filth. And a lot of comments brought up the affair.

      • swirlmamad says:

It makes me happy to hear that people were calling William and his potato head out on his bullsh*t. I’ll have to go look up some tweets to see for myself!

      • Becks1 says:

@swirlmamad – it was glorious to see. And on Dan Wootton’s own twitter posts sharing the story! People were not having it.

    • Nic919 says:

Lots of blue checks on Twitter pointing out that his affair is far more offensive to Kate than whatever Meghan said on Oprah.

    • Topaz says:

Could this article be a PR move for an upcoming Keenbridge divorce? We all know now that William loves to blame everything on Meghan and the RR will gladly write his BS story line.

    • Liz version 700 says:

The absolute drudging on Twitter was something! It wasn’t just the Sussexsquad (though they are always on point). Regular casual folks were letting William HAVE IT. He has shown himself in a way I don’t think he can overcome. The more he attacks, the more he proves H&M’s points and validates their truth. It would be fun to watch if it didn’t involve him attacking a pregnant woman for the second damn time.

    • notasugarhere says:

It speaks again to his jealousy around the Together Cookbook and those funds. He promised to do something for Grenfell and did nothing. Three weeks after his PR photo op full of empty promises, Together hit. So not only is he jealous that Meghan accomplished something huge, he’s was trying to steal the money behind the scenes.

  12. Zebz says:

Williams refusal to let it go is astonishing. If this isn’t coming from him, he needs to issue a denial. These stories are making him look increasingly unhinged, spoiled and obsessed. The Sussexes are moving onto other things, while William is still dragging out the interview. It’s like he has nothing else to do all day but swell on it. He is trying to get the last word like a bitter ex lover. Mess.

    • Snuffles says:

You know that popular gif on Twitter of Big Sean eating BBQ as he watches some drama unfold?

I’m picturing Charles doing the same thing, except with scone and some tea. Charles has been VERY quiet lately.

      • MF1 says:

Say what you will about Charles, but he is a LOT smarter than William. At the very least, he knows when to keep his mouth shut and let the drama play out.

      • Jaded says:

@Snuffles & MF1 – Ding! Ding! Ding! Charles is sitting back with a large G&T watching Keen, Mean and the Bucklebury Bitch sink themselves in deeper and deeper. Mark my words…when he becomes King he’ll start pulling in all that rope he gave them so they’d hang themselves.

      • Liz version 700 says:

Yep. Charles is a terrible father, but he excelled at playing these backstabbing court games. William will never know what hit him and CarolE the Queen mother is going to get ripped into tiny snobby pieces.

      • Tessa says:

I would have felt better about Charles had he not let William drive out Harry and Meghan. A lot of damage has been already done.

    • Becks1 says:

Right? are we going to be hearing about William’s rage at the Oprah interview in 5 years?

    • Kristin says:

You just answered your own question: He quite literally has NOTHING else to do, lol! If that’s not a testament to his laziness and lack of work ethic, I don’t know what is. A normal, busy person with a career and work obligations simply would not have the time to keep stewing on this nonstop. Way to tell on yourself William. You really are a genius!

  13. Andrew’s Nemesis says:

Sure, because Meghan had a world-shakingly loud voice to combat misinformation as a newly minted DoS?
Also, re ‘behind the scenes’ – Carole Bennett and drug snorting wife beating Unkle Gazza, coff coff.

  14. Lauren says:

This article is completely bonkers. If the Keenbridges do get a new coms advisor the first thing that they should advise is to cut DW loose because while I get the DW has a lot of leverage, he is also unhinged with his writing and it’s not showing Baldingham in a good light. The truth sets free, Billy boy. Just admit that you cheated on your wife and move on with your day. Letting people have this power over you cannot be good.

    • Izzy says:

They won’t, for two reasons. First, there’s no question that Dan Rotten has SOOOO much dirt on Keen Willieleaks. Second, we’re talking about people who only listen to sycophants and believe themselves to be PR masters, they are too arrogant to listen to the actual experts they hire.

      • Brit says:

Yep. The tabloids got both of them especially William on a tight leash. Imagine having Dan Wooten, Piers Morgan and those scummy tabloids as your allies.

      • Nic919 says:

Wootton just recently outed a UK broadcaster as gay so you can guarantee that he has something on William (and it’s more than just an affair) which is why we are seeing these articles. William would not be dealing with this guy if he has a choice.

  15. Christa says:

Well I will enjoy his misery everytime the Sussex’s make the news for some new charitable thing they do. Lol. Wallow in it Willy!

  16. Chill says:

    Racism thy name is William.

    • Larry says:

I’d have beef with my brother-in-law too if he asked me what shade of brown my baby was going to be – so no doubts on that part of Wooton’s article. If Meghan can’t stand the sight or thought of Rage Monster then that is perfectly within her rights.
(also, so rich to claim that Kate is powerless to defend herself – WHERE is that article coming from, again??)

  17. The Hench says:

“Man takes out frustration on attractive woman he fancies but knows he can never have”

    • Robin says:

      yes to this

    • Zebz says:

      You’re exactly right.

    • Cecilia says:

Yep ive been saying william has a fixation with meghan

    • S808 says:

I think he’s extremely racist and that the crux of the situation but this is an element I think is at play as well.

    • Laugh or Cry says:

Yes, this. While is a very much a racist, he is attracted to her, like the same way Kate feels about Harry.

      • swirlmamad says:

Lots of similarities between this and Piers Morgan’s obsessive attraction to Meghan. They’re both psycho stalkers.

      • JT says:

He is definitely obsessed with Meghan and seems to be only increasing. He’s also obsessed with his own brother to an uncomfortable degrees. He wishes he could be Harry and have his life, his charm, his successes, and his wife.

    • Eurydice says:

Oh, thank you. I thought it was just my weird brain seeing “Colonial Ruler lusts for the Native Princess.”

    • ABritGuest says:

JT interesting theory especially as William apparently wanted to escape& live in the US when he was younger so possible Harry is kind of living his dream.

And I always thought any possible jealousy issues was just about spotlight but could also have been a sense of how did HE land her too based on Lacey saying the palace wasn’t expecting ‘this bombshell’ & there were articles years ago that staff thought Harry was punching above his weight.

      • Sid says:

I believe it ABGuest. Let’s face it. Meghan has all the qualities you would want in a Queen Consort much less a Duchess, and she’s beautiful on top of it. She is the sort of person who makes their partner look better, and could mingle with the dynamic continental QCs like Letitzia or Maxima. Then you have Kate. No need to say more. It’s obvious which brother ended up with a partner better suited for the role of a working royal. And I’m sure deep in their racist hearts, the courtiers and co. know it.

      • swirlmamad says:

        Every.Single.WORD.Of.This, @Sid. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

    • Agreatreckoning says:

Haha-that does sound more like the truth. He will probably never forgive Meghan for calling Kate a good person and not him.

      • swirlmamad says:

You know, this could have something to do with it too. If he has an unwanted attraction (or fancies her, as the Brits call it), for him the most angering part of the whole thing may be that Meghan took the time to address the Kate situation, and basically call her a good person/say that she forgives her (which is more than K deserves, but that’s for another post). However, radio silence when it comes to him. The fact that he was essentially ignored by both her and Harry for the most part probably enrages him.

        Cue Fatal Attraction-esque “I won’t be ignored, Meghan & Harry…”

    • ShazBot says:

YES. I’ve always thought part of his extreme jealousy of Harry isn’t just the freedom, or that he has a hot wife and they’re both super attracted to each other, but that W himself is very attracted to her.

    • lanne says:

Hell hath no fury like a mediocre white man who has been made to feel stupid by a woman. Hell hath even less fury than a mediocre white man who has been made to feel stupid by a woman he finds sexually attractive. Hell hath the least fury than a mediocre white man who has been made to feel stupid by a woman of color that he finds sexually attractive.

In other words, mediocre white dude be mad mad mad! This dudebro has been raised to think he’s the smartest, bestest man ever because his grammy’s a Queen and everyone says so. He never learned that birth order and “breeding” mean fuck-all in 2021, and while royal syncophants might pretend Will-di Amin is the bestest bestest ever, that doesn’t make it true. Will-di Amin has the outsized ego of a dictator wearing a ridiculous cosplay military uniform with a chestful of fake medals. Thankfully, he doesn’t have any real power. In fact, he’s owned by the British media–he’s their high-class ho.

      • swirlmamad says:

@Ianne, I always love your insightful takes on things. I’m picturing that Oprah meme “You big mad?!?” (Because only an Oprah meme would do in this situation 😂)

      • Agreatreckoning says:

@lanne “Will-di Amin has the outsized ego of a dictator wearing a ridiculous cosplay military uniform with a chestful of fake medals. Thankfully, he doesn’t have any real power. In fact, he’s owned by the British media–he’s their high-class ho.”

Awesome. That last sentence is spot on.

      • Jais says:

        @lanne- 👏 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Agree @reckoning about the last sentence!
        “He’s their high class ho”
        omg so true

      • Emily_C says:

There are some definite Frollo vibes going on.

  18. Izzy says:

It is truly a wonder how oblivious these people are to the fact that the more they bleat on about these specific issues, the more they point the fingers at themselves.

As for Kate not being able to fight back… they were able to defend her when someone claimed she used hairpieces. They could have shut the bridesmaid story down in a heartbeat. They CHOSE to weaponize it against Meghan.

    • Cecilia says:

Exactly if this was all about protecting kate, the KP communication team could have shut the story down with “there was never a fight”. Im sure meghan would have gone along with that. Instead they twisted it to make meghan a villain. Deliberately.

      • Tessa says:

And the bots on social media twist the story even more saying Meghan “insulted” Charlotte and “made her cry.” If Kate had denied the crying story Meghan would not have commented at all about it.

  19. Alexandria says:

I’m convinced that racists bigots like the rats and this future Head of Church have a brain decaying condition that affects their humanity and comprehension skills at the same time.

  20. Jan says:

Poor Princess William, so worried about Meghan wearing the family jewels, that he sends them out wearing his wife, instead of her wearing them.
I can imagine Meghan asking Harry, why he was letting his brother and wife take credit for his work and that didn’t sit well Princess William.
What Meghan showed in that Oprah interview and the letter she wrote in January 2020, is that she don’t give a duck about the backstabbing royal family, she may like the Queen, but that’s about it, oops Eugenie.
Harry and Meghan left Shutter Island in 2019 and the total time they’ve spent in the Island since then is less than a month.
Instead of raging about Meghan, maybe he can work on the five question survey, that took his wife years to come up with.

    • Cessily says:

The mention of “banning Meghan from the jewelry” in several articles makes me immediately think he had the silver counted often too.. and he seriously wants people to believe he is not racist… ok sure, just like I believe the monarchy was chosen by god.

      • swirlmamad says:

That alone outs him as the racist MFer. He fully admits he didn’t want her to “taint” his mother’s jewels. Holy sh*t, he sucks.

    • equality says:

I think that’s part of the problem too. They wanted to continue taking at least partial credit for anything successful and Meghan said “why should you?”

  21. Snuffles says:

This endless attempt to try and refute the Oprah interview is desperate and obviously not working. It’s only convincing people that Meghan was right. They see right through the BS. Especially since the vessel they are using to get “their side” out is widely despised and has zero journalistic credibility.

I’m getting tired of this. I’d rather focus on all the cool shit Meghan and Harry are doing.

    • Brit says:

You can tell the media is pushing or blackmailing the royals to keep pushing this feud for clicks at this point. They have nothing else. Harry and Meghan have cut them off and they’ll be working in America and mostly do global work. They keep going after Spotify which not working. They went after Gayle and Oprah, it didn’t work. They tried foolishness with the funeral, again didn’t work. They tried to Finding Freedom chapters foolishness, it didn’t work. All I see in these stories is desperation and frustration.

      • Lowrider says:

The media has always needed Harry and Meghan. They do not cover Will the way they cover Harry. All bets are off when they write about Meghan compared to Kate. They were so stupid to completely side with the BRF and harass Meghan. All the media has left is the fumes of this tired saga and covering sheep events.

    • Nic919 says:

Too many people actually watched the Oprah interview which is their first mistake. To anyone watching it was obvious that Meghan tried to paint Kate in the best light possible despite not correcting the incorrect story. The larger issue really wasn’t about Kate anyway. It was about the racism and lack of support when Meghan asked for it.

      • lanne says:

Too many people watched the interview strictly BECAUSE the RF and the BM made such a big deal about it. The interview was watched around the world because neither the BM nor the RF has apparently ever heard of the Streisand Effect.

  22. Steph says:

Wow. His petty jealousy is glaring. He really can’t stand that she was simply better at the job than he could ever dream of being. He needs to accept it and move on. She’s always going to outshine him.

  23. Elizabeth says:

William the Conqueror… in his own head. He’d have been happier being born middle-class and shrieking with his buddies over footer at the pub every night.

  24. Miranda says:

Yeah, because people who work “behind the scenes” are well-known for their tendency to prod the press into hagiography, constantly insisting that she’s truly just a simple, modest, dutiful middle class girl, but also a totally gorgeous, smart, keen supermom with a revolutionary streak who is the only thing standing between the world’s most famous royal family and its pending relegation to the dustbin of history.

    • Carmen-JamRock says:

      LMAO
A classic case of trying to be all things to all people and therefore ending up being a complete and utter nothing to anyone. Thats kitty Guevara for you. The brf rag doll. If I wasnt enjoying this schadenfreude so much I’d feel sorry for her.
      Oh wait…….scrap that last part.

  25. Over it says:

I guess we now know for sure which royal hated Megs and her him like Robert Lacey mentioned in his book.Hi Kate tatler Catherine the great article says hello

    • Carmen-JamRock says:

Screw Lacey….that b hardly knows any more about the thoughts and motivations of these folks than the rest of us. He’s just been longer at the surmising game.

Meghan, as her actions over time hv shown, has no time, interest or energy to waste on hating anyone. Her major fault, as far as I’m concerned, is that her default position is to first give everyone the benefit of the doubt, no matter their public persona/reputation; then allow them to reveal their true colors over time. Its only after theyve proven to HER to be undeserving of her goodwill and out of care for her mental health that she cuts them loose. See her father as exhibit-A; her ex-husband as exhibit-B; her half-sibblings as exhibit-C.

So even tho, I believe, she would have taken the measure of will-di-Amin pretty soon after joining the brf, because H considers him to be a beloved brother, I’m sure that M was willing to put up with him.

I do believe bulliam took an early dislike to M when he realized she would be more than just a girlfriend to his brother and so he began his campaign, as we hv learned, roping in Diana’s brother to help him put pressure on H to ditch M, offering all the arguments that H revealed in the O-interview: eg the rage-monster’s “concern” abt their future children’s skin color; and his blatantly obvious collusion with the shitrags in seeking to destroy her reputation and her mental health.

So yeah, it is now crystal clear that willileaks is “the senior member of the family” that outrightly hates M.

It is also crystal clear that M has moved on, is thriving in her new life and, therefore, like all purpose-driven, creative, hardworking and very, very busy human being, M has no time or space in her life for hate.

    • ABritGuest says:

Yes I assumed the person who Lacey claimed hated Meghan & the feeling was mutual was Jason Knauf or Simon Case as the obvious engineers of the smear campaign. but possible it was William. And if so, guess we know why the press are running this new line about there being no family reconciliation as long as Harry is with Meghan.

Its interesting that we haven’t heard Meghan even talk about william since possibly the engagement interview but we we’ve been hearing these press briefings about Meghan from William since 2018. I wonder if they actually clashed eg when they still shared an office.

The press act like Meghan did the interview alone which shows how much the press are determined to make her the sole villain. And idea she attacked Kate by correcting the tears story is ridiculous when she said Kate was having a moment but apologised & was a good person. points to determination to make Kate the victim of the mean mixed race woman which is grounded in racist tropes.

I just find it interesting that we never hear of concerns about eg Beatrice’s husband’s motivations given Beatrice would be a step mum& she dated Edoardo for a shorter period then the Sussexes before getting engaged. I’m sure the firm had a security check done on Meghan & the Sun’s private investigation came up super clean. She was self made, her divorce wasn’t messy& she was used to charity work so curious what William could have been so concerned about or what ‘traits’ disturbed him so.

And if Meghan was concerned about her profile could be because her reputation was being mauled in the press daily.

      • Tessa says:

THe same ones who are on social media that Harry and Meghan did not “date long enough to get to know each other” are all agog over Edo and Bea as a loving couple. Leaving out that he broke up with his pregnant fiancee and shortly after dated Beatrice. Nobody batted an eyelash

      • notasugarhere says:

Or that he made sure not to marry his baby mama, because that would make his multiracial son his legitimate heir for whatever fake title he pretends to have.

      • Emily_C says:

The “traits” Meghan has that disturbed William were: biracial, American, intelligent, charismatic, beautiful. Woman. Loves Harry and Harry loves her.

  26. Amy Bee says:

All this does for me is confirm that William and Kate were racist bullies towards Meghan.

  27. Curious says:

William seems out for revenge.thank god he doesn’t have any sort of power to force people in the usa not to work with Harry/Meghan. he seems like the sort of man that will move mountains to make Harry/Meghan life,a life of hell. I am guessing he is the one who talked about Archie skin tone. he was scared Harry might name him.but Harry didn’t,so now he feels sort of safe ,and knowing Harry/Meghan is not going to name him,he feels he can do as he wishes with them. cause Harry/Meghan will not hurt the queen by naming him as the racist future king.

    • Curious says:

in a way i think Harry did say who it is ,without saying any names. but he did say they have a family, and it won’t be fair to name them.. they didn’t have much interaction with anyone else than William/Catherine. and they are a young family. so since it was not his grandparents, its can’t be Anne, her children are adults, can’t be charles his children are adults, not Andrew or his daughters, not Edward/Sophie cause they was not close to them.William caused Harry/Meghan pain, William should be begging them for forgiveness.people like William saying he will not forgave Meghan for the harm he caused her. its sickening.

      • swirlmamad says:

They didn’t say the person had a family, but they DID say that if the perpetrator was revealed by name, it would be very damaging to them. And that essentially points to only 2 people — William or Charles. And William is really doing the most to out himself as the racist a-hole, so there ya go.

      • I know says:

There was an article about William pulling Charles Spencer along for the talk about Meghan. My guess is it was the two of them. Spencer and William. I truly believe that’s why Spencer was not at Archie’s christening.

      • swirlmamad says:

@I know, that makes a ton of sense considering Diana’s sisters WERE there.

      • Tessa says:

It is laughable that Charles Spencer was consulted. He made his first wife miserable (she had an eating disorder) and made snippy comments about having to have three daughters before the HEIR. Then remarried and ditched that wife after she just had their second baby. He’s remarried again.

  28. Over it says:

Just picture this, a member of the biggest welfare recipients family calling a woman who has worked for everything she has a gold digger.these people are so tone deaf and stupid.

    • Dee says:

Logically, if Meghan’s motives were to be rich and get attention for not much of anything, wouldn’t she and Harry have stayed as part of the British royal welfare family? Need a Land Rover? A palace to live in? Jewels to wear? Private helicopter rides?

      • Over it says:

Exactly, he just mad because Megs and haz are hot and happening and he is not.

      • MaryContrary says:

This exactly. That whole narrative that she was “using” Harry to get all the perks of being royal just falls apart. If she was such a gold digger, why not just suck it up?

  29. mariahlee says:

I can’t imagine Meghan cares about William’s opinion of her at all. He literally has no power over her life anymore. Thank goodness.

  30. Merricat says:

It is sheer folly to choose this hill for dying. William has been self-immolating for weeks. He is doing himself no favors.

    • Persephone says:

Agreed…and I’m wondering why no one on his team is seeing that yet.

      • Sid says:

Wooten has a hold of him by the crown jewels. This won’t stop until whatever it is that he’s threatening William with is revealed.

  31. Noor says:

Dan Wotten wrote, “William is believed to back a decision to ban Meghan from borrowing items in the Royal Collection”

How petty and demeaning of William to behave in this manner towards his sister in law Meghan from the very start.

Dan Wotten in his attempts to smear Meghan has actually painted an ugly picture of William and his total non acceptance and disrespect for Meghan as Prince Harry’s wife and as a senior working royal from the very start.

    • Tessa says:

William can’t touch the jewels Diana willed to Harry and that probably bothers him.

      • Cessily says:

Harry already gave him the engagement ring Kate wears, William probably forgot to get her one. Just like he forgot the rehearsal

    • Noor says:

We now know who support the ban.

      But who initiated the ban?
      Kate, Prince Charles, Camilla?

      And WHY??

Also why leaked such info to the press and public??

  32. Monica says:

Wow. His animosity toward Meghan is frightening. I hope she never has to be in physical proximity to him again.

    • swirlmamad says:

I don’t think Harry would ever put his wife (or children) in that situation. If anything, he will directly handle William himself from now on.

    • Midge says:

Yeah, he can’t stand that she owned him. She’s more popular worldwide and she helped Harry understand that he doesn’t need to continue in that toxic, subservient role, that he can not only survive outside the firm, he can thrive. Plus she and Harry married for love and that must really piss off William.

  33. Jan says:

Duncan Larcombe is bleating about Meghan and Harry stealing the Royals spotlight, saying William have to do more to be in the spotlight.
Then he went on to say that they’re only getting deals because they’re using the royal family, they can’t have it both ways, they’re not using HRH, they’re just plain hustling.
The BM and the Royal family wanted Harry and Meghan to fall on their asses and beg to rejoin the dysfunctional family, not happening so they resort to type, abuse.

    • Brit says:

They only want William and Kate to go Hollywood because they know the Cambridge’s are dull and they want access and leaks. So essentially, what I got from that article, is that they want William to get the same contacts and access, so the tabloids can benefit. So they want William to embrace Hollywood to get him interesting but also to spy. I 1000% believe that.

      • Fawsia says:

Doesn’t we have a family business to run? Shouldn’t he suppose to familiarize himself with the Duchy and PT? BM are insane.

    • Becks1 says:

You would think they would stop with the whole “they’re only getting deals because of the royals” nonsense. Does being royal help them? Yes, in that being royal is why he is PRINCE Harry and why we watched him grow up and the whole world knows who he is. But being royal isn’t the only reason people want to work with him – look at how William couldn’t get Netflix to air his nature documentary, or couldnt get celebrities to work with him on mental health – meanwhile Harry and Meghan are networking with global power players and have been for some time now. People want to work with HARRY AND MEGHAN because they are a power couple and they get shit done.

    • Sofia says:

The whole “they only got these deals because they’re royals!!!” makes me laugh. Okay it is true and the interest in them is because of that but it’s not the only thing that’s sustaining interest in them. Whereas for the Cambridges, it’s literally the only thing they’ve got going for them hence why “they’re going to be King and Queen” is one of the only thing rota reporters and their supporters can say about them.

And even if it was true, where are the deals for the rest of them? Why aren’t the rest successful? Where are the deals making Andrew a successful businessman and not a shady one on top of being a pedo? Where are the deals making Edward a successful producer? Where are the deals making Sophie a great PR person?

      • JT says:

If the Sussexes are successful only because of the royal connection, then the BM and RF wouldn’t be whining about H&M stealing the spotlight, because they would have their own. Having a title does not guarantee success, hence all of those failed royals on the taxpayer dole. Will-di Amin can’t even get enough attention on earthshot, despite the fact that he is the future king.

      • Gk says:

I agree, H&M benefit from being ex? Royals. But at least they are not being paid for by the People. I’ve read the stuff about taxes being pennies per person to support royalty/ they attract tourists/ but that’s not reason to allow someone by birth and not by merit or vote to have multi millions ( Charles duchy money) .

    • Gabby says:

That was hilarious! “William’s phone isn’t ringing – they all want his brother”.

  34. Pepperpot says:

Harry has compassion, empathy and a genuine desire to help.

Will is incandescent with rage, vengeful, demands loyalty and can hold grudges.

No wonder there’s a need for Harry to return.

  35. Mich says:

“…before she sat down with Oprah Winfrey to attack his beloved wife and then accuse his flesh and blood of racism and uncaring behaviour towards someone with mental health issues.”

Rather neat how Harry has been written out of the story and his own flesh and blood family.

    • Tessa says:

Yes, it is interesting Harry is left out of it as if the Cambridges hope Harry will ditch her and be in that “wonderful” (LOL) relationship he had with Him and Kate.

  36. ThatgirlThere says:

Both Baldilocks and Dan are unwell with racism.

  37. S808 says:

These articles paint William as having such an intense hatred for Meghan it’s getting uncomfortable to read. I’m glad the chances of them being in a room together have significant dropped and the chances of them being in a room alone together is practically nonexistent.

    • Steph says:

And every time an article like this comes out, he’s putting his brother and his family in more danger. I know he knows this, and he is ok with it. He comes off as a sociopath.

      • lanne says:

I don’t honestly think he’s putting them in any more danger than they are already in from haters. Will-di Amin is just showing the world that he’s on the side of the haters, and that he wouldn’t particularly mind if any harm came to Meghan or Archie. He’s showing us who he is, and we all ought to believe him. That’s all. I think he’s more a narcissist than a sociopath. He has emotions, and always wants vengeance. I thought sociopaths lack the ability to feel emotional connection to people. They hurt people because they don’t care about people’s feelings–feelings are just noise.

    • Gina says:

      This! Exactly my feelings!

  38. IRMAVEP says:

This would be sad, were it not so malicious. It seems the Cambridges are stuck in the past, unable to move forward to the time after Meghan and Harry’s wedding and departure from the UK, and are forever picking at scabs on wounds which is years old. Worst of all though, is Will’s denial of racism, both personally and institutional in the RF, with his ‘We’re in no way a racist family’ retort. Every racist I’ve ever heard, begins their offensive sentences with ‘I’m not a racist, but….’ Most ghastly of all is William’s selective memory – able to forget that he warned Harry to stay away from ‘that girl’ [the mixed race one], yet remaining offended that his wife made Harry’s bride-to-be, Meghan, cry [and miffed Kate was later called out for it.] As for the ‘elephant in the room’ google ‘royal’ and ‘racism’ and hundreds of hits appear. William will eventually be the monarch, yet he’s intent on remaining blind to racism inside the palaces. How can the RF ever change if they can’t even acknowledge they have a problem?

    • Fawsia says:

He might end up monarch to a small, racist, and out of touch Britain if he makes it.

  39. Cessily says:

This statement here is why PW is the worst patron or representative of any mental health group, movement or charity. “someone with mental health issues” just what every person suffering with depression wants is some one condescending remarks about their “issues” 👏🏼 Great way to open dialogue and end the stigma.

    • Greywacke says:

The fact that the Oprah interview undermined W&K’s “efforts” towards mental health and racism (football only of course) may be another reason they are so mad.

  40. Ania says:

Do I sense upcoming new angle with „…someone with mental health issues”?? It sounded disgusting, like he was winking and suggesting that „she’s crazy guys!”

    • swirlmamad says:

And sadly, that’s exactly what was done to his own mother. For shame.

      • Ania says:

Exactly, but I wonder – do they really think people won’t notice the same thing happening again? Do they really think they can get away with it over and over? They are underestimating Meg and Harry big time and public opinion is not so easily fooled as in Diana days

  41. HK9 says:

Megan never would have had to say “words” if Kate had killed the story, which she could have easily done without anyone knowing. Kate & Willnot let the story run for years so that ‘s what you get, and quite frankly, Megan said Kate apologized and she accepted the apology saying she was a good person so the fact that they keep bringing this up makes me think otherwise. Anyone with good sense would let this story die, but alas, good sense is not something they have.

  42. Lizzie says:

He is angry but cannot refute Meghans claims can he? Nope.

  43. SarahCS says:

Looks like SW and the BM are developing their new storyline/latest dead horse to flog. We’ve had endless Willnot vs. Harry and Unable vs. Meghan, now, wait for it, we have Willnot vs. Meghan. Here we go…

  44. Merricat says:

Tell me again how “very much not racist” you are, William, paper princeling. Tough to “go Hollywood” if Hollywood won’t go for you. The Cambridges are better off going Florida. Lol.

  45. smee says:

So only he can treat his wife with disrespect?

    • IRMAVEP says:

see Oh, well said! Never thought of it as disrespect before. But it is!

What puzzles me is that – as is evident from mountains of photos – Will cannot abide Kate, has no affection for her, and makes cleat he’d rather be anywhere than with her. Yet the Cambridges, or their PR team – continue to arrange joint, rather than separate, public engagements for them, as a matter of policy. Can it be that Will would look even more dull, withdrawn, ‘elsewhere in his head’ when he goes solo? Or that the manic/inarticulate Kate can’t be trusted to conduct herself appropriately EVERY TIME when she. is on her own at an official function?

Either way, the RF have a massive problem if William IS unapproachable and clearly irritated [his ‘tell’ when bored to fill his cheeks with air, then blown breath out through pursed lips ]at official engagements; and Kate exhibits emotional unstablity [or symotoms of her dependence on coke, or MDMA/Ecstasy, to help her through a public event.] These mental health problems, if correct, are entrenched and will not simply go away, even with professional help. What to do?

  46. Prince William should learn to let go and move on. Meghan and Prince Harry have moved on and are helping to make people’s lives better. No more negative vibes. Just stay positive like his little brother.

  47. Maria says:

William is as obsessed with hating Meghan as Piers Morgan and it’s been clear for a long time.

  48. aquarius64 says:

This article is a joke. The Sussexes have a respected media boss like Oprah as an ally. The Cambridges are at the mercy of a two-bit blackmailer masquerading as a journalist. Dan Rotten shows he and the RRs and the BM in general have no influence outside the UK; for if they did Harry and Meghan would not be chairs of the vaccine event and do outreach to various organizations.

I would like to know how the Sussex Squad took down Max Foster.

    • Becks1 says:

He had a clip two days after the interview where he broke down where Meghan was wrong ,mistaken and/or lying (to be honest I never saw it bc I was so disgusted that CNN ran the segment.) the Sussex Squad immediately complained to CNN en masse, via twitter and email, even posting an email to the person directly in charge of programming or something like that. The segment was very quickly buried.

  49. MaryContrary says:

The more he drags this out, and tantrums publicly, the worse he looks. Good luck to the new PR team-they’re going to need it.

  50. Gk says:

Why does he care? Meghan is in a different country now. Let’s face it the Brits overall don’t like Harry or Meghan much anymore so why keep up the hate campaign? William should get over it. Actually I suspect he has and this is just a cover, making H& M scapegoats forever. Trying to remind /distract the British public who probably doesn’t care about H &M much as they aren’t paying for them anymore.

  51. Demi says:

Can’t get over how Meghan looked so beautiful & so cute in that black suit. though Kate in that red coat in the church looked as if she got a hangover..

  52. TheOriginalMia says:

William can’t forgive Meghan for telling the truth about a lie that had been weaponized to hurt her. Whatever, William. Meghan wasn’t allowed to correct the truth for 3 years. 3 years! Her mental health deteriorated to the point she was suicidal, but yeah…be mad because she corrected a lie, said your limpet wife was not to blame and that same wife was a good person. Tell us again you & your family are very not racist, William. Every story that comes out about William makes it plain as day that he is the racist member of the family, who questioned Archie’s skin color. His concerns about Meghan are nothing more than racist dog whistles. Meghan had a stellar reputation and online presence before marrying into that family, but within months of marriage, she’s portrayed as the devil incarnate, who seduced and hypnotized his simpleton brother. But sure. Stay mad at Meghan for surviving your & Kate’s hate campaign.

  53. nicegirl says:

Comment ‘how dare you attack my beloved top ceo wife’ has me cackling

  54. Lucy says:

For entertainment purposes. It would be interesting for someone to do an astrology’ or tarot read on the formally fab 4. William irks me for some reason. Bad vibes

  55. Jaded says:

There’s a certain type of man, and I’ve known a few in my day, who is attracted to but angry at the kind of woman who embodies physical beauty, brains, goodness and charisma. It’s a strange Madonna/whore dichotomy where he realizes she’s someone he’d never stand a chance with so he demeans her to cover up his self-loathing at not being “good enough” for her. So couple Willnot’s twisted attraction/repulsion fixation on Meghan with the obvious fact that he married “down” to a dull, witless doormat while his brother won the marriage lottery, and despite being harassed out of the BRF and England, they’re actually thriving in California making millions and doing good.

    Jealousy thy name is Cambridge.

    • Zebz says:

There is pics of him kissing all over Meg in front of Harry too when they were engaged. He wanted that for himself. His repressed attraction is obvious and these hateful articles an attempt to hide it. He is mad because he knows he could never pull her and Harry did. Period.

    • kelleybelle says:

      Yes, yes and yes.

    • PunkPrincessPhD says:

      Is William auditioning for Iago?

    • MerlinsMom1018 says:

      +1000% THIS ALL DAY

    • Sid says:

ITA Jaded. I know people have said William wouldn’t want a spouse who might outshine him and get more attention, and I can see that to a point, but I really do get the sense that part of him would love to be married to a dazzler but he couldn’t find one to take him. Then here comes little brother who pulls off what he couldn’t. And then on top of that said dazzler is not impressed by his position as a future king, isn’t going to grovel to him, etc. This is some Shakespearean mess.

      • Commonwealthy sounded witty at first says:

He might be that scary type of guy who wants to pull a dazzling woman, then dim her through mental and emotional abuse. That he could never attract a woman like Meghan, and that his younger brother/scapegoat did, *and* they got away from him and are thriving in ways he can’t even dream of, must eat him up. I hope he gets help and is kept far away from Meghan and the kids.

      • Demi says:

Apparently, he had a massive crush on Isabella Calthorpe, he even broke up with kate to try to get Isabella to date him and she rejected him Isabella Calthorpe did some acting so he couldn’t get a beautiful actress to be with him.. Now there’s another beautiful actress on the scene but only interested in his little brother so it makes sense he dislikes Meghan maybe she reminds him of that rejection Lol

      • A says:

@Commonwealthy, that is essentially what he did to Kate. I’m not saying she was some kind of charismatic sparkler in reality, but she had a spirit and a character to her that you could see when she was much younger, right at the start of when she was dating William (wearing a skirt as a see-through shift down the runway for example).

And look at her now. Look at how she is now. Whatever she was before, it’s gone. Even if there wasn’t much, there was something, and it’s gone, and it’s been replaced by a vapid shell of herself, bc she spent years creating herself to be someone who William wanted to be with.

    • Emily_C says:

This happened to me with a former friend in high school. I don’t embody beauty, brains, goodness, or charisma, but he had a crush on me and I was an “uncool” nerd while he was trying to get in with the “cool” kids. So he dumped me as a friend and proceeded to sexually harass me for 4 years. In the stupid social games of high school, I ended up at a higher level than him because I had actual friends, including male friends who told him to shut up or they’d kick his ass.

And that’s where Will is now — far below Meghan, and unable to hurt her any more.

    • Fawsia says:

William wanted someone who will not outshine him! He got it, what is his problem? Harry enjoys his gorgeous, smart, charismatic wife. He puts her on a pedestal, and he is intimidated by her.

  56. Liz version 700 says:

You know what William, take Meghan’s name OUT of your mouth. This jerk is still for the second time! That takes a special kind of twisted jerk.

  57. DuchessL says:

Meghan wanting personal progression really means she worked hard and wasnt lazy compared to others who really didnt care about their personal progression because they’re there just to profit from the title and the easy life without a “real” job. She cared enough about that “job” to truly want to make a difference and not just do what you are asked and gtfo after.

  58. kelleybelle says:

William will never forgive Meghan for telling the truth. End of story. Could Wootton BE a bigger asshole? Is that even possible with these hacks? Ugh. William is at the heart of this whole mess yet it’s everyone else’s fault. What a hateful bunch. They left and now they’re being hounded worse than ever. What’s it going to take to shut these miscreants up?

    • lanne says:

He’ll never forgive Meghan for being a) smarter than him b) better than him at his own damn job c) unintimidated by him d) not giving a shit about him

  59. A Guest says:

Ok, it’s time to 1013 (or whatever the British equivalent is) Danny-boy.

What is going on? We had the “Meghan is a bully” fandango that went nowhere. They turned Prince Philip’s funeral into a circus, having little to do with the man himself. And the last week has seen the BM have a collective meltdown. Becky English was crying on Twitter last night and acting the victim.

The more these people talk, the worse it gets for them. JUST…STOP…TALKING.

    • L4frimaire says:

What was that hack crying about? Did she get a little smoke and couldn’t handle it?

    • Nivz says:

@a guest do tell about Rebecca english. Isn’t she the “hissing at a Fiji market” fantasist?

  60. L4frimaire says:

William’s been hating on Meghan forever. Some said it started at that first “ Fab Four” forum when she just blew them all away when she spoke, and ever since then he’s been bothered. I doubt Meghan is wasting her time worried about William and his shitty, racist opinions. She’s actually working and not spending her days obsessing over other people.

  61. Gabby says:

I am starting to wonder if it was Katie Keen who made the “how dark will the baby be?” comment to Harry. She has a history of saying dumb things. Mention of it in the Oprah interview really triggered Prince Livid. Additionally, he has accompanied Kate on all public engagements ever since, almost as if he doesn’t want to leave her unsupervised in public. Could he be afraid she will let it slip that it was her?

    • Vanessa says:

It was William who said it not kate Harry wouldn’t not be have any sort of discussion with Kate about anything. As much as it pains those psycho Kate stans Harry has never had any sort of relationship with Kate where he would talk to her about anything in his personal life her opinion wouldn’t have mattered to Harry .

    • swirlmamad says:

It was not Kate. It was William. If it were Kate, Meghan would NEVER have said she was a good person. The person she had the least words for, told us everything we needed to know. If you can’t say something nice….say nothing at all.

And the reason Willy is now Kate’s shadow is because he doesn’t trust her to break down and say something foolish as it’s clear she has no agency or self-confidence to pull off a successful engagement on her own…..if he’s there to answer for her/supervise he can more easily keep the capability charade going. (Or he’s constantly keeping one eye on her so she can’t run to Mummy Carole to plot her latest embiggening so easily.)

  62. Isabella says:

    1. Will snubbed Meghan at Commonwealth, well before Oprah
    2. A person who cannot forgive will make a terrible monarch. 20-30 years from now, after Elizabeth and Charles both die.
    3. Anger is Will’s only response to anything. He is a terrible manager. Unlike Harry, he wouldn’t be able to make a living if he had to.
    4. I hope Charles puts the Cambridges in their place when he becomes king. They are NOT next in line. They are in such a panic over this.

    • Tessa says:

Only a few writers like Lacey called attention to William’s nasty PR stunt with FLYBE right in the middle of a tab attack on Harry and Meghan for flying in Elton John’s jet.

    • equality says:

He snubbed her before that at Christmas 2018.

    • A says:

There is nothing to forgive, because Meghan didn’t do anything wrong.

What was wrong was for William to expect and demand that she continue to remain subservient to the lying and the smearing that she was subjected to for so long.

  63. Thaisajs says:

How on Earth are these special snowflakes going to lead the UK when he ascends to the throne? If a b-list starlet can rattle you so much that your entire family falls apart, it suggests that you don’t have the emotional maturity to be king.

  64. A says:

I’ll tell you why William is so angry with Meghan, even though he has absolutely no right to be. It’s because she told the truth, and how dare she do that. According to William, Meghan should have quietly swallowed the lies that were peddled about her. She should have accepted that she will never get defended by the palace, that Kate will have the right to lie about her and smear her and destroy her reputation in the eyes of the public all she likes, and Meghan will just have to deal with it, because that’s how things work.

That’s what everyone means when they say that Meghan simply didn’t “understand” that she was not number one in the palace. She thought they would be on her side, no matter what, even if she isn’t really that highly ranked as a member of this family–she thought, surely they wouldn’t go so far as to allow the media to public a complete and utter falsehood about her, without getting it corrected. Surely they wouldn’t let that happen, even if they weren’t necessarily kind to her as an individual.

What William is angry abt is that Meghan challenged his authority by correcting the lie on her own terms. She challenged the authority of KP when it comes to setting the terms of the narrative, and he is the one in charge of KP. Everyone either has to accept what he says and does, or they have to feel his wrath. This is Britain’s FFK.

    • Curious says:

its sad that William thinks this way . he is a lost man. his brains must be fried.why will he do this to his brother wife, or any female that is married to anyone in that firm.when his own mother went through similar things . his mother was called a lot of things, till she was forced to make a tape about what charles and what KP was doing to her. this time Diana son the heir tried to damage his brother wife reputation and cast them out of the royal family. he took it even farther and tried to stop his brother getting engaged, married, talked about having black children, thinking that will scare harry.he spoke to his uncle Spencer to stop the marriage.it didn’t work ,then he went on to smear them till no end.treated Meghan cold and unworthy, thinking she will leave Harry. that didn’t happen, then he worked with his father and the queen to strip harry of everything, thinking aha now harry will come to his senses. that didn’t work either.harry choose to leave with his wife and son.. this man saw with his own eyes, how badly his mother was treated, and he turned around and served even a worst treatment to his brother and his wife.

      • A says:

@Curious, William is someone who can’t stand being around anyone who is a self-assured individual, who knows what their worth is. Meghan is such a person. He has insecurities, which run deep. Diana, for all of her wonderful qualities, struggled with those things too. What’s sad is that William seems to have inherited his parents’ most negative qualities, and their deepest insecurities, and that they’re manifesting themselves in this way.

    • Greywacke says:

She was supposed to play the grateful slave.

Also, the broadcast got far more viewership than any that W&K could have gotten. If your FFK brought up to think your dick is gold, that has got to sting.

  65. JRenee says:

If any of this is remotely true, he’s worried about something and trying to deflect. I think something much bigger will come out when this Sussex interview dies down…

  66. EM says:

William could give a flip about Kate and her feelings. It’s more like he was angry because Harry & Meghan were more popular than him.

  67. Joanna says:

Megan did not attack his freaking wife! She said they had a disagreement and Kate apologized. How in the fudge is that attacking Kate? Don’t gaslight us! The same people who say that what Meghan has gone through is no big deal, blah, blah are saying Kate waa attacked! And they say it isn’t about race! Bullsheet!

  68. iconoclast59 says:

I don’t know how any British or Commonwealth citizen can look at this guy and think, “Yeah, I want him to be my King!” Based on what I’ve seen, I predict a disastrous reign for King William the Whatever (First?). He’ll loot the Duchy of Cornwall, spending it down to nothing because he likes the lifestyle but doesn’t want to put in the work. He’ll be vengeful towards those he perceives as his enemies; we’ll get nonstop sugary PR from the media, because William will tell them there’s hell to pay if they question or say anything critical. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him try to re-open the Tower of London as a prison!

  69. Keri says:

William will never ascend any throne at this rate. The brf is on it’s last leg. Charles will ascend the throne sure but I bet you the mornachy will be long gone before he even dies.

  70. Well Wisher says:

He is the future head of the Church of England, and cannot find forgiveness, in as much that it is not needed in this instance. He is quite comfortable to openly wallow in his bitterness.
Although it is insufferable to observe William’s obvious grandiosity, his sense of entitlement and his belief in ‘the divine order of kings’ ala King Henry VIII.
It is, more so, infuriatingly uncomfortable to be made aware of his callous lack of empathy.
He has his enablers in the RR attacking a pregnant woman, who have had a miscarriage and endured similar attacks in her first pregnancy.
Notwithstanding, at the time, reports from two tabloids stated that both Meghan and Harry cried with the explanation being Thomas Merkle being unable to attend the wedding.
One read both articles and thinks immediately ‘gaslighting’.
One thing to consider, if no one leaked the narrative of nonexistent crying from Kate with the finger erroneously pointed at Meghan, there will be no need for her to refute the story.
Uncle Gary’s interview provided an insight of several individuals. It was illuminating to witness the conflagration of desires, casting light on this particular item in reporting.

  71. Well Wisher says:

    * Harry and Meghan it their wedding rehearsal.

  72. Well Wisher says:

    * Harry and Meghan cried at their wedding rehearsal.

  73. Well Wisher says:

  74. Isa says:

Can’t get over how bad William is at this. With all the PR at his disposal and yet he’s still so terrible at knowing how to make himself sympathetic. Dude should never be king.

  75. Well Wisher says:

    Apologies for repeats.

  76. 809Matriarch says:

Part of the Lord’s prayer – “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us…”
Frankly, I do not believe Meghan “trespassed” against Struggle Strands, however if he THINKS she has and he insists on holding a grudge, he is hurting himself only. I’ve heard it said, “Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die.”
This man will one day be the Head of the Church of England (dodgy start that denomination has) but still if he thumbs his nose at one of the highest tenets of Christianity what is the point? Seems like their fund raising, their honors, the religiosity is all just a huge pantomime.
