Harry Styles ‘has a strong connection to Tuscany,’ that’s why he took Olivia there

Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles are still on vacation in Italy. Honestly, good for them. I’ve decided that I’m not going to be shady or feel weird about Halivia anymore. I’m going with the flow and just watching this play out. I actually feel like we might be watching this play out for a while – it might be an old-school thing where they feel pressure to stay together through the promotion of the movie they worked on together (which Olivia directed). In any case, Olivia is living out the dreams of many girls and women, and more power to her. I would also love to be on vacation at a beach resort in Tuscany and making out with Harry Styles on a yacht. Here’s more about their hotel and location:

Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde are truly è un paradiso in Italy, having holed themselves up in one of the most iconic and romantic hotels in the world. Page Six can reveal the pair — who have been spotted canoodling on a yacht — have also been staying at the five-star luxury boutique hotel Il Pellicano in Porto Ercole on the Argentario Coast of Tuscany. The hotel — where suites go from around $3,500 a night — is described by The Leading Hotels of the World as.

“The preferred get-away of the icons of the golden age of cinema. Hotel Il Pellicano sparkles with timeless glamor, evoking the flair of ‘La Dolce Vita,’” the site continues. “Magical views, romantic history and soulful staff come together in an atmosphere of understated luxury.”

Styles, 27, was spotted relaxing on the hotel’s terraced beach and taking a swim just before Wilde, 37, flew in from the UK — where she had been visiting her two children with her ex Jason Sudeikis — to join him. The property has just 29 rooms, ensuring privacy for its well-heeled jet-setting guests. Iconic Tuscan destination Il Pellicano, which opened in 1965, quickly became a playground for European royalty, Hollywood actors, fashion and society figures, including Sophia Loren, Queen Juliana of the Netherlands, Charlie Chaplin and designer Emilio Pucci.

A source told us of Styles, “Harry has a strong connection to Tuscany, it is one of his favorite places. He bought a small house there years ago when One Direction first became huge. It is no surprise he has brought Olivia here.”

The couple has been quite the tour of the region lately. Just-released pictures show them soaking up the sun on a private boat off the Island of Giglio near Tuscany last week. And sources exclusively told Page Six that they were spotted strolling with their arms around each other in the picturesque seaside town of Porto Ercole on Monte Argentario earlier on in their European rendezvous.

If Harry owns a little place in Tuscany – swoon, btw – why aren’t they staying there? Will they make their way there eventually? Hm. I mean, I’d prefer a luxury boutique hotel rather than a rock star’s Tuscan bolthole too, but it’s interesting. And I didn’t know Harry has such strong feelings about Italy. A few more notes: they keep saying that Harry took her there or that Olivia flew in from the UK but I’m pretty sure Harry went to Italy and he was there for a week by himself (or with friends) and Olivia flew in from America to join him. But whatever, who knows.

Damn he looks amazing in that first photo, the beige suit. I usually don’t think he’s hot, but he is there.

    • Mabs A'Mabbin says:

He does, but then the nail polish ruins it for me lol.

      • WintryMix says:

I can honestly say the nail polish is what makes it for me! His whole fluid gender expression is my jam. The pics from the yacht, with his six pack abs and hot pink nails, just about did me in yesterday, lol

      • Mabs A'Mabbin says:

You do you gurl! I don’t like my mens all metro and polished lol. If they do more than I do, I start to sideye and twitch. But Harry is hawt af.

  2. Ariel says:

He’s quite a dandy- which i love. The rejection of the concept that a man has to be anti-feminine to be manly.
He is of the new generation.
And good for her. Young working moms need vacations and romance too.

      +1

    • KNy says:

I have never been one of those girls who loved guys in eyeliner and nail polish but when he wore the ball gown for the cover of Vogue, I was like, “I get it. I really get it now.” Love him.

    • sunny says:

I find him so attractive! I just, I think he is so comfortable in himself and doesn’t give a shit about convention. Plus he is talented.

    • Abby says:

All of this. My husband is a “pretty” kind of handsome and he cares about fashion. Not nearly to this degree, but I appreciate a man who looks nice!

    • Sof says:

What about his looks is part of the new generation? He dresses like the Rolling Stones did in the 70s. Remember Keith and Anita wearing the same clothes?

    • alexc says:

Sexy androgyny is always in style…

  3. MaryContrary says:

“Strong connection to Tuscany”-is he multi-cultural? Bwahahaha.

  4. Ang says:

I read that as Tuscan Butthole and now I can’t stop picturing this 😆

  5. Cat C says:

He hardly took her there if she flew in a week later, imo. Gah, I wish he’d match up with someone stunning and make it make sense. Or at least make it interesting. *yawn*

    • Pilar says:

He’s always dated these type of bland women. From Taylor to Kendall to various blonde model types.

He’s cute and seems harmless but the whole hype around him is a bit much both musically and otherwise.

Tbh him and Olivia are probably well suited they both have this performative somewhat superficial wokeness thing going on. He gets less criticism than her because he’s a white male.

  6. Honeychurch says:

He’s been holidaying in Italy for a few years now, I think. One of my friends is a fan and she said he speaks okay Italian now. I guess it’s a nice change from the Caribbean and Hawaii or wherever it is celebs party.

  7. Chantale says:

I love Harry! I think he is cool.

  8. Jill says:

“strong connection to Tuscany” — Harry, same. I mean, have you been there? It’s freaking gorgeous. The food and wine are to die for, the weather, the culture, the art–it’s just perfection.

  9. Emily says:

Harry loves boats. Remember when he left Taylor on one and she wrote Red about it?
