Remember back in April when Lizzo drunkily slid into Chris Evans’s DMs and he was a good sport about it and responded? Yeah me too and I wanted to be Lizzo. Lizzo has decided to shoot her shot again, but this time fully sober. Lizzo recently posted to TikTok that she was pregnant with Chris’s baby. Chris, being the best Chris, responded by being excited about their “little bundle of joy” and said that his mom will be so happy about the news. Chris’s only request was that Lizzo didn’t do a gender reveal party. Below are a few more highlights via E! Online:
Yes, our favorite duo is back with good as hell content. The latest? Well, the Grammy winner posted a TikTok pretending to be pregnant with Captain America’s baby. “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private just between me and the father of my child,” she said. “But since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re going to have a little America.”
And, as it turns out, Chris took a DNA test—and he’s 100 percent that fake baby’s dad. Returning to TikTok Aug. 2, Lizzo shared what appeared to their Instagram direct messages. “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy,” he wrote with a laughing emoji. “My mother will be so happy lol.”
He then added, “(Just promise me no gender reveal parties lol).”
Now, Lizzo is out here getting loose, gotta blame it on this news. “Guess what besties?!” she wrote to her 17.1 million followers. “We secured the child support bag!!!!!”
I stand by my declaration that Chris Evans is the best Chris. Fight me. How cute are these two? I am so enjoying the fact that Chris is having a great time and is taking Lizzo’s fangirling all in stride. I thought it was cute that Lizzo said that she secured the child support bag after Chris confirmed their fake baby news. Since Chris and Lizzo have not met yet, I look forward to the day of shenanigans that will ensue when they do. Anyhow, I see a friendship budding here but I am rooting for Lizzo getting her man. I mean, I will cry for several days but I am all about supporting my sisters. I need more of these interactions between these two because they have been giving me so much life. I literally giggled as I was reading this article preparing to write this post. Lizzo and Chris Evans are the end of summer jam we need. Perhaps we can get Lizzo in a future Chris film and a Chris cameo in the next Lizzo video. Congratulations and good luck to the happy couple on their “baby news.”

Um, does this seem really weird and inappropriate to anyone else, or is it just me? I mean, if this was a practical joke that the pair of them cooked up together, fair enough although not really funny. If this was something Lizzo simply dropped on social media without running it by Chris Evans first, leaving him to have to play along or get crucified for being a bad sport, really weird and inappropriate and ever so slightly stalkerish.
I was thinking the same thing. I personally think its a little inappropriate. But hey if Chris is good sport and finds it funny, thats all that matters of course.
It’s not just you. Imagine how many “I WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABY” private messages he has to weed through every day, then throw public attention by a fellow celebrity on top of it. It has to be awkward, at best.

I’m just not seeing this threat that Lizzo being silly with a person she’s interacted with on the internet is some how weird and creepy. They seem to share a similar sense of humour.
If I’m tending towards anything as questionable it’s wondering if this is a “safe” joke to make because a lot of people don’t consider Lizzo a romantic possibility as a fuller-figured, Black woman. That’s all I’ve got.
