Zoe Kravitz & Karl Glusman’s divorce has been finalized after eight months

"Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald" World Premiere At UCG Bercy In Paris

Zoe Kravitz is pretty famous, right? I sometimes have a hard time assessing how well-known certain celebrities are because I live and breathe gossip all day. But the average adult knows who Zoe is and probably has an opinion about her. She’s a famous actress, she models, she’s the face of certain brands (Michelob Ultra, YSL makeup) and she’s the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Plus, I feel like she’s on a lot of dudes’ “dream girl” lists. My point is that it’s kind of weird, given how famous she is, that we really don’t know anything about why and how her marriage to Karl Glusman ended. She filed for divorce just before Christmas last year and no one is gossiping about it at all. She really keeps her sh-t locked down. In any case, Zoe and Karl’s divorce has been finalized:

Back on the market! Zoë Kravitz and Karl Glusman finalized their divorce eight months after calling it quits, Us Weekly can confirm.

According to court documents obtained by Us on Wednesday, August 25, the judgement on their divorce was filed with a New York court on Monday, August 23, and entered into the records the following day.

Us confirmed that the Big Little Lies alum, 32, and the Greyhound actor, 33, split in December 2020. Kravitz filed for divorce in New York on December 23 after less than two years of marriage.

[From Us Weekly]

That’s all. No TMZ report on prenups, no hot goss on infidelity. Just silence from both Zoe and Karl. Which I admire, but I would really love to know what happened. I’m really starting to suspect that Channing Tatum happened, and that he might be the reason for Zoe’s marriage ending. They met last fall, and they’re only now doing a relationship rollout. They’ve been getting pap’d all over New York City. Not only that, but Page Six has photos of Channing and Zoe together in upstate New York. A little late-summer holiday together, huh? Yeah, they didn’t just start up a week ago.

I’m sure Channing is a nice guy, and Zoe seems happy with him, but looks-wise… he’s serious downgrade from Karl.

    • Hell Nah! says:

Um…no. I majorly disagree – and I’m not a Channing stan by any means. I can see the resemblance between his head and a potato but – sorry – Karl < Channing.

      • MF1 says:

I don’t think Karl is particularly attractive but I do find Channing actively *unattractive*. Plus, Karl has washboard abs, so that never hurts.

      • Sabotagette says:

Channing Tatum is the male equivalent of a butterface. No joke.

They were papped in upstate ny crystal clearly. Apparently Z & a top exec at Hulu had a thing that ended his marriage & they’re still seeing each other which makes sense a pap keeps conveniently catching her and Tatum, even in upstate by where no paps loiter w/o a job. It’s a distraction. Her actual bf is still married.

      • Sally says:

@Mf1 I find him actively unattractive too, not so much because of his actual looks, but because for a while EVERYONE was talking about how hot he was and I just didn’t get it? Like he was presented as this masculine ideal, lusted after by straight men who wanted to be like him just as much and it threw me. He isn’t ugly by any means, but this whole freaky idealisation of his looks (“all women want a man like Channing” has literally been said to me) turned me off forever.

      • lucy2 says:

I’ve never gotten it either, Sally. He seems like a nice enough guy, and he’s not unattractive, but I don’t see the hot.

      • terra says:

Another here for finding Channing Tatum actively unattractive. Meathead and jock types have never done it for me. I’ll take an anxious nerd over a quarterback any day.

I was re-watching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Tuesday and – of course – thinking about how adorable Luke Kirby is, but Will Brill, who plays Midge’s brother, Noah, is also adorable. He was excellent in the movie Test Pattern, which broke my heart on multiple levels.

Also, @Sabotagette: was this around the time of High Fidelity? You’d think if two people were actively destroying two marriages at once she’d have at least gotten a second season out of the deal!

      • Normades says:

        @sabotagette
What?! That is some serious tea if true.

      • Jules says:

        @Sabotagette– say more!

    • DuchessL says:

Channing much hotter in my opinion. He adds to the hotness of this family: Lenny, Lisa, aquaman, zoe and in with Channing?? Where can u find another family like that?

    • SKF says:

Yeah, Channing was alright when he was younger; but these days he looks like a potato. He’s not hot. He’s also increasingly red and seems like a childish, maybe slightly alcoholic party-boy. Sooooo unappealing. Maybe that assessment is unfair and he’s not slightly alcoholic; but he’s definitely lost the hot and I think a lot of people just haven’t realised yet. They’re seeing him as he used to be. I also get major Peter Pan vibes from him and it just makes me want to get as far away from him as possible. If you’ve ever had a relationship with a Peter Pan, you never want to be near one again. He’s a weird one for Zoe. She normally goes for pretty hipsters who are cut but in a much leaner way.

  2. Noki says:

And they had a whole big location wedding. Smh

    • tlady drake says:

not really. Karl is based in France, and the Father of the Bride (aka Lenny Kravitz) provided the venue vis a vis his apartment that he has owned for YEARS in Paris.

  3. shabs says:

I guess he seems like a nice guy…. but he’s not been hot in a long time. He has a s serious case of potato bloat face unless he’s shredded for a role

  4. Sally says:

THIS IS MY CHANCE! *shoos Channing and the gazillion other people out of the way*

  5. Bettyrose says:

I know things are different in celeb world but if you fall in love with someone new less than two years into your marriage, the relationship probably wasn’t strong enough to get married in the first place. I’m not talking about when someone completely changes after marriage and you realize it was a huge mistake. I mean you’re both the same but the relationship just fizzles. Was that really two years ago someone you couldn’t imagine life without? What do I know. I’m terrified of marriage.

    • Granger says:

It’s strange, right? I always wonder if one person was having doubts BEFORE the wedding, but was too embarrassed/afraid/confused to end it. Then a few months in, they realize they’ve made a terrible mistake.

But we’re also talking about actors here, most of whom have a deep need for attention. They get used to the constant flattery they experience on film sets/in Hollywood circles–not to mention meeting incredibly hot people and immersing themselves in exciting situations all the time. The first year of marriage can be the most difficult for anyone, much less a celebrity. But when you’re wealthy and well-connected, it’s easier to give up and walk away, because you’re not worried about shared finances or being able to support yourself.

  6. WTF says:

    She’s gorgeous. That’s all I got

  7. lucy2 says:

Maybe they got married while they both had busy careers, and then pandemic, stuck together 24/7, and they realized the marriage wasn’t right? I don’t know. None of our business, really.

I think she’s just so effortlessly cool. Must be genetic, because I felt the same way as a kid towards her mother – I wanted to be Lisa Bonet!

  8. Laalaa says:

She is gorgeous, but the interviews I watched with her made me see her a reaaaaaalllllyyyyyy boring person, the looks are without any supstance inside. She’s just cool and beautiful and nothing else.
I remember her telling a story on a talk show about meeting Prince. That was painful how bad she told it.

  9. girl_ninja says:

He is so meh. And though pretty, I find her remarkably uninteresting.

  10. iconoclast59 says:

I never would’ve guessed Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum to be each other’s type. But they seem to be getting along just fine without my input (LOL).

Zoe is so effortlessly sexy and chic. I envy that.

  11. sweet-kitty says:

I am obsessed with Zoë’s dating life. I saw Karl at a coffee shop in Williamsburg once, he is smoking hot. I’ve been dreaming about him since Gaspar Noe’s Love and also Gypsy on Netflix. PLEASE DATE ME KARL!

Channing Tatum is a gross departure from her taste, I don’t even get it. There’s nothing Brooklyn, hipster, or cooler than cool about Channing. He is also not attractive in any sense of the world. Ugh.

That’s ok… it means Karl is back on the market.

  12. August Rain says:

She is painfully beautiful but as soon as she opens her mouth she looses substance by the minute. I agree what was said before: she is quite uninteresting. I know nothing about Karl except that I hated the film Love and I want my two hours of watching it back.

  13. Rose says:

Some of these comments about Channing is mean. I get it you don’t have to think he is attractive but calling him gross is too far. It isn’t always about looks.

  14. Sarah says:

Yeah, the mean girls here talk like this because they can hide behind a screen.

  15. Yanick Chery says:

I dont she is boring. I think she is quite secure in herself and doesnt play the publicity game..until now. I knew Tatum is publicity for their new movie bc he is not here type. Now the above gossip that her boyfriend is a married Hulu ex is the real tea. Would make sense why she is traipsing around with cutie but meathead Tatum..

  16. jferber says:

She is possibly the most beautiful woman in the world.
