I thought Tyra as Britney looked awesome!! The whole show was so fun

    • DuchessL says:

That report was too harsh on Tyra. She’s 47 so she can’t dress up as Britney? Why the body shame? Is dressing up that serious now? I’ll dress up as old or new Adele if I want to, at any age.

      • Sof says:

Yes! I’m tired of people trying to police what women over 30 wear (or how long they choose to have their hair). Also, the hypocrisy of being ok with a teenager being sexualized but not liking when an adult woman does it?

      • Kate says:

Right? I read that and though how terrible and nasty to write like that.

      • Kate says:

The weight comment about walking to the all you can eat buffet not the runway disgusts me

      • Alarmjaguar says:

Really glad to see you guys speaking up about that. It was so mean spirited and the kind of thing I really appreciate that Celebitchy avoids

      • lucy2 says:

That was awful, between the body shaming and the ageism, I’m disgusted I even read that. What a horrible site.
Tyra looks great, and the outfits are a fun homage.

      • ooshpick says:

        team tyra on this one.

    • JanetDR says:

Tyra looks cute in those photos!

      • Spicecake38 says:

Yes she does! How would most 47 year olds look ,but that’s not the point anyway.
Tyra is beautiful and is not expected to look how she did on the runway in the 90’s.

  2. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

These ‘papers’ are not a revelation lol. I’ll be reveled when there’s action and consequences.

    • BothSidesNow says:

Yes, as well as the institutions that help facilitate these tax evaders! We have 5 states in the US now that help people/corporations create a haven, just like those that were exposed in the Panama Papers. All or most of which are all Repugnant territories as well!! They love to help each other out committing crimes and forcing federal employees from having a paycheck, as they supported that Orange Stain to do just because he wasn’t getting funding for his f#cking, tax dollar wasted, wall. The Repugnant’s love, as well as Munchin as he pretends to be a democrat, to f#ck with everyone else’s livelihoods exempt theirs, as they are still paid and they live off of substantial pensions with full medical coverage.

    • Jules says:

I agree but it seems that things are changing, there seems to be less tolerance for BS with the pandemic. It feels that with this, the FB whistleblower and Epstein, Prince Andrew and other pedos hanging out on his island, people can’t get away with crap anymore. But we shall see…

  3. bettyrose says:

Hoarding money is ridiculous. Why can’t rich people just pay their fair share of taxes and enjoy what they have? Or better yet, use their extra wealth to create non-profit foundations to lower their tax burden and get involved in how their money is used. I find myself getting more and more disgruntled at tax time as my own tax bracket slowly increases with age and suddenly I’m paying a higher percentage than the worlds’ wealthiest people (and I think I may have paid a higher dollar amount than Bezos last year).

    • Becks1 says:

I get so frustrated at tax time. We pay a fairly high percentage in taxes and I’m okay with that in theory – I’m liberal and I like government programs – but its frustrating to see the megarich pay a higher percentage than we do and be stressed every year at tax time bc we know we’re going to have to pay $$.

Also, for these megarich – what are you going to do with it? you can’t take it with you. Spend it while you can. Or donate it if you can’t think of enough ways to spend it.

      • BothSidesNow says:

@ Becks1, but the loopholes for the rich are there for a reason! It benefits those in government, House and Senate, that are able to use their power through lobbyist that pay handsomely in the end! They are able to utilize these loopholes to their benefit as well, which ends up with them paying a much lower, at times single digit amount, of taxes. It think that they should be taxed on money that creates wealth for them, be it investments or any other scheme that they use. Taxes taken immediately at payout. They should also eliminate the loopholes that they stretch to the imagination of dropping acid, not writing off all personal expenses as corporate. I hate that the wealthy dodge their responsibility. The middle and lower classes are supporting this country, not them! I also think that lobbyist should be banned as well since they aren’t working for the good of the country, just the good for their benefit and the sway of the politicians.

    • Annabel says:

It’s ridiculous and offensive. I’ve had a high income the last few years, so my effective tax rate has been 55% (NYC), and you know what? That’s the way it should be. I have zero complaints about paying a ton of money in taxes every year. I am disgusted by wealthy people not paying their fair share.

  4. Renee says:

Once again the rich get richer with loopholes that end up fricking the average joe or jane. I’m so sick of holier than thou celebs talking about equality while they are literally evading taxes in a foreign offshore account. I get that tax avoidance is normal while tax evasion is illegal. But I am fed up with the fact that I pay my fair share, get audited but the rich MF’s hiding money left and right!

    • ooshpick says:

me too. I am disgusted. I am a small business owner in a very expensive city that tries to pay a living wage to my staff. I believe in taxes and that it is almost impossible to make ends meet with a family and ethics as a small business owner. I am single so I can live more modestly and pay my staff well and donate to the food bank etc….but it is a crime that these people are so greedy despite their blessings.

  5. fluffybunny says:

It’s not even the super rich who are avoiding taxes. At the end of last year my husband got an email from his company saying he could defer up to 50% of his salary because of how much money he made. It was the first time he was made aware that he could do that. It was like some kind of secret club he’d achieved status in and he had to ask his boss WTF. We aren’t even rich just well off. We are paying for our son’s college in cash so we can’t afford to defer half of his salary.

    • Minnieder says:

What did they mean defer half of his salary? Not take it or not report it? I’ve never heard of that.

      • fluffybunny says:

Not take it right now. You tell they how many years you want to defer it for and for how many years once the deferment ends you want them to pay the amount you deferred out to you. Since they aren’t paying it to you now you aren’t taxed on it now. The idea is you defer it until you retire and pay less taxes because your income will be lower in retirement. We had also never heard of it and were kind of baffled by it.

    • Betsy says:

My husband got a new job this year and he’s not at that level but somehow he was told about all these perks for making enormous wads of money. I made myself forget but it is absolutely appalling what perquisites the wealthy get.

      • fluffybunny says:

My husband has been at his company for 26 years and had never heard of it. I think they aren’t supposed to tell people about it until they reach the level where they access it. His boss told him all about it when he asked questions.

      • Minnieder says:

Wow, I haven’t heard of this. Clever way to get around taxes though! I think that’s super shitty but there seem to be endless loopholes. My ex found one: create a bogus LLC

  6. Lunasf17 says:

I know it’s not a surprise but f all these idiots who hoard money and buy multiple mansions while billions suffer. I hate this whole system and all these people suck. Im glad shakiras bag was eaten but wild boars if she’s gonna hide her money and not pay taxes. That’s the least she deserves!

    • ME says:

      The boars knew !

    • Jesma says:

I imagine that she has a firm that manages her wealth. I doubt she is managing her own taxes. That being said she has donated millions in Colombia to provide food and education to thousands of impoverished children through her Barefoot foundation since 1997. She also often donates millions after earthquakes and hurricanes in Latin America.

      • Spaniard says:

As we say in Spain “Ignorance of the law does not exempt from compliance” Shakira is well aware of what she is doing. She has been sentenced in Spain for evading taxes, lying about the time she spends here to avoid paying for large sums of money, so no breaking news for us.
Regarding her supposed “donations”, if ALL the people were honest and pay their taxes, countries would have resources to foot the bill for natural disasters, cover universal healthcare, etc so, donations won’t be needed.
Shakira (and many others) do this kind of actions for PR and also, because donations get deductions in almost all countries and it is another way to pay less,

I like Helen Mirrors makeup. I think it’s cool.

  8. death by bacon says:

I will never click on seriously omg ever again those comment are horrendous.

  9. Leah says:

I thought off shore accounts was a known thing. Anyway, the time has come for the rich to pay their share, I’m tired of paying the govt man while Bezos pays zip.

I was involved in an auction a few months ago that had one of Elton’s pianos up, he sold it for $915G (includes buyers premium). Makes me wonder how much he paid in taxes due to income from the sale. Zip me thinks.

    • BothSidesNow says:

@ Leah, I am done with Bezos and every other company coming into areas that want to build a warehouse and are all clamoring for their business!! The no-taxes offered, the empty promises on behalf of the companies, the shady dealings with regard to contractors/neighborhoods and outcome that they walk away with which benefits only a few, and it’s isn’t the state, city or neighborhoods either! Bezos is destroying the town and the well established ecological grounds for a dedicated number of species that have been nesting in those areas for decades or hundreds of years. All for Bezos and Drumpf to destroy them all for profit. In addition to the hell that Bezos has created for the residents living in the area around his giant penis launch pad/facility that’s disrupting the natives that live their and being muscled to move. If they don’t go quietly, Bezos has the state declare their property unfit or it’s a state sanction to commandeer the property, which leaves the homeowner zero in return for their property. I actually despise Bezos so I have additional reasons to hate him, but I hate how he manipulates the state agencies here to do his dirty work as well.

What’s the point of performing naked if you’re going to great lengths to conceal the fact you’re…naked?

    • Sof says:

To brag about it afterwards? I don’t know.

      • Courtney B says:

I’m madder at people like musk, bezos etc than celebrities. It’s sliding scale. Celebrities at least make it on talent, appeal, luck, whatever. The people who help them in their career (not talking about how they may treat staff) like agents, etc get 10% and other percentages. They all benefit. Bezos etal exploit hundreds of thousands of other people’s hard work. And pay them peanuts.

    • LBB says:

I am not sure of the point but is was a reference to scene in the movie “Forest Gump” when Jenny played the guitar naked.

  11. Ann says:

I watched SNL and didn’t even notice Kacey was in the nude!

  12. ME says:

The filthy rich should be ashamed of themselves. Like you’re already so fortunate to be so rich and then you go and do illegal sh*t to hide your money? You don’t want to pay taxes but benefit from what taxes pay for. F*ck you ! It’s always the middle-class stuck paying the bill.

    • loras says:

Always has been the middle class and will always be.Nothing new.So be it.Plus the ultra wealthy don’t use the govt services the poor and middle class use.

      • ME says:

The rich don’t use the roads, street lights, garbage collection, etc.? This is all paid for by tax dollars.

  13. SpankyB says:

Based on that dress by The Vampire’s Wife they should change their name to Mr. Roper’s Wife.

  14. Serena says:

    Surprise, said nobody.

  15. Eve says:

See? I always hated this bitch.

  16. Veronica S. says:

The problem isn’t celebrities abusing the loop holes, IMO; it’s that the holes exist to be exploited in the first place. Good luck closing them, though. Politicians have their hands in the same pot.

I don’t mind Mirren’s make up that much there. It’s clearly designed with the idea that she would be shot in a runway at distance, which is where it looked perfect fine and editorial in the photos. It’s up close that it fails.

  17. Vanessa says:

I heard Shakira don’t want to pay taxes in Spain either. She is entitled and think she better than others.

  18. Fabiola says:

Hard to feel sorry for Tyra after watching her treatment of the contestants of America’s next top model. I still cringe when I remember her screaming at that contestant in front of everyone. That poor girl.

  19. lucy2 says:

I don’t mind Helen’s makeup from a distance, but up close it was a little odd. But since it was designed to be seen from the “runway”, it’s ok.

Any celeb caught in this is going to plead ignorance and say their money manager did it, but they had to have some idea.

  20. JRenee says:

Minus the ridiculous braided wig, Tyra looks good.

  21. Abby says:

Wow that post about Tyra was harsh. She wore a flattering version of the school-girl outfit and it looked really fun.
