I’ll admit it: I would rather see Angelina Jolie reconnect with Jonny Lee Miller as opposed to seeing her try something out with a younger guy like The Weeknd. JLM and Angelina make sense together, from their shared history to their trust in one another, to their personalities. She’s always spoken highly of him and he clearly still considers her a friend, maybe even the one who got away. So why is there so much energy towards making The Weeknd and Jolie into a thing? No one knows what’s going on with them, other than the fact that they’ve had dinner together twice, gone to the same events and maybe even spent some alone time together. Is this for work? Is this for charity? Or does Abel have a crush?
After connecting over work projects, a friend spills The Weeknd is fawning all over actress Angelina Jolie. The “Starboy” singer — real name Abel Tesfaye — “has been obsessed with Angie for years,” dishes the pal. “He first hooked up with her this summer saying he needed help for a charity project, but his intention all along was to have a serious relationship.”
For her part, the actress, 46 — who enjoyed dinner with The Weeknd, 31, at L.A. hotspot Giorgio Baldi on September 25 — “has been allowing him to wine and dine her because she enjoys the attention,” the pal adds.
“Angie is quite content to bask in the spotlight and get tongues wagging,” the insider continues. But the crooner, who counts Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez among A-lister exes, “has really fallen hard for Angie and thinks he has a real chance with her. His inner circle is warning him that she’s going to break his heart, but Abel’s not listening,” the source notes.
I used to judge Abel from his music and I thought he was probably a womanizer without a lot of depth. But then he had that thing with Selena Gomez and he was truly broken up about her when she dumped him (for Bieber), and it made me reevaluate how I think of him. I’m not saying he’s a hopeless romantic or anything, but maybe he’s not an airhead or a rampant womanizer either. I don’t know. I think it’s possible he has a big crush on Angelina – who doesn’t? – and he’s trying to win her over. But I still hope Angelina ends up with JLM! Please, I need them to have a Bennifer-style reunion in their 40s. It seems to already be happening! Sh-t, what if this ends up being a love triangle?

Some people are better off as friends and this probably applies to Angelina and Jonny. As for her and Abel, who knows? As long as enjoy each other’s company, it’s OK.

I remember she said she had her lovers and didn’t need more after the speculation regarding her and Pitt. So who knows and good for her whatever the case is. She’s a dedicated mother warrior and activist and I respect her. Not only because our astrological charts are nearly identical lol. This is my girl. She’s not perfect but damn near otherworldly in her efforts.
Now a bit of my gut instinct…I think she’s holding onto what’s familiar to her i.e the ex husband thing. They seem very compatible overall. Timing may have been wrong. If it’s something more then so be it and great. But I sense it’s a friendship bond. Who knows.
As for the Weekend or Weekday or Holiday weekend or Thursday, I don’t know him but he sort of irritates me. Maybe I’d feel otherwise if he spoke. Because I have too much time on my hands certain days, I saw they met right around when some of her kids bdays were coming up. Perhaos one or more are fans and she wanted to arrange something for a birthday or some holiday celebration. Or a weekend. I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself.
Then, they could have connected and met up to discuss it further or, simply, because they hit it off and became friends. Or more. She seems like if she enjoys your company, she’ll hang out with you and not gaf who is watching. They’re probably laughing at the speculation. I would.
My friends know I’m always looking deeper into things and trying to reasonably figure it all out. I’m known for it.
It’s not necessarily because I’m smart or correct, it’s because my fiance left me not long ago and my life is in chaos so I cling on to gossip right now until I screw my head back on straight lol. We’ve all been there.

Right. Whose PR is pushing this narrative? Because if this was some others that would be the running comment. Somebody’s PR is doing this or that. So whose PR is this from?

It’s Ok magazine, not some reputable source. Often it’s bored tabloid writers, not someone’s pr person behind these stories.
I never got womanizer vibes from The Weeknd, though we know about his past drug use thanks to his songs and candor about it. He’s not Drake. I think he and Angelina could be cool, but I also think she and JLM could be cool (I don’t remember them being together the first time around I was too young).
Abel sweetie. Angie is woman with 6 kids, possible going/gone through menopause, and is nearing the “F you” 50’s. I guarantee she does not suffer fools. She has a lot on her plate, are you up for parenting teenagers? IJS.
Angie went through forced menopause when she had her ovaries removed as a preventative measure at the same time she had a mastectomy.
I could see Abel and Angie having a fling but there is no way they would be long-term. I think they are probably going to be friends and they can certainly bond over their wild years but I suppose she was coaxing him into that UN thing all along. If he gets hurt then we will get some amazing music out of it, Not that I am wishing that on him

Just not possible. Angelina has too much on her plate to be sharing it with a younger music dude. That guy has another type of vibe. She has 6 kids, divorcing Brad Pitt, she’s all over the place, has baggage I would think a celebrity would not want to share with someone new, she has her humanitarian work and and image she needs to maintain, and wouldnt want to break that for a random guy. Her image took years and years to build and it would litterally take 3 days to bring her down from her piedestal. Angelina would be the type to be the virgin queen forever. It’s all or nothing.
