President Biden tours Florida, tells resident: ‘No one f–ks with a Biden’

This week, President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden traveled to Puerto Rico and Florida to see the aftermath and devastation from Hurricane Ian. Before Ian, meteorologists had noted what a quiet hurricane season we’d had in the Gulf and East Coast. Then Ian ripped through Florida and the South, dropping rain and extreme wind through swaths of coastal communities.

The kicker here is that Florida is practically its own MAGA nation at this point. Florida’s governor Ron DeSantis is a Trump acolyte and at times, DeSantis is more Trumpy than Trump. Marco Rubio is also a huge, dumb problem for Florida, but hopefully he’ll lose re-election. Both Rubio and DeSantis were on the ground for the Bidens’ visit. DeSantis probably thought that he’d get all of the glory. These Republicans always underestimate how good Dark Brandon is when he gets around regular people. President Biden was in full healer-in-chief mode, hugging Floridians and listening to their stories and probably praying with them too. It made for amazing visuals – Biden seemed in his element, among the working-class swamp people he knows and loves. Rubio and DeSantis looked like the out-of-touch elites.

DeSantis also had to admit publicly that Florida accepted federal disaster relief – which none of Florida’s congressional delegation voted for – and that state authorities coordinated with the Biden administration. Not so MAGA Nation after all. The best part was when Dark Brandon summoned his dark power and told a Floridian: “No one f–ks with a Biden.”

I’ll say it again. President Biden and President Obama before him are lovers of PEOPLE. They care about the people and love their country. They want the citizens of this country to prosper no matter what party they are for. That is the difference between them and the GOP, because all they care about is power and grinding the poor into the ground.

Dark Brandon is Joe Biden with who will protect the people of this country.

  2. Digital Unicorn says:

Dark Brandon came and smited the evil doers. De Santis looked like he would rather be at home watching it all from his TV.

I’m pretty sure I saw AF1 when I was walking my dog yesterday morning. As a Florida resident, in Lee County, let me just state for the record- f*ck DeathSantis! I hate him so much. I’m hoping his campaign to kill his electorate through COVID and letting them drown got rid of enough MAGAts that he loses re-election. His margins were THIN and no one is happy how he’s handled Ian.

My husband complained that he was stuck on the tarmac in DC yesterday because of Dark Brandon. I told d him to tough it out! 🤣🤣

    • loràs says:

The polls have him killing Crist.Dont get your hopes up

      • Joanna says:

Oh no! I hate DeSantis too but he has a cult like following here in the Panhandle. He and Matt Gaetz who grew up in this area. I hope Ron loses but probably will win. I hate Florida politics but live here because of my mom. And I don’t want to let them run me out.

      • Mirianthe says:

Don’t believe what you read about polls. Many are unreliable, and they seem to change every day. DeSantis won by the slimmest of margins, and given what happened in Broward County, I’m not even convinced he really got more votes. Fingers crossed.

On a different note, it deeply irritates me when these people (DeSantis and his ilk), who are presumably educated to a certain level, make up words out of thin air that mean precisely nothing!!!! Affectuated????? Please, your moron is showing! And, a little humility and appreciation is in order when it is the responders on the ground who are doing the work, not you, you sausage fingered stolen gloried grifter. Also, it mystifies me how anyone can compare Uncle Joe to the former guy, this is a man who knows what he’s doing, and is doing it well, for ALL Americans. Such a refreshing change from the practised buffoonery of the last lot. JMO.

    • Jez says:

      Effectuated is a word.

    • BeanieBean says:

I noticed the use of that word, too. When talking to a broad audience, i.e., the public, it’s best to use words everyone will understand. And it’s best not to sound like a pompous ass. And best not to wear your jeans tucked into white wellies

Out of touch elites who both voted against federal disaster relief for Hurricane Sandy in 2012, and yet have their hands out now.

    • whatever says:

Of course they have their hands out now. They’re up for reelection in two months. They don’t need it to be fresh in the voters’ minds that they turned down help that people in Florida really need right now. If the election was further away there no way DeSantis would have accepted federal aid.

  6. Emily_C says:

We are not MAGA nation. DeSantis won by less than a percentage point! And if we hadn’t been hit by a hurricane right before election day, he probably wouldn’t have won at all. I have never seen a MAGA hat in person.

  7. Jananell says:

I’m in the Panhandle of FL and I’m a Democrat. So proud of President Biden for coming and how people treated him. I have NO understanding of the republican leadership in Florida. Hypocrits. Vote Blue 💙💙💙

  8. Emmi says:

This is what Biden is good at, this is where many politicians can’t compete – Republicans sure as hell can’t. Because he cares and he can relate to loss and devestation and that’s not something most people can fake.

I honestly wish he were 10-15 years younger. He would be out there wiping the floor with these nutjobs every day. I’m not saying he’s doing a bad job, not at all. But his age is showing and he is not as energetic as he used to be. On the other hand, he may be giving less of a f*ck because he knows he is approaching the end of his career.

  9. Lolo86lf says:

Is amazing how bullies like DeSantis and Trump act with so much bravado when they are at a MAGA rally or giving interviews on FOX News. Once they are in front of an audience who are not brainwashed simpering supporters they shy away like the cowards they are. The proof is in the pictures of DeSantis above and when Donald Trump had to plead the fifth hundreds of times at his deposition a few months ago.

  10. Elsa says:

I love me some Brandon. Dark or not.

  11. loras says:

I am from Florida, fearful throwing away my vote since I am sure DeSantis and Rubio will easily win. Also where is Rick Scott in all of this

    • Twin Falls says:

Rick Scott is busy brushing away the former guy’s racists statements as “just making up nicknames”.

  12. Trish says:

I tweeted Desantis and the republican running for office that lives in my neighborhood and called them out for leaving certain areas without power. Honesty with the technology we have, their should at least be a national Wi-Fi for each state when national disasters happen just so you can get messages out. Some people thought I was dead because I couldn’t text them in any way.
Also the ice situation was a disgrace. It’s ice! Why can’t we get more ice down to people? I have a lot of questions. I know the power people were doing their best and all praise to them but I heard from someone in the know, they were waiting from the CEO of the water company to work in certain areas. No one should have that power. They were just hanging around waiting to work. Makes no sense.

  13. AnneL says:

This reminds me of when Obama visited New Jersey after Sandy and Chris Christie hugged him. He tried to deny it but it was on tape. Oh, there was a hug all right!

Watch for all the other nasty critters trying to wrest Trump’s MAGA crown away from him use this against DeSantis when primary season rolls around. Won’t be long now.
