My mom loved (loves) Prison Break, mostly because she loves Dominic Purcell. So, I always associate him with that – the kind of man loved by moms of a certain age. The only gossip I ever paid attention to when it came to Purcell is when he dated AnnaLynne McCord when she was much younger. I had no idea that Purcell has been quietly dating Tish Cyrus for a few months, nor did I realize that they’re so loved up, he decided to propose?? And she said yes??
Y’all know Tish Cyrus because she’s the momager of the Cyrus clan – she’s still very active in Miley’s career, and all of her kids still ask her to lend a hand in their careers. Tish and Billy Ray were on-and-off for decades, but they finally ended things for good several years ago. Billy Ray is also engaged to someone named Firerose who gives off big grifter vibes. I guess Tish wanted to move on as well. But Dominic Purcell?? And he already proposed??
Anyway, congrats to the happy couple. I actually love the ring.

That’s all good to know. I was just obsessed with his looks in those Prison Break days. That first season was so awesome. But I haven’t thought about it or the lead actors in years.
I looked it up, they’ve been dating for at least 18 months and Tish’s marriage to Billy Ray has been over for years. So good on her.

It’s driving me crazy – in the thumbnail on the main page (the one where he’s in a red cap) Dominic Purcell looks nothing at all like himself. I totally thought he was that character actor (older, slim, grey haired, always has a moustache, sounds kind of southern, often plays militant-father types) whose name and previous works have completely eluded me at the moment (and google isn’t helping!).
They seem like an odd couple, but I wish them all the best!
