In March and April, we got a blitz of information from and about Melania Trump. Melania doesn’t give a f–k about anything anymore – she lives in a bubble of privilege, she spends time with her son and her parents, she goes shopping and gets spa treatments and that’s it. She lives a separate life from her husband and she “lives in an ivory tower of denial.” Well, now her husband is facing a 36-count federal indictment for stealing all of that classified material. Will Melania Trump finally divorce him? Probably not, according to Page Six’s sources.
Melania is standing by her man: “She is used to this,” says an insider. “They are used to dealing with this stuff.” Another source tells us, “Melania is standing by her husband, but quietly and privately. He’s been on the phone with Melania, who’s supporting him 100 percent. They both knew this — and more — was coming.”
Melania was in NYC when the story broke: Donald Trump was at his private golf club in New Jersey, where he reportedly DJ’d opera from an iPad, when news of the indictment broke. Melania was spotted looking stone-faced in NYC. “[Melania] flew to the East Coast to see her mother in the apartment she personally decorated for her with a designer,” says another source. “She even chose the fabrics herself at the D&D building. She will meet up with Donald at Trump Tower, where he has legal meetings.”
Melania will not go to court with him: The source close to the family tells us they will both then head back to his Florida fiefdom. “Trump will be back at Mar-a-Lago, where his security is [better] and she will be with him,” says a source. “But she won’t be with him when he surrenders himself to authorities.” Trump is expected to surrender in federal court in Miami on Tuesday, when he will be fingerprinted and booked before facing a judge who will will set conditions for his release after hearing from lawyers for both sides.
Melania’s outlook: Another source tells us, “Melania knows what she signed up for. She is in a wait-and-see position. He’ll either be in prison or be President. Or both. It’s not a time for fighting within the family.”
Ivanka is in the wind: Ivanka Trump who lives in Miami, meanwhile, “Will be staying far away from daddy,” says a source. Another insider tells us, “Ivanka has disappeared.”
Ivanka has disappeared. She’s in some gated community for billionaires, and I would assume that Ivanka and Jared are worried that the DOJ might come for them too, especially given how much money the Saudis (and others) “gave” to Jared. As for Melania… yeah, I know people are like “sure, Melania wants to be the widow,” and maybe that is her outlook. But I would have hoped that a shiver ran down her spine when Ivana “fell down the stairs” at a convenient moment for Donald. Like, Melania is expendable. Her husband truly doesn’t care if Mel lives or dies. And Melania knows a lot.

Melania would be harder to knock off since she has Secret Service protection. I’d keep them near whenever Trump was actually around. She does “know what she signed up for”.
Why would Donald try to do away with Melania? I’m sure she knows some things but she is not a snitch and knows to keep her mouth shut. She probably didn’t want any inside information in the first place.

I believe Melania knows what’s what and I believe she helped. I know wives don’t have to testify against their husbands but they can squeeze her. They do have ways of getting the info they need. They have texts where trumps personal assistant ( who has been indicted) is talking to either Melania or Ivanka about putting the boxes on the plane. I believe it’s Melania.

Trump has always had a load of boxes he carted around with him full of his “souvenirs.” Newspapers and magazines, photos, letters, etc. This was pre-president. The collection got bigger when he became president. Once Trump was subpoenaed, Melania knew what was happening, but before that, she may have assumed it was his standard hoarding. It was definitely Melania on that text because she was accustomed to Trump dragging his crap around.

I believe Melania is the unnamed family member on page 22 of the indictment, telling Nauta there wouldn’t be any room for the boxes on the flight to Bedminster. He refers to the person as “Ma’am” so we know it’s a woman, and the wording “put boxes to” is a little awkward and sounds to me like it comes from an English as a Second Language speaker (not that I don’t think that every member of that awful family is equally capable of weird grammar). I think maybe she was trying to put some distance between the stolen material and herself, although I also think she has made her ride-or-die decision to go down with the ship for some mystery payout or else she would have left 7 years ago.

My intuition says it’s more likely to be Ivanka or even Lara, as they seem much more involved in the day-to-day stuff. As far as we know, Mel has been holed up in NY, not getting involved with the details of moving boxes from Maralago in 2022. Memorial day is a three day weekend that basically kicks off summer. People get the day off and BBQ or camp for the weekend. Happy Memorial Day is totally something people say.

Oh I’ve definitely heard people say “Happy Memorial Day!” They’ll say it leaving work on Friday before the long weekend, or on the day itself. In my town Memorial Day is almost the most festive of the year, with a parade and a carnival and live music everywhere and all sorts of almost-out-of-school events for the kids. It’s a huge party. I’d bet that 75% of Americans today have no idea what the “Memorial” part is supposed to mean. Certainly in my town they don’t.
But in reading the indictment I got the feeling that it was Ivanka and she was including the chipper greeting to soften the fact that she was asking him to do something on a holiday.
I don’t believe it was Ivanka…she checked out after the January 6th incident. She knew she and Jared had to distance themselves immediately because they knew exactly all of the illegal things her father had done and was currently doing and wanted no part of it. She knew that eventually he would be caught and held accountable and didn’t want to dig herself any deeper into the hole she was already in.
Melania is deplorable, but she is smart enough to navigate this situation. She can’t divorce Trump because his crazy MAGA base will come after her (and maybe even her parents and their son). But she can still live the same kept-wife lifestyle that she has had for years minus some of the “friends” she may have made over the years…She stays away from Trump so she is largely not implicated in most of his crimes. If the boxes stay in her primary residence(s) and she’s not living with Trump…I think she’ll be fine.

She is holding out since his health is a ticking time bomb and that makes her closer to the final prize of what she gains out of his death. Melanoma isn’t staying “by her husband” due to loyalty, it’s all of for the substantial properties and the wealth that comes wrapped in a box with a bow which she will have once he is either locked up and/or once dead.

If he is convicted on the Espionage Act charges he is not entitled to keep any of his property, nor are hisfamily entitled to any of his properties. Then all of his attorneys that worked for him and didn’t get paid will get their cut.
