Andrew Tate has been charged with rape & human trafficking in Romania

Just after Christmas last year, vile misogynist Andrew Tate tagged Greta Thunberg in a tweet about how many cars he owns. Greta clapped back with one tweet and she destroyed him. His life has never been the same since then. After Greta’s clapback, Tate decided to film a video directed at Greta. He filmed it from his Romanian compound, and Romanian authorities saw the video and realized he was in residence at the compound, so they went and arrested him for some of his vile crimes against women. Tate has basically been in jail or under house arrest since then. Well, here’s an addendum to the story: Andrew Tate has now been charged with rape and human trafficking in Romania.

Controversial influencer and former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate has reportedly been charged with rape and human trafficking offences in Romania, according to U.K. reports.

The BBC reported Tate, who was arrested by Romanian anti-terrorism authorities last December, has also been charged with “forming organised crime group to sexually exploit women.”

According to the indictment Tate and three others have been engaging in human trafficking in Romania as well as the U.S. and the U.K.

Tate’s brother Tristan has also reportedly been charged alongside two other suspects. The brothers are understood to have been under house arrest in Bucharest, Romania since March.

On Tuesday morning, Romanian prosecutors charged the brothers, who are now set to face trial.

According to The Guardian, the charges pertain to alleged offences against seven women, which the Tate brothers have denied.

Tate and his brother did these crimes out in the open in Romania, and many of the most vile crimes against women are on camera. These charges are a long time coming and I’m glad the Romanian authorities followed through. Tate is a piece of sh-t and he deserves to go to prison for the rest of his life. It’s still crazy that this whole thing started when Tate tagged Greta Thunberg in a stupid tweet.

Such a vile monster. The take down is way overdue.

  2. Bee says:

GOOD. May they both rot in jail!

  3. Maida says:

Good to see him being held legally accountable. I doubt that anything will matter to his superfans, however.

  4. Tennyson.Sarah says:

Romania in spite of its limited means is brave.
A reminder that Britain declined to file any charges after 4 years of investigation, 2015-2019, even though 2 young women tried to press charges for rape against Andrew Tate and a third for repeated strangulation.

Yes just what I was thinking! Thank you Romania for doing what the UK couldn’t or wouldn’t do.

    • Christine says:

Thank you, Romania. It’s beyond depressing that this man is still a talking point.

I was so glad to hear this news! I was discharged from hospital this afternoon, but before I left, I was actually talking to one of the young doctors about this vile creature. She was absolutely stunned and couldn’t believe she hadn’t heard of him before.. that wasn’t surprising to me because after all she is a very very busy young doctor in a big public hospital. I wondered what happened to him. I hope the Romanian legal system deals with in as he deserves.

Romanian here. Romanian authorities had no choice he publicly humiliated them on a world scale in videos where he showed how he’ll walk in prison and toss notes left and right and the Romanians would just fold and open the prison’s door. They would have proved his point about their corruption. He self sabotaged himself with that.

Secondly, as poetically justice in action it would be lovely if the pizza boxes would have brought his doom but that has been debunked, he was already under surveillance at the time. The pizza chain made a killing though, after a brilliant marketing campaign around the alleged pizza boxes/smoking gun.

But Greta brought all this upon the brothers and I couldn’t be more grateful. A summer martini 🍸 to Greta!!!!

Interesting. I didn’t know that he was embarrassing the Romanian authorities, but it’s not too surprising considering his arrogance. My understanding is he left the UK for Romania specifically because he said he could get away with sexual crimes there. It seems like they’ve been building a solid case. Hopefully he rots in jail.

    • BeanieBean says:

Cheers to Greta & the hubris of men!

  9. HeyKay says:

    Prison. 15-25 years minimum.
And he should be scrubbed from all SM.
Just post the fact that he is a criminal and in prison.
The cruelty and sickness that man was pushing, and other young men were learning his terrible views has no useful reason to be seen.

Everything I know about Andrew Tate I learned from my preteen son, who wa so disgusted and infuriated by him that he had to tell me about it because it was keeping him awake one night. Not all the boys/young men think this guy is amazing.

      • Kkat says:

Yeah I also learned about him from my son’s, 18 and 27, the are totally disgusted by him and were gleeful about when Romania arrested him.

And he replied to Greta’s epic takedown with “how dare you” 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Pretty lame response. Ain’t it grand when the trash takes itself out

  12. SammiB says:

Hoist with his own pertard, one might say 😏

  13. j.ferber says:

He needs to be under the jail for the rest of his life.
