I honestly forgot that we were supposed to still know/believe that Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were “dating.” They started seeing each other seven months ago?? We only heard about them in April, although Deuxmoi’s sources claimed that Kylie and Timothee had been dating for longer. The official “sources” told People Magazine that it was just a casual thing, like dating and hooking up whenever they were in the same city. Well, it’s over now! At least it’s over according to Life & Style:
Over and done! A source exclusively tells Life & Style that Timothée Chalamet has ended his romance with Kylie Jenner. The duo’s split comes seven months after they first sparked relationship rumors earlier this year.
“She’s telling people that things between them naturally fizzled out because they’re both busy and traveling,” the insider reveals, before adding, “But friends are whispering that Kylie got dumped.” Some close to the Kylie Cosmetics founder, 25, even suspect that the Dune actor, 27, used the reality star for publicity for his upcoming Wonka movie.
“Kylie is playing it casual, but her friends know this must sting,” the source adds. “Timothée was the first guy she really spent time with after splitting from Travis [Scott]. She even introduced him to her family.”
I would actually pay to watch Timothee interact with Kylie’s family. I bet Kim and Khloe flirted with him and Timmy loved every second of it. If he dumped her, so be it. Her people were running around, briefing People Mag and E! News about the situation for months and I certainly don’t blame him for not wanting to get too serious.
Meanwhile, Kylie’s ex Travis Scott has a new album, and there’s a song (“Meltdown”) which many believe is a diss directed at Chalamet. The lyrics: “Wrappin’ the cheese, wrap around me ’cause I’ve got property (Wrap, cheese, wrap) / Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs (Vs), got the Willy Wonka factory (Vs) / Burn an athlete like it’s calories, find another flame hot as me, bitch.” Excuse me???
Update: LOL, TMZ is now reporting that Timmy and Kylie are still happening.

I am sure PMK will spin the story and say she dumped him. Did anyone really care they were dating? It got almost zero attention.
PMK is not overly invested in her daughters’ dignity. If the story can be dragged out longer that way, then dumped she is.

It’s just Kylie’s team trying to make it seem like she’s the “bigger star” out of the two of them. In reality, most people were shocked he dated her at all. He’s really popular, especially among Gen Z. They love him and don’t really like her. This family is clinging to the last bit of fame they have. I am sure they are clamoring to find Kylie a new bf as we speak, or at least put out fake rumors about all the famous men that want to date her. It didn’t work when Kim’s team tried to link her to Tom Brady, and it won’t work for Kylie either.
Agree. Timmy is the Johnny Depp of Gen Z—but ’90s era Depp, back when he seemed very cool and hip and was getting actual kudos for his acting. He doesn’t need Kylie or the Kardashian press machine to get attention; between the massive success of “Dune” and his earlier indie movie cred, he’s on top of the world right now in terms of his power. In that regard, I think he’s one of the rare dudes to date a KarJenner who actually isn’t looking to use them for more fame or money.
If anything, being connected to Kylie actually downgrades his image. He’s a young Hollywood A-Lister and despite all the KarJenner machinations, Kylie is still really only a reality star/makeup influencer, plus she comes with a lot of bad press and baggage. Timmy’s image as an intellectual, sensitive artiste looks a lot less believable now too, because Kylie’s whole image is built on looking—for lack of any better way to put it—like just another vacuous, Instagram bimbo. It’s probably part of the reason why she’s been posting more subdued pics of herself lately; lots of long, flowy sun dresses and soft, romantic, Parisian-like pics and poses. Her images over the last few months have seemed a lot less sexed-up and would not be shocked if Timmy is part of the reason behind it.
That said, I also think their “relationship” has been more or less what it’s described as here: They’re f*ckbuddies who meet up whenever one of them is in town, and maybe they party together a bit (Timmy seems like he likes his nose candy), but that’s more or less it.
I present this award to the biggest non story in history. 🏆

Kardashian-style publicity is no asset for Timothy. He’s such a big upgrade for Kylie that I’m sure she tried to hang on to something that was never really there.

Kylie wanted a high(ish) profile bf after her split, Timothee wanted to not be such an obvious f*ck boy after all the stories of his escapades, their spin drs talked and bam, they’re “dating” for “months” despite zero actual evidence and “break up” so it’s not weird if she doesn’t show up to his next red carpet. This family seems to, at least to some extent, use men the way that men have historically used women. As arm candy, and they always have to have the last word. NO woman in that family is ever offically “dumped” – either the man is dying to get them back or, at best, it was an amicable split.
And fine, whatever, do you. But I remember when the Pete Davidson/Kim Kardashian “relationship” LOL started up. My son is about Pete’s age, and I was thinking, “Oh my God, so glad my kid is not famous and would never warrant Kardashian attention.” Because in general, it really never seems to end well for the dudes who get involved in this family. Am I saying everything is all their fault? Definitely not, however there’s just always a very public narrative and PMK never loses the publicity game. But I think Timothee has enough clout to not be worried. I was surprised he let his name be attached to them in the first place, but apparently their pull is strong LOL
I don’t think they’re looking for arm candy as they want to form a power couple. Kanye got Kim and then the rest of the family into spaces that no one was going to let them into. Those are the kind of partnerships they want to form, especially Kim but I don’t think that’s going to happen ever again. They’ll have to settle for B-D list men.

Uhhh, can anyone really call it a relationship when we all know that he would ( if this is even true) NEVER be seen in public with her? I think if they did hook up, it was a few times and Kris tried to spin it into a relationship. To be honest, I don’t think any A-lister would date any of them. Too much trouble, too much Kris who doesn’t really get boundaries.
