Peter Phillips & Lindsay Wallace broke up after three or four years of dating

In 2020, Peter Phillips and Autumn Phillips’ divorce flew under the radar. They split one month after Prince Harry and Meghan’s exit. We soon learned that Autumn and Peter had been on the outs for months, and it took more than a year for them to finalize their divorce. Peter, as one of Queen Elizabeth’s favorite grandchildren, was completely protected by the British media and nothing scandalous came out of the divorce. There was some insinuation that Peter cheated though, and magically, he quickly moved on with a married woman named Lindsay Wallace. Lindsay left her husband around the same time as Peter and Autumn split. Then, during the height of the pandemic, Peter did a 460-mile booty call to get to Lindsay in Scotland. That was when we learned of their relationship. Peter then did a full girlfriend-rollout, bringing Lindsay to multiple royal events from 2021-23, even though she was still technically married. Well… Peter and Lindsay are over.

Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips has suffered fresh royal heartache after splitting from his girlfriend. The late Queen’s favourite grandson, 46, started dating Lindsay Wallace, 43, in 2021 after the end of his marriage to Autumn Kelly, 45.

The King’s nephew and Lindsay Wallace are said to remain amicable, with nobody else believed to be involved. The pair each have two children from previous marriages. Lindsay was a classmate of Peter’s sister Zara Tindall, 42.

A source said: “They were friends before their relationship blossomed. But Peter and Lindsay have gone their separate ways as the relationship simply ran its course.”

Peter, eldest son of Princess Anne and her first hubby Captain Mark Phillips, once introduced Lindsay to his gran, Queen Elizabeth II, at Windsor Castle. And the 18th in line to the throne took his lover to royal events such as Wimbledon, Ascot, the Coronation concert and baby christenings.

They first met when she and Zara attended £45,000-a-year Gordonstoun School, Scotland. It is believed he and Lindsay reconnected and became friends again at a 2019 reunion.

In February 2020, Peter’s Canadian wife Autumn Kelly — who he married at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, in 2008 — told him she wanted to split.

[From The Sun]

I genuinely wonder if Lindsay ever finalized her divorce. It would be funny if this relationship ended because she went back to her husband. Anyway, my favorite part of this whole thing was that Peter’s jumpoff was his age. Like, he didn’t go for some 20-something aristocrat. He went for a generational peer and they seemed well-suited for each other. Beyond that, it was just fascinating to watch the double-standards at play for what should have been a society scandal involving QEII’s grandson leaving his wife for a married woman. Barely anyone said a word and the would-be scandal died on the vine.

  1. To me he seems as dull as the milk he used to shill for China. It was China wasn’t it?

  2. Amy Bee says:

Is this the rumoured royal couple that was going to break up in the new year?

    • StillDouchesOfCambridge says:

They are giving us this separation to calm down speculation about our favorites willie eggplant and kkkhate but it’s delayed/cbecause of Kate’s illness.

  3. MaryContrary says:

The hypocrisy of the press to let this all roll out without scandalous commentary is insane. Let’s see-he lives rent free on his mother’s property, he uses his royal adjacent role to land all kinds of lucrative business deals including doing business in China, he married a commoner Canadian, he got divorced, he was apparently dating this woman while she was married, he broke covid protocols, he discusses the royal family in the press: and! crickets from the press. Argh.

  4. ElleE says:

How many “favourite grandsons” did QE have? lol

Does anyone know if Autumn brought the kids to live in Canada?

    • Amy Bee says:

Autumn still lives in the UK with the children. She’s dating some millionaire.

    • Thena says:

As far as I can tell, Autumn remained in the UK to make it easier to share custody. She does take the children for visits to Canada, as we assumed when Peter showed up without the kids at the Christmas events last year.

  5. Chaine says:

Another outlet’s headline is calling him “the worlds most eligible bachelor” lol if by most eligible you mean jobless and doesn’t he still live on his mom’s property?

  6. Islandgirl says:

This is why the tabloids feel they have so much power. They really can set the narrative.
This is a story they ignored, so it wasn’t on the morning talk shows, and the media didn’t pick it up.
Harry and Meghan have to thank the Oprah interview, their documentary, Spare, and social media that their real story out there.

She is obviously a very attractive woman but does NOT take good pictures, which makes me laugh. I have an expressive face and am also always being captured with some ridiculous look on my face.

I could not possibly be less interested in him, being the human embodiment of soggy white bread.

Is there some official listing of QE II’s “favorites “ or do we all get to just declare it? I’m her favorite American ever, BTW.

  8. Nanea says:

    *Royal* heartache, huh?

    Royal *adjacent* more likely.

The grifting milkman used the huge Longleat estate, the family seat of Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath, as the backdrop for his ad.

Was it because the RF didn’t have a spare property at that time that he could have used?

Or were they actually embarrassed by his shilling for milk and wanted to distance themselves from him?

I feel sorry for the kids – and for all the people who didn’t break Covid rules, not even for loved ones dying, when PP got out of paying a fine for gallivanting and joyriding around in the countryside just by being related to QEII.

“… Peter Phillips has suffered fresh royal heartache…”
Then there’s a bunch of mutual breakup, relationship ran its course blah, blah.
Honestly it sounds like Lindsay dumped him.

  9. AC says:

    A very dysfunctional family.

The picture at the end of the story? He looks a LOT like Andrew.
