Rebecca Romijn unveils her adorable twin girls in “Got Milk?” ad

Rebecca Romign Milk Mustache Ad Unveil and the Got Milk? 'Great Gallon Give' Kickoff

I’m ready to declare Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell the winners for “making the most adorable chubby happy sweet gorgeous babies in the world”. Look at those gorgeous girls! Anyway, this is Rebecca and Jerry unveiling Rebecca’s new ad for the “Got Milk?” campaign, in which she posed with their 1-year-old twin girls Dolly and Charlie. I don’t know which girl is which, but those are some absolutely beautiful babies!

Rebecca Romijn isn’t the only model in the family!

On Monday, she unveiled her second “Got Milk?” ad — and it stars her adorable 1-year-old twin girls, Dolly and Charlie.

The ad is a part of Got Milk’s “Great Gallon Give” campaign, which emphasizes the importance milk plays in building strong families. The campaign also promises to donate hundreds of thousands of gallons of milk to families in need.

Says Romijn: “I know that milk is a valuable part of building a stronger family. For me, milk is the best choice. It supplies so many nutrients that are important for my children’s development — and to my overall health, too. I encourage all moms to make it easier to build a strong family in 2010 by setting their table with milk.”

Look for the ads in magazines – including Us Weekly! – beginning Jan. 15. For exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, visit WhyMilk.com.

Is there anything left to say? I want to pinch baby cheeks. That’s all I can think of right now, and I’m not even a baby person. If I could have a baby that adorable, maybe I would become a baby person, though. Pinch pinch pinch.

    Awwww. 🙂

  2. Toe says:

OMG the kids are soooo adorable. I dont like the dress on her.

  3. wow says:

I had forgot she had kids. How adorable. Rebecca is a freaking amazon! She was one of my fav models back in the day. Also loved her on Ugly Betty.

  4. Firestarter says:

I am sorry, kids are cute and all, but Jerry O’connell is the dumbest looking man around.

That outfit he is wearing looks like something a high school guy would wear on a Saturday night date to The Outback Steak House.

    Onion Blossom anyone?

  5. Dolkite says:

I didnt know they still did these ads. I always hated them…those milk mustaches are about the same to me as watching someone drool.

  6. Kiki says:

I knew her babies would be pretty.

  7. LolaBella says:

Cute babies; they look very happy.

  8. babies look so pretty.

  9. Jeane says:

She gained some weight, but it looks good on her!
    Not loving the dress though…

And what’s up with Jerry’s outfit?? I’m not saying they should go all Posh & Becks on us with the matching outfits, but couldn’t they at least have tried to wear clothes that make them look good together?

And oh yeah, very cute babies 🙂

  10. Iggles says:

As a person who no longer eats dairy I’m going to hold my tongue about this ad campaign.

I will say that the babies are adorable. (even though the product is harmful..)

  11. LolaBella says:

@Firestarter: LOL at schoolboy Jerry; he looks like he’s wearing a Gryffindor school tie in the middle thumbnail.

  12. lucy2 says:

Very adorable babies, they all seem very happy. But in general I’m not a big fan of celebs putting their kids out there like that – ads, magazine covers, photoshoots, etc.

Jerry does look a little silly. And the milk mustaches have always grossed me out a little, especially because it’s not milk they use in the ads. I forget if it’s yogurt or something else but it’s not milk.

  13. Samantha says:

My head is going to explode from all the cuteness!

  14. juiceinla says:

hard to care about Jerry’s clothes, when you have such cuteness drooling all over.. BABIES and Kittens people.

  15. Kiki says:

    @Iggles: Why is milk harmful?

  16. Sumodo says:

    Got milf?

  17. TaylorB says:

VERY cute kids, the one on the left has quite a nice mop of hair.

  18. Ally says:

@Kiki: They give antibiotics and hormones to the cows to remedy the packed conditions they’re raised in and to maximize milk production. These can interfere with your own body chemistry.

One example, if you switch to organic milk (and cheese, yoghurt, etc.), you’ll find your skin clears up of most (especially severe) skin blemish-type problems, cystic acne, etc. Makes you wonder what it was doing to the inside of your body.

If organic is unaffordable, avoiding high-fat dairy products, and choosing the lowest-fat options available, helps, too. The fat seems to be where the chemical load is concentrated in the dairy products.

  19. Firestarter says:

@LolaBella- I had to look up Gryffindor tie (I know, I need to read Harry Potter!) and AHAHAHAHA! It does, it does!
    P.S- I love milk! : )

  20. snowball says:

    Sweet, beautiful babies! Love ’em.

I still can’t get over those names though. Yeesh. Not quite as bad as Apple and Moses or Phinneas, Hazel and Henry though.

  21. Iggles says:

    Ally – Exactly! 😀

  22. Lee says:

OOOOHHHH, those babies! Now those are adorable babies! I couldn’t care less about the milk ad, or even the parents, but those babies are beyond cute. If they don’t bring a smile on a cold January day, nothing will.

  23. WTF?!? says:

    Dem babies iz deLISHous!!

And Iggles, milk isn’t harmful. Your choice to not partake is fine (due to your belief in growth hormone abuse, added chemicals, government conspiracy, whatev), but don’t try to spook people who wish to have a *healthy* diet.

  24. Allison says:

@WTF?!? you should do your research. milk is truly disgusting when you know the truth about it. it is far from healthy. the nutrients in it are available in plenty of non-disgusting foods.

the ad is really cute though. what precious babies!

  25. EMV says:

    ADORABLE!!!

  26. Praise St. Angie! says:

    so, then…

it’s not MILK that’s bad for you, it’s the stuff that they “ADD” to the milk (in this case, the cow’s diet) that’s bad for you.

so, if your milk container is marked “antibiotic and hormone free”, you should be OK.

does anybody know when the milk industry began adding these things to the cow’s diet?

  27. Kim says:

It’s too bad she is pimping out her babies for money. I wonder why she doesn’t want to protect their privacy. Mediawhore. Do these comments sound familiar.

  28. jen says:

I thought everyone knew this about milk…?

On topic – Babies. Are. Adorable 😀

  29. crazydaisy says:

    learn about milk here:

    http://www.realmilk.com

    http://www.notmilk.com

best dairy product IMHO is organic raw goat or sheep cheese. as for medicated, pasteurized homogenized glue? no thanks!

  30. Iggles says:

    @ Praise St. Angie!:
so, if your milk container is marked “antibiotic and hormone free”, you should be OK.

If you’re not allergic to it then in theory.. Problem is a huge percentage of people are lactose intolerant.

According to Drs. Marie Boyle and Sara Long in their book “Personal Nutrition” 70% of the world’s population is lactose intolerant. With a greater incidence among people of African descent, Mediterranean decent, Native Americans and Asians.*

Also, many Americans have food allergies (to milk, gluten, or wheat) and since they’ve been eating the food all their lives they do not realize the food is making them sick.**

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But I learned about a lot of this stuff recently. My sister learned she had MANY food allergies that were causing digestion problems, rashes, weight issues, etc.

My family is learning to change our habits to incorporate more whole foods and eliminate problematic foods. It a journey that gets easier as we go along, but it is definitely not a straight line from A to B.

  31. Iggles says:

    crazydaisy – Dude, you rock!

Short and sweet message explains it all 😉

  32. momma says:

Those babies are gorgeous, on another note that dress is NOT her friend.

  33. Praise St. Angie! says:

    Thanks for the info, Iggles.

  34. moo says:

The babies are absolutely adorable, Rebecca looks great, but Jerry looks like utter shit!

  35. SageAdvice says:

I don’t drink milk because I don’t like it and I always thought it was creepy that we, as humans, were drinking the stuff that baby cows drink in order to grow up healthy. Seems like we should stop drinking milk when we are weaned off of our own human milk.

Anyway, BABIES!!!! Soooo friggin cute. They look so happy and sweet and giggly.

To me, this isn’t pimping one’s children. For one thing, the draw isn’t the babies, even though they are simply adorable. And I highly doubt Got Milk was in a bidding war over pictures of these children.

  36. lucy2 says:

I’ve gone organic with pretty much all of my dairy products (and anything else I can). Seems the best solution for me – still get the benefits but without the hormones and added chemicals.

  37. GatsbyGal says:

OMG, move over Seal and Heidi, I may have a new favorite celebrity couple/family. Jerry O’Connell is such a precious doof, lookit him. <3

  38. Beth says:

@Kim haters have always been hypocritical. If the ad was with Suri or the Jolie-Pitts all of the comments would say mediawhore, exploitation, etc not how cute the kids are. I don’t get how they have no problem with 99% of celebrities but go psycho when the Cruises/Jolie-Pitts do the same thing.

  39. jayem says:

Okay, can people seriously stop referring to pictures as “pimping out your baby”. It’s really annoying. It’s not like never in the history of mankind has a proud parent showed off their (ADORABLE!!!) babies. It’s not a crime. It’s cute. People like babies. The end.

I’m surprised you haven’t boycotted Anne Geddes for all the innocent random babies she’s been “pimping out” over the years…

    /rant

  40. Tru says:

I want to try rice milk soon but until then I just stay on my organic lowfat route.

    anyhoo, gorgeous lil snookies!!

I just don’t wnt to see them soon wearing high heels and no coat in the winter. I don’t think their mom will stand for thme picking their own clothes
    no matter what the weather.

  41. velcrodots says:

I don’t even like babies, but those kids are cuter than a basket full of kittens sitting in a meadow

  42. Mirdeb says:

    Totally sweeeeeeeet!!

  43. Firestarter says:

@Jayem- I don’t boycott Anne Geddes because she has been pimping out babies, I boycott Anne Gedded because I hate her work. There I said it, I hate those Anne Geddes babies as heads of cabbage photos and other things.

@Velcrodots- NOTHING is cuter than a basket of kittens, nothing, nothing! *looks at new kitten on bed*

IMO, kittens will always be cuter than babies!

    *finishes knitting sweaters for cats*

  44. orion70 says:

Is it just me, or do the two of them (not the babies), look incredibly uncomfortable?

  45. WTF?!? says:

I have a new kitten, too, Firestarter! Aren’t they the cutest things EVER?!?!

  46. Really says:

Those babies are so adorable!! Thank God- because their parents screwed them on names.

Almost makes me want to get knocked up, but 9 months of no drinking is not likely…

  47. jen says:

@ Tru – I’ve been on rice milk for a while now (I have Hashimoto’s disease & am not supposed to drink/eat soy products, hence the rice milk.) The ONLY time I notice a difference is in my sugary sweet cereals. I eat Kashi & Cheerios for the most part & I don’t notice a difference then, but when I treat myself to a nice sugary (read: DELICIOUS LOL) cereal, like Lucky Charms…GROSS. Doesn’t work. But it’s just as good as regular milk in my lattes, other cereals, etc. Highly recommend it. Almond milk is pretty good too, but higher in fat. Whatever works for you 🙂

@ Beth – Amen. Double standards everywhere 😉

  48. lanette says:

    ADORABLE!

  49. Dirty Martini says:

This is so incredibly effing adorable……..it almost made me forget I actually liked her with John Stamos.

Nothing against J OC, I just never could see them together………..J OC and Renee Z–YEP.

SHe and Stamos just screamed SEX together. NOnetheless,

these are the 2 cutest twins EVAH. Take that , SJP

  50. Wresa says:

“I don’t boycott Anne Geddes because she has been pimping out babies, I boycott Anne Gedded because I hate her work. There I said it, I hate those Anne Geddes babies as heads of cabbage photos and other things.”

Ahaha Thank you, I hate those photos so much and I can’t explain why. Cute babies work in Got Milk? ads, but not Anne Geddes photos!

  51. hatsumomo says:

I dunno Iggles. In response to post #30 my mother is lactose intolerant, but her four children, me , my sisters and brother, are not. Its perfectly delicious to me.

And congratulations Firestarter, if you have a new baby! ( I consider my cats to be my babies, I assuming you do too.)

  52. Camille says:

I’m with Kim and Beth on this one. Couldn’t agree with you both more. Cute enough kids though.

  53. Tru says:

@Jen, thanks-I have heard good things about it–I can’t do soy–it makes me feel horrible..

Well, I’ll not add it to my capt crunch
(for my bad treat) and just add it my grapenuts or flax seed cereal.

  54. nj says:

Those are some happy babies. That’s one thing you just can’t fake- a happy baby.

  55. sickofit says:

For years i have been drinking organic milk and it tastes so much better than the “normal” milk. and i am lactose intolerant, to solve this problem i add probiotics to my daily routine, no problems ever since. i cant have soy or rice milk does not work for me.
i love the campaign though with rebecca and her kids. they just look real and healthy and happy. nothings wrong with that one.

  56. stinabelle says:

Aw, those are the cutest babies ever! Also, on every single milk gallon I’ve ever gotten, even at the regular grocery stores, the label says no antibiotics used, but also that there’s no evidence to show that not using them makes a difference.

  57. Firestarter says:

@WTF!- Yes!!!!!!!! I love cats, obviously, but kittens are just the bomb! I love watching her play and try to “beat” on my adult cats, who are all over 10 lbs, and she is a mini monster! Soooo cute!

    Congrats on your new “baby”!

  58. jayem says:

@Firestarter – LOL! that is a legitimate reason. You’ll get no argument from me. I just get super annoyed at the people who accuse celebrities of “pimping out their kids” just because they allowed a magazine to take pictures. If my future kids are that stinkin’ cute, I’ll have their pictures plastered all over the place.

  59. Firestarter says:

@jayem- I totally understand what you mean tho. I don’t care if celebs pimp out their kids. Like you said, if they are cute, more power to them.

  60. Sally says:

Ok, first of all, the condition of lactose intolerance is not that common. What is more prevalent is lactose maldigestion, which differs in severity. While it is true a large proportion of humans do suffer from lactose maldigestion (as opposed to other illnesses that cause lactose intolerance/maldigestion), a great deal of them do not suffer it severely to cause too much trouble.

If you are not a severe sufferer, a way to consume dairy but not suffer ill effects is to eat yoghurt, where the majority of the lactose is already broken down. Another option is low-carb milk, where a lot of the lactose is filtered out. However, everyone is different – but these two methods have been shown to work.

In terms of cramped conditions, hormones being fed to cows, etc, it does depend on where in the world you live, and indeed what part of your country you live in.

As for pasteurisation and homogenisation – there are differing opinions on the safety and validity of both processes. Currently, it is generally accepted (and has been proven) that these procedures are safe. But everyone has to make up their own minds.
