Honestly, I thought it was all well-played and it didn’t hurt anyone (other than Gigi Paris). Sydney Sweeney is adding fuel to breakup rumors after the actress deleted a photo of her kissing fiancé Jonathan Davino. Fans have been speculating about the relationship status of the Euphoria star, 27, and the film producer, 41, in recent days after outlets reported Sweeney was seemingly living without Davino at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Many also noticed a picture of the couple kissing ahead of the New Year was removed from an Instagram carousel she shared. The photo showed Davino bending over to kiss Sweeney while friends partied behind them. The picture’s removal was first reported by DeuxMoi.
“The last few days of 2024 will forever be some of my favorite,” she had captioned the roundup.
Sweeney’s reps did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Sweeney and Davino sparked romance rumors in 2018 and got engaged in 2022.
“Sparked romance rumors in 2018” when she was 20 years old and he was in his 30s. The age gap is one of the reasons why Sydney’s fans have never liked Davino or this relationship, but seven years together is nothing to scoff at and, obviously, he seems willing to do what it takes to stay with Sydney. That being said, my reaction to this was: oh, I bet she’s promoting something. Let me look it up…she’s got a bunch of projects in post-production, but she doesn’t have any film or TV show coming out in the next month or so. So maybe this is legit?
