When Prince William is king, he wants Prince Andrew ‘to vanish from public view’

Prince William has been on a major campaign in recent months. That campaign? “These are all of the things William will do when he’s king!” It’s a short list, to be fair – William has a childlike understanding of what it means to be king, and he’s also absorbed with his own jealousies and pettiness. So William’s to-do list as king includes: not inviting his brother to his coronation, taking away Harry & Meghan’s titles, telling everyone that he’s a global statesman, doing the school run and using his kids as an excuse for why he can’t do more, and yammering about “social impact.” There’s apparently one more item on William’s to-do list: toss Prince Andrew out on the street!

If there is one person Prince Andrew should be worried about, it is his nephew, the future king. Royal experts told Fox News Digital that when Prince William takes over the throne one day, he reportedly will swiftly address “the Andrew problem” that has plagued the British royal family.

“Prince William has long had a strained and distant relationship with Andrew,” British royal expert Hilary Fordwich claimed to Fox News Digital, noting that the Prince of Wales holds “a grudge against his disgraced uncle.”

“Andrew’s future within the royal family is beyond bleak, since Prince William is firmly opposed to any public rehabilitation with no foreseeable path back,” Fordwich claimed. “He wants Andrew to vanish from public view.”

Fordwich’s claims came shortly after longtime BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told Closer Weekly that the father of three is not interested in wasting time on the Duke of York following his sex scandal.

“William has been a strong voice in managing ‘the Andrew problem’ — he is adamant that there is no way back for his uncle,” Bond told the outlet.

“William’s strong stance on ‘the Andrew problem’ is consistent, unwavering and his influence has been decisive in ensuring Andrew remains sidelined,” said Fordwich. “He is driven by his desire… to protect the monarchy’s reputation, doing all he can to safeguard its future.”

“[William is] very in touch with the public,” Fordwich shared. “Every public opinion poll has Andrew at the bottom, reinforcing Prince William’s stance. Once king, no doubt, Prince William will ensure Andrew is completely excluded from royal life, as well as all public appearances.”

[From Fox News]

Andrew is largely out of public view already, for what it’s worth. The only time Andrew is even allowed to join the Windsors in public is for Christian holidays – Christmas and Easter. And he skipped Christmas at Sandringham last year. So what is William promising to do as king? Refuse to allow Andrew to come to church on Easter and Christmas? Probably. But I wonder if this is mostly about Royal Lodge – apparently, William has long had his eye on Andrew’s home in Windsor. Although in this scenario, William is king, so he would have all of those palaces and castles to choose from.

  1. Tessa says:

Peg has no strong voice about Andrew. Andrew was walking along with William and his wife and children to church and another time William was driving Andrew in his car. Andrew knows too much so peg will leave him alone

    • KoRAR says:

      @Tessa
I thought the same thing. The vengeful William is making plans for revenge, and he seems to forget that the sword of truth is hanging over him, which could cut him down to the ground.

I will remind you of the words of the journalist – “I can’t wait to finally write the truth about William. Yours eyes will bleed.”

      • Belinda says:

@korar – Wow! Which journalist said this, it would be very interesting to see what else they have written!

Why oh why don’t the journalists form a group, and support the one journalist who spills the beans? They must all know the truth about Bulliam, surely?

With all the journos support, one could break ranks, knowing that all the others have their back, financially and also by refusing to comply with any KP takedown that they would attempt on the journalist who broke this.

        Please let it happen soon!

      • KoRAR says:

        @Belinda
I don’t remember his name, but it was given. His statement quickly disappeared from the internet, as did many articles that wrote about it. But maybe someone here remembers his name.

I think the problem is not who will finally write it, but who will print it, and it’s not even about the trials, because journalists certainly have some evidence, but we are still in the stage of sugarcoating William and the worse things weigh on him, the deeper they are buried and the more they will attack Sussex.

These must be exceptionally serious allegations, because neither betrayal nor sexual perversions make your eyes bleed, because we have that every day. It’s scary to think what could be so terrible.

      • Becks1 says:

There was a journalist who made the specific eye bleeding statement and then another one tweeted something like “god I can’t wait until we can report freely on William” – that one was with the Financial Times if I remember correctly and was stationed in China, so whatever is out there about William, its far reaching beyond just the royal beat.

but this is where William should be careful bc Andrew is going to most likely know what those reporters know and may choose to spill it to protect his status and his family.

      • Me at home says:

Wow! I assume there’s no indication when this longed-for day will come? Is it after William is firmly on the throne?

    • I agree that the pedo knows where all the bodies are buried and if the king man child comes for him the secrets will be yelled out loud. The man child king has many demands that he wants implemented and people in hell want ice water. Let’s see what he gets.

  2. Maxine Branch says:

This dumb man should be careful what he wishes for. Those courtiers and tabloids are going to have him running in circles because of the dirty secrets of his they have hidden for years. He is not his own man now, I pity him if and when he ascends to the throne, he will indeed be truly trapped and miserable.

    • Christine says:

I used to believe that, but I’ve sort of given up. It appears that all of them prefer their non-existent “access” to the Wales to telling the truth. It’s baffling, because William and Kate offer them nothing.

      • KoRAR says:

        @Christine
We have no idea what these terrible deeds are, that they are bloody, but their knowledge by so many, will mean that William will never be independent, but will always live in fear, will be on someone’s string, will always be subjected to pressure for political, personal support, for profit, position, citizenship, etc. There will no longer be a need for bags of cash, just the awareness that the deeds may be revealed. This is a far-fetched situation.

Journalists and media, also from other countries, are aware that revealing these “terrible deeds” will be tantamount to overthrowing his throne. No one wants to take such responsibility, but you never know what can happen…
William will always live in fear.

      • Christine says:

I mean, sure. I have no idea what these terrible deeds are. I do know for sure the British media is not going to deliver any breaking news, they are still covering for all of the lazies, and no one else seems up to the challenge after Omid Scobie left the U.K.

    • Chrissy says:

Just imagine if Harry were still in the UK right now! He would be the one having to absorb all of Little Willie’s rages, deflections and BS as his “Liege man” AKA scapegoat. Thank God Harry and Meghan had the foresight to look into the future, got their ducks in a row and left that hellhole life with their safety, sanity and family intact!

      • Gtwiecz says:

I want to suspect Harry has a few friends left in the UK who may have heard what happened in December of 2023, and if so, Harry could also spill the beans. They continue attacking his wife on a daily basis. Harry might know about Rose too, but has kept quiet about it. Maybe William needs to be more careful about he plans to do to H&M.

  3. Jais says:

Yeah, what more can he do? Not invite him to the few events he attends. Will he fail to invite Andrew to the coronation? Will he strip Andrew of his titles? Please. Do it, William. And then maybe Andrew will start leaking what he knows about William.

    • Gtwiecz says:

Beatrice and Eugenie were all smiles at that rainy garden party last year with William, so who knows if Andrew has that much leverage.

  4. Tessa says:

Those rigged polls mean nothing if William does not know it is more than popularity polls for Andrew. The f b i wants to talk to Andrew. And was about Andrews behavior and his association with criminals.

    • DianeS says:

Don’t count on the FBI to pursue Andrew, who could easily point the finger at a certain Dear Leader. This whole Epstein thing will quietly die.

      • sunnyside up says:

        Exactly.

      • KoRAR says:

        @DianeS
Andrew was friends with Epstein for almost 30 years. During that time, Epstein and his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell spent time with the royals. There are photos of them at Elizabeth’s holiday home, posing on the same bench that Elizabeth posed for the photo.

It is clear that Epstein and Maxwell were at home in this company over the years (as was the paedophile and pervert Jimmy Savile), which is why I do not believe that Andrew was the only person who benefited from Epstein’s “benefits” and that is why they will always cover for him, and hard.

  5. Eurydice says:

Lol, I look forward to Andrew’s tell-all book.

    • 2131Jan says:

I think I’ve seen too many crime dramas because I’m pretty sure that Pedo has a “stash” of papers with a lawyer and/or in a safe deposit box somewhere that states, “To Be Opened In Case of (Suspicious) Death, (or if my kids are not allowed to nuzzle on the public teat as part time royals)” . Y’know… just for some reassurance. lol

    • Me at home says:

Wasn’t there a news item very recently that Andrew was sniffing around Harry’s publishers or ghost writer?

    • TigerMcQueen says:

      This right here.

Which, of course, is why this is all bluster. Bill won’t do anything about Andrew except what the RF is already doing, ie, keeping him out of the public eye except for some holidays.

  6. Blogger says:

“ William is] very in touch with the public”

    😂😂😂😂😂😂

So the strategy for Willy is when he ascends he’ll banish all these people.

But what happens after that? I mean there’s only a limited amount of people he can banish before people start asking when he’s going to do more work.

    Henry 8 vibes.

  7. ❤️❤️❤️❤️SCAR says:

He’ll be a just king, He’ll be magnanimous, king. OK..,…..UK media is lying again. Just like when they lied and claimed Camilla will never be called Queen. They are propagandist for the Royal family. Telling the public what they think they want to hear at the time. Only to gently, gently, work at rehabilitating Andrew to the point of either he is the favorite uncle and best counselor to William or ‘of course he should fly out to China/Zimbabwe/or wherever, as he is the most bestiest soft business power the UK people ever had.’

  8. Connie says:

Is it me “William is all talk and no action.

  9. Lili says:

After last weeks news about Eugenie doing something with the Kings trust. it got me thinking She had a chance to escape when Harry did, but she stuck around, that made me think these kids are sucking up to both Charles and Wllie in order to protect their Dad. so if I were them if he does anything to my Dad when he (Willie ) is king i would withdraw all my support and get on with my life. Andrew should have got himself situated admist all this scandal rather than begging for crumbs from his brother’s table. he may have leverage with his Brother but he should know his nephew better than we know him

    • Scooby Gang says:

@Lili – I was thinking the same type of thing. If W were to do anything to Andrew (sideline him, threaten him, cut funding, etc.)… will E & B show their loyalty to their dad by walking and refusing to support W or do any work on his behalf?

If the older generation becomes unable to wave, cut ribbons and shovel dirt… and Andrew, E & B refuse to do any lifting… then what?

King-royal-with-a-small-r could be in for a bumpy ride.

    • onemore says:

Agreed – I definitely think Eugenie is only sticking around and attending these events because she knows her dad is so dependent on the grace of whoever is king. She’ll play the game for him, but I think whenever Andrew dies, she’ll peace out and we won’t see her at that many royal events. Beatrice will probably stick around for some, but I don’t think Eugenie or Jack have any interest.

    • Jais says:

So even if William somehow demotes Andrew even further, which what could he really do unless he went big and evicted him or actually did take his titles, I still don’t really see Eugenie or Beatrice going against William. Bc wouldn’t that have the tabloids targeting them and their families? At best, they might conveniently be out of town any time William needed a favor.

      • sunnyside up says:

He could only really take the DOY title.

      • Tessa says:

He would probably want the DOY title for Louis.

      • Christine says:

I think he wants Duke of Edinburgh for Louis, which is why it was only given to Edward for his lifetime. These people love any tie to Elizabeth II and Philip.

      • Becks1 says:

@Christine I think you’re right but its funny to me bc Louis could be married in 20 years or even less depending and Edward could live another 20-25 years or longer.

    • windyriver says:

Eugenie may be more visible of late on behalf of her father, but I still think Beatrice, and particularly her husband, really would like a larger role. Beatrice has at least been a counsellor of state since QEII died, though for now, particularly with the appointments of Anne and Edward, she would never be called upon (at least by Charles).

      • Tessa says:

Edo would be equivalent to Tim Laurence, who accompanies his royal wife on tours and appearances on occasion. But Anne does many solo appearances. . I don’t think Edo can ask for a “larger role.” Supposedly he is very wealthy and works outside the family. Edo is a married in and doubtful he would be a “working royal” If Edo wants the “larger” role then Jack would have to get one too. I don’t think the family will “go there.”

      • windyriver says:

Depends which “family” you’re talking about. Charles won’t, but we don’t know that Will feels the same way about shutting out his cousins. Will’s priority is working as little as possible, and at some point soon the RF will run out of bodies to handle routine appearances on his behalf. Also, I meant IMO Edo would like a larger role for Beatrice, as he’s usually seen with her at public events. Unlike Tim Laurence, he seems to enjoy those appearances; he’s an attractive guy, they make a nice looking couple, and they add some much needed younger blood in the interim while the Wales children are still too young (hopefully) to take formal roles.

Also, from comments here the last few years, I’m not sure how truly wealthy Edo is – but in any event, no doubt his royal connection enhances whatever business interests he has.

      • Tessa says:

Edo is still a married in. Not a royal and has no title. He can enjoy the outings escorting Bea but it is doubtful he will be called a “working royal”. Supposedly he has a career. What Edo wants Edo may not get. The tabs like Hello talk about how he is “rich.”

    • Me at home says:

Wasn’t Eugenie splitting her time with Jack and the kids in Portugal? So she had escaped, at least partially. But I just googled this, and there are some items about how she wants to return to the UK full-time.

  10. Amy Bee says:

I don’t believe William has any problem with Andrew. He just the public to think he’s opposed to him.

  11. aquarius64 says:

William 5 won’t do anything to Andrew because Andy may know what William and Kate did to the Sussexes and probably Jason Knauf’s role with the Markles. Andrew and Fergie will be permanant residents of Royal Lodge in the forseeable future.

    • windyriver says:

Will’s involvement around the Sussexes is probably the least of what Andrew knows overall regarding Will (and Kate), and could potentially spill. And considering how much we’ve heard lately about how Will is going to strip Sussex titles, not invite them to his coronation, etc., that Will and Kate were deeply involved in their leaving isn’t much of a secret. Likewise what is known about Knauf’s role after what he did regarding Meghan’s court case.

    • Me at home says:

@Tessa, is some reliable source saying Knauf has “connections” to the Sentebale mess? I absolutely wouldn’t be surprised. It just needs someone with proof.

  12. Jan says:

Finally Cain realizes that he can’t control the Sussexes, so who is he going to vent his wrath on?
Just maybe, he should get therapy for his many problems.

  13. sevenblue says:

lol. We got the same talking points with Charles. Once he is King, he is gonna punish Andrew, etc. It is all lies. If Will had a problem with Andrew, he would make him go away a long time ago just like how he got rid of H&M. Nobody would force Will to give a ride to Andrew if Will didn’t want to do it. The talking point at the time was how Will is showing to H&M he is still cool with Andrew, because he didn’t sell them out. Andrew threatened them with a book already. He knows all the dirty laundry and he has also allies inside british media to do his dirty work. There is no way he is gonna get rid of him and I don’t think he even cares to.

  14. GMH says:

Hummm… an agenda of retribution when I get the job. No wonder Egg and President Cheeto have hit it off.

  15. Libra says:

Andrew will write a burn it to the ground tell all. He is a proud, arrogant man who values his status and titles and his “don’t you know who I am” persona. He is the favorite son of a Queen and you best not forget it. William needs to tread lightly, just as Charles is doing. An angry, humiliated Andrew is dangerous.

    • wendy says:

Unless William really does have no interest in being King — let’s say he is crowned and boots Andrew — what does a nasty tell all really do? Disgraced King has the title, the access to the cash and all the jewelry. He gets to file for divorce, dissolve the Monarchy and disappear with his ill-gotten gains to an island in the South Pacific?

      • somebody says:

Access to most of the assets isn’t ownership. It wouldn’t be that simple for Will. He would also have to start paying taxes on the parts he did retain ownership of. I bet he is laying by money now from the duchy though in off-shore accounts. Maybe why Kate’s budget is less for clothes.

      • Libra says:

@somebody; when he became POW and inherited the duc hy money, the budget visibly tightened, as in Kate’s clothes. He is stashing away “get out Of town” money, I agree.

  16. Lady Digby says:

Isn’t Billy also planning to vanish from public views for months at a time when he becomes King? He’s been on a briefing spree about prioritising his family and private down time AGAIN! Sorry but when isn’t he yawning and waving work away for pathetic and unbelievable reasons? So being King is definitely not going to come between him and his private life of endless indulgence, tell us something we don’t already know?!

  17. LAR says:

Why doesn’t William just follow long family history and make Andrew vanish into the Tower of London? I would support that enthusiastically.

    • ABritGuest says:

Because William like Charles doesn’t actually have an issue with Andrew. He made sure to take a plane ride with him to the queens bedside whilst leaving Harry behind & was driving with Andrew to Balmoral last year. This is just bluster same with all the punishment talk that Charles does whilst continuing to financially support & provide cover for Andrew. Their only venom is for Harry and Meghan

William will probably still cover Andrew ‘s bills too when he is king

  18. QuiteContrary says:

If William has any issue with Andrew, it’s about the PR stakes. It’s not about what Andrew actually did.

Most of us — because we’re not sociopaths — are horrified by Andrew’s sexual assault of a minor facilitated by a famous pedophile. The Windsors don’t see Andrew’s conduct as reprehensible. Just inconvenient.

  19. BeanieBean says:

It read to me as though William will do whatever the latest polls makes him think he should do. As in, he’s easily influenced, doesn’t do any real thinking or analysis of his own. What will make me popular? 🤢

  20. Tn Democrat says:

Willy is sharpening sticks aching for his dad to hurry up and pass so he can be king and get revenge for every real and imagined slight. Everyone in his orbit knows what a petulant child he is and know what to expect from him. Half a dozen tellalls have probably been started already. Camilla has always been thinking ahead and has deep connections in the media that has shown Willy kid gloves for nearly a decade. She made Willy and Harry associate with her cokehead son and daughter (who both are much older) during the wild Club H years after Diana died. Camilla would gleefully engulf him in a paparazzi nightmare by dropping tidbits from his drunken youth and current state of his marriage/what really is going on with Keener. Willy doesn’t have the spine to live though a media firestorm like he has forced on his brother. Can you imagine the tellall she could write? Andrew would not hesitate to burn the monarchy to the ground if his comfortable existence is threatened and certainly has dirt on both Willy and Charles. Charles was always deeply jealous of Andrew and would have fed him to the wolves himself if he had that option. Harry showed restraint in Spare out of respect to his dad and grandparents. Harry could reveal a lot more than he has already. The continued media smear campaign Willy is leading gives him incentive to go after Willy when Charles leaves this mortal coil. It is going to be knives out.

  21. therese says:

Should one be disgusted by Andrew? Yes, of course. And that has been shown in part already. But William is using his uncle to expostulate about what all he is going to do when his daddy dies, also disgusting, to distance himself from any taint that might be lingering from Andrew’s actions. I’m going to do this, I’m going to do that. Not a thing about what he is going to do within himself to better himself, to gain strength in order to do for others. Willie is not self-aware, no self-reflection about bettering himself. All his proclamations are about what he will do to other people. Maybe he thinks that distancing himself from Andrew, and reinforcing his hatred for Harry (as though Harry did something wrong) will regain or generate popularity for himself. Huh. People just don’t like him. Because of his own actions. If he quits pointing his finger outward and cleans up his own backyard, maybe people would give him some begrudging respect. I won’t. I would have to see a change of heart to believe it. I’ve always said Kate is really stupid. Billie didn’t marry down in that respect. He married his equal.

  22. martha says:

I doubt William will do anything different from Charles. He needs Beatrice and Eugenie.
