    Very helpful guide.

  2. Anne Maria says:

I’m Irish and Scottish by background. Is it disrespecting my culture if I’m called out for playing bagpipes during the concert? People are there to hear the star, not listen to members of the audience.

  3. Mightymolly says:

Sam Levinson clearly despises what Sydney represents and he’s going all in on mocking her. She’s now a vapid republican housewife (to be) whose plan for having the wedding of her dreams is earning on OF. C’mon. The show literally says “she’s living in a republican suburb” before cutting to her dressed as a dog humping a dog house. I am surprised she agreed to this mockery but it’s friggin on point.

Eugenics Barbie has claimed in the past that she has participated in writing/molding scenes for her character. She wasn’t doing this because the nepo baby made her. She knows what weirdos magats are and is deliberately appealing to her core audience. She is a terrible actress and has to do shocking @#$% to stay relevant, especially while co-starring on a show with a generational talent like Zendaya. No spoilers, but Zendaya ran circles around her in that episode and SS wouldn’t have been mentioned if she hadn’t went low. Also. Matt Bomer is a doll. More Matt Bomer content please.

  4. otaku fairy says:

She handled it well. Hopefully people will move on and not catastrophize or exploit the issue for misogynistic purposes, as has been done with female celebrities in the past.

  5. Neeve says:

No apologies needed at all. There is a time and place, nothing but attention seeking from the concert goer. And just because its your culture doesnt mean she has to like or accept it.

  6. Auntie Fah says:

SC didn’t handle that well at all. She came off snotty and derisive. There was no need for the disdain she projected. Maybe not the time and place for the cheer, but her reaction exposes her as the entitled little tw*t she is.

  7. Jamie42 says:

What SC should have done was simply ignore the “fan” rather than engage with her.

  8. Tis True, Tis True says:

Sorry, if you go to a concert and do something loud and distracting enough for the musicians on stage to stop and go WTF, you are not behaving properly at a concert. IDGAF about your culture.

I hope musicians from this obnoxious person’s culture weigh in. Would they appreciate whoops and yee-haws at one of their performances.

    • Tuesday says:

It’s Coachella. Fans were clapping and cheering. It wasn’t in the middle of a song, or of anyone speaking. People make noise at concerts. Sabrina then made a snide remark about this not being “burning man (i.e. low rent)” and told her it was weird.

People act like she was heckling the star. She was cheering like everyone else but instead of saying WOOOOOOOOOOO! She made a trill sound for 2 seconds.

      • PPP says:

It was literally as she was about to start a ballad. She also has a click track in her ear, so what she was hearing is different than what we saw on video. It may well have been screwing with the click track.

  9. paintybox says:

Zahreet are trills of approval and encouragement that are common in many music cultures and they are meant as a compliment. People should just go take a belly dance class and chill out and learn something instead of clutching their pearls and acting like everything is an invasion of very bad people or whatever the Orange Menace would have you believe.

    • PPP says:

Well, she did literally say she learned and permitted it from now on. And she informed her gigantic audience about it as well.

  10. Veronica S. says:

Okay, so mistaking somebody’s cultural chant for attention-seeking is a little unintentionally thoughtless (let the crowd sort things out if it’s found to be annoying), but the Islamaphobia accusations are a bit of a stretch to me. How would she possibly know this woman was Muslim? Unless the implication is that she should’ve seen the woman had Middle Eastern/North African heritage and therefore MUST be Muslim? Isn’t that, you know…kind of racist to assume lmao?

    • Haia says:

Yes, also Christians and Jews in the Middle East also do the same cheer. It’s not religion specific, more area specific.

  11. Monc says:

Wow… unfortunate on her part…. She should read more about the places she goes to…
