NN: Duchess Meghan’s OneOff profile is promoting outfits she wore to Invictus events!

In April, during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s “royal tour” of Australia, Meghan announced that she had invested in the fashion platform OneOff, and she was receiving commissions from “recommending” the clothing she wears. Her OneOff was a huge hit right from the start, especially as she highlighted so many Australian brands, brands which saw huge spikes in interest and sales. The deranged community has been absolutely FURIOUS about all of this and they’ve thrown everything they can at Meghan and OneOff. Royal reporters even had palace officials bitching and moaning about “how dare Meghan invest in a fashion platform and promote what she wore for charitable visits!” Good thing Meghan doesn’t need palace approval for literally anything. But wait, someone has a new attack line! Did you know that Meghan has added older looks to her OneOff profile? She added IDs on various outfits she wore at the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada, as well as some photos and fashion IDs from the Dusseldorf Invictus Games in 2023. NewsNation is currently clutching their pearls over it because, you see, Meghan is profiting from veterans!! You guys…

Speaking of not following the rules, The Duchess of Sussex is actually merchandising outfits she wore at several Invictus Games on her site OneOff — with zero dollars going to her husband’s charity.

The week that her husband Prince Harry was named to the TIME 100 Most Influential People in Sports list (as a “Leader”), eagle-eyed observers were shocked that the shopping site she invested in, OneOff, had started backdating her outfits to buy … including ones she wore to Invictus Canada and Invictus Düsseldorf in 2023. The same games where veteran Scott Snow was injured — and uninsured. And while Snow can’t pay for his physical therapy after surgeries for his broken neck incurred at Düsseldorf, Markle is earning 10-25% on outfits that range from $9,000 to $20,000.

“It’s insane that she and Harry claim to be charitable but aren’t giving a percentage of what she makes from outfits she wore at a charity event to either that charity or the man injured at an event held by the charity,” my insider said.

One Canadian fumed after seeing Markle merching Invictus outfits: “Let me get this straight: It’s a charity function, sponsored by the taxpayers of Canada and other donors for war veterans, and Megan is making a dollar on the back of those veterans. Is that money being donated back to Veterans? That would be right. I mean, Harry is promoting it and they are paying for her to go and it’s only have these popular events that she is merchandising the clothes so she needs the event to merchandise of clothes. Her husband is actively promoting a charity (Invictus) where she is profiting!”

One can only wonder what will happen at Invictus Birmingham or whether she will ever hang out with any member of the royal family again.

One royal insider said, “They literally can not be seen with someone who will sell what they’re wearing when meeting them, as it will look like they are helping use the monarchy to move merchandise.” Reps for Meghan didn’t return emails.

[From NewsNation]

First the royal insiders had issues with Meghan putting her Karen Gee dress – the one she wore at the Melbourne hospital – on OneOff because how dare she profit from a royal visit to a hospital, amirite? Now it’s “how dare she profit from private appearances at her husband’s event, where she wore clothes which she bought herself.” Bless them for trying out all of these attack lines, but the fact that they haven’t made anything stick speaks volumes.

Anyway, I’m covering this because this talking point is about to be parroted for the next year or longer. For years, the deranged community has falsely claimed that Invictus was picking up the tab for all of Meghan’s clothes, and that she was billing Invictus donors personally for her lavish wardrobe! And now the argument is…sure, she paid for her own clothes, but she can’t profit from recommending her looks to other people, especially when she’s appearing at the Invictus Games as the spouse of the founder?? The mental gymnastics are just as dumb as they are racist. Personally, I think the bulk of the outrage over OneOff and ShopMy before it is the simple fact that the Meghan Effect is real and Meghan has always been able to move product, and none of the left-behinds can do that. The British media is also mad that Meghan is cutting them out – they want to be able to run sponsored posts about “buy Meghan’s look here” too.

Sure, they hate her, but in the end, it is about the money! This: “Meghan is cutting them out – they want to be able to run sponsored posts about “buy Meghan’s look here” too”.

So this is the narrative. Anything that is even slightly associated with the charitable event they’re going to try to frame it as being wrong for her to earn money from it. Even though if I like something that she wore at a charitable event and still bought it instead of donating to that charity, presumably through links on their own articles that wouldn’t be bad?

So the only way that she should be able to post to this website is if she is at a farmers market, or courtside, or on the beach? I do think that they’re upset that her investing here means that people will go directly to this site, rather than using their links. Especially since that is a money maker for them. I think the bigger thing though, is that they don’t want them to be financially secure.

They have a problem with, and find fault with literally every way that they make money. Harry shouldn’t be allowed to be Chief Impact Officer, because what experience does he have? Harry shouldn’t be allowed to write books about his own life experiences because he’ll have to talk about others. Meghan and Harry shouldn’t be allowed to produce Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV documentaries or shows because they don’t have any experience as producers. Meghan shouldn’t be allowed to sell jam, wine, tea because she’s not making it in her kitchen herself and delivering it in a basket like Little Red Riding Hood.

Financial stability means no control. Also, I’m sure there’s a ton of jealousy there.

If Meghan is not in Birmingham these people will be crying that she doesn’t care about the veterans so they can shut up about this. Last week they were saying that Meghan was running out of money but they want to dictate how she should make money. GTFOH. Kaiser is right, the British press are upset about Oneoff because Meghan is undermining their affiliate links racket.

    • Cathy says:

Wah wah! Meghan is preventing my kids from getting a private school education because she’s supplying her own links! Wah wah! I can’t go out to a new restaurant every night of the week, I’ll starve because Meghan is stopping people from following MY links so they can buy the clothes! Wah Wah… keeps crying in DM while looking through the Oneoff site

  4. Lady Esther says:

I still crave that green strapless dress… she looked absolutely stunning, styled perfectly. One of her best looks

  5. Mel says:

    Cry HARDER!!!!!!

  6. Shiela Kerr says:

we love smart women. get your bag Meghan, everyone else is profiting of your name alone.

  7. IdlesAtCranky says:

Unless and until links to donate to Invictus, AND ONLY THOSE LINKS, are published in every RR and palace-briefed article that mentions Meghan’s clothing, the Rats can sit the hell down and shut the hell up.

    Next?

  8. Truthiness says:

All that copykeening had one thing right, Meghan has great style. Hell yeah to earning commisions, she’s been in the private sphere for years now.

  9. MsKrisTalk says:

They’re upset because she put an end to their ability to make money off of her. Now, I wish that her legal team would put an end to the crazy anti-Harry and Meghan “influencers” making up whack-a-do lies and spreading them on the internet.
