I hate to talk smack about Kylie Minogue because she’s a lovely human being and a cancer survivor. In fact I went back and forth on whether to report on this and Kaiser finally convinced me it would be ok. She wrote “It’s not like we made her get a facelift, you know?” Kylie went to an event last week and she just looks so cat-like. She’s looked like this for years, but I never remember her being so utterly smooth and alien. It’s sad when beautiful women jack up their faces.
So what is this? Is this too much Botox? I think it’s a face lift from several years ago in conjunction with Botox, but I’m by no means an expert. Kylie is just 42 years old!
I looked up some older photos to compare, and it’s hard to see when she may have had (more) work done, if it was recently, as she always wears sunglasses when she’s out. Kylie was looking pulled just as tightly at Fashion week in early March, though. (Those photos are with the nude-colored top.) She looked like she could move her face more in February, although she’s had that oddly arched right eyebrow for as long as I can remember. (February pictures are with the black and red outfits.)
In fact I had to go all the way back to 1997 to find a picture of Kylie without those unnaturally high eyebrows. A photo from 2004 (sea green dress below) shows her with the same odd face. So I’m voting for a facelift or eye lift over five years ago, plus way too much Botox. It’s a shame and I hope she sees what it’s done and lays off the stuff for a while.

It’s work, but also angle. In the 97 photo it’s head on or even a little from below, in the 2010 photo it’s from slightly above. Adds to the strage-ness. Don’t bag too hard peeps, she deserves a break!
Also, that eyebrow has always reached for the sky hearder than the other.

I admit, I didn’t pay a whole lot of attention to her between the “Locomotion,” phase and the return from cancer bald cover photo stage, but that’s when I noticed the eyebrow thing going on (and NO, I’m not saying it has anything to do with ragging on her about the cancer, I’m saying it was a weird thing with the eyebrow!).
No one has a smoother, more unlined forehead thirteen years later. That’s Botox, baby. Her eyes are a little more catlike, although whether it’s makeup, the angle or work, it’s hard to say. With the eyebrow, it looks like a subtle lift to me.
Her sister Danii has the same thing going on. I saw her on a Gordon Ramsay show the other night and she seemed unrecognizable (but then, she’s always sort of unrecognizable to me, lol).
Hate to hate on you celebitchy – because I’m an avid reader and a big fan but wtf? I think if women choose to alter their bodies, we can; because its our choice.
Further, I’m tired of all the belittling. I think Kyle looks amazing in this picture; if she didn’t have plastic surgery tabloids would say, “Damn, she looks old.” Instead tabloids say, “Damn she looks plastic.” It’s a lose-lose for women.
I’m not alright with that. Anyway – still a fan. 🙂
Of course it’s her “choice” to alter her body/face, just as it’s our choice to say she looked prettier and healthier before she mangled her face.
Now that I’m looking at the photos, I think she just had an eye job, not a full facelift though.
I think she looks pretty. A little tight but not too bad.
Her eyebrows are a little jacked but I think her “eyebrow person” and make-up artist may be responsible for that. They aren’t even…even.
I think she has had microdermabrasion and Botox. The microdermabrasion would have evened-out her skin tone and the Botox would have removed any lines (especially the “mad” lines between her eyebrows) and in the earlier photo, she’s wearing false lashes which give an entirely different look to everyone and in the older photo, she doesn’t appear to be wearing much make-up.
I don’t see plastic surgery here but I’m glad she quit the lip injections.
My older sister went through Chemo and a mastectomy. That stuff sometimes shows on your face. How could it not?
I just think she needs her ‘brows done properly.
I first noticed Kylie’s weird face at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007, and from up close it looked awful.
It seems she has only added botox now and then since then.
If you showed me the first picture on the left and asked me who it was, I wouldn’t have guessed Kylie. She doesn’t looked anything like she used to IMO.
A bit sad that a 42 year old woman would think she looks old enough for plastic surgery-especially if it was done years ago. She looks quite a bit like Madonna here.
I think she is such a beautiful woman in all of the pictures.
i think tabloids and blogs like these definitely contribute to reasons why women get plastic surgery. constant body snark does “make” them consider plastic surgery options. if she didn’t get a face lift and botox there would be posts about how she looks “old” and “aged”. it’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t kinda thing.
Is this news? She’s been looking this way for as long as I can remember.

I think she got work done, after she had fought cancer, or left that cheating french guy.
A pity, i always admired her looks, and i think in her “can’t get you out of my head…”-video she looked normal.
She must be saving up for the other brow lift.

This is old news, she’s been looking this plastic for years now, and her sister’s the same. She looked like this when she did Kids with Robbie Williams, and that was around 2003 I think.

A little work done, probably but she still looks mighty good for 42 , have you seen Cindy Crawford’s face lately, now thats a lot of work done and she is only 44.
Kylie still looks nice and fresh but anymore will tip the scales into catwoman territory but they never seem to know when to stop

She looks beautiful!! Compare her to Nicole Kidman who looks like a plastic face and I hope you’ll change your opinions

She’s been tweaking her face forever. You should also look up her sister Danii’s old photos when she had a different face altogether.
She’s also been doing the lip injections thing for years too, which look ridiculous, although in this newer pic it looks like she has at least toned that down a little bit.

You know what. Its rainy here in Brisbane so my hair is out of control and fuzzing out all over the place. I was running late this morning as well so my legs and pits are hairy as and I have a huge zit on my cheek and NO MAKEUP on. Im looking less than good today. What about the rest of you? Or do you all look perfect and flawless.

It is hard to judge our Kyle…her face (and body) have both changed after her battle with cancer. She is heavier now and has seemed to struggle with what suits her, whereas before she just knew. I think that she looks much older in the 2010 pic because her hair is so aging. It looks like some NY society dame. Good luck to her. Love you Kylie
It looks like a mid-face lift to me, but I’m not an expert by any means. I would love to know what she uses to keep her skin so gorgeous, though. Procedures, peels, makeup, moisturizers, whatever – she needs to spill it. lol
she has one of the ugliest faces i’ve ever seen & waaaay too small ..
her ears are almost sideways from so much lifting ….she looks like a ‘porno-elf-….scary as hell ..nightmare matierial…lawwwwd!
She looks good when smiling, but the flesh betwixt top lip and the nose has been stretched to bu@@ery with all that smiling. Reminds me of a 50 year old Britt Ekland.
Kylie has had her nose done,teeth done to be smaller,Botox….she doesn’t look too bad either….
