Tori Spelling is working this cheating scandal, y’all. That sounds terrible of me to say! If I were in her shoes, I’d do it too. We don’t even really know for sure if Dean McDermott has cheated on Tori with a Canadian random. It’s quite telling that Tori hasn’t fired back at the marriage split rumors like she usually does, but it’s not like the tabs had any photographic proof. So Tori has added her own “proof” to the shuffle. She’s posted happy family photos and adopted a bandaid puppy amidst rumors that Dean is a sex addict and has been cheating for years. Has it worked to dispel rumors? Not really, but it has kept Tori in the news.
Tori has also graduated from the lesser tabloids. A Spelling source has spoken to People about how Tori is “completely devastated” over Dean’s cheating. The so-called friend also said, “I don’t know if she’s strong enough to leave him right now with everything she’s going through and four young kids. She could stay with him or not. God only knows.” I don’t think Tori is going anywhere. According to some reports, Dean might decide to divorce Tori. All I know is that this is way too much drama, and now Tori and Dean have miraculously been photographed together outside a building that houses “couples therapy” offices. E! What cheating scandal?!
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were spotted together in public for the first time on Thursday, Jan. 9, following a recent report which claimed that the Chopped Canada host cheated on the erstwhile Beverly Hills, 90210 actress with a woman he met in Toronto before Christmas.
The couple was all smiles as they emerged together from an L.A.-area building, putting on a united front for the photogs as the 40-year-mother of four led the way in front of her husband.
Spelling looked cute and casual in furry winter sweater and skinny jeans, adding a pair of high-heeled ankle boots while wearing her blond hair in a sleek straight style and carrying a Diet Pepsi in her left hand.
McDermott was also dressed down in a puffy winter jacket, sporting basic jeans and tennis shoes with his hair slicked back.
According to an eyewitness, the pair arrived at the building together in their Ford Flex, where they stayed for almost an hour and a half. E! News has learned that there is a couple’s treatment center in the building, although it’s unclear if the pair attended a counseling session. An insider most recently told E! News that the scandal is still “very raw” for Spelling.
While there didn’t appear to be any outward signs of trouble between the twosome, a source recently told E! News that the duo is leading separate lives.
“They recently moved to a new house together,” the source revealed earlier this week. “But since the cheating scandal, Dean hasn’t been seen at the house very much. Right now he hasn’t been there in several days.”
However, the twosome appears to have changed their tune as of late and is seemingly working on their marriage for their four children, Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2 and Finn, 16 months.
In fact, a second source recently told E! News that Spelling is “focusing on her kids” while another added that she’s “acting as normal as she can and sticking to the same consistent routine. She definitely doesn’t want her kids to be affected by what’s going on.”

I’ll admit it — Tori sucked me in for a few weeks. She managed to play her cards well by stepping out to dinner with her four children and a nanny while Dean was doing god knows what. He was probably at home playing the latest Playstation gaming system. I seriously don’t see women scrambling to service his wang. I don’t know whether his rumored cheating partner, Emily Goodhand, truly exists. All of this is really suspect now that Tori and Dean are both looking so happy outside of their “counseling” sessions.

Those kids always look so miserable. That’s way more telling to me than all of the rumors and tabloid stories and blog entries. You can’t fake a happy family with little ones…their faces will give you away.
The kids don’t look miserable they look confused. They are probably very happy children when they aren’t on display.

Not quite as bad as what was happening with the Dionne Quintuplets but perhaps a parallel situation. Much like the Dionne Quints the children are often on display and watched and Dean seems like he could be the fifth child of the Spelling-McDerm brood. At least they all have Tori to mother them.
Mitch, I think it’s a huge stretch comparing these children to the Dionne Quints. The Quints were taken from their parents by the government and made into a Canadian tourist attraction.
Like it or not, Tori’s children are part of her brand. If you want to compare this family to someone, it’s more appropriate to compare them to the Gosselins or the Duggars. I think Tori’s kids are better off then the children in either of those families.
She should not be wearing that dark lipstick IMO. I would like to see her with a smoky eye and lighter lip color.
I agree, 100%, she needs to drop the too dark matte lip it does nothing for her and she wears it all the time. Very unattractive and harsh on such a young woman.

If this is a publicity stunt, that’s just like, the saddest thing ever. There are better ways to sell books that don’t involve dragging people’s name through the mud. WTF.

She is really a kind of white suburban Ru Paul. If she really wants to bring in the dough, she should have a sex change and then become a Tranvestite, for that is what she looks like. I am sorry to be harsh and it is Sunday a day of peace and joy but the platinum hair and the lipstick are just too much right now.
She can’t help her face, poor thing, her parents were/are as homely as hell so it’s no surprise. I agree her make-up and styling do her no favors but she grew up in Hollywood and they just can’t let go of their theatrical make-up regardless of setting. It certainly does her no favors.
She was quiet for a while. Then the stories of being broke came out and the Katie Holmes bashing and when they didn’t bring in the attention she wanted, she started with the Dean cheating. I’m not fooled. She needs the spotlight and the paycheck. I just laugh at her desperation.
I laugh at the desperation too but I can’t help but admire the creativity and resourcefulness of the woman. She plays the Hollywood gossip-fame game very well and she consistently makes a buck at it. Who would have thought she had it in her? Not so dumb after all, our Tori.
Interesting point you make. I guess in order for her to consistently get paid there will have to be people that believe it. I wonder what their kids will think when they read these articles in the years to come. Oh wait I guess she’ll sell their story to a tabloid too.
If my husband cheated on me would I “work it”? Um, no. Celeb or not I wouldn’t comment on it and nor would I talk about how awful men are to my co workers or family.
If anyone really wants to work it they should see a lawyer ( if it’s a continuous thing ) and book an appt with a Dr for some xanax, prozac, ambien, then see a therapist.

I thought there was a picture out there of the woman. The problem is Tori usually responds to the rumors or goes on some Entertainment show to knock them down. Now nothing. If you are going to set a pattern of how you respond then you change it. Well it makes the gossip seem true. Either ignore or respond to it all.
She has four kids under the age of ten. And her husband publicly cheated. Of course her first line of defence is going to be keeping it all together. Stay strong Tori.
I don’t feel bad for her at all. She knew what she was getting into, with the way that both their marriages ended. And he had a kid, and was in the process of adopting another child when they had their affair. So now she knows how Mary Jo feels.

I will say, however, as big a fame whore as Tori is, if he cheated on her after she had four of his babies in less than six years, then he’s an even bigger piece of crap than I thought — and I do feel sorry for her, as dishonest as the beginnings of their own relationship were.

Tori is a fake and I never brought that image she was selling on her reality show unlike a lot of other people. Just like the rumor she but out that they are broke and yet they can afford a new house.
Tori had a book she sell and as well as a TV show and she doing everything she can to sell it. I also believe that Tori would put out a false cheating rumor to media attention and money.

I have no problems believing that she’d try to use this to sell a book or get them work. So far Tori has claimed they are too poor for a vasectomy, that she has shopping problems, she even took a swipe at Katie Holmes and announced a sex tape that nobody has seen. Why not believe that she’s try to use cheating rumours to sell her book too.
I think it’s a publicity ploy – either from the start, or she started playing it to her/their favor once it brought attention. They each have little projects to promote.
The other day I said my biggest surprise is that he could now attract up to three women (assuming he had the one random plus a rumored fling or two more).
And if it is a publicity ploy–and I think it is too–that makes her a total hypocrit. Remember when she said her kids were upset seeing their parents pic on a mag and the word divorce. She ripped the mag and said it hurt her kids seeing that. Well, does it hurt them any less seeing the word cheater with their dad’s pic on the magazine? She is a total liar, cheat and publicity whore. What a sicko!
The only people I feel bad for are their kids. Remember when she flipped out on a tabloid for making her kids cry with a “false” Dean cheating story? I see she’s not crying that again this time. And it really bugs me how much she shoves those kids in front of the cameras.
I don’t think he’d ever divorce her though – he’d get booted out on his own, and would have to pay child support. That would require actually working.
Oh lucy2, if only it were so, but if she kicks his sorry ass to the curb she will likely be paying him support and not the other way around. It’s nice that you think the law will compel him to work to support his children and ex-wives but it ain’t necessarily so.

She also has a new show coming out with Jennie Garth, so it makes sense she’s doing this for publicity. She has admitted to blatantly lying to get pr. Bug surprise. I do not feel bad for her at all. She has made her own bed and now she’s gotta lie in it.
This new show of theirs is going down in flames, I can smell it already, another HW miscalculation banking on VERY stale teen success. Tori was total crap on BH 90210, which was a cheesy and forgettable show even then, why would we want to revisit it? The re-make tanked. These two had no great chemistry back then, so why re-unite them? It’s just a sad employment opportunity for TV also-rans.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I believe that Tori really has set this all up for publicity. CelebDirtyLaundry has a pieces that kind of confirmed it for me. At first, it was all about a random hookup where he talks about how much he loves his wife, but she won’t sleep with him, showed photos of the family, used protection, etc. Now it’s a mistress who might be carrying Dean’s child and an imminent divorce. She really is desperate for money, fame and attention. I’m betting Dean said no more kids, and she’s scrambling to figure out what might get people’s attention and what will keep the drama rolling. She’s nuts.
I don’t think Tori set this up. With the way everyone says “you’ll lose him the way you got him” she has a lot staked in making their marriage appear cheat proof. She loses double on this because not only does it make their marriage look bad but she has to hear all the karma comments. If you are going to subject yourself to bad publicity I doubt you’d pick the kind that says basically you are getting what you deserve.

This chick grew up in outrageously ostentatious and palatial surroundings, doted on by her dad and given everything her heart desired. When she got a pittance after he passed away, what was she to do? She’s not like you and I: she probably never had chores to do or learnt how to do normal day to day stuff. Yet she doesn’t strike me as a spoilt brat; she seems like a woman who is trying to look after her family in the only way she knows how. Through showbiz, however lowrent and Dlist it appears to us.
The fact that she is savvy enough to try and turn a buck all the while keeping her family intact is admirable and worthy of respect.

Not inheriting your father’s billions is rough. I grew up surrounded by the spoiled children of privilege and they get no sympathy from me. Their parents raise them to be useless and big surprise when they turn out to be worthless adults. I don’t dislike Tori but I also don’t feel sorry for her. She’s had a blessed life and has four beautiful, healthy children, if that’s not enough for her, too bad.

Agree @snowpea. WE ALL have emotional trauma and things that happen in life which affect us. Ppl like to compare things to others as a way to win that invisible badge of honor that says, “my life is harder than youuuu”. Because a person has this or that, they’re supposed to be like this an like that, and aren’t allowed a, b, c! You have to take into account that a fair amount of ppl are simply put-simple minded. I know there is not one human being on this earth that has lived a life without pain, so how can I project my BS onto them? That is all opinions are-releasing own fears and wonders in the hope of peace and understanding. Intelligence and pushing that damn ego to the side can do wonders for a proper assessment of things!

The place they just moved out of ($7k/mo rent) has an eviction notice on it, dated Jan. 6th, stating that they owe $7750 & have 3 days to move out due to lack of rent payment for the month of January.
She moved to a more expensive place ($10k/mo) a few miles away this month, right?

The dress in the last photo – despite being many different fabrics – works. And the shoes are gorgeous. Tori looks pretty in this photo – if she doesn’t mess with her face anymore she could be quite stunning into her late forties and fifties.
