Princess Beatrice of York started dating Edorado Mapelli Mozzi last fall, right around her sister’s October wedding. Things seemed to heat up right away, and by March of this year, there were already suspicious “they’ll probably get married” stories popping up in the British tabloids. Those stories kept popping up every month, and now that Prince Andrew is facing some of the worst headlines of his life because of his association with Jeffrey Epstein, we can expect more rumor-mongering about his daughters. Here’s the latest:
How long before the Queen has to order a new hat for another royal wedding? Nine months after her granddaughter Princess Eugenie married tequila salesman Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, Eugenie’s elder sister, Princess Beatrice, also seems to be heading towards the altar.
Bea, 30, has been going out with Italian businessman Edoardo Mapelli since they met at Eugenie’s nuptials, and friends tell me their relationship has become increasingly serious. The couple attended their first wedding together last weekend when they witnessed art consultant Ed Tang and auctioneer John Auerbach tie the knot in Tuscany.
‘People were saying that it won’t be long before Bea does the same,’ a source tells me.
Even though there isn’t much difference from this report to the previous reports, this was still enough for betting to be closed on Beatrice’s engagement. Yeah… no one is confirming anything, and if I’m being unkind, I would say that this is coming from Team York as a way to publicly pressure Edoarado to just propose. The Middletons did this to Prince William too – they would drop stories into the Daily Mail, The Sun and other outlets basically exerting public pressure to get William to propose to Kate. Obviously, this is on a smaller scale. I also think that Andrew would love it if we were just talking about Beatrice and Eugenie right now and not him. That’s what bugs me though, this idea that Andrew is using his daughters as human shields. And to what end? If Beatrice does announce her engagement, the Epstein headlines aren’t going anywhere. If anything, Andrew’s shady, likely criminal behavior would ruin Beatrice’s happy moment.

It doesn’t look all that great judging by the body language. She’s really into him but not so sure the other way around. It’s not fair to her if he’s just going to dangle the carrot but that’s as far as it goes.

No, he’s not dressing her. 😂 He doesn’t have the greatest style himself. She just (very recently) got a new stylist, and they’re quite good but clearly there’s a learning curve on the formal royal events.

Amen. I will be watching this story closely. It’s not just “Andrew’s association with Epstein” that’s a huge problem, but the fact that at least one victim has stated that he used her for sex when she was a teenager. Sure Epstein arranged it, but Andrew has made his own mess and should have to live with the consequences.
I thought it’s been known that the two families are old friends. These two didn’t just meet, unless they are still trying to bury the old homewrecking stories?
And Andrew is totally dropping any gossip he can to cover up his own dirty name in the press.
I’m sure there will be an engagement, but not anytime soon. There are rumors they are living together, but no one will confirm. As loathsome as Andy is, I do believe he loves his daughters. I doubt he’d use her engagement to help his press. Tbh, there’s very little new info about him in the Epstein scandal other than Epstein name-dropping to trap a girl.
Assuming this dude is an opportunist, he probably will pass royal or not. this story will be a slow takedown.

I suspect there is pressure on Bea to marry the less attractive Matt Bomer lookalike given she’s the last unmarried adult grandchild of Liz and Phil. I do expect an engagement this year.
Edo’s baby mamma will raise drama about their child being around Andrew because of the Epstein mess. If Andy is named in the unsealed documents the media will have a field day. Trump won’t protect Andrew because Epstein’s victims look like Trump’s voting block. He protects the BFR it could cost him the White House.

The last guy she dated for what, almost 10 years, married someone else a year after they broke up. Her younger sister just married and it seems as if she’s being pushed toward a quick engagement. I don’t think this is her parents, sounds more like the press. ..
I predicted that the engagement/wedding rumours would go into overdrive in the wake of Andy’s involvement with Epstein, and I was totally right. They’ll keep talking about how close Beatrice is to an engagement for a long time, at least as long as it takes for the Epstein story to go away. Wouldn’t even be surprised if they do get engaged and married as a distraction, lol.
