Here are some photos from last night’s big premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. I was listening to the radio yesterday and one of the DJs referred to it as The Rise of Luke Skywalker and I was like “hmm…” Skywalker is a TIER! Or a surname. Anyway, Daisy Ridley stood out in this rich red Oscar de la Renta gown. Sophisticated, beautifully cut, and the perfect color for her. I love this gown, honestly. I can’t find anything to nitpick. Okay, I’ll find one thing: it’s strange that Daisy hasn’t said anything else about her weirdness around that “white privilege” interview.

John Boyega in a light suit. This is too summery! I mean, he stood out on the red carpet, but still – should have worn a darker suit in December.
Adam Driver and his wife Joanne Tucker. She’s very beautiful, isn’t she? She reminds me of Mary Stuart Masterson.
Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys. Keri wore Celine and this is a disaster. The whole look should be thrown out – the ‘80s design and fabric and the terrible fried hair and bangs. Mess. Matthew looks SHOCKED by her appearance!

Ever since that Guardian interview every time I see her my eye twitches. But yes she looks amazing. And so did Kelly Tran.
And no it isn’t strange that she hasn’t said anything. All of these tone deaf actresses seem to be taking a cue from the ScarJo handbook of bad takes. They say dumb shit and then just pretend it never happened.
Yep. Ans yep. As for Keri, I think you are spot on: “Matthew looks SHOCKED by her appearance!” And I can understand, usually you can expect much more from her.
John’s pants were tailored too short. I hate that.
Daisy looks yes, flawless. She’s becoming a new girl crush for me after Cate Blanchett.
Love this dress- she looks amazing. And Kelly was serving too although thought the dress was a tad too long for her. But yes never paid much attention to Daisy before and now side eye her slightly lol
The length on Boyega’s suit is a bit short too.

Ever since I saw someone say that Cole and Dylan Sprouse aren’t actually just twins because she’s clearly their long lost triplet I just can’t unsee it.
She looks amazing in the gown though. Kelly also looks amazing – I love the color of her gown.
And Adam Driver. Sigh. He’s so attractive. If I was Rey in the first two movies I’d have been screwed because I’d have just been like “hahah, don’t hurt my friends, and I’ll go with you!”
The dress is beautiful, and honestly she should probably keep her mouth shut about that horrid interview. Not like any of these actors will ever admit to just being stupid about how the world works outside their small circle.
I’m going through the post, thinking how good they all look, and then I got to Keri. oh sweetie. No.

With the exception of Keri Russel’s unfortunate outfit everyone looks great. Daisy & Kelly look so beautiful and glamorous, and the men are looking fabulous as well. I’m so excited to see this!
On a side note, I learned not that long ago that Oscar & Elvira had another baby earlier this year! Where have I been?
Did John lose his luggage and have to borrow a suit? Just, no. bro. Otherwise the other gowns are lovely. Except the Keri Russell thing with the puffed sleeve disaster. Yikes!!
Kelly and Daisy both look amazing. Their gowns are perfect. And Kelly’s hair is awesome, too.
I remember there was so much underground gossip about Adam Driver and his wife breaking up and then… nothing.
It’s still out there, I’d look at Lainey’s recent post for the shade for evidence that the gossip is still rumbling around.
They supposedly weren’t living together whilst he was doing his play this summer.
I wouldn’t read too much into that gossip. He has some crazy, CRAZY fans. I fell down the rabbit hole one day and well…damn. I sincerely hope he has good security advice.
The side cut of Daisy’s dress downgraded it from a love to like for me. I’m picky.
John’s suit would be divine for a July premiere but December? A miss.
I always forget how small Oscar Isaac is. Like, really small. I do love him though and am relieved he has a new agent. Outside Star Wars he’s been a disaster.
I know he’s not in this movie but this post could benefit from Mandalorian king himself Pedro Pascal! Kissing Yoda dolls and blowing kids’ minds on the red…errr…blue carpet last night. Adorable.
Oh yeah, some of his stans are absolutely batsh*t, coming up with the most psycho conspiracy theories you’ve ever seen.
But relatively credible rumours in the industry is that they’ve separated a minimum of two times. I honestly don’t see it lasting past 2020 now that Star Wars is over and done with.
His stans are crazy and I can see why he kept the news of his young son private for the past 2 years. And yeah I’ve read the stories that he liked to put it around before he became famous and while married.
I absolutely LOVE what Keri Russell is wearing! LOVE LOVE LOVE … every single thing about it, including the bangs (I love bangs, I have bangs). I would wear tf out of that dress.

I like bangs too, sometimes. I am tired of seeing bulging, shiny, huge botox foreheads surrounded by 3 feet of fake hair.
After doing some “research” (in other words, watching YT videos), I fully believe Rey’s background wasn’t actually honestly revealed by Kylo Ren in TLJ. I think the theories about her ties to a certain cackling villain who featured in the first six films are solid, especially when you consider the voice-over in the trailers for TROS and the glimpse of “Dark Rey.” Will know tomorrow, when I go catch the film!
I just want to hide all of Keri Russell’s (and Nicole Kidman) hair dryers, straighteners etc. and force them to air dry their hair for a month or two. Heavy conditioning and air drying. Maybe their curls would come back.
Nicole Kidman is actually in a wig 99% of the time when on the red carpet and doing interviews. She’s rarely “in” her natural hair. This is well documented. Probably has hundreds of very expensive, high-quality wigs.
