Jennifer Garner and John Miller have reunited, according to Jennifer’s outlet of choice US Magazine. (The cover above is from 2018.) They were together from about the fall of 2018 to the summer of last year, when Garner was photographed with Bradley Cooper at the beach, right around the time we heard she’d split with John. (I don’t think Garner and Cooper had anything happening, just that she wanted to change the conversation.) Curiously this news is coming out right after Garner’s ex, Ben Affleck, quite publicly reunited with his ex-fiance, Jennifer Lopez. I’m not saying it’s not true that Garner got back with her ex too, just that she wants us to know about it. I don’t think that’s the best idea, but I’ll get into that in a moment.
Less than one year after going their separate ways, Jennifer Garner and John Miller are giving their relationship another go, Us Weekly exclusively confirms.
“Jen and John are back on,” a source reveals. “It started up a few weeks ago.”
Us broke the news in October 2018 that the Yes Day actress, 49, had been dating the CaliGroup CEO, 42, for about six months. The news came shortly after the 13 Going on 30 star finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck, from whom she split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The exes share three children: daughters Violet, 15, and Serafina, 12, and son Samuel, 9.
Miller, for his part, shares two children with ex-wife Caroline Campbell.
Good for them, honestly. So many people are reconnecting and hooking up now that we’re fully vaccinated. It’s such a relief to be able to date and get nookie again without worrying about dying. As for Garner and Miller, the official story was that John wanted to get married and Jennifer wasn’t ready, which sounds plausible. However we have almost no photos of him and he’s a businessman who didn’t seem comfortable with the spotlight of dating a celebrity. (Especially one like Garner, you know what I mean.) I really wonder if he wanted to get married and that’s why they split like US has claimed. It just always struck me that he didn’t want the notoriety of being Garner’s partner.

Welll hello there, Ms. Obvious. Jennifer Garner is the queen of tabloid manipulation. How the average person still thinks she’s this wholesome, “I want my privacy celeb” is beyond me. There are so many celebrities that we never hear about unless they are promoting a project, yet Jen Garner(??) is top tabloid news for the past 2 decades. Sure Jen.

Me too. 😉 Apparently, she moves copy…when she appears on the cover of a magazine, those issues REALLY sell. I think she figured out quite a few years ago that she can support herself if she leans hard into that “everymom” thing. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, but I think part of the problem with selling a persona is that eventually, it starts to become a bit wooden and tired. No one is just one thing, and I thinks she has a messy, bad-boy-loving side that fights hard against the sugar-sweet aw-shucks persona she’s selling. No shame, I know plenty of good girls who love bad boys, but they’re not famous so they don’t have to worry about maintaining a facade. I’d find it exhausting, but I think for her it’s a job. It will be interesting to see how she transitions into senior life. I assume she’ll become a sugary-sweet but tell-it-like-it-is grandma type. I assume that’s when we’ll also get the tell-all on Ben’s messiness. Can’t wait. 😀

honestly this whole relationship seemed… off. like when it first came out, it was when Ben seemed to be serious with that SNL lady Lindsey, and it felt more like a reaction that “see, Jennifer isn’t single and pining for Ben!” now he’s in the news for potentially getting back together with JLo, and we start hearing how she ALSO got back together with an ex? 🤷♀️ I dunno. good for her if she’s happy with him, that’s all I’ve got.
Actually it came out that she had been dating Miller for six months at the time Ben and Shookus had split (the first time.) Then it came out they had split up when Ben was still going strong with Ana. I’m just saying that premise has holes. I do think Celebitchy is right in that he is a regular guy that doesn’t seem interested in being papped or having a public relationship, which I guess is okay with her or maybe we’ll see it has changed who knows.
I forgot just how much this guy is her ex’s Michael Vartan’s doppelganger. From the profile shot I was convinced it was Michael Vartan, they have the same hair and nose it’s unbelievable. In fact, it would be more of a story if Jennifer got back with Vartan than with this business guy lol.
My guess is she probably learned Ben and J. Lo (less confusing otherwise too many Jennifers) were back in contact and hanging out and maybe that motivated to reach out to John. I am actually not that interested in Ben and J. Lo at all. I already know that is going nowhere.

She said he’s the love of her life years after their divorce, didn’t she? Her upbringing seems a little weird, like very strict and puritanical without the religion, and she totally went for the bad guy to self-actualise away from all that, I assume.

Maybe those Ben and the other Jen rumors got to her- celebrities need so much attention lol.
She’s really rather plain without all the make-up. Yet she loves her lip injections – always looks like her mouth is swollen to me.
So crazy that she and Ben Affleck were married for a good chunk of time. What with his creepy “It’s me” Raya video, it just seem so off brand for her. I bet she wanted to punch him in the face when that video came out. Even though she is very calculated with the media, I think she genuinely doesn’t want his problematic lifestyle to hurt her kids. Him being super creepy to a girl that unmatched him is way, way worse than her posting videos of making pies or whatever it is she does.
It’s not that crazy when you consider a couple of things: she was pregnant when they got married and she was desperate to stay married to him **no matter what.** She’s not his type at all and there were cheating rumors and divorce rumors for years before the actual divorce. They only got married because she was a “good Garner girl” who got knocked up. Never would’ve happened otherwise. Then she devoted herself to helping him revive his career and I guess he saw the professional benefit of the charade for awhile. Then he got bored and started to publicly sabotage the marriage. I’d love to know what Garner’s last straw TRULY was (maybe him taking Shookus public during the separation). But since Garner’s whole brand is Super Mommy and Devoted Coparent, I doubt we’ll ever get the actual truth.
Maybe they both started to have regrets once lockdown started? The timing does look fishy, on the other hand. If I am allowed a 3rd hand, though, Bennifer’s timing is fishy too. Perhaps she wants to distract from having contracted Armie Hammer, an issue that’s gonna come up again once Death on the Nile gets a release date that sticks.

This seems so obvious to me. I mean, I guess it could be coincidence, but it just seems like it must irk her to hear about J.Lo and Ben hanging out. Especially since she was eager to hook up with Ben when he was engaged to Jennifer Lopez (making Daredevil) and also took advantage of the fact that Lopez was put down in that time, and Garner got to be played up, and placed on a pedestal as the better choice. She relished it.
Kinda serves her right now that they have resumed at least a friendship if nothing else.
