Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi got married in May 2024 and welcomed their daughter through adoption in August 2025. They were 21 and 23 at the time, and had been vocal about wanting to start a family. They’re both adamant about protecting their daughter’s privacy, but Millie has shared stories about her over the last year. She’s also talked about being a working mom and wanting more children. Earlier this week, Millie posted an Instagram video of her holding their daughter and Jake seemingly wearing a baby carrier. Fans speculated that their family had grown and they were right. A source exclusively confirmed to People that they are now a family of four. From People:
Millie Bobby Brown is a mom of two!
The Stranger Things alum, 22, and her husband Jake Bongiovi, 24, have welcomed their second baby together through adoption, a source tells PEOPLE.
Representatives for Brown and Bongiovi could not be reached.
Brown recently shared a hint at her growing family in an Instagram post on Sept. 7.
The actress shared a video in which she could be seen holding her daughter while Bongiovi walked alongside her with a baby carrier strapped to his chest. The view of their newest addition was obscured as the couple strolled with alpacas in the Dolomites mountain range of Italy.
Nearly one year ago, Brown announced that she and Bongiovi had welcomed their first daughter together.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” she wrote in an Instagram post in August 2025. “And then there were 3.”
Congratulations to Millie, Jake, and Big Sister Bongiovi. I saw the Instagram post she made from the Dolomites, but completely missed that Jake was wearing a baby carrier. I should have read the comments! It looks like they had a beautiful vacation. I would love to visit the Dolomites one day. While it’s great to see Jake holding the baby, he better start carrying those baby bags too. Going from one to two kids is a big adjustment and they’re going to have twice the amount of baby stuff.
When Millie and Jake didn’t immediately comment after the news broke, I wondered if the family vacation post was her official announcement. I was prepared to wait until Millie was promoting something to get more information. I didn’t have to wait that long. On Thursday evening, Millie made a post welcoming her “little guy.” Welcome, Little Brother Bongiovi!

Normally I would side eye such a young couple having 2 kids, but it sounds like they’ve gone through the entire adoption process twice now and are truly good parents who are extremely capable. Very happy for them both! Millie seems extremely grounded and self aware.
MTE! I’m thrilled for their family and really pulling for these two to make it.
I’m thrilled for them but I thought the adoption process took years and years , longer than they’ve been married. So this surprises me. Unless the process isn’t as long as I thought.
Either way congratulations to the beautiful family.
I read they went through one of those fancy adoption agencies celebrities use – so definitely not the same process (length or otherwise) as us plebs. But hey, congrats to them and their little ones! Wishing them health and happiness in this mad world
They seem genuinely happy, but I’m concerned she didn’t have much of a childhood or young adulthood (either because she was working and supporting her entire family or now, because she’s child-rearing at such a young age).
While I’m still a little weirded out by such a young couple adopting and how that’s even legally possibly, we still don’t know if the first or both adoptions were familial or something similar to that, or if they were through a regular adoption proceeding. And, honestly, that’s none of our business.
Adoption has many problems that adoptees have written about but it still feels to me like a better way of having children than surrogacy, so I’m glad they, as public people, are doing adoption instead of that.
If they weren’t rich they’d be too young to rent a car. But as much as I side eye nepo kids, money does make a huge difference. It’s the number one stress factor in young families (in most families but especially starry eyed kids who aren’t prepared for the stress). And Jake’s family is close knit. So money and family support go a long way to a successful family life.
Obviously it’s fine to start a family this young, but I strongly expect that this might go the way of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. They just do not seem like a long-term couple to me.
yeah there’s a legit possibility they’ll split someday and she’ll return to England, but there’s two big differences: 1. Joe Jonas was a controlling abuser. I don’t think that’s happening here. 2. Millie has lived in the U.S. since early childhood. Sophie moved to the U.S. as an adult. Their childhood stardom took very different paths.
