Last Thursday, E! News began releasing parts of Ken Baker’s interview with Brandi Glanville, soon-to-be ex-wife of Eddie Cibrian. The purpose of Brandi’s interview, in my mind, was to send Eddie – and more specifically, LeAnn Rimes – a “F-ck you, your lawyers and your bullsh-t apologies.” I was surprised Brandi didn’t come out swinging – instead, she seemed to want to talk more about the history of Eddie and LeAnn’s affair, making it clear that she thinks Eddie and LeAnn are both terrible because they were screwing around while she was pregnant. It took a few days, but Eddie responded. Basically, he’s telling Brandi to STFU and grow up, while she’s at. Only he says nicer:
Eddie Cibrian is sorry for hurting his soon-to-be ex-wife. But he would prefer that she get over it.
“As I’ve said before, my children and their well-being are my number one priority,” LeAnn Rimes’ boyfriend said in response to ex Brandi Glanville’s recent interview with E! News, airing tonight at 7 p.m.
“I can’t change the past and I’m truly sorry that people got hurt along the way but not everything reported in the media is reality and continuing to rehash things publicly only makes it more difficult for everyone to heal. I hope for the sake of our children we can all move forward and heal privately. I wish their mother nothing but the best.”
Cibrian and Glanville have two young children together. He filed for divorce last August in the wake of overwhelming evidence—i.e., Rimes separating from her husband—that he was having an affair with the country singer.
Glanville also told E! News that she found out Cibrian had a three-year fling with a cocktail waitress that overlapped with the time she was pregnant.
“To find out that whole time that he was doing that—it just made me sick,” she said.

Eh, I don’t know what to make of Eddie’s statement, honestly. I doesn’t seem like something he would say, considering it’s so blah and vaguely legal and non-committal. Perhaps one of LeAnn’s lawyers wrote it? Because when Eddie is left to his own devices, he gives statements where he whines about unfair fishbowls. I also wonder about this “not everything reported in the media is reality” comment. Is he calling Brandi a liar, or is he talking about the tabloids reporting on LeAnn’s desire to marry Eddie ASAP? Your guess is as good as mine.
They both have devilish smirks planted on their faces in everything picture I see of them.
LeAnn did Brandi a favor, of sorts, in that she found out sooner rather than later that he wasn’t committed to their relationship. Now, LeAnn can worry about being cheated on.
Brandi needs to take the “high road” for the sake of her kids, now.
Brandi was last pregnant three years ago and Eddie and LeAnn have been together for one year only. Brandi was speaking of when Eddie was in a three year relationship with Scheana Jancan that she didn’t find out about until the Eddie/LeAnn news came out. The Scheana affair had been in the tabs before he met LeAnn but Brandi must not have seen it.
I would like to see LeAnn leave Eddie soon. He seems to have a long-term problem with multiple infidelity. He’s ten years LeAnn’s senior. Brandi acts like a woman who would take him back under conditions of marriage counseling and others.

This whore needs to tell his whore to shut her hole to and stop trying to sell her album. The wife has every right to speak if she feels like it. If he was looking out for his children there wouldn’t be pictures circling the internet with the whore sucking his finger while he was married. If he gave a damn about his children he would have respected their mother.

My thoughts precisely. Eddie, if he is to get on track, should seek serious counseling and LeAnn ought to pick it up, shake it off and distance herself from this experience. Let Eddie tend to his kids and LeAnn could take some time off from relationships, reflect and find a younger man, minus Eddie’s burdensome luggage, and begin a family of her own. Much better chance of it lasting.
LeAnn will continue to be covered by the press because of her status as an entertainer….that’s a given. Brandi seems extremely jealous of that fact and will have to accept that she can’t erase LeAnn’s celebrity if she and Eddie stay a couple.
I’d like to see LeAnn discard the Eddie, also. Let it settle and look forward. It’s been a long time for this to still be discussed. I can’t think of another spurned woman of a HW star coming out again and again in the press as Brandi.Most accept it and start to rebuild a new life. I sincerely hope she can do that for her happiness and kids.

LR has a spread in People discussing the affair. Serial Cheater Eddie has no problemo with this. Brandi talks about the pain of betrayal and Eddie the Idiot says she she move on??????????? Oops forgot LR has him on a short leasch and yanked it, so he came out with this statement. If his children are the priority then why did he lie and sleep with three women during the same period of time? Cannot wait for the LR/EC bubble to burst.
All three of them need to STFU, act like adults and MOVE ON!

@Deb, I totally agree with you. I don’t think Leann is his “Soulmate” or his “future wife” by any means. The public is interested in hearing about Brandi’s side of the story, and more than likely she did the interviews because of that restraining order thing Leann placed against her. If I was in Brandi’s position, I’d prob do the same thing, but I wouldn’t focus my conversation on how they are just wrong for being cheaters. At the end of the day, Leann did her a favor.
I give it a year or less before Eddie drops Leann… or they’ll get married, have a kid, then he will leave her.

Way more mature than Brandi. Regardless of the infidelities, the kids don’t deserve to have it rehashed every freaking time just to play saint. NO relationship ends because of one person only. Teaching something like that to a kid is downright irresponsible other than simply inaccurate.

I hate it when one of the exs refers the other as “my children’s father” or as “their mother”. It’s so impersonal, patronising and just cold… blah. Especially if the children were part of a marriage or committed relationship as opposed to a one night stand/short fling.
LeAnn did do Brandi a ‘favor’ in one way, helping her find out about his infidelties. But, LeAnn also willingly entered into an affair with a married man and was public about it…so I can’t wait for Eddie to cheat on her publicly and put her through the same embarrassment she helped put Brandi through. 1. I find it disturbing that he uses the phrase “people got hurt” both for his use of the passive voice (as if he did nothing as others have noted) and as if the people he hurt were strangers rather than his own family.
2. I find it downright disgusting that he is blaming his wife for hurting their children by continuing to discuss the situation when he caused the initial and greatest harm by actually creating the situation. It’s shockingly irresponsible.
The problem with “winning” the cheater when you are the other woman is that you have just won an unethical jerk. Not a prize.
