Bai Ling costars, tries to make out with Helen Mirren

So I was looking through all of the photos of last night’s premiere of Love Ranch, the Helen Mirren film where she plays a Reno madam. I don’t think I realized how strange this f-cking cast is. Bai Ling is in it, which should signal that someone in casting didn’t know what the hell they were doing. Remember when Bai Ling showed up on Lost? I thought at that point that the show was probably over. Anyway, in addition to Bai – who is trying to make out with Helen Mirren on the red carpet, and Helen isn’t having it – there’s Joe Pesci, Bryan Cranston, Gina Gershon and Taryn Manning. What the hell? Did they pick names out of a hat?

Here’s Bai Ling’s full dress – yes, she was trying to get maximum attention.

Helen looks gorgeous, as always. Love her little shrug/cardigan thing. I like her hair too.

I think these are the girls who play the hookers on the Love Ranch? Probably.

This dude is Sergio Peris-Mencheta. He plays Helen’s love interest in the movie. Damn, Helen.

WTF is Bai-ling even doing on the same planet as Helen Mirren, let alone in the same movie?

really? by the standards of what she usually wears, i think this counts as self-effacingly restrained.

I actually want to see this!
If it has one hooker leaving to get married, a bouncer in love with a hooker, and a lesbian hooker in love with a straight hooker, then it is a remake of a made-for-tv Canadian movie that was pretty cool! Heh
Bai Ling will play all the hookers.

I would try to make out with Helen Mirren too.

Bai gets a bad rep, she might not be the best or the brightest, but thats one more working asian i can add to the short list.

I love Bai Ling. She was in this awesome horror movie once where she had concocted a dumpling recipe that was the fountain of youth, and the dumplings were made out of babies!

Much like Laura, I’m just saying, I would try and make out with Helen Mirren too.

She would shut me down, but at least I could say I went for it.

I agree with bizzy! For Bai Ling, that dress is down right matronly and respectful! I mean, this is a girl who usually shows up to red carpet events looking like she’s wearing nothing but syran wrap and nipple pasties. This may be the most clothed I’ve ever seen her.

On a seperate note, does anyone else here watch RuPaul’s Drag Race? This dress looks just like the one Ru wore in the country episode last season!
