Not so interesting story – I went to bed thinking about Prince Harry and his ginger hotness but I ended up dreaming about Gerard Butler in his loincloth, walking a red carpet. I told CB this morning that it was the universe’s way of telling me to keep my eye on the ball. Of course, that’s not going to stop me from lusting after Prince Harry in these photos – they are from yesterday, when Harry did some charity polo match with Nacho Figueras. Is it just me, or do Nacho and Harry seem like they’re about to kiss in some of these photos? And is it just me, or is that hot? Anyway, Harry fell off his horse. And Michael K nearly had a heart attack.

Prince Harry has abdicated the saddle. The third in line for the British crown tumbled from his horse during a charity polo match at Governors Island [on Sunday]. The thrown prince landed on his knees after falling from the left side of the horse, but quickly remounted and dusted himself off. Play resumed within 10 seconds.

The momentary clumsiness did nothing to diminish his royal dreaminess, spectators said.

“I thought he looked gorgeous, he looked so sexy – even more so when he fell off the horse,” said Marybeth Turpin Belisto, 50, of the Upper West Side. “What could be better in a man. He does not look injured. Looks like he was on an unfamiliar horse.”

Natalie Cruz, 34, agreed.

“He knew how to fall. Prince Harry slipped and rolled to the ground so he wouldn’t get hurt,” she said. “It didn’t look like he was going to be injured.”

Harry played for Black Rock in the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic for the second straight year – a charity game that benefits people with HIV in Africa. The celebrity-studded crowds included Susan Sarandon (on crutches), Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Julianna Margulies, Josh Lucas, Val Kilmer, Rob Thomas, Georgina Bloomburg, Mary J. Blige, Carol Alt and Russell Simmons.

Opponents facing off against the prince said they were not scared by his royalty.

“I do nothing different,” Nacho Figueras, captain of the Black Watch team said. “The polo match is the same.”

Maybe it’s different seeing it live, but I’m looking at the photos taken of Harry’s fall, and it’s a wonder this kid hasn’t broken his neck ten different times. He fell on his head and neck! Nevermind, he fell onto his legs first, then back onto his neck and head, from the momentum of the fall. His legs broke his fall. So really he’s lucky he didn’t break a leg. Oh, and I love that the horse is all “whatever.” Be safe, Ginger Prince.
