Prince Harry is in America, having a big New York adventure as we speak – he arrived on Saturday, and according to People Magazine, he‘ll be staying through Monday, I believe. This boy is so photogenic, I almost want to let the photos speak for themselves. But I’ll explain them. When he first got to New York, he went to West Point and spent time with some of the cadets, and then he did some military stuff with a big automatic weapon. I hate to admit it, but Harry looks got with the gun. When did I become a Guns & Ammo kind of girl? Probably when Harry picked up this fabulous gun and looked all hot.

People Magazine says, “Trading his baby blue beret for a helmet, Harry and a team of West Point cadets fired M-4 assault rifles at pop-up silhouette targets from 15 to 300 meters away. Harry’s experience serving on the frontlines in Afghanistan as an air controller for 10 weeks in 2008 – a media leak forced him to head home – has helped him hone his shot.” All of the cadets were very impressed with how Harry handled that gun too. One dude told People, “He clearly knows how to shoot. He clearly knows how to move.”

After that, Harry gave a speech on the deck of the USS Intrepid, and met with some wounded veterans.

And then he went to the UNICEF offices and did a photo op there, drawing attention to the contents of emergency supply boxes that are shipped out:

And after that, he put on his baseball cap and threw out the first pitch of the Minnesota Twins vs New York Mets game. Why does he look so natural doing this? You’d think that he had been pitching baseballs all his life. Damn he’s cute.

In conclusion, if nine months from now, there are hundreds of ginger babies born in the tristate area, we know exactly what happened.

I see a numbers poster, “My First Radio”, frisbees, a football and some UNICEF caps, all things I deem essential in case of an emergency. Better prepared than sorry, huh?

  20. Mrs. Darcy says:

ha too funny! He is strangely adorable, I remember my Mom saying he was going to grow up to be the good looking one even when everyone thought Wills was the bees knees, I guess she was right.

  21. Nudgie says:

Actually Jen, the Military has fully auto versions of the M4. The civilian version is only semi-auto. In fact, the Military can make fully auto BB guns if they choose to 😉

Not that *I* have personal knowledge, of course… 😉

  22. Iggles says:

The dude is HOT. Hands down, he is officially the hotter prince!

That said, I loved these pictures. He’s doing great work, carrying on the tradition of his mother. He’s working with charities and supporting veterans + troops. Nice.

He much more natural at this stuff than his brother, William.
