CB bought one photo from the Angelina Jolie photo call from two days ago. Thank God! I was in physical pain that we didn’t have any of these photos. So here we are, Angelina in white, waving her tattooed arm around to all of the few photographers who showed up at this damn joint. Also, I’ll just say this – I think Angelina is a beautiful woman, and I think she’s one of the few Hollywood women who is aging pretty naturally, without the ‘Tox and the restylane and all of that (Don‘t believe me? Look at this closeup). But – girlfriend needs to put on some concealer. I’m all for aging naturally, but doing a photo call without any base or foundation on your skin is all kinds of wrong.
I love the white Versace though. I like it when Angelina goes back to a label she trusts, and Versace is one of the few she has consistently worn throughout the years. The brand work on her, and she works the brand. More white, please!
Also – Hollywood Life is claiming that Angelina has a new tattoo – some sort of swirly addition to the Roman-numeral “13” on her forearm. Here’s a closeup:

that is NOT new and its an H for her brother haven. Shes had that tat for YEARS. and the numeral are actually quite significant – churchles address was on that day. The date of her mothers birthday too.

Gorgeous. Ridiculously gorgeous. And actually, the sheer confidence to go without the concealer is amazing. Can you imagine her peers (Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Naomi Watts, etc) showing up with bare skin? No, it’s not a perfect mask, but I can respect a woman who just showed up, looking how she looks, slapping some lip gloss and a little eye make up on, because she knows she’s talented, gorgeous, and sleeping with Brad Pitt. Not to mention good works, critical respect, box-office appeal, etc etc etc…
I rarely get on my Angelina soapbox, but she can show up wherever, however, whenever, and still be one of the most naturally gorgeous women in the room-if not THE most. Period.
Those deep and smiling eyes and the most gorgeous teeth excuse any external flaws she may have.

Angie’s heritage unfortunately has her aging fast, but that’s pretty common–my mom has similar genetics and looks pretty similar to her (I think so anyway.) Beautiful, dignified but raw-boned look. I think being a mom brings out the smile!

I think she looks great with the laugh lines around her eyes. They give her face more expression. There is nothing more boring than a perfectly unlined face on a grown woman; it makes them look like they are wearing a mask.

I think she looks pretty damn good for not wearing concealer or foundation. The close up link didn’t really help your case that she looks bad, in my opinion. If my skin looked like that NOW (and I’m 22) I wouldn’t wear concealer or base either. I’d just rub it in everyone’s face that I’m a radiant demi-goddess with awesome skin and teeth.

Counter to your statement that not wearing makeup to a photocall is ‘all kinds of wrong’, I think it is the most genuine thing a woman can do – and look at her skin! Do you really think she needs it? After all, you had to view a closeup high-res image to even identify that she was au naturel. I, as a woman who never wears makeup, think it’s inspiring for her to go bare in front of the camera and still look that good.

I don’t know why everyone says she looks great. She really needs to put on some pounds. She looks like a pretty skeleton in a white dress. Her arms are so thin it freaks me out.

She looks healthier, I think she’s finally gained a little weight, which does make her look younger. I think she still looks older than she is, but not nearly as much as she was there for a while. I don’t know if it’s the wigs or makeup, but she looks at least 10 years older in the clips I’ve seen of the movie. This is a much better look for her.
I don’t think she needs a concealer, she’s perfect. If you didn’t say it I would never had guessed, beautiful skin.

She TOTALLY does Botox. The smooth, shiny forehead w/ the vein? A SURE SIGN of Botox (I know this because I Botox-ed for a while and stopped because I had a similar issue).
As for the makeup, Angie CLEARLY used:
* eyeshadow
* eyeliner
* lots of mascara
* eyebrow pencil
* lipliner
* lipstick
* lip gloss
* a light concealer
yes, it looks a lot more natural than a lot of celebrity makeup, but to say she’s au naturale is RIDICULOUS.
Come one, be serious, Angie is not immune from the Hollywood pressure to look good. I agree that she was always a beautiful woman, but you can’t help but notice that looks very different from when she first started out. She’s much thinner than she used to be, her boobs got saggier and then perky again, she clearly had at least one rhinoplasty, and I think had cheek implants, yet everyone talks about how natural she is. I don’t get it.
I don’t think there’s a single person in Hollywood who is over 25 and totally natural.

@ Kirsten, Yeah I agree but of course I am a jelly hater. I am about the same size as her, too fukin skinny, I know. I am 40 and my face is fuller. She had something done with her cheeks and cheek bones. Bad Angie, bad. You will regret not having that fat in your face in a few years dear.
She’s pretty but there are other women out there who are equally as pretty. The girl who washed my hair at the salon the other day for one. The gushing is a little over the top to me.
I like the dress. I think it’s really pretty. And the fact that it’s white helps add some pounds to her thin frame. But even in a white dress, she looks completely emaciated. How can nobody worry when they look at her arms and legs? Or the weird webbing on her jaw-line? She needs to eat…or stop throwing up. I also don’t think she’s natural. She’s wearing make-up. And yes, she’s always had great eyes and a good face shape (nose and teeth are debatable), and nobody can say she wasn’t blessed with good lips. But to say she doesn’t lift, tuck or sculpt things is ridiculous. All you have to do is watch Gia, or even The Bone Collector, and you can tell that she’s thinned her nose and that she’s started filling her lips to keep them thick. It’s fine. It’s just that I don’t see how people call her the world’s most beautiful. All of us here could look even better with the right surgeon.

I was very surpised to find out that it’s how it should be because her character is 40+ old woman (with 20 years of experience in spy business) who by the time the shit hits the fan “leads a boring live in suburbs with her husband and no kids”. So this worn out look is suitable for the movie, she had to look 10 years older that she is.
It’s usually vice versa but with these photos I’m not impressed with the face but I think it’s the light and limp hair thing going that’s ageing her. But instead I think her body and that dress look fab. White looks fab on most people, she’s just having a bad hair day here.
Sorry, that vein is a little distracting. If she has had as much plastic surgery as people say she has, she would have certainly gotten rid of that thing by now. So, I don’t think she’s had as much surgery as people think. Veins are actually easy to get rid of, so why hasn’t she done so yet? Maybe, her looks are just not that much of a priority anymore? Who knows.

i might be a little dense, but can you really get rid of a vein, especially one that looks like it’s supporting a major artery somewhere? The vein doesn’t bother me, I see lots of people with a protruding vein here and there. I’d rather she concentrate on fixing her hair.
I really don’t think you can laser out head veins like you can for leg veins. I could be wrong but I know my thick assed wrist veins support my hands.
You’re right, foreheard veins are not the same as leg veins. But, I was also talking about her arm veins.
I’ve heard that you can get certain minute injections now where the veins will be diminished? It dosen’t make them disappear, but it does make them less noticeable. It’s not major surgery and I just thought celebs had the means to do just about anything they wanted? I’ve heard that veins were an easy fix, but I may be wrong about that?

*sigh*. I never said her lips aren’t naturally big from childhood. But if you look at the shape now, even compared to 5 years ago, you can tell she gets them filled a little here and there. I really can’t say I blame her. Lips always thin out with age, especially around her age. And the fillers she’s been getting are pretty subtle. But you CAN tell. And I’m sorry, but anybody can tell that she’s had a few rhinoplasties since first coming onto the hollywood scene. I don’t argue the cheek thing, because I’m not so sure on that one. But the lips and nose are quite obvious.

Think of the other slender women we see in photographs whose arms don’t look like this. And this is not how her arms look when she’s healthy. Does anybody remember how gorgeous she used to look when she was healthier? Her arms were lovely and toned, not scary.

She uses derma roller on her skin, it pricks the skin forcing it to heal and creating more collagen.
You have to do it everyday, but it works very well.

I think she looks great. I doubt there is anything that can be done for a forehead vein like that – what you guys are talking about (I think) is either stripping varicose veins or injecting saline into spider veins, neither of which is relevant to a naturally protruding,healthy vein.
Her arms look bony, yeah. But mine always have too, pretty much no matter what I weigh. And I’m veiny too no matter what I weigh. We are all built differently. No judgment here!

Angie has been thin for 10 years rent, Gia ,Beyond Borders and Taking Lives with the exception of her training for Lara Croft movies. Her arms looked like than at 2008 Cannes when she was 7 months pregnant thin and veiny. If she wanted to have the arm veins removed she could so obviously she is fine with them.She obviously is thin but not weak. I ‘ve seen pics of her carrying 2 kids in Italy. Also I doubt she could do all the stunts she does if she was fragile.For Spike I hope won’t say “Anorexic yuck” if one of your loved ones gets anorexia. She looks like a different person from the side than from the front. I know she’s got more delicate bones, but from the front, those are some wide shoulders compared to the size of her head. And she’s got some looong arms to go with those long legs. Where did those boobs come from? She’s working them, they’re spilling out of that dress.
She reminds me of Claudia Black, an actress from Farscape and Pitch Black. She’s beautiful in an interesting, arresting sort of way – then she smiles and laughs and you’re blown away by how incandescent she is.
Ugh, but that VEIN. I have a serious case of pale skin with very, very close to the surface blue veins showing, but I don’t know if I could do a big fat vein running down my forehead. I suppose if she’s still got it though, in this business, it probably means she’s had it checked and there’s nothing to be done about it.
It’s a fact that she’s had a rhinoplasty. She didn’t need it, but the before and after pics are compelling. She slimmed it down, probably several tiny surgeries over years. And her teeth are veneers. SO obvious! Good ones, but they have that unmistakable veneer look. I think she injects her upper lip. The lower lip is big in her childhood pics, but not the upper. She does look to have lanugo on her arms and shoulders. She’s very beautiful, but she looks like she has a bunch of kids. I only have one and I never look well rested anymore. I aged five years in one.
Hollywood life always has so many fake stories. It’s always necessary to double check with them because many lies have been written on that site.

Just saw pics from the Elle Japan.. she looks amazing.. and yes she has always been thin. People love to talk Lara Croft.. she her self said that was NOT her usual body type. She worked out.. and even then she was not like some body builder. PLUS look at Mr. and Mrs. Smith.. that scene when she is lying on chair or something crying.. Same exact body. I think people forget that everyone in the world that is thin is not anorexic.. She has had those veins in her arms for always. and nobody was complaining until she and Brad got together..
