Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears hurt during drunken fight at a party

This week’s National Enquirer reports that Jamie Lynn’s fiance, Casey Aldridge, 18, was drinking heavily at a party and that pregnant Jamie Lynn stepped in to try and stop a fight between two of his friends. Fists were flying and Jamie Lynn got elbowed hard in the mouth. She was crying and screaming, and the way Casey responded was to try and get her to shut up:

According to a new report from The National Enquirer, Jamie Lynn was injured when she attempted to break up a fight between two of Casey’s friends:

“Jamie Lynn decided she could break it up, but got elbowed hard in the mouth by one of the boy,” says an eyewitness. “She went crazy, screaming at everyone….crying, screaming, and covering her mouth.”

“Casey was so drunk, he just kept trying to hush her up.”

Jamie Lynn just turned 17, and she’s pregnant, but it’s not like she was said to be drinking at the party. She probably thought she could stop the fight since she was one of the only sober people there and assumed that the guys would respect a pregnant woman. Either they didn’t see her or she just got in the way, because she ended up hurt.

Why she was even at a party were teens were drinking is up to question, and given the way the night unfolded it clearly wasn’t a good place for a pregnant girl to be hanging out. At least she’s been trying to lead a quiet life in Louisiana, but she’s still getting into some trouble there. Her fiance was even said to have threatened photographers with a gun he had in his four wheeler. I hope Jamie Lynn makes better choices in life soon, because she’s about to have a baby who depends on her. As it is, she’s hanging out with a young crowd that’s acting their age, which is much too young to be responsible for a child.

Jamie Lynn Spears is shown leaving Connie’s Jewelry and Gifts in Kentwood, LA on 4/9/08, where she was said to have had her engagement ring resized to fit her swelling fingers. I think it was the National Enquirer that reported a few weeks back that she was good friends with a girl who worked there and liked to stop and chat with her during the day. If this is true, I have some free advice for Jamie Lynn: you’re pregnant, honey. You need to be chilling. Nesting. That whole thing. Just hang out, get your feet rubbed, think about what it’s going to take to be a good mother, eat right, keep yourself hydrated, take those pre-natal vitamins.

Parties in which drinking is going on are off your list of activities. Teen drinking parties are especially off your list, even if you are a teen. There’s a baby in there. It’s not gas.

Breaking up fights? REALLY verboten right now. Take it from a woman who was teaching high school when I was pregnant and stupidly tried to do the same thing. You’ve gotta think about the baby first, my friend. The baby comes first.

    You’re welcome.

Is it completely terrible that I think she looks great in this picture? She’s got that whole healthy ‘pregnant’ glow about her. I feel like I shouldn’t think she looks good because she’s so young, though.

I hope she is doing fine in Louisiana, because to me, she looks just as stressed in that picture as in all of those we see of her pregnant. That “healthy glow” you seem to see Cassie, to me that is merely her LA tan waning.

I don’t think she should have been at the party either, but if every cloud has a silver lining, maybe this will teach her a) to stay out of physical altercations while pregnant and b) DITCH that moron fiancé of hers!!!

Let’s hope she has enough common sense to at least postpone the wedding (forever) with that guy. It’s just their families who want them to marry, to save face, if you ask me.

That’s sad that we can’t be happy for her because she is too young. I agree that I don’t think having a baby before 22 (or honestly, even before 25 for most people) is a good idea. But she seems to be more responsible and thoughtful than say, Pam Anderson, was when she was pregnant. And she was much older than JL at the time.

Take care of yourself, JL, I’m rooting for you and your baby.

This is what happens when you get pregnant from a 18 year old redneck ‘cute’ boy like Casey Aldridge. Poor girl, no matter how much money she has, she will have years of misery if she marries Casey. This is why you should not get married so easily and so young, you never know how people/ your partner will quickly change (mostly for the worst).

I find it amusing that whomever wrote this story just assumes JL wasn’t drinking. Since when does pregnancy/parenthood stop this family from doing stupid, destructive crap? In fact, I for one would be shocked if she WASN’T getting loaded right alongside her idiot friends.

  7. Enonymous says:

Also, why Casey Aldridge drinking so much (even at a party), it is not just JL that has to learn how to be a parent but so does he too, it is not enough for a (young) man to just take responsibility to be simple named as the father but he has to learn everything the mother does so he can put his fair share of work in raising a child.

what a class act this family is.

True to her white trash roots.

  10. wtf says:

wow! JL must be the “mature” one of her clique. That’s pretty sad.

I find it amusing that people reading this piece are assume its true. It comes from the National Enquirer. I mean its not really a stalwart of honest jounalism.

And just because one has a fucked up family doens’t mean that one will be a fuck up. If that were the case I’d be a single mom with 3 kids. And I’m not

Leave this girl alone. At least she is taking responsibility for her actions. She could have chosen to walk away from her responsibilities had an abortion and never looked back or had her parents raise the child as thousands of young girls do. Instead she completed her GED and continues to move in the right direction. I commend her for the mature route she is taking. Give her a break

 omg you need to get of of nick you are a bad inperation to little kids.

There are many ways I could defend Jamie lynn’s pregnancy by showing you statistics and proving it wouldn’t matter to the general public if she wasn’t famous but this is where I think she is irresponsible! She might want to party and have a good time but she doesn’t realize that a blow to her stomach could have killed an innocent baby! I would never criticize her for her actions because I don’t know her or the circumstances of her situation but she made an adult decision and she needs to act like an adult… That means no more parties and realizing that it is all about her child now and that anything that could put that child in jeopardy is simply not worth it.
