Did you know that Kate Hudson is a smoker? I didn’t. I don’t remember ever seeing her with a cig before, unless it was for a film role. But I guess she’s a smoker. These are photos of Kate yesterday, on vacation in St. Tropez. I don’t see her son anywhere. Maybe Ryder is with his dad or with his grandparents? And Mama needed to go to the South of France for some tanning, cigs and martinis? Sounds like an awesome vacation, honestly. That’s exactly what I would do if I was on vacation right now. I would go for a swim in the Mediterranean, sit on the beach, order some drinks and light up. Sigh… why am I jealous of Kate Hudson?
No news as to whether Kate is meeting up with Matt Bellamy, her latest boyfriend. Although – we haven’t heard anything about him in a few weeks, so maybe she’s already dumped him and she’s on the prowl again. St. Tropez is for lovers (and anonymous hookups).

no, she used to be a HUGE smoker….then she started running. I know, b/c I remember a quote from her when she was able to run for 40min straight. Guess she’s not running anymore. cause tobacco smoking + running= HURT lungs.

For all the work and effort actresses put into making themselves look young and perfect all the time, it amazes me how many of them smoke.

Re: Bloat. She’s over 30 now & can’t get away with all the excess she used to. Also, think she quit going to the gym after the ARod split.
I don’t know how people can vacation smoke or just smoke at work. I am an ex-smoker and it was hell quitting.

LOVE her. So relaxed — I never see her smoking, so it’s probably an “occasional.” She is one of my favorite celebrities. Very real.
She’s always been a smoker. She even talked about how it helped with losing baby weight after she had her son.
She’s not just a smoker, she’s a power smoker. Her mother also smokes, which is, I believe, the only flaw Goldie Hawn actually has. I saw her old the door of the grocery store open for a little old lady once.
I think it’s one of those ceramic cigarettes. No smoker – or nonsmoker – holds an unlit cigarette in their mouth. It tastes awful.
Most of you are probably too young to remember Over Board with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell but these photos look like she is recreating her mom’s role as a the spoiled rich girl. Is there an Over Board II in our future?
Also, Kate Hudson can act and Skeleton Key is one of my favorite scary movies of all time.
She is a smoker. I saw photographs of her in Greece, holidaying, last year or the year before smoking.
Ah well. Everyone has some sort of vice. Mine used to be smoking. There are worse things in life. Kate isn’t a serial killer.
I agree, I think she’s been a smoker for a long time, and Goldie has smoked for YEARS. But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how celebs who smoke manage to keep their skin youthful: They can afford the best skin-care products and facials money can buy, and let’s face it, most of them aren’t leading particularly stressful lives!
It was very well publicized about three years ago (aprox) when she quit smoking, and she has talked about it frequently in interviews since. She must have started up again after being on holiday with her mum and Matt, who both are heavy smokers. Shame.
Im a ‘casual’ smoker. I used to only smoke when I drank but now I dont drink (I get sick after just 1) I only smoke when I am away on holidays. At home I dont think about it but when I m away I just can’t resist.
